A really nice ride with a great view of London. The only bad part was the queue and we were in the heat for half an hour.
A really nice ride with a great view of London. The only bad part was the queue and we were in the heat for half an hour.
The London eye is an iconic landmark on the Thames and at the top you can see from miles around. I went to London with my girlfriend and we were both very excited about going to the eye. The line for tickets was not very long and the ticket agent was very helpful in explaining the type of packages you can purchase for other attractions located nearby. We ended up just getting ticket to the eye and no extra attractions. We went just as the eye opened, so there was almost no line for us to get on. I would advise to visit earlier rather than later as the line does get very long later in the day. The ride does not stop for you to get on, so the staff help you get on at an appropriate time. Overall the whole ride lasts around 25 minutes from when you get on to when you get off. I would recommend taking many photos facing the river as there are many other landmarks like Big Ben, parliament and Buckingham Palace in that direction. The Shard is very visible from the opposite direction of the river. The eye also takes a photo of you when the ride is almost over, which you can purchase later. The virtual eye tour is great as well and would recommend seeing it. Overall this is a must see if you are visiting London.
The wait was long and the ride was short. All in it was ok. Great view.
Great view. Queue to big and if raining no place to hide if you in the middle of queue but view will not disappoint you. Still worth to wait.
This is a good ride. Came with a full commitment from home to not spend money on this but ended up giving in. Great views of London.
It is a good experience. Try to get there 30 mins before sunset so that you can experience the best views.
There is a fast track ticket, but you can get the normal ticket as the line moves really fast.
The ride is a good experience but it becomes a bit boring the way down. Still you should do it once if in London.
The London Eye is a huge slow moving ferris wheel that gives you a great view of London. That said it is over priced and I can say I wouldn't pay for it twice without a good reason. I think it should be literally half the price it is. Dont get me wrong it is nice and you get a great view. You are on it for the right amount of time as well. They should have something on the capsule/car that shows you what you are seeing. But of course they are trying to get you to pay for a guide book.
If you are in London and only going to likely be there once it is probably something you could still do as long as you have the money for it. Just keep in mind that it's a bit of a waste of money that could be spent elsewhere.
Little busy, but when you go there you need to have plenty of time to queue and enjoy the moment.
A trip on the Coca-Cola London Eye is truly captivating, a must-do and has been London s number one visitor experience for over a decade. Elegantly rotating over the River Thames and less than a five minute stroll from Waterloo station along the beautiful Southbank. Step into your capsule and feel the exhilaration as you rise up over the Thames. Come face to face with the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, before soaring above them - up to 135 metres on the world s tallest cantilevered observation wheel. There are mesmerising 360-degree views of the capital laid out before you - London s most famous landmarks and up to 40km out of the city to Windsor Castle on a clear day.
Expensive if you pay on the day, better if you get vouchers for a discount as we did. Nice views from the top, worth a visit. Get there early to avoid huge queues.
Incredibly epic landmark. Right across the parliament by the river. You can't miss it!
Awesome experience.
This giant wheel lets you see the entire London from a bird's eye view and it's stunning. The capsules can easily carry 15-20 people and I was with my father who was on a wheelchair. Even with that it was super comfortable. Once inside, you will not know when the time of 30 minutes is up.
Wonderful view, but be pacient to wait till you have access to the eye, or take skip the line
Great views of the city, the whole fsmily really enjoyed it.
Evening times are good to take picture from the opposite bank of the river.
Fantastic!!! Such a great experience looking over the London sky line. Worth paying for the fast track service no waiting straight on.
It s pricey but I mean COME ON! You got to go on it especially if it s your 1st time in London. It s pricey. Even if you can t buy a ticket online you can still get one in person. We got the express ticket because we were short on time but it wasn t really worth it because the regular line moves fast even though it looks long. You only go on it for one full circle. Make sure to go across the street to get a better pic of the EYE. It does get pretty warm inside but it s not too bad.
One of the best ways to see the city. Buy the fast pass before you go and you ll fly through the ticket line and the 4D experience and the line for the eye itself. Amazing views and great staff with tons of info. The gift shop has some super unique and fun items as well. Close to the aquarium which is discounted if you buy tickets at the eye for it. Ride takes about 30 minutes to go all the way around once. Go on a slightly overcast day for amazing pictures and also cooler temps.
London eye is one of the iconic places in London. Offers great view and feels amazing riding in it. Please take fast track ticket along with combination attraction tickets, as the normal queue wait time is very long. Ticket includes small 4D show about london eye. Overall had an amazing experience & a must visit !!
Cool place i had so much fun. I been here one year ago and i still remember the fun. I want to come back some times
There is a reason why London eye is the best place to visit and yesterday I really got know why it was super awesome loved it
Spectacular views and fantastic experience.great value for price.we got an album and key chain and a magnet frame for a good price.entire 45 mins was a great experience.
The London Eye is a perfect place to get a great wiew over London - if you have the patience to wait in line for a 30 minutes trip in the tallest cantilevered observation wheel in Europe. I would say it's worth it, but try to do it as early as possible during the day. It's is possible to buy a fast track ticket, but it will cost you 10 more pounds.
Great view of the city from many angles. In the winter, we suggest a hot chocolate before you get in line for the ride. Yum!
A bit of queuing involved, but amazing views on a clear day
A bit pricey but if you get package deal it is well worth the price to at least go on it once. Great views of London. Line up may look long but it moved rather quickly.
Going to London and missing a ride of London eye would be toughest of luck happening with someone,
On a cloudy day of light drizzle enjoyed the spectacular scenery and view of river Thames and the beautiful bridges over it with such a height,
Love that and worth a visit;
A good place to hang out with friends with lots of activities to engage in.
Had Merlin passes which gave us fast track. Queue was big during the day and when we went on again in the evening it was smaller. Good views all round day and night weather permitting.
At 31pounds you can go round once .guess l didn't lol.
Great place to go to get a stunning view of London City. Nice to spend with loved ones.
Wow an amazing day from the beginning afternoon tea in a dome in London after the London cruise xx then London eye then walk around London can't wait to do it all again xxx
Its a very beautiful view and the river cruise is awesome. The cruise guide which I'm guessing is a template is also funny if you are listening. Try to get the top deck too so that you can get amazing pictures!
The views over London were spectacular. Nice smooth ride. Didn't wait long to board.photos are expensive if you buy them. Air conditioning too which helps. Really warm in the pods
Loved it. The wait in line wasn t too bad, even though we didn t buy fast track, the view was great, and they never overcrowd each little room, so plenty of room to relax, get your photos, and enjoy the view
What a fun experience. The line was long, but moved so quickly that we didn't even think about it. The view - incredible. Gives a different perspective on this incredible city.
Amazing experience! Very beautiful view. It is spin so slow you even not feel it. If you pass by London this is must go place. My advice: buy London pass, will save you money and time.
Just one word, amazing. The view from the top is incredible
I experienced the ride but not much of a heights person.
Love it! Huge! But toooo slow so if you are impatiant then dont take it.
Coca cola London Eye was my lifetime experience. Very rushed but yet A place to visit, a ride to go at top a have dramatic view of the whole London city. Very beautifully decorated and beautiful place in heart of the city. People of London are very friendly and caring so it make your trip more comfortable with the people you want to know about them and sharing knowledge with ea h other. Highly recommended for visit. Whenever i visit U.K again, I will visit again the Coca Cola London Eye.
Super smooth entry and process and was well looked after whilst on crutches. Views obviously fabulous. It's quite a calm experience too and felt very steady in gusty winds
Booked my tickets a few days beforehand, there wasn't much queue at the attraction. Great view from the cabin. Nice 4D cinematic experience too, recommended!
Nice views, despite the foggy weather.
Ticket office wasn't easily visible though. Could use some signs pointing in its direction.
An amazing experience!!!..
Too bad Big Ben is being renovated when we were there...
But Still London Eye is the best...
After the ride, you can just relax in the Park "Jubilee Gardens"... you can enjoy many attractions from street performers ... they are really talented...
For Lunch? You can Enjoy many food and Beverages Huts around...
Souvenirs? Yes... they got 'em all..
Wonderful!!
The area around the London eye is amazing to spend the day in. Of course you want to come see this tourist attraction but what makes it amazing is all the street art and street food nearby. The underbelly festival is also a must! Really great place to hang out and grab a drink with friends. The bridge is probably the best place to take a picture of the London eye especially at night. It s beautiful.
Well I m on top of the world, looking down on creation! This has got to be one of the most amazing experiences ever. Spectacular views and a slight adrenalin rush when you re at the highest point. A great way to see London in a nut shell.
I love the Thames South Bank and walk it regularly. You get great views from the London Eye.
Worth the long queue...we can enjoy a spectacular view of london..
One of the must-see sights in London. Everything is well organized and you can see almost the whole London.
NOTE: Make sure to buy a ticket online first with flexible hours and priority queue. Otherwise you will lose at least the whole afternoon in the non-busy days. While purchasing you can book the boat tour for 5 pounds and it is definitely worth it.
This is a must do in London, it s an unique experience, this was actually a dream come true to me and if you are lucky enough and there is not too much people around, you might get a pod for yourself!!
In my opinion, you get to enjoy it a little more at night because all of the lights around, it s really nice and it s like the city looks even more beautiful at night, I would like to do it during the day light the next time but on a sunny day, it wouldn t make sense to do it during a regular-weather-London-day, either way, it s amazing to see the whole city from the top.
Staff was so helpful, friendly and polite, I will be back very very soon!
he Coca Cola London Eye was definitely on my to do list when I visited London. After our London Eye tour at the Thames river, we proceeded to the London eye. We came around 6pm and I must say this was the perfect time to see London! Everything was so clear and the weather was perfect. The line to get into the tube doesn't take that long. Also, before you get into the tube, they take your picture on the green wall and at the end it'll show the great view of the Thames river and the London eye. The tube is pretty spacious. I would say around 15-20 people can fit. Everyone is able to move around so it doesn't feel cramped inside.
Went here for Mrs birthday was a brilliant day out. Bought tickets for 3 attractions before hand but ended up knowing someone that was on the desks and let us on for free and gave us a free boat trip... brilliant day. Top lad. Might use the 3 tickets next year.... bonus
Nice view to the city, 30 minutes ride, best time to go around 7pm when the sun is starting to set
New iconic place. Famous and recommend attractive destination in London.
The London eye is an iconic landmark on the Thames and at the top you can see from miles around.
Quite a view, enclosed and comfortable. Touristy but get a soft serve ice cream from the 2 trucks at the base of the Eye. You won't regret it.
One of the iconic and nicest attractions of London. I really recommend. Buy a ticket in advance and get in with short waiting.
Really good tourist experience in centre of London. Had booked in advance to avoid queue. Got some nice photos even in rain. Very impressive structure. Took 30 minutes i think to go round which is ideal. And maybe 20 people including kids in each carriage so very comfortable. Definitely worth adding to itinerary.
It worth the try, is not too much expensive as it seems, only 30 pounds, it gives you the opportunity to see all London's sights from a one place. Anyone should have the chance to try it. Great experience
I recommend to everyone. Beautiful views of the old center of London. I advise you to buy tickets in advance on the Internet, it will be cheaper for you. Plenty of time to take lots of photos from every direction. The best time to visit is right before sunset so that you can get clear views.
It is Magical at night. Don't miss to take the cruise at night. The view from the cruise will be etched in your memory. To make it more special, Check out the timings of the bridge when it would be open and plan to get into the cruise at the same time. Big Ben is nearby but is under renovation now. Will get renovated by 2021
One of the best views in London. Perfect at night where you can see the best of what London has to offer. A ride on the London Eye is relatively cheap compared to other attractions, and lasts for around 20 minutes.
The London Eye is one of the top 10 tourist destinations in the UK. I would recommend visiting and enjoying the scenery. And see the views of the city of London. I advise you to buy a ticket that includes all the accompanying actors in the place
A ride on the London Eye is a must! Worth it to get the Fast Pass as you immediately get right on with no long waits!!!! Go in evening right as the sun is going on a spectacular sight of the city!!!!
The view is magnificent. During a good day with the sun shining, you can have a wonderful time. You can see a few kilometers ahead and just wow. Check the pictures for reference, but it's better to see it in person. Around this area lot of good places to visit.
4D show makes experience more enjoyable. There is facility of getting clicked on London eye. Charge is around 20 pound per physical photo. They provide soft copy link also. Food facility is also there. Nearby this area , lot of good street shows also happens.!
Had the vip experience. Well worth it. Had a cocktail in a lovely room. We were then fast tracked onto the eye with a guide. Then we had a glass of champagne looking at the wonderful sights of London. Our guide, Claire, was fabulous.
It's the London Eye.
What else could you possibly need!
Go on a clear midweek night and marvel at London in all it's glory to yourself.
The views are good and getting through the line was very fast. I would not recommend the VIP experience. They are not worth the extra charge.
Had a lovely time, great view and its covid 19 safe, they clean the hole place before and after entering. Recommended
Go early to escape big queue afternoon,Amazing view
Such a great experience, we have booked it 1 hour before we decided to go on it. Lot better experience now with the social distancing in place, not as crowded in the pods as it was in the past.
Rather expensive and there are many other alternatives which are cheaper for a view such as the sky garden in the shard which is free in booking and the cheaper OXO tower in a very close location on the Thames.
Took.our kids yesterday on a flying visit to London the staff were totally amazing and couldn't do enough to.help as soon as they saw the Sunflower lanyards they done what they could to help us.
A well deserved.5 stars
Wonderful experience! You will get a beautiful view of London city, be part of the skyline, get pretty good photos and selfies. You will have plenty of time to take the perfect photo. You will love it! Worth every pound!
Great tourist attraction. Be prepared to wait or get a fast track ticket. It s air conditioned
Bad social distancing arrangements
But great view, had fun time with friends
Wonderful time on the eye amazing scenery would definitely do it again next time in the evening.
Worth doing it once to see London's panorama. It takes good 30 minutes for full spin
Been there 1 year ago and I still remember how beautiful it was.
It is honestly a must see attraction when visiting a London...
The only flaw about it is waiting...Since it is indeed popular attraction it is expected to be crowded so schedule your ticket early if possible.
If you are thinking of walking along the river Thames you should definitely check out one of the most iconic places of London. You won t miss it since it s Huge!
One should not miss this place if you are in London. Place is beauty even in date and night.
They offer you 2 for 1 discount if you have travelcard (National rail only).
They don t give any discount on Oyster card.
It's a joke! Closed because of adverse weather cindictions. Offered partial refund by expecting me to go through even more inconvenience by having to email their customer service. Even then a refund which supposed to hit my account in 7 working days meaning they keep my money as an interest free loan! No compensation for any inconvenience they caused! These people don't care about people coming from afar!
A go to place in London. This must be on top of your places to visit in London area. Very organized and the view is breathtaking
very beautiful city. many beautiful places for tourists who like to take pictures
A must do in London. Buy tickets online plus one attraction (Madame Tussaud s) which helps you save some time and money and you can select the day and time you want to visit. I noticed the price is higher if you are visiting the same day, I would suggest to plan in advance. When you get there, the line looks insane, however, it runs pretty fast.
Tip: you can also view the London from top at the Shard , you can choose one during day time and one during evening after dark. It closes at 8:30 pm, we went at 8:20 and it was a great evening view.
