The View is Amazing, the experience is worth waiting for, you get to see round the city from the roof tops. You barely feel the movement as it turns. Plenty room to move round and get pictures.

Definitely a great way to view the city! And it definitely is the right amount of time to soak it all up. I highly recommend the extra money to get the fast pass as the line gets very long!

Well managed. The free 4D experience included with every ticket was of good standard as well. Even on a rainy day the views were breathtaking. Queues seemed to be shorter at about 7-7:30pm compared to after and before that time.

I loved it! The view from up there shows you a big chunk of London. The queue might be abit of an inconvenience but you can pay executive tickets which don't have crazy queues. Haha a tip when yiu are inside. When the ride is almost over, they take pictures while you are inside. Please look at the floor where its written "pics here" and face outside the glass! You can thank me later

The London Eye is iconic and very cool. I very much enjoyed the ride around. It goes pretty slow and takes about half an hour which is nice because you get to see unobstructed views from each side of the Ferris wheel. The ticket comes with More

It truly is one of the most magnificent man made structure. A wise option is to club the eye with the river cruise and make the entire experience wholesome. Take the best possible camera with you, it is worth it.

32 pods in this Ferris wheel. Close proximity to the Westminster palace (parliament) and Big Ben. Other side is the 10 Downing Street.
This wheel goes very slow and people have opportunity to take pictures overlooking London. Mostly it is the west side of London including Buckingham palace.
You can take amazing picture.

I'm a born and bred Londoner, but this was the first time I'd been to the tourist mecca of the London Eye.

We did the 2-for-1 train deal which kept the cost down to a more reasonable level and at that price, it was well worth the money.

The 'flight' is very smooth and takes 30 minutes. The views are fabulous. There's plenty of opportunity to move round the pod and I was happy to find out there was no ongoing running commentary.

A must go place while you're in London. The view from the top of london eye is amazing.
If you're on a hurry to visit other places or if you dont want to spend much time waiting to get in, I would really recommend for you to acquire the fast track ticket, since depending on which time of the year you visit the London Eye, it will be crowded and the regular entry queue might be long, (I went to the London Eye near the end year holidays. And trust me, the regular queue was waaaay too long and it would easily take more than one for me to get in, but with the fast track ticket it took less than 20 minutes of wait).

Very cool 30 min ride. We purchased the fast track and were able to board without any waiting. Was at least a 45 min line else wise.

Would recommend for small groups that want to get a great view.

Lovely views and extremely exciting! Went to London twice and took a London eye each time. It is worth the money. Highly recommended. One of my favourite things to do in London. Everyone in our group loved it.

Fun way to see the city. It s not a death defying ride, even if you re scared of heights there is seating in the middle of the pod so you re not near the windows. Recommend for all ages. Check the lines before you purchase the tickets. The extra $10 pounds to have a anytime fast path was a great option for us. The queue was 70-85 minutes without it, our queue was less than 5 minutes.

It's a great way to see the whole of London. The covid protocols are very thorough and there are less people in a pod at the moment so you're sure to get a great view. Very well run and spectacular views. Definitely one for the tourist trail.

Fun to check out the London skyline and see Big Ben, Westminster Bridge and Hall, Houses of Parliament and River Thames all from an incredible vantage point.

Line ups can be very long so if you want to speed things up, pay a little more for the Fast Track service and you'll go on the next available ride. If you're afraid of heights, this isn't your typical Ferris Wheel so you feel a lot more secure all while getting great views of the heart of London.

Worth checking out, if only for the great photos you'll get! If you see the 4D film experience, they spray bubbles and foam as part of it so protect anything nice! Not my cup of tea but lots of kids seemed to like it!

If you are in London and want some amazing views of the city there are several places to do so, this is one of them. We had a lovely time going on The Eye. We went around 5pm on a Sunday and it was not that crowded, line moved very quickly and our carriage was not crowded. We got lucky that the weather was great and we could see all over the city. If you decide to do another thing to see the city, climb up St Paul s which is a very hard climb) or go up in the Chard, you will get the same basic views.

Such a beautiful place to visit in London. The London eye gives you a beautiful aerial view of London. There's enough subway and buses to reach here. There's also options to advance book tickets through online. Must visit destination in London.

I don't like heights.... at all.
But the promise of a good view was too hard to pass up.
So I put my fears aside and entered the capsule.
I wasn't disappointed. London is simply beautiful.
And now I may actually no longer be fearful of heights!
This is a must if you visit London.

A bucket list must! We were lucky enough not to have to que for too long. The sweeping views of London are just amazing, even though the weather was decidedly British. Such and awesome experience! A must when you visit London!!!

London eye . I never felt the need to go there but friend of mine bought tickets so I did. I am glad actually because experience was nice and I had great time. I dont know how long people usually wait in line if they dont have fast track ticket but we had normal one and waited maybe 15 minutes only. It goes very quickly so dont spend your money for fast track. The view is great if there is a good weather . However , before I went to london eye I went to the Shard and that broke a little my experience with London Eye. I do recommend it . It was good fun .

A great spot to see the whole city from high. It was an ok activity for someone visiting London for the first time. The price is high I think and the long waiting lines can be the tricky part.

A good spot for the sightseeings. Weather is important, if it's raining, there is a chance for not seeing very clear what's around.
The line for entrance wasn't crowded, so, in about 10 minutes we were inside the capsule (around 18 hours). During the line staying there is a spot where people can take a photo shot, and, on the way out, in the souvenirs store this photo can be bought, with a nice presentation booklet, for about 25 pounds, if I remember correctly.
Better to buy tickets online for a better rate, combined or not with other fares.

Very good, great, wonderful, excellent, beautiful, I loved this place. It is one of the most amazing places I have ever encountered in my life. I wish I could come back soon, thank you so much for knowing, I miss you already. I want to go back soon.

So you heard about it right, very famous and iconic place in the world.
I visited here during September and weather was very good, Ticket per person was 28 pound and got it from counter, although you can buy it online as per your time of visit. Main and only problem wad crowd I have to wait more then hour before get in to capsule. Staff was very helpful. They will capture your photo before you go into capsule and later on they will edit your self on top of wheel you can see thoes and buy if you want when you finished your ride. Ride will take 30 minutes to complete one circle, during you can enjoy all 360 degree view of London.

Little suggestion: spend less time taking photos and more time enjoy the view because by the time you realize you spend all your time taking photos and you missed the beautiful view of the city.

Had booked in advance so didn't queue for more than 15 minutes to get on to the main ramp up to the pods. Another 10.minutes after that and we were on.

Great views on a clear winters day. 25 mins of going around was long enough to see London but not so long as to bore the kids

One.piece of advice; try the 4D cinema after in the main building (next door to county hall). Virtually no queue there but well worth a look.

Amazing experience. Its a must go place if you are visiting London.
Early morning or during sunset is the best time to go.
It is always very busy hence u must plan ur day and be ready for a queue which is as long as 1 hour plus.
Unless you buy fast track and skip the line.
But its highly recommended place to go to.

This is a slow-moving cantilevered Ferris wheel which offers a bird's eye view of the city of London. Just hop in and lay your eyes upon the River Thames, the Big Ben, and the Parliament. There is a 4D show here which is a nice addition. Washrooms are available. Avoid on weekends and holidays as it gets crowded.

Very close to WaterLoo station and most of the other attractions it takes a full 30 minutes to go around once and is high enough to see all the wonderful buildings of London including; Big Ben, Houses Of Parliament, Buckingham palace, The Shard, river Thames and lots more it has 2 amazing photo opportunities as well as what ever you take at the top. The queues can get quite big so fastrack would be recommended and the price is quite expensive other than that it's a good attraction to go on and is well worth the wait.

Beautiful but way to much people. Waiting times are extremely long. Fast pass is mandatory. At night the views are superb, cost between 30 and 40 pounds depending on where you buy it...

The line to go on the eye even when pre booked in summer time is huge....but it moves along swiftly.

You get a fantastic view over London and puts everything into a geographical map you can relate too

Very pleasant experience and they were very attentive to cleaning the pods. This made us feel very safe and we had a pod to ourselves so maximum social distancing! Very happy with this experience and would definitely recommend!

We loved the whole of the South Bank area.

We loved the whole of the South Bank area.
Great for families.
With the aquarium, Jubilee Gardens and the Thames cruises all very accessible from this area.
Street vendors and performers, a lovely outdoor playscape, there was so many exciting things to discover.
We didn t feel it was overpriced at all and we are keen to return!

The London Eye, or the Millennium Wheel, is a cantilevered observation wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. It is Europe's tallest cantilevered observation wheel, and is the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom with over 3.75 million visitors annually, and has made many appearances in popular culture.

The structure is 135 metres (443 ft) tall and the wheel has a diameter of 120 metres (394 ft). When it opened to the public in 2000 it was the world's tallest Ferris wheel. Its height was surpassed by the 160-metre (525 ft) Star of Nanchang in 2006, the 165-metre (541 ft) Singapore Flyer in 2008, and the 167-metre-tall (547.9 ft) High Roller (Las Vegas) in 2014. Supported by an A-frame on one side only, unlike the taller Nanchang and Singapore wheels, the Eye is described by its operators as "the world's tallest cantilevered observation wheel".

The London Eye used to offer the highest public viewing point in London[13] until it was superseded by the 245-metre-high (804 ft) observation deck on the 72nd floor of The Shard, which opened to the public on 1 February 2013.

The London Eye adjoins the western end of Jubilee Gardens (previously the site of the former Dome of Discovery), on the South Bank of the River Thames between Westminster Bridge and Hungerford Bridge beside County Hall, in the London Borough of Lambeth

Great view on good days. Closed cells, very clean. They don't cramp too many people, maybe 10, which is plenty room.
Every revolution is about 30 minutes and you have a lot of time to admire the view of London from the air.

This thing is extremely bad organized! If we count all three lines together (!) we had to wait between 2 or 2 1/2 hours to get in there, even though we have the London Explorer card! And then we had to wake our baby and fold the buggy (it's actually quite small) for no reason to get in this capsule. The next 15 minutes were nice, as expected, but we couldn't really see anything because the baby was upset. NEVER ever again!!

London Eye is a major tourist attraction in Central London and offers stunning views of the City. It stands 135m high in a fairly flat city, the London Eye affords views 25 miles in every direction, weather permitting. The interactive tablets provide great information (in six languages) about landmarks as they appear in the skyline. Each rotation or 'flight' takes a gracefully slow 30 minutes. At peak times (July, August and school holidays) it can feel like you'll spend more time in the queue than in the capsule; book premium fast-track tickets to jump the line.

Amazing views from the top of the London Eye this morning. I was bloody terrified, tried to back away even but the lovely security guard was very comforting. The que was long but went quickly. I was very impressed and comforted with the thorough security checks. From someone who is petrified of heights, it is a lovely smooth ride. You barely know you are moving. It was breath taking and i would do it all over again!

Really enjoyed the London eye as a one-off activity. Fabulous views! Weekday day times during september were so fast there was no need to pay extra for the fast pass. Suitable for all ages and abilities.
