Excellent zoo, with plenty to do, keepers who are genuinely passionate about the work they do, and answer any questions you have. Fun for kids and adults, and the exhibits are fairly interactive, enough to keep you busy for 5-6 hours.

Plenty of interaction with all sorts of creatures, including hourly meets with, amongst others, mega bugs! Can be enjoyed in all weathers as about 80% is inside and there are loads of well informed volunteers to chat to and learn from. The walkthroughs for birds and butterflies are amazing, with the butterflies happy to land on you for a rest.

Amazing place for the whole family. The staff were extremely polite and helpful, having three young children under eight with one child having ASD and the youngest hyper-mobile the couldn't do enough. The entire park is easy to navigate and there is always something to see or do there. Absolutely brilliant day out.

It is super well organized, it is all asphalt, which, here, is appreciated. The animals look super good and have plenty of field for picnic and even covered area. Complete and fun to entertain you all day as a family. We love

Although Bristol Zoo has a marvelous facility and specialist enclosures for a variety of animas (a definite plus). I was disappointed not to see some classic mainstay's of many a zoo; the Elephants and the Giraffes in particular.

There is impressive plant life at the zoo too which will please. The butterfly enclosure is a must see, the seal and penguin coast too as well as the reptile house.

Staff were informative and showed a real desire to interact with the guests.

Your children will be as happy as you are, So i guess it comes down to how much enjoyment you get from from watching incarcerated animals live out their life sentences. It felt like an expensive prison visit, i just hope the money truly helps some other animals (not humans!), as advertised.

Lovely day out with the family. Indoor areas for poor weather but most attractions outdoors. Knowledgeable staff and plenty of opportunity to learn. Picnic area has been removed so bring a blanket if you have a picnic. Now replaced with a restaurant style area with indoor seating only. Parking is limited, get there early on good weather days.

Great zoo, small in area but very cleverly laid out to fit in plenty of animals. Animals look happy throughout. Especially loved the reptile area and the giant tortoises. Pretty good value too, could easily spend a long half day, maybe a whole day if you have kids.

"I liked the lions, because the older one had fluff round their neck" didn't know what to expect as the site looked small but was pleasantly surprised when we spent all day there, well worth it.

Amazing zoo! Fair fares, beautiful animals, and modern zoo. We spent about 3,5 hours in here. I do find it interesting that there is a giraffe and elephant on the banners when there are none, but, all well!

Arrived at the zoo to find there was an additional cost to park. Socially distancing measures were in place which were probably the only good thing about the place. Very few "zoo" animals, great place if you love birds! Lots of lego statues of different animals which dont get me wrong were fantastically done but if i had wanted to see this type of thing i would of headed to legoland not a zoo!! Waste of money very outdated place. Do not reccomend left very dissapointed especially after driving 1.5 hours for what we had hoped to of been a good day.

Absolutely love the twilight evenings they do in the summer, amazing value and lots to do. Its good to see the animals at a different time of day with their routines etc. The seals are a firm favourite and put on a fantastic show.

Lovely well laid out zoo...the kids loved it..it is everything a zoo should be...to see animals up close and interact with them..the smell the relative size...the noise all help children to understand that these are living things ...with agendas...needs...just as like us...but have different places in the evolutionary scale...monkeys and seals are different...but they share an agenda....

Have been a couple times and not overly fussed. The restaurant has a menu full of posh food. Which is a pain in the arse when you have fussy children.
All the animals look well kept and happy.

Very shocked in this day and age they can be allowed to keep lions in a cage that small it was the first thing we saw when we arrived and they were pacing the cage. The more modern exhibits were better suited to the needs of the animals but the lions have put us off we won't visit again.

Lovely, clean, well thought out and an incredibly pleasant place to visit. Thoroughly enjoyed our day. We were also impressed by how much conservation work is currently going on at the zoo as well.
