The view is magnificent. During a good day with the sun shining, you can have a wonderful time. I was during the evening, and I got some wonderful pictures. You can see a few kilometers ahead and just wow. Check the pictures for reference, but it's better to see it in person.
This ride is ok but nothing special. Depending on the weather, the views can be amazing but we went in a bleak and misty day so visibility was poor. There are many reviews and ALL of the owner replies on this site are not genuine.
The best way to see London is on the river cruises. Elevated views of the city are available for free in the walkie talkie sky gardens.
Give the eye a miss in the winter.

Really nice thing to do on a visit to the capitol city of London. Peaceful ride up over London, warm and cozy in the pods. Efficient staff ment that the ride goes pretty smooth. I was lucky enough to plan my visit for sunset, would recommend it. The photos where expensive tho. I would also recommend the River boat tour first, they tell you all about the sites, then you can test your knowledge from the London eye. Cheers Ginger Jack.

Amazing views! Spring for the Fast Track and get your ticket ahead of time. You won't regret it. The line was crazy long but that Fast Track got us on super quick!
Wow. Wow. Wow. I would give unlimited stars if I could! I booked fast track for an evening view of London, and I was not disappointed. While fast track did cost more, me and my boyfriend were straight past the long line, searched and into a pod within six minutes of arriving. Well worth the extra money in my opinion. But the views? Simply breathtaking. Seriously, the pictures and videos don't do justice. It's so peaceful being that high up, yet you see the city still bustling below. The pod has so many clear windows for excellent photo opportunities and is spacious enough for many people inside without feeling claustrophobic. The pace was just right and not once did I feel uncomfortable. I've seen people saying this is a "tourist trap", but I couldn't disagree more. As a Brit myself, I can't recommend you do this attraction enough and hopefully it will shine a light onto why I'm raving about it so much. A truly unforgettable, spectacular experience.
I have never been inside... perhaps the next time I'm back in London. I just find it's such a beautiful addition to the London skyline.
The London Eye is great, however, queues are very long! If you live in London and visit attractions a lot, I suggest purchasing the merlin premium pass. If you don t, it wouldn t be a bad idea to get a fast track ticket into the London Eye. Staff are very friendly and helpful, I love it and the view is great! I don t like it when it s absolutely stuffed inside of the pods. :)

Must try spot in London! Memorable 30 min ride, friendly staffs. Mesmerized view of London city. It is preferable to plan a ride during day and on a good whether! A special care and preference for differently able persons. Worth the money spend. Don't miss out the 4D show Complimentry with the ride. If you are booking ticket online, do not forget to print your tickets. There are various options for food available around London Eye. Toilets are available on the Coal building near by.
Great visit as not to busy today. My 9yr old autistic son and I throughly enjoyed the whole exspeariance. Staff were fantastic and even offered to stop the eye to allow him extra time to get into and out of the pod if needed. Fantastic adventure

Excellent sightseeing tour. We got on add party of an offer with our Railcard to London which was an added bonus.
Earlier in the day the queue was not massive at all and we were waiting for about 10 minutes. Once we were finished the queues were much longer.
Great 360 degree views around the city and some really nice skylines. Wonderful if you want to take photos.
The queue moved quickly, and there was plenty of room to move around and get photos once we were on.

This fantastic wheel would have got a 5 star review, but while I rode it one friend who was stood in line infront said it went clockwise but my friend who was stood the other side of the river Thames said it was going anti clockwise. If you fix it so it just goes in one direction I'll update my review to 5 stars.
A must visit if you are in London. A fast track entry is recommended if you want to skip that long entry line. It gives you an amazing bird's eye view of the whole London. Just Loved It.

Awesome experience , must visit however, would be better to try when sky is clear and not rainy else you will not see mush. Better not to book online and get your tickets from the physical counter which is quite quick . Also , you can try a night tour to experience the beautiful London lighting.
Great experience to look around central London especially from the top of the London Eye but I don't think it is reasonably priced. In addition, not sure whether it is the same on site, but if you buy a ticket online it is non refundable and non transferable, which is very silly and too commercialized. There are some photo zones that cost also as much as entrance fee. I would say it is worth it just once.

Although we were not able to get on because of super long lines, it was so cool to see! It s in a great location and you re able to see many things, even from the ground! I d recommend going in non-peak hours or the lines will be very long!
This is a must if you're visiting London. The ride usually takes around 45mins. The panoramic view of London from inside is breathtaking. The price is reasonable. We took lots of pics throughout the journey. Felt the ride was too short in the end and wanna go for another turn but didn't get time to do so due to long queue.
A great way to see all of London! We got the very last tickets before closing! Staff were helpful and polite. They do close the toilets earlier though and wouldn't let my partner quickly go before launch because they were closed.. so there's that.
Brilliant views of Westminster, the staff are friendly and helpful. If you get there early in the morning you will avoid long queues. If you have a Merlin pass you can get fast tracked.

Great view of famous London sites like Westminster and Big Ben (even if it was under construction when I went). It's a pretty long ride, about half an hour, and the non fast track line took us about 20 minutes to get through. Well worth it for the views! Go at sunset for added effect.

With a fear of small areas and heights, I was actually shaking as my daughter's and I walked into the clear capsule. Then, as the ride slowly climbing, my camera took over. I was fine. The spectacular views helped ease my fears. If in London, don't pass up the chance.

Compared to the queue/wait time, the experience itself is little short. You have to buy ticket and wait for the slot, sometime can take hours. If the purpose of the visit is to relax and have more time for conversation/ chit chatting, it s the one for you. If you are short on time, and want to cover more places, it may be a good idea to skip getting on it. Just see and carry on, you don t miss much (in my view)

This to me was just a waste of money. I would pay $20 at most for this attraction. We paid extra for the Fast Track so we didn't have to wait very long. If you're looking for a view, visit The Shard. It's pricey just like the London Eye but you get a much better view of London.
There's always a long queue here, so it's better to come earlier than what your ticket says. The view is great from the top. It takes approximately 45 minutes in total for one round. It's a great way to take a look at the center of London from above. You can really take nice pictures.
You simply have to go on this while in London the views on a clear day are brilliant there is also often voucher codes online to bring the price down and I would highly recommend booking before as the walk up wait can be very long. You can also get combined tickets for the London aquarium as well. When busy they operate a queue system but it works ok and everyone gets their turn total journey is good
A must do in London! The weather was a bit cloudy, but the ride was still very enjoyable! The ride lasts quite a while, and it goes by very slow, so that you hardly sense the movement. The waiting line was also not too bad, as we went in relatively fast. The price of the pictures they take of you is extremely expensive ( 20+ pounds) for a print! No way!

It is one of the icon in London. We tried to get on but the lineup is was too long. But it was quite nice of the walking. all around there were food trucks. it is a tourist area. like it

An amazing experience, the second time I've been. Expect hundreds of foreigners pushing and shoving, and dig deep into your pockets if you want any sort of souvenir.
Walk ten minutes away from here if you want food, you'll pay 2/3 what you would at the restaurant outside the eye itself.
I would highly recommend travelling as a group big enough to take a whole capsule so you can fully enjoy the experience.
I had a great time today in London and the London eye is one place I went today. I must say that it was a very good experience and it was much better than I remembered it to be from last time going. The views you get whilst on the pod are amazing. The speed of they wheel is also slow which means the kids were not scared and felt very comfortable. The staff are friendly and make sure you get the best total experience

Globalisation chills never get any better. Great touristy location that should be well planned in advance. This is mainly because if tickets aren't pre-ordered it's almost impractical to obtain a ticket on the spot. When coming to this part of London ensure that you explore around the river as well mainly because of the talented artists.
The view was great and the ride was very enjoyable. I visited with my family and I would truly recommend it. However, I would suggest you buy a fast track pass as the normal queue was outrageously long. Specially if you can't handle the sun very well and alas in London you don't know when it will rain. It was sad that the Big Ben was closed for renovations.
London Eye is one of the main attraction and world famous tourist spot in London beside Thames river. The best time to visit in summer, that is June to August. London Eye is a giant wheel. The one round will complete in half an hour with slow pace. You can see the birds view of London.
Absolutely amamzing, loved being here every single bit. The view was amazing, and the staff were friendly. The que was pretty long but it was all worth the wait for the view. I would definitely come back and go on the London Eye again

The London Eye provides a great birds eye view of London. I would recommend paying the additional 10 lbs/person for the Fast Track option. Even during the busy time, we still got on with only a 15 minute wait.
It was lovely, the cabins had less people in them due to covid restrictions, I'm scared of heights but still enjoyed this. Only negative is that the price of photos is quite high
Nice experience, not overcrowded. You get a good view of everything. Well run by the staff. The photos that are taken by the company are not great. You get better photos taking them yourself.
Beautiful site, must visit attraction in London. Almost across from the Big Ben. I didn't go on the ride but took pictures from across the river. Pro tip : walk here late at night to see fewer tourists and take beautiful pictures of the London eye all lit up.

I liked the whole experience, you can take some really nice photos up there. The downside is it's a little pricey.

It's impressive and it's big! The views are great on a clear day. My eldest daughter went on it for a school trip when it was raining though and said you couldn't see much, it was like being in a car wash! Personally I wouldn't go on it again as its more of a one time experience. It's very slow moving but gives you time to get a good look at things.
The Queen has a very nice home. She was out when we visited, but I'm sure she was doing something important.
Not cheap but on a good day it's a wonderful experience and great opportunity to take in a view of London. In about 25-30 min you get a well-paced and spacious cabin with views all around. Good idea to book online ahead of time and present straight at the line.

Some of the best views of this incredible city. This is a 30 minutes long event and by paying a little extra (for Fast Track), you can avoid the long queues during holidays. Also, book online, otherwise you may end up in a long queue in front of ticket counter. Pods move very slowly, giving you ample time to take some beautiful photos.

Tickets are expensive and the length of the ride is shorter than expected ! Long lines predominate and weekends the area is full of people packed like sardines. Online bookings are a cheaper option although there were many queuing to buy tickets on site. Spectacular structure !
