The entire of London is visible from the London eye and must admit that the view is beautiful
A must visit place in London. It's better to book online tickets to save your time. The views from top were beautiful and experience was awesome.
Too modern to be part of London. However, it s pretty amazing with different styles of building at one place.
I have been to London eye in winter and summer time both was really amazing experience..seeing whole London from the top what a beautiful view the price is worth
Once you get on, the view is beautiful. I would not recommend getting on if you are afraid of heights. It gets really high up and the walls are made of glass!
So I hate heights, and really debated going on. Glad I did. The pods are well constructed and seat plenty in the middle,. So, you can sit in the middle if you want and not be scared of the heights. Then, add the views, and it is great. If you are here on vacation, a national rail pass entitles you to buy one get one free tickets and a 5 pound add on for a 40 minute boat ride which is also great.
The capsule was big enough to accommodate 25 people. We were in a long queue which moved quickly. I would rather suggest to go on a clear day as it had already poured in the morning. 4D experience was breathtaking
Worth doing, good experience but over priced for what you get.
Excellent views of the whole of London and beyond! Limited numbers in capsules due to COVID-19 made it a much better experience! Recommended.
What an incredible view. really enjoyed visiting this wonderful city!
A visit to London is never complete without riding the London eye. It's an iconic ferris wheel and is a must do in London. A lot of London passed will have this attraction included. The view from the highest point on London eye is simply mind boggling and absolutely worth it in my opinion. The wheel climbs very slowly and hence you won't have any dizziness. It's approximately a 30 min ride to the top and down. Highly recommended. Book tickets online to avoid the Qs. Very important.
Definitely will recommend again even if I haven t been there in over 10 years! I went with my siblings and found this time more efficient. Efficient booking the tickets online , please book your tickets 5/7 days earlier as you ll have a More
There're better options to get a good glance of London. Cheaper and equally impressive. For example sky garden and for free
-Perfect way to see all of London at once!
-Would recommend going on a quiet day (not weekends or holidays), because we booked a time online and didn't have to abide to it. We got on an hour early without having to pay extra for the flexi-ticket.
-The Staff were friendly and cheery.
-Definitely worth it for first time visits!
London Eye, it's fantastic and great to look at too!. The southbank walk from the Eye is a favorite spot.. fantastic human statues, musicians and street shows too, great atmosphere on a weekend!
A must do!! Lot's of staff around. The capsule is spacious and warm (today).
Takes 30 mins to do.
It is ok but not really worth the time (even with fast lane tickets) and money. I would not do it again.
VIP experience was amazing. Served a cocktail or glass of champagne before boarding in the Eye lounge. Fast tracked onto the Eye itself and then served another glass of champagne! Lovely lady staff member pointing out all the main sights and helped everyone to take photos of all the couple's and family's on board. This is definitely the best way to experience the Eye, avoids all the queues and hustle and bustle. Great way to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
Absolutely must visit while you're in London. Best timing is a sunset and night time. Avoid foggy, hazy days though
Great place to visit. Be careful with kids as they can get lost
You can t go wrong with riding the London Eye. Staff are very friendly and polite and if you reserve the right time slot, you can catch the sunset over London! The VIP champagne experience was great and wasn t all that much more money than a standard ticket. Each capsule can hold about 10 people and a ride is about 40 minutes.
This was such fun being able to look out on London on a bright day.
Great attraction. The all round view of London as well as beyond is breathtaking. Although, like everything else, it is a bit pricey but definitely worth it. A panoramic, without obstruction, and scenic of the capital from the top with a bonus if you come by evening to see night lights. Good experience and a must for any visitors..
Worth the wait. The views from the top of the wheel cannot be beat!
Overall it was neat but the system to get tickets on site and the convoluted line to board is tiresome. I would suggest getting tickets online to make it easier and you should consider getting the Fast Travk upgrade.
Really worth the money! An amazing view of London and specifically Westminster. The only downside is the long wait; highly recommended upgrading to a fast trach ticket.
It's the London eye what's not to love !! Can get busy but it's worth the wait!! Be warned it takes a long time to do a full rotation so don't go on if you are in a rush. Best time to go is early evening when to see the sun go down and the lights on London go on!!!
Four stars because the price for the ride was expensive. We decided it was not worth riding so we skipped that part (if you're not too afraid I recommend the swing ride that is near the eye as it is really fun and much cheaper). However, it is a cool place to see (they have a Christmas market nearby if you go during the winter months), and it is in close proximity to Big Ben.
London Eye is not something that can be described in words or something that no one knows about. It's kind of a trademark of London itself. It beautiful view, its lightings at night, there so much to it that can be said and less space here to write. A must Visit place for every tourist. You might want to get a ride of as well but that's totally a choice and I won't urge you to. But during ride its top view of city is phenomenal.
A great experience in London! I did the champagne experience. I highly recommend it. No waiting in lines. Access to the lounge with a free drink. I would gladly do it again the next time I'm in London.
London eye is one of the most iconic places in London. It s very dear to my heart and I love going there. I have never actually climbed up, I prefer enjoying the view from the ground. There is always a tremendous amount of people there , sometimes it can get difficult to walk around.
Scare of highs, but felt safe and what a view from the top.
A tad bit too crowded and of long queue but overall with the slow ride experience from up to bottom, you get to have a good glimpse of the view surrounding the London city.
Good eye experience of enjoying beautiful view up high above!
Pretty cool ride, but now that I've done it, certainly wouldn't do it again and probably wouldn't have spent the money in hindsight. It's an amazing machine and you do get incredible views, but other places have just as good of views for a lot less money and no lines such as St Paul's. However, St Paul's involves many steps and the Eye is an easy ride. I guess it depends on what you want.
Get vistas. Get your "fast track"ticket ahead of time online and skip thr long line to get on.
Very enjoyable experience as always!
We went on a Saturday afternoon towards the end of winter and it was not crowded.
After the ride on the eye make sure you go for the free 4D experience as it is very exciting and worth seeing.
Pricey for a quick ride. Not long enough to take it all in.
Looked amazing although I didn't ride it as London was absolutely packed so I couldn't move for all the people
We saw plenty of London landmarks from our pod on the London eye. Great experience. Would definitely recommend.
Stunning views of the city! I would recommend booking your tickets in advance for a good discount! There are a few eateries around as well. Over the weekends, it gets very crowded so make sure you plan well in advance.
Great place for pics, if u reserve a few weeks in advance, u can still take pics around it
One of London's landmarks. It's a must see and if you are not afraid of heights enjoy the wonderful view from above. Also very good fish and chips next to it and many other attractions close to it so it's very easy to include in your itinerary.
It's good but sadly you can't see the refectory from here
This is a great visitor attraction, for both locals and tourists! We went for a special occasion so had the VIP package which is wonderful! No queues in the rain straight to VIP reception to collect tickets and then up to The Lounge where you are welcomed to sit and wait, perhaps have a quick drink from the bar, great views over the area. Arnie then greeted us and took us to the Eye and our small group pod. There were only 17 of us so plenty of room. We all were given a drink and had photos taken before leaving. Christina as we left was also very helpful. Well worth it, a great visit!
What a great way to see the city, beautiful views with the ability to see London 360 degrees. A must when in London.
The Eye was a lot of fun to go on! I personally suggest going closer to the evening (we went around 5pm) because there are no lines at all and the view is still stunning. The pods are large and don't rock much. There is a bench in the middle of the pods. There are plenty of attractions near the bottom, including a Christmas market in the winter.
Was quite nice! There is construction on Big Ben and throughout London but got some nice shots. Line moves quick so no need to buy fast pass tickets. If you don't get a bundle you can bundle after the fact with the ticket vendor station.
Loved it! A great way to have a superb panoramic view of London, especially on a sunny day! The ride is slow and calm and allows you to enjoy the view.
On the ground they offer a 4D experience clip of The London eye, they have a VIP lounge and of course, a souvenirs shop.
Worth it, it is iconic for London.
One of the iconic places of London. Near parliament house and big Ben, the best place to click pictures is from the opposite side then cross the bridge to see it up close...there are so many restuarants around to get some food and enjoy the view, always buzzing with people...take a ride , book in advance if have time...else you can always see the water, boates ,people and enjoy!! A must visit if in London
Taking in the sights from the London Eye is even better than I remembered from previous visits. We arrived in the late afternoon and the light was amazing. We didn't have a long wait which made the experience very relaxing and the city even seemed quiet. Make sure to bring your camera as the views are spectacular.
Amazing as always, reduced pod capacity due to Covid-19 but still as fun as always
Great Experience, could see the whole of London at a birds eye view.
Good but one time only. You wouldn t want to keep going on it.
I highly recommend the fast track! It saves you so much time. Even on a Monday, it s quite busy.
If you can t get signal for your pdf tickets, just go print them at the kiosks.
It s a beautiful view but it can be quite awkward with 12 or so people playing musical chairs in the middle and trying to walk around to get photos on the outside.
I wouldn t recommend this for anyone elderly.
With fast track entrance really quick! Perfect view over London!
A must visit during your visit to the UK. Get to enjoy the bird eyes view of London and take a lot of nice photos.
Definitely recommend a trip on it if the queues aren't too big!
First of all, it is very expensive to go on the London Eye. I paid for the fast track ticket so fortunately there wasn't any wait at all for me, however the regular ticket line looked pretty long. They shove 10ish people into each pod at the bottom and it takes roughly 30 minutes to go around. There is seating in the pods or you can stand. The view from the top is stunning with a 360 view of the city. If you can afford it, it's definitely worth doing.

3rd time inside and it NEVER gets boring! Im pretty scared of heights but feel so safe inside. A must donin London!!
The London Eye, or the Millennium Wheel (also called the lastminute.com London Eye for sponsorship purposes), is a cantilevered observation wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. It is Europe's tallest cantilevered observation wheel, and is the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom with over 3 million visitors annually, and has made many appearances in popular culture.
The best view you can get for the most beautiful part of the city and a must come if you are ever in London
Amazing views of the Christmas lights over the Thames. Brilliant birthday treat.
Amazing place. Best time to go is first thing in the morning to avoid any queues.
One of the top rated tourist attraction in london . Best view of the city from one place .
Very neat attraction. We used one of our explore London passes and really enjoyed ourselves. The line moved very quickly and the 4D experience was a nice little extra. We went at night and still thought it was beautiful, however if you went during the day you may be able to identify more buildings.
Good experience. Can enjoy full panoramic view of London from eye.
It's a beautiful place, make sure to also go the garden facing it, it has a lot of fun activities.
The view of London , the sky and the aerial city view along side with water , really awesome 30 minutes spend over there, it is like a dream come over true and the night scenery really romantic .
Thank you so much for the best time spend over there , would really visit again soon to this beautiful iconic eye.
Would highly recommend others to visit if not yet visited.
Fantastic experience. Didn't have to wait to long and booked on day
This is one of the most beautiful landmark in London and visits are incomplete without few pics of this. However paying 30 GBP and getting on a ride of this was a little too much and didn't seem worth. So if you are on a budget trip, you can look to skip this.
London Eye itself is one of the biggest names in the world and does not need any description or Writing. But if I need to say something, I would say you have to get into London eye once if you have been to UK. From London Eye you will have a wide and whole view of the City of London and also River Thames. It gives you the view from different heights as it slowly moves upward a d then reaches the top and then again comes downward. In between you can click and capture the City in your camera from several heights and several angles. One of the best attractions not only in London, or in UK but in the World. This was my second visit to London Eye. Must visit if you are in UK
Amazing experience. Queues are crazy so better buy fast track tickets. Absolutely amazing views.
Superb ride. Wonderful entertainment. This is one of London's recognizable business cards! I recommend to everyone. Beautiful views of the old center of London. I advise you to buy tickets in advance on the Internet, it will be cheaper for you. Here you can make vivid and unique photos.
Visited London eye on a very hot day of June. Is the hype worth it? I don't think. Time to start moving away from touristic places. Despite having booked a entry time, i had to wait 1.30 hrs to actually board the capsule of London eye. It was so so hot that there was no provision to take care of tourist's on this day. The view is fine..but certainly not worth of price and time.
I've been to London about 5 times now but never got on the London Eye because honestly it didn't look like it was worth it. The only reason I went this time is because I got a 50% off coupon for my friend and I to use so I figured alrighty, let's do this.
First let me state that right now in June the wait in line is long, like 45 minutes long. We bought the tickets online about a week ago for 2pm so we thought that meant we would get on at 2pm but NOPE. The time slot options apparently mean nothing. Being that neither of us wanted to wait 45 minutes, we caved and paid an extra 10 pounds each to skip the line (the wait went from 45 minutes to 5 minutes with fast track so it was worth it to us).
Anyway, once we paid for the upgrade we ran into a bit of an issue. The cellphone connection all of a sudden vanished. It took us a very long while to figure out how to show our tickets in order to get on since we had no reception. Therefore, if you are from another country, make sure you either print out your tickets before heading over or simply connect to the free wifi provided in the area in order to get things to work.
With that said, the hassle was worth it. The whole thing feels super safe and I'm not a fan of heights. You hop on, while it's moving slowly, go around once and it takes about 35 minutes or so. Our vessel was a little crowded so it was hard at times to get the shots I wanted but people did move out of the way often enough for me to be able to. The pictures I attached I shot with my cell phone. I placed my phone directly on the glass to avoid getting any reflections. I had a blast up there and I'm glad I pushed past my hesitation. Would I get on it again? Probably not but for a tourist thing it's for sure a must.
Overpriced for what it was. Fast track queue means the standard queue takes a long time.
Worth doing it if you're in London. The views are great, just like the experience
Great location with great views of London. Lovely staff also. I would recommend.
The experience was awesome! I had to get over my fear of heights to get inside and stand next to the glass. Breathtaking! Too bad it wasn't a nice clear day, we could have seen Windsor Castle even before we get to visit it. :)
This was a great experience and one of our "tourist" stops while in London. Definitely worth the cost of tickets and wait in line (which really wasn't too bad!).
Really enjoyed the cruise on the River Thames. I ve also tried out the 360 view of the eye. It was really impressive and gave a huge glimpse of London. The staff were really friendly and were eager to help if you had any questions. 10/10 customer service for sure. Overall, it was a great experience and I would surely come back again in the near future.
It's amazing. It's expensive but it was an amazing experience!
I think everybody should go there when he's visiting London!!
We was in the evening there and when you see all the lights of the city it's fantastic!!
A must do, you'll have a very nice view of London.
It closes by 8:30PM however I recommend to visit in day time so you'll enjoy full view of London, also check the weather and try to plan it in a clear day.
We visited with a very nice clear weather, we enjoyed a nice full view of our surroundings.
The full round will take around 30 minutes, and it goes very slow so you embark and disembark while the cabines are moving.
We did have a stroller and you can reach next to the cabin with the stroller however you need to close it to take it to cabin and you have to carry your kid on your hand and it is not allowed to keep him in stroller.
Loved the breathtaking view of London city from the capsule. It was a fun to meet multi cultured people at one place. The gift shops around the spot had lots of souvenirs at low cost. I bought a lot of memorable gifts from the shop. Big Ben and Thames River around the London eye. So what else is needed for a tourist who comes to London. Everyone would definitely love it.
NOTE: If you need to save time it is better to book your tickets in prior and know your timing.
very remarkable place as one of the most distinguished landmarks of London.
Big viewing area all around ! Even with the amount of people on the ride with you, I never felt like I couldn't see anything. It was wonderful the views and the ride is longer than I thought! Plenty of time to take lots of photos from every direction. There is also seating inside if you don't want to stand the entire time. The lineup is long of course but moved quicker than expected.
Always looks great, especially in front of a blue sky
