Attempted to get the summer's promotional ice cream cone " cloud 9 " and they are out of it ... you'd think they would take the time put up a sign to say they are out of it, consdering they took the time to put the one sign up to advertise it.

Ordered a banana split. Not even a minute and my order was handed to me. The whipped cream on top was a mess. The banana has turned brown. The sundae was watery. When I returned it, another lady said she s going to make me another one. But the guy who initially handed me the gross banana split was just laughing seeing that I returned my order. That was my first time there and I wasn t impressed at all.

Long lines and the more expensive of choices among Winnipeg ice cream stops, but it tastes so good so its worth it. This place needs to stay open year round. I bring out of town friends out to try their ice cream, its sort of a peg city staple.

Amazing ice cream. A slightly run down shack happens to house some of the best and most creative ice cream creations in Winnipeg. Line ups are always long in the summer, but worth the wait. Parking is usually sparse if it is busy, unfortunately. The location is great, so you can enjoy your ice cream on the bridge, and watch the river, or take a walk down the residential streets. Wonderful!

No flavor soft ice cream, soft chocolate & soft ice cream and it wasn't even that hot outside. First time coming bdi this summer kinda disappointed. It was good but moving backwards in my liking.

We enjoy BDI. It s a Winnipeg staple. The ice cream is creamy and they re very inventive with their sundaes and flavours. Their Covid changes are positive, including a line up system, ordering system and you can now purchase cashless. Definitely suggest.

A Winnipeg staple that has more than earned it's stripes. Delicious ice cream always worth the wait followed by the traditional treck across the bridge. Prices are reasonable and staff is always courteous and friendly. The Goog Special and Saltzberg are personal favorites.

Has always been one of my favorite places but this last time was disappointing. Who would think they can't get asimole dipped cone with peanuts right? They handed me a cone that had the chocolate dip dripping off my hand and my whole hand covered. The fact is they were so busy they rushed everything. Family got three peach velvets and one had whipped cream that wasn't really whipped. Just not up to their usual standard. Will still go back because one poor experience out of the many good ones is surely an anomaly at this point.

A Winnipeg institution. Ignore the long lines and frightening parking choices. Go. Walk if you can across the antique bridge from Kingston Row.

Ice cream is simply top end. If you're waiting this long, order a Sundae, a banana split or the famous Goog. Ask someone in line what it is. Or, just get it. You won't be disappointed.

Line up was ridiculous! Barely moved. We waited 20 mins before giving up and going elsewhere. Line was not that long and the real issue was that it wasn't moving. In 20 mins only 2 groups were served. Love the ice cream and am usually quite prepared to wait but not when it's that slow. I don't have all day to feed my ice cream cravings.

This is the most popular Ice cream shop in Jublee road in Winnipeg. In winter you will get this shop close. But from sring you will get this open from 11AM to 10PM. Beside this shop you will see a bridge. I bet you will love to eat ice cream by walking on the bridge.

The BDI is a classic Winnipeg experience, largely about fondly reminiscing about going there with your parents, or sharing that experience with your kids. The setting is really nice. It's not actually the best ice cream in town, but it's a favorite for a lot of folks. The upside down shake is my favorite.
