Lovely place staff are excellent and extremely helpful
Loved it here! Brilliant zoo with plenty to See and do. Very reasonable prices too.
Lovely place the food is really good and very reasonably priced loved the new gorilla area
Great place, although the restaurant was jam-packed. Otherwise perfect.
Fabulous day, the children thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
Excellent zoo, with plenty to do, keepers who are genuinely passionate about the work they do, and answer any questions you have. Fun for kids and adults, and the exhibits are fairly interactive, enough to keep you busy for 5-6 hours.
Very few animals to see. Tanks decidedly dirty. Definitely not value for money. Shame it used to be so good
Plenty of interaction with all sorts of creatures, including hourly meets with, amongst others, mega bugs! Can be enjoyed in all weathers as about 80% is inside and there are loads of well informed volunteers to chat to and learn from. The walkthroughs for birds and butterflies are amazing, with the butterflies happy to land on you for a rest.
This was amazing outing and lots of anmails were awake and to see people can feed them x
A great place for the whole family I recommend this zoo
Amazing place for the whole family. The staff were extremely polite and helpful, having three young children under eight with one child having ASD and the youngest hyper-mobile the couldn't do enough. The entire park is easy to navigate and there is always something to see or do there. Absolutely brilliant day out.
It is super well organized, it is all asphalt, which, here, is appreciated. The animals look super good and have plenty of field for picnic and even covered area. Complete and fun to entertain you all day as a family. We love
Too much was closed off, animals didn't look very happy
Overpriced. Most of the enclosures are either filthy or empty
They have Lions but no Tigers? What zoo does That? There supposed to have Lions, but you never see them. Not a great time out. Good gift shop though!
I love it here, greatly improved over 50 years, although I do miss some of the old stuff.
Although Bristol Zoo has a marvelous facility and specialist enclosures for a variety of animas (a definite plus). I was disappointed not to see some classic mainstay's of many a zoo; the Elephants and the Giraffes in particular.
There is impressive plant life at the zoo too which will please. The butterfly enclosure is a must see, the seal and penguin coast too as well as the reptile house.
Staff were informative and showed a real desire to interact with the guests.
These place is really nice. Animals we'll take cared. The staff are nice.
Your children will be as happy as you are, So i guess it comes down to how much enjoyment you get from from watching incarcerated animals live out their life sentences. It felt like an expensive prison visit, i just hope the money truly helps some other animals (not humans!), as advertised.
Haven't actually been in years, but I believe it's very popular.
Amazing day out for kids....can be expensive ....take a packed lunch
Great fun for kids. Lots of animals and activities for all ages.
Lovely day out with the family. Indoor areas for poor weather but most attractions outdoors. Knowledgeable staff and plenty of opportunity to learn. Picnic area has been removed so bring a blanket if you have a picnic. Now replaced with a restaurant style area with indoor seating only. Parking is limited, get there early on good weather days.
It's ok if you want to pay a bit of money of a cupple of hours!!!
A great place, lots of conservation projects and everything very well looking after. Plenty there for kids entertainment and education. Use the park and ride but allow extra time.
Great zoo, small in area but very cleverly laid out to fit in plenty of animals. Animals look happy throughout. Especially loved the reptile area and the giant tortoises. Pretty good value too, could easily spend a long half day, maybe a whole day if you have kids.
Great place to spend the whole day, took my grandson yesterday and we had a wonderful time. Lots to see and do & friendly & knowledgeable staff. We will go back again soon.
Could have spent all day here rather than just the few hours we had spare. Great place to take the children/grandchildren
Probably should have tighter control with fences and stuff because I saw lots of trapped animals
"I liked the lions, because the older one had fluff round their neck" didn't know what to expect as the site looked small but was pleasantly surprised when we spent all day there, well worth it.
Great even in the rain :) loved the pygmy hippo <3 food a little hit and miss.
Amazing zoo! Fair fares, beautiful animals, and modern zoo. We spent about 3,5 hours in here. I do find it interesting that there is a giraffe and elephant on the banners when there are none, but, all well!
Arrived at the zoo to find there was an additional cost to park. Socially distancing measures were in place which were probably the only good thing about the place. Very few "zoo" animals, great place if you love birds! Lots of lego statues of different animals which dont get me wrong were fantastically done but if i had wanted to see this type of thing i would of headed to legoland not a zoo!! Waste of money very outdated place. Do not reccomend left very dissapointed especially after driving 1.5 hours for what we had hoped to of been a good day.
Had a great day out would have loved to have seen more animals
Absolutely love the twilight evenings they do in the summer, amazing value and lots to do. Its good to see the animals at a different time of day with their routines etc. The seals are a firm favourite and put on a fantastic show.
Value for money lots of different animals polite staff
Always like coming to Bristol Zoo. They do good work in a small space.
Really nice area to walk around with plenty of animals to look at~
Bit rubbish really . I knew there wasnt many bird animals but the small animal enclosures were not up to scratch . Boring
Enjoyed the animals and place just not the food at the restraunt
A great day out for the kids, & adults, lovely cafe/restaurant, spend a whole day here
Nice variety of animals. You are also given lecture on certain animals
During the winter months there isn't much to do which is understandable but there should try and add more things
Lovely well laid out zoo...the kids loved it..it is everything a zoo should be...to see animals up close and interact with them..the smell the relative size...the noise all help children to understand that these are living things ...with agendas...needs...just as like us...but have different places in the evolutionary scale...monkeys and seals are different...but they share an agenda....
Nice place lots to see and do. Good day out young or old.
Great zoo for variety of smaller animals and a few big ones
Great day out brilliant place would reccomend to anyone
Have been a couple times and not overly fussed. The restaurant has a menu full of posh food. Which is a pain in the arse when you have fussy children.
All the animals look well kept and happy.
We love coming here. We got to experience Dino Land this time round. A child got in free too. There were 2 quests for the children to do and they had to find them.
Plenty of animals but the one way system made enjoying a walk around the site very limiting.
Not as much fun for our younger children but I hope it would improve if we decide to go back.
Loved it! Wasn't sure when arrived as it looked so small. But it was amazing!!
Very shocked in this day and age they can be allowed to keep lions in a cage that small it was the first thing we saw when we arrived and they were pacing the cage. The more modern exhibits were better suited to the needs of the animals but the lions have put us off we won't visit again.
Great zoo! We went on a wet and cold day but still had a blast. Penguins are a must see
Was good but hate seeing the animals locked away, was cold that day.
A member of staff did not scan one of my items and when I got outside I realised it was not there so I went straight back it was at the till but the lady told me I would now have to go to the back of the line which was 10 people long absolutely ridiculous ruined my whole experience
Small zoo but a delight beautifully maintained and good facilities very impressed
We went on a wet day and kids still had an amazing time Take your own food though as the food stands in side are extremely expensive and certainly not worth the money.
Nice small city Zoo, lots of work going on to improve the site at the moment but disruption has been kept to a minimum. The new baby gorilla and hippo are a nice addition.
Quite a small Zoo but still pretty good- not really a whole day out. Nicely kept and laid out all the same.
A small zoo in Bristol amazing hope much they can pack in a small space not so many larger animals as some zoos it took us about 4 hours to see everything.
It's a little small and there is not many animals. Plus it cost a lot
Nice zoo with activities for children. Very welcoming.
Small zoo but enough to keep the kids entertained for an hour or two
Mile sp dzony czas z rodzin
Bez wielkich zwierz t ale i tak polecam
Lovely, clean, well thought out and an incredibly pleasant place to visit. Thoroughly enjoyed our day. We were also impressed by how much conservation work is currently going on at the zoo as well.
Not a good place. Not many animals just a lion and other small animals.
