We have been standing in line for 37 minutes. There were not many people in line when we got here. it seemed like a reasonable line. Line has barely moved. There is one window open and it is moving extremely slow. They may blame the pandemic but whatever the reason the service is SOOOO slow. There appear to be 2 people working on a Saturday. Coming here was a mistake

One of my favourite things to do is go for a walk with my girls, cross the bridge, and get a tasty little treat! This old faithful is a staple in Winnipeg's ice cream scene is a must visit.

They have some unique specialty items that are interesting. Be prepared to wait for at least 20 minutes in the queue, depending on time of day and weather conditions.

Great price for what you get. Goog special is my fav. If you're a winnipegger you already know this place. Everyone born and breed or here for more than a couple years knows the BDI

Damn so tasty . All of them expect saltberg. But yeah i like them . I would jump from moon to bdi to eat ice cream

People like BDI because of the location and the interesting ice cream combos they offer. It wouldn't be worth it to go and get a plain vanilla cone but anything special would be worth it.

Seems to be a net red ice cream? The taste is sweet, mainly cheap. It should be noted that there will be a lot of people queuing at the weekend, and only one window accepts the card, and the other only accepts cash.

Would never go back again my mango milkshake was so dull! Scoops on Main and Jefferson is way better by far.

Normally I get the Goog, but I decided to mix things up a bit today and tried the Peaches n Cream. Can confirm: it is also delicious!

This is one of Winnipeg's favourite summer places to stop. It is famous for fabulous milk shakes, ice cream cones and sundaes in many flavours. Enjoy a pleasant stroll across the bridge while savouring a delectable treat.

I am not an ice cream fan but this one is phenominal. I tried peanut pecan ice cream and it was so good...want to come back and try other menu iteam

My favourite place in the city to get Ice Cream. It is always just so busy!

Tons of flavours, and all available in shake or sundae form! I wish there was more of them available served hot, like the fudge or caramel, but alas. Reasonably priced as well. A staple of the city, and a must of you've never been! Get it before it's too cold!

Also, pokestops and a gym located on the bridge, if that's your thing.

Finally BDI is open! first visit of this year for a white chocolate dip, was so good. This is my favourite place in winnipeg!

Started in 1957, this is a must try if you like ice cream sundaes, splits, soft serve ice cream and other Summer time treats. A seasonal operation, Bridge Drive-In (BDI) is very busy and after sampling their products, you will understand why. It's that good! Outdoor seating with views of the pedestrian bridge and river is a nice way to enjoy this Winnipeg icon. Be prepared for lineups and cash only.

Been coming here for over 30 years. As soon as they open I am there! Flurries, milkshakes, sundaes all good. Try a specialty they are great! My fav dipped twist with nuts! Go for a walk across the bridge and enjoy the nice homes.

Not a great experience tonight. Salzburg was small and missing Nutella, hot fudge sauce was cold and congealed, sprinkles were very hard and two staff were trying to convince me that I had made a mistake when ordering, rather than just correcting the order. Ice cream is wonderful, but quality control needs to be improved, which I am sure it will be before the end of the season.

Wide variety of unique ice cream options which are all very tasty. There is also a beautiful neighbourhood and bridge to walk in as you enjoy your ice cream!

Still great ice cream since when I was a kid and many many options. They were out of some of their prepared frozen treats, and their menu did not explain what certain ones were, so it was a mystery. Maple walnut sundae is an interesting item they make.

The ice cream is good but don't go if you don't have time to wait as the lineups are often long and the service isn't very fast leading to long wait times (a half hour or longer is not uncommon)

Long line ups in the summer time for BDI. There's a good reason why this place has been around as long as it has and has long lines. Ice cream is just that good! Especially love the goog on a hot summers day. Everyone should check this place out at least once.

A Winnipegger staple. Excellent soft serve ice cream. Cash only.

Stood in line out in the hot sun for literally an hour (16:02 to 17:06). When we finally got to the window, the people before us had ordered, been served, and left, and there was still no one appearing to take our order. It took someone popping a head in the window and asking if anyone was available to take an order for someone to saunter over and nonchalantly ask what we wanted. None of the staff seemed to be working very fast or efficiently. Service was incredibly slow. One employee, after attempting twice to dip a cone in chocolate and failing, asked if we would take it in a cup instead. The food quality was decent, but definitely not worth the hour wait, or the somewhat steep price tag.

Always amazing, maybe a little slow while ordering but I have never been dissappointed by their ice cream! The walk on the bridge is always worth it. I recommend the Salzburg, but anything will be great.

I have never gone to BDI and left unhappy. The Quality is always great and the Ice cream is always Fantastic. If you visit Winnipeg or live in Winnipeg you should definitely go here a MINIMUM of once a year!!!!

They raise the price of their treats yearly, making it expensive and unaffordable. Not worth the drive here. But nice views on the bridge.

It was a little stressful to navigate at first with no parking on site, we parked on the street. I really liked their icecream and the service was ok as well.
