Great views of London, but was still fairly busy. Also booked the eye with the Shrek's Adventure online and the website allowed us to book without having space for Shrek's Adventure which left us with only one thing to do

We had a fantastic time and the views were unbelievable I would recommend this great attraction to every one. There are 32 pods, one to represent the 32 burrows of London. They are numbered 1-33. That's right number 13 is not on

The London eye is very unique in a way it's definitely advisable to take a ride on it to have a beautiful view of the city from above and also if big Ben. When you just see it from outside then it's not really unique but when you tags the the ride you will see a lot. One has to pay of course for the ride but it's definitely worth it.

This was such a neat experience with a wonderful view of the city! The wait in line was quite long, and the tickets were pricey at $40. For the price though, we were up in the Eye for at least an hour which was nice and there were only about 10 other people with us.

Beautiful views.

Beautiful views.
Went during the evening time, and even on a fairly foggy day we saw plenty. Been during the day and after dark now and I would definitely recommend an evening trip if you d like to see the city lights, especially in the colder months.

I am glad we took the opportunity to ride on the London Eye but found that for the experience it was a bit expensive. The staff was friendly and helpful and as we went early when it opened and it was March there were no lineups. We had eight people in our capsule which was not crowded at all. I was a bit disappointed that due to the tall modern buildings to the east, you could not see the Tower of London. The five-minute 4-D Imax experience we wnt to after the ride was worth the experience.

Great views of London you can see big Ben, Buckingham palace, Downing Street.
And if you are like me and you don t like heights do worry it very smooth and you don t notice that you are moving.
Just try and pick a nice day.

An iconic part of London that is full of activity and very well maintained. Due to it's popularity, it can be very crowded during holiday time and weekends. There are also other fun activities to do in the immediate area and a lot of places to grab a bite or a snack

Fun experience great views. The ride was smooth and not as bad as I thought it might be. We ve done the Las Vegas remake. It was alittle dirty and the ac wasn t that strong. We bought the skip the line passes. Made it worth it. The normal line was really long. We had a good time. Definitely a must do in the city.

A must visit place and ride in London Eye. The view from the top is amazing and breathtaking. With 360 degree view at this height is just awesome and can't be described in world, it has to to be experienced.

One of the most visited places in London. Great vti have Skyline view of London which is really big and beautiful. Little bit overpriced but great experience. One can buy tickets online to save some money. Helpful staff as they try to sell you some things at each point. Nice place to have good times with family.

Fantastic views the entire ride. Less than 30 minutes long. Would highly recommend buying the fast-pass on online (it took me >5 mins on mobile). Few euros more but wait time only few minutes.

I have been in this place on New Year Eve to see the New Year Fireworks. That's really amazing and i had never ever seen such a long, wonderful, colorful, marvelous and mesmerizing welcoming celebration for new year. I waited here for 5 hours to see just the 20 minutes fireworks, but still I felt worth waiting so long. You need to go early to reserve your place , as the time passes security personnel keeps on closing the areas after which no one can enter. Must visit place for New Year Fireworks.

Even on an overcast day this was an enjoyable experience. One 30 minute circuit felt a little short, but we had plenty of time to see the sights without the kids getting wanting to climb their way down.

The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel on the Thames river in London. It is Europe's tallest Ferris wheel, and most popular tourist attraction. They require to purchase tickets and the lines are super long especially during Summer till September.

Been on the wheel a couple of times before but never at night. Fantastic views over London. Need ro book in advance to avoid queues, no wheelchair access via fast track ticket entrance. They put you in the queue for general access so you need to make yourself known to the staff to get faster access if you have booked fast track. Look out for the camera on the way back down if you want a souvenir photo. Bizarrely you cannot take camera tripods with you if you are taking photos? My sons was confiscated and given back once we had been on. Enjoy!

A great day, we really enjoyed it. Very well run by staff who are very friendly and helpful. Absolutely loved the 4d experience. We also done the river cruise and Jeannie was t the name of our tour guide, thought she was brilliant with funny comments threw in here and there, what she does comes very naturally to her. Weather was a bonus....

A first for me and my partner on Valentines day. Of course it's one of the many things you must do when visiting London however as I'm not a lover of heights and the occasional stopping of the motion caused a strange sensation and loss of balance which I can't say we were too fond of.
The view is spectacular, so many photo opportunities on the half an hour ride around but this can be tainted by the smell of a soiled nappy if you happen to end up in a pod with a family (not the fault of the London Eye of course).
I would still recommend this as a one off experience however.

My second visit to this fantastic place. Stunning views of London city. Booked tickets online and didn't have to wait long to get on it. Perfect speed in going round and absolutely amazing aerial views of one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Well worth the visit. Great price when bought as a bundle for other venues too. Simply amazing

I am the eye in the sky

The structure is 135 metres (443 ft) tall and the wheel has a diameter of 120 metres (394 ft). When it opened to the public in 2000 it was the world's tallest Ferris wheel. Its height was surpassed by the 525-foot (160 m) Star of Nanchang in 2006, the 165 metres (541 ft) Singapore Flyer in 2008, and the 550-foot tall (167.6 m) High Roller (Las Vegas) in 2014. Supported by an A-frame on one side only, unlike the taller Nanchang and Singapore wheels, the Eye is described by its operators as "the world's tallest cantilevered observation wheel".

Great place to see the sights of London from... The London eye is a must do attraction before taking a guided tour boat down the river Thames.

Put it on your bucket list of things to do in London England, it s something you will never forget...

Not sure my 1 year old could ve had a better time, he absolutely loved it. The other 2 kids and 2 adults also had a great time, the weather helped as we could see for miles. Very much worth a visit and the wait was nowhere near what we thought it would be. Definitely recommend to one and all, go and do it!

Absolutely great view on a gorgeous day, definitely worth it for a once in a lifetime experience.
However, be prepared for a lengthy queue, it's hugely popular and will take some time to get on even if you pay for the fast pass. We went on a fairly warm sunny day and it was heaving. Took just over an hour of queuing outside, after the queue for collecting your tickets. PS the A queue starts fair bit away from the attraction, but it does move regularly so it's not so depressing!
Top tip: make sure you check online for 50% off ticket offers, etc... it will save you a packet. We had a 50% off offer included as part of our train ticket down to London.

Enjoy!

Fantastic views over London. Takes about 25 mins to do a full circle. Fast pass is worth it if its anyway busy. Saves on lots of queuing so is worth the extra cost. Its not cheap with 5 of us paying 200 pounds hence 4 stars but its a one off experience You can buy tickets at the self service kiosks inside the ticket reservations area rather than queuing. Not sure why more people didnt use them. Huge queues for tickets and kiosks almost empty. If you have vouchers you need to redeem them for actual tickets. May people queued to get on only to be turned away to go have vouchers validated first.

I purchased tickets for the champagne experience and then paid a bit extra for an additional drink while waiting in the lounge. I suggest paying extra so you re able to wait in the lounge as opposed to the disorderly lounge outside. A 6:00pm ride was perfect as the sun was just beginning to set. The host was the best and entertaining throughout. The quality of the champagne wasn t the best in my opinion, but I drunk it since it was paid for. The ride seemed super short. I believe it s advertised as 30 minutes long no way! Either way, it was a good experience and I m glad I did it.

Great place to attend ad well as friends staff. The atmosphere is great and very vibrant and welcoming. I recommend you to attend and enjoy your day. Check for traffic and road closures as it can get different to navigate due to traffic.

It is definitely worth it to go to London eye. The view from the top is awesome. We were there when ot was getting dark and it was nice to see how street lights were igniting. The price is a bit high but this can be accepted time to time.

Not too bad, obviously try and go on clear day otherwise your view will be obstructed by mist or clouds. Queue is long as it is a popular attraction but is highly worth it when you get to the top and see the views!

A must see.. it's not only about getting on and try it or taking photos with it in the background..it's about the atmosphere around it. its like a carnaval or a festival. the walk beside on the the Thames river is amazing in the morning, the afternoon or at night.. really charming and romantic. beside that you'll find many restaurants there to enjoy a good meal with the river view. just for info the ride takes about 30 mins.

Great on a clear day. Go around sunset but you have to expect a 2-3 hour line so you have to time it a bit. Well worth it. You dont feel any fear once you are on it. You are completely closed in and it holds about 10 or 12 people.

My wife, our younger daughter and I took the family ride on Sunday afternoon Sept 15, 2019.

Firstly, I must start by thanking the staff. My wife is terrified of heights but wanted to experience the eye. The staff stopped the eye, normally only done for disabled users, and kept is still for about 2 mins while they settled her in and explained how safe it was.

After the initial fear she went on to ride again the following day with the kids and really enjoyed it.

The views are amazing and I would highly recommend it to any who may have previously thought they can't do it. Give it a go.

What a view.. simply amazing.

What a view.. simply amazing.
The wait time to get on boarded is long but given the crowd its justifiable. The fast track should be given for seniors as a default without extra charge or atleast a room for them to sit somewhere than waiting in the line for long. Otherwise once onboarded the views are mesmerizing

One of the best ways to see London! I thought it was amazing. Although if I have the opportunity of going back I will go first thing in the morning (only if the sky is very blue). I went in the afternoon and the position of the sun makes a reflection in the glass that doesn't allow you to take the best pictures. And even as much as I like the view from The Eye I felt in love with the view from the top of Saint Paul's cathedral and the experience of claiming to the top.

The London Eye (Millennium Wheel) opened in December 1999 and to the general public in February 2000. 443 ft high it takes 30 minutes for a full rotation. It has 32 capsules (one for each of the city's boroughs). I walk by this beautiful piece of art every day going to class at Kings College London.

Smooth operation getting onto the capsule. Everybody dives for a seat. Best bet. Hi straight to the end of the pod. Uninterrupted views. The guide is well worth it to point out the best landmarks.
Wonderful trip and would certainly do it again.

30 minutes turn during which you can take some of the best pictures of London. I took the trip during different periods, each one is a single experience. The staff manages very well the long queue. Take the London Pass and get the fast track.

I would like to thank the staff that were working on the London eye on Sunday 6th September 2020, I attended with my daughter for her 9th birthday, as she had never been before and was quiet scared to the point where she was crying and your team were amazing with her and even stopped the ride so she could walk around the capsule to see weather or not she would like to go on the ride she unfortunately did not want to round but your customer service was amazing and I can not thank you all enough

Great place to go & see the sights of London. From the top of the eye. Friendly staff. U can also get fast track which means u have less time queuing to get on the eye. Bit pricey but worth the time. Just a few minutes away from parliament and big Ben.

The queues look huge, but they are managed very well and don't take long at all. Half an hour is a good amount of time to be on this attraction too and goes quicker than you think as there is a lot to look at from way up there. We enjoyed this thoroughly.
