Speed bost thrill on thames. Goes from london eye. Not to be missed.
Speed bost thrill on thames. Goes from london eye. Not to be missed.
Good panoramic view of the London city, loved how big the ride was and gives you enough time to cover all the beautiful views the city has to offer. It also has places around to chill and take good pictures.
Great view whilst going on an enclosed Ferris wheel.
Beautiful infrastructure in the heart of London. Must see for all visiting London.
Social distancing is ignored and not encouraged when queuing. Mask wearing within the pods is also not encouraged or enforced as people remove them once they have boarded. If you are considered vulnerable or live with a vulnerable person or child and need to avoid Covid-19 this is one London attraction you may wish to avoid.
Great place to visit and see the views of london, closed now due to COVID19 but when it is open it is definitely worth a visit
Amazing views of London and a great experience however the ride is quite short for the amount you pay. Not one of my favorites I have to say!
A definite brilliant place to visit. A great view and great staff, queues never too long. Brilliant!
Its huge and very scary once you are on, on a fine sunny day you can see for kilometres in every direction, the pods are not overcrowded but the queue will take you about an hour to get on. The views were amazing. You can see lots of little details around and the river curving off at either sides.
The most famous London eye situated at the bank of river Thames is the must visit place and enjoy the view of london and river Thames from stading in the top of the london eye. The view from here is mesmering you will be overwhelmed looking all around standing in the compartment of this London eye swing, You need to prebook either online or offline as their is long queue for this. Soo definitely visit this Swing with your group of family or friends
Wonderful experience and the view from up there was amazing! However, a bit expensive if you want to get your pictures printed. #londoneye
Nice place to enjoy a view of the centre London, the trip is around 40 minutes. I enjoyed but nothing expecial, honestly I prefered the view from the Shard. Remember too book your time once you get your ticket!
Built as part of the year 2000 millennium celebrations, the London Eye seems to have captured the imagination of visitors to London. It is now one the most popular attractions of all. Essentially the proposition is a very simple one. Ride a giant big wheel 135 metres high taking 30 minutes to travel one revolution.
The London Eye is situated right at the tourist heart of London, (opposite Big Ben by the River Thames) with commanding views, (25 miles on a good day).
The attraction was originally sponsored by British Airways, so rides are called flights. The Eye is besides the River Thames on the opposite bank to Big Ben. Nowadays the sponsor is Lastminute.com.
You ride in a luxurious capsule in comfort; each capsule is fully air-conditioned to keep its visitors completely comfortable no matter what the temperature outside. Each capsule also rotates on a special device designed to keep everyone upright as the wheel makes a slow but progressive revolution.
Beautiful place lots to see and do. Lots nice little shops.
It's a beautiful place, the river, the mountains all things it's so nice to visit
Singapore Flyer & London Eye are same. So if you have been to Singapore, no regret. However if you want to see London & beauty of river Thames its compulsory to sit in London Eye
Amazing location with great views. Head down under the eye and take some amazing pictures. There is a fee to take a ride on the eye but it's definitely worth it. The view is amazing up there.
Good to tick ot off the bucket list.
Nice view.
Recommend the express fast lane ticket.
London visit can not be completed without London eye!! Must try, just find a sunny day, buy your ticket and go do it. We clubbed cruise tour with London eye through their website. You get to see 360 view from that capsule! Completely safe for you and kids, if you are scared of heights. Total round takes approx half an hour, usually busy, but take cruise tour first if lines are heavy, that s what we did & by the time we came back, there weren t many people.
Larger than life. It's huge, it's bold, but it's in the best imaginable location for a birds eye view of London.
This is a true London experience. For a relaxing 30 minutes you are silently transported to a top height of 443'.
I really enjoyed this trip. The view is amazing and totally worth the price. Although this is a totally touristy destination I think anyone would find this enjoyable. It was a bit rainy during my visit but this didn't change the experience. The capsules are heated and cooled making the space very comfortable. It should be noted that you need to use the restroom prior to departure as there are of course no facilities once on-board.
V good view from top and spectacular Ferris wheel I suggest you check this out!!
The London Eye, also named the Millennium Wheel, can be found at the n the South Bank of the River Thames. It's 135 metres high and offers incredible 360-degree views of London. Not cheap but really worthwhile.
One of the most interesting tourist destinations in London...close to Big Ban. One of the icons of the London City.
We went there around 11:45 on a February day. The line was extremely fast, the staff was friendly and helpful and buying the tickets was easy.
The ride is smooth and you can expect a beautiful view.
I would say that this is a unique landmark of London. It gives you the chance to enjoy the magnificent view of the whole city of London. Be prepared to have to wait in line for long time. It costs around 30 which is not by any means cheap but the experience is very rewarding. It takes about half an hour to complete a full circle and the maximum height is around 135 m.
While the London Eye certainly offers great 360 degree views over London, the steep price tag of 30 GBP is not really justified for the 30-minute ride.
On the positive side they limit the number of passengers per gondola to an acceptable amount and the queues are actually moving faster than you might think at first.
I was a bit sceptic, but after many visits in London decided to check this attraction. Must say that The panoramic view is excellent. I was impressed. It is worth the money, but best is to buy a pass for several attractions in advance. Best through website. Than one may save over 50% of the total amount.
Book your tickets way in advance on their website. They offer discounts sometimes so it's worth checking that out. This was my second visit to the London eye (the first one was marred with a gloomy afternoon sky) at night. The night time view is spectacular. Big Ben was getting renovated, so that looked the ugliest of all sights from above. The ticket says it's a 30 minute ride, but it definitely wasn't and it ended up being 20 minutes. Visited in November 2018.
The eye is brilliant. The most amazing views of the city, an efficient queuing system and the "pods" are spacious. Do avoid if you have claustrophobia or fear of heights though! Only thing preventing 5 stars is the excessive cost.
Really cool if you don't mind tourist hotspots and long lines
Been on this London eye once and it is a great experience for one time. Do not think I will ride again due to the costs and wait times. The amount of people in one pod are fine, I would have expected that we would cram as much people in a pod but they didn't which was a nice surprise. The view from this thing is great and if you have social people in the pod there is enough time (about 30 minutes) to enjoy the view in all directions.
One of my dream come true when I go at London Eye view of the one of the most beautiful city in the world just incredible and I am very satisfied with the amazing experience that I have ever been explain so if you want to be a on world to that place for be in your bucket list always I uploaded my old photo collection of London city hope you enjoy thank you
The ride was great, a nice view, but the queue was a little long. Worth it in the end.
The view and the location of the place is amazing. You will not enjoy the boarding london eye and spending more than 30min in glass egg but spending evening for seating late night is amzing experience
Very nice experience. If you wish to go, prefer the fast track ticket or VIP ticket. Also our host Sadie was a real proffessional. We enjoyed a lot
Really cool experience to see London from the eye. Awesome view and everyone can try it. There are benches you can sit on while you take in the atmosphere. If you are affraid of heights, you might want to cinsider staying on the benches, since you can see straight down.
But go see for yourself, its definately worth it.
Definitely an attraction worth visiting. Staff are friendly and welcoming. You do have to wear a mask, but not many people in a pod, so quite easy to social distance. Takes around 30 minutes to go round. The views are just amazing and you can see so much of all the famous landmarks. Good for the houses of Parliament, Buckingham Palace, St Paul's and the Shard.
It's good and a must do for a visit to London. Best to buy ahead of time online, eg the two for one offer from the good days out guide. My younger son, four years, thought it was a bit boring but the seven year old liked it.
Piece of Art Structure, A must visit if you in the town.
Tickets are a little cheaper if you buy it online a day before ( if you buy online for same day, it would be same price ).
Drinks can be bought while you in the queue and bot expensive at all considering the Location.
Pictures are bit pricey to buy though.
Smashing views , experience of a life time.
Really cool to do, come with your own map of the city to understand what you are looking at. Very good deal with national rail as you have the offer 2 for 1.
A perfect view of the amazing and beautiful city from the top; gives you enough time to enjoy the view, take enough photos and relax
I love the London eye. It is a little scary but fun. Make sure to get a fast pass ticket so you can skip the line. Without a fast pass you can wait for a long time.
I think seeing London during evening/night it's truly special. I was lucky to go at the right time and saw half of the ride during day and half during night - it gets dark fast @ winter . It was cold outside and @4:30pm the queue was pretty much nonexistent, waited less than 10 min.
(Sorry it looks like it's day/evening in my photos but it was really dark outside )
Always in my top 10 list in London. It's always better to buy a ticket online (they're little flexible with the time slot you choose) queues are long but at the end it's definitely worth it.
Great experience visited London and took a Champagne Experience ride. The guide was very knowledgeable and made the 30 minute ride fun. Would definitely recommend anyone visiting London to take this fast track tour.
Great place. if you bought your tickets from a bus tour as an add-on you need to redeem them first before the line.
It also comes with a 4D experience which albeit short is great.
London sight seeing isn't complete without having a full circle of giant wheel. Amazing experience full view of london at the top. This birds eye view is unique. You'll find some of the fine photos if you'll browse here. Thanks for visiting
Best experience. It feel so amazing being in there in Capsule enjoying the whole view of London city.
London Eye which is now maintained by coca cola now as i was informed by the guide . Please plan before in hand as it is quite rushed all the time ! This is the one amongst the must visit places in London! The staff working over here friendly and for my surprise tgey even know hindi
I can't let my fear of heights or the unruly children in our pod affect my review of this amazing experience. I can also recommend pre-booking with the express pass - all very easy. I can only add, parents control your children!
One of few tourist attractions where I felt it was worth the time. Great views and an appropriate duration. We did the VIP experience and I would say it is worth it for the price, mainly because you get to skip the line.
We did get on this visit as we did on our last visit to London and only had one day to visit so many other places. But, afterwards - I wished we had
Highly recommended as the views are amazing
Very good trip, 30 minutes who goes fast but really good view !
Try the champagne experience!
With the experience that we purchased we had a glass of champagne, champagne cocktail or beer in the VIP lounge, fast track tickets for the eye and a glass of champagne whilst we were on the eye. Definitely worth it!
The drinks were really nice and the fact that you got to skip the queues was great. The rotation on the eye was everything you'd expect. Great views of London and some excellent photo opportunities as you go round.
Very cool! You've seen it in movies, but it does but compare to the real thing. You go up so high that you can see the whole city. The ride is very smooth and the seating area are big enough to hold 15-20 people. It has air-conditioning and heating so it stays nicer inside. It was raining a little so you have to be quick to take pictures, but a must see for sure. It is wheelchair accessible allowing anyone to visit. They're is a visitor center, gift shop, and dining on-site. You can pay extra to board in the fast track line
My rating system consists of a 3-star being exactly what you expected and neither good nor bad. A 4 means something was extra special and a 5 means you were blown away. A 2 star rating was disappointing and a 1-star rating is terrible
Very good place to visit, cheaper when bought with the London eye ticket, all the statues are really nice, the cab ride of the spirit of London and the 4D marvel hero show was amazing. The Sherlock Holmes section was not well directed to. I couldn't find it. Overall very good and worth the money
The perfect place for a beautiful Photo of London. Extremely expensive but worth doing it. I will highly recommend the fast track if you to save yourself 2 hours cue and wasting time in the cold winter. The area offers great attractions, the children love the adventure and this is within the Top 10 (YOU MUST VISIT) The London Eye is one of the best London's iconic attractions.
Very good views but I wouldn't say necessarily better than some of the other viewpoints in the city. The line moves fast so that's a plus. The windows were quite dirty, making for not so great pictures. Cars are very crowded. Still, a very cool way to get some unique views of the city.
this is not just a tourist trap! it really is an amazing view and i think everyone should come to look at it! there was a long line, but it moves rather quickly. i recommend getting in line an hour before your scheduled time if there is a long line. the capsule was very spacious, with lots of area to take pictures. you have plenty of time to do what you want, there is even seating! i don t know why anyone would not like this experience.
Not very exciting but a must visit if it s your first time to London.
Very attractive place in London. Must visit every one and must ride on it.
It moves very slowly and complete it's rotation in 27 minutes.
We had a great 'flight' on the London Eye!
It takes around an hour to do the full revolution but when you get to the top the view is stunning!
If you are touristing it up in London, this attraction is highly recommended.
Great ride for a beautiful London view. I Recommend fast track tickets bought in advance to save money and time.
I'm not usually good with heights but i braved the london eye and loved it. The views are fantastic. Would love to go on in the evening next time
Must see during your visit to London. Unbeatable and unforgettable views. Staff was very friendly and helpful. This place is very popular so it may be crowded sometimes.
It s the London eye, not the Coca Cola London eye.
No need to get the fast track tickets during the low season. It s an easy way to see the city from a great vantage point. I tried the binoculars they sell there and they were not any better than the bare eye, so save your money.
The London Eye is a cantilevered observation wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. It is Europe's tallest cantilevered observation wheel,[10] and is the most popular paid tourist attraction in the United Kingdom with over 3.75 million visitors annually,[11] and has made many appearances in popular culture.
Birthday gift for my partner, loved seeing london from this view, paid for fast track and definitely recommend
I've lived in London for 10 years, and even though this is a real tourist hot-spot, I can't recommend it enough. Highly recommend pre-booking and doing the VIP experience. It's not so much more money, you skip the queue, and get champagne!
Oh, and the view is stunning
Impressive.Massive queue to get in so in case of visit, allow half a day
This place doesn't need a reason. It's an icon that has defined London over the years and stands tall as a beauty!
One place where you will be able to cover the entire London , with just walking around a small container. You get to see max of Thames, Waterloo bridge, big Ben, kings college etc.. not sure why it's being branded by coca cola. And the city pass is best and most cost effective to make your trip on this.
Its a must place to see. One must experience the wheel. The total trip is for 30 minutes. Best time to visit is during sunset. Its really crowded, so better book your tickets online in advance.
The view is amazing and breathtaking. You can see the beauty of London city and you have full 30 minutes to capture those moments.
Amazing experience with brilliant views of central London
The eye is the one which comes to everyone's mind when you think of London. London eye is the best in London. The place is a must visit place for all the visitors. It's just worth once in a lifetime experience. You'll enjoy the scenic view from the top. In the eye in each compartment there is a space for 35-45 people which can enter and enjoy the 30-40 mins of there time in an eye. There is nothing much other than a good view so I would say one time experience is good. When I went it was raining so can see a lot of drops on the glass window. But still there was a lot of crowd and everyone was enjoying London eye. Good to go once and don't forget to like this review :)
One way system in place. Hand sanitisers all around. Friendly staff. River cruise was fantastic. Tour guide Sheera was awesome. Very educational and entertaining!
It is good, amazing views, but DO NOT go here during COVID19 as no one is wearing face masks or social distancing.
The best thing I experienced in London! No words to describe the feelings. You should definitely try it!
Excellent a night time. Lots to see and a spectacular place
Best to take pics at night ! Iconic locations and lovely place to walk about
it is worth the cost of paying the price which may seem very expensive but the view of the city is sublime and we have a great time. you can see Big Ben and the Thames and take wonderful pictures. The Ferris wheel goes very slowly and is not scary which is perfect for all tourists who want to contemplate the beautiful city of London from a little height
Great attraction. Friendly staff. Clean facilities. Obvious queues at weekend. Stunning views. Great setting near the river. Prices in line with a major tourist attraction
Great view from the sky. London is the one of few cities in the world that has picture perfect view in every angle.
I went on a week day and there was no queue. There wind up being only four people in my pod. It was a lovely ride with amazing views! The staff are also really sweet and energetic. It s very expensive, but I think I would recommend it just for the impressive experience. Make sure you look at the other pods for a moment as you are reaching the top it s surreal!
We had the champagne experience so when we got on the London eye we popped open a bottle and let the celebrations begin. It was good because the sun was out and you could see the whole of London.
One of the best ways to see the city. Buy the fast pass before you go and you ll fly through the ticket line and the 4D experience and the line for the eye itself. Amazing views and great staff with tons of info. The gift shop has some super unique and fun items as well. Close to the aquarium which is discounted if you buy tickets at the eye for it. Ride takes about 30 minutes to go all the way around once. Go on a sunny day for amazing pictures and also better view
Very nice, just choose the right day, you don't want a rainy day
