Walking options are nice but the ice cream ones aren't. Sundaes are a generic soft ice cream with syrup for flavour. A small one is 4-something. Slightly over-priced in my opinion.

Ice Cream is really good, but there is a line,it doesn't take that long but it can be annoying sometimes.

Ice cream didn't seem frozen enough this spring. Hope they fix it.

Great simple menu. Vegan options. If you're not here at least once a month, it's because you're here every week. Of course with the pandemic, expect a long line.

I loved going to BDI since it was super close and it was some of the best ice cream around. But this year (2014) i feel like they changed the recipe for soft ice cream. My cousin also noticed this year that he was not satisfied like before. I ordered two green apple, two black cherry, and a vanilla, almost everyone in my family who had the ice cream was not really satisfied, except for the 2 year old in our family. Not sure if i would recommend.

Always a great time at BDI the ice cream is delicious and the staff are friendly and are always good for a recommendation.

Not sure what they've done to this one time gem of an ice cream place but was not good. Threw out what I bought because not sure what it was.

The cones were nice and big; it was nice to sit on the bench watching the water flowing and enjoying our cones.

Amazing and creative ice cream treats! You aren t doing it justice if you just get a regular cone. The specialty cones are a must try. They may be big but are perfect for sharing. My favorite is the Saltzberg!

I don't get why this place has so much hype. Way too long of a wait for over priced ice cream and you can't even get hard ice cream

Most people in Winnipeg count this as a hot-spot. I don't know why. They serve basic ice cream options, which you can get at every other ice cream place in town. They are also expensive, in temperatures where it matters, they are always super busy, and the "Bridge" of "Bridge Drive-In" is literally 30 feet long. Not much to see, definitely not recommended for the ice cream.

One of the best places to get ice cream in Winnipeg. Very delicious. You won't find these treats anywhere else.

The ice cream is good, but I go for the walk around the neighbourhood while I try to keep my cone from melting all over my hand. Lines are usually long, but if you stick it out there are lots of great options. If you re going for a walk, get something in a bowl.

Great ice cream and there are lots of flavor options for shakes. The peach velvet shake had sliced of fresh peaches and the banana split was really yummy! It is cash only so make sure you have cash when you go and plan to spend some time in line.

Creamy ice cream! Coming here is one of my favorite summer activities. The location is perfect for going on walks across the bridge. Recommend the SALTZBERG!

We use to drive into the city for this ice cream stop. It's nice to see that it's still busy. You can can expect classic flavours and out of this world concoctions to tickle your adventurous side. We definitely will be keeping this place in our list of family favourites. *edit* not our go too but a nice change. We do miss that the JRC flurry bits are gone. Can't really call it a flurry if the only change is just flavour and no texture change. We did have the bday cake this year and last, also the imperial is delicious but just the topping was the texture additive.

Good place for great ice cream. Does not allow use of 2 coupons, hence losing one star.

Price increases from last year are significant and jaw dropping. Guess we are paying for the free ice cream for Health Care workers.

A class ice must visit every summer. Took away a star because they got rid of their flavoured soft serve machine which means no more Blue Goo!

Nice treats but priced a bit high. The Canterberry sundae pictured was an obvious splurge, but the balance of the order was a tad expensive for just plain ol' soft serve. Nice to treat once in a blue moon and the fourth star was just because it's a Winnipeg institution.

Not sure I can really find a fault with this place other than poor location(limited parking and whatnot) Every thing I have tried here has been fantastic(but the Googs a favorite)

2018 and no interact? Dated business ethic. No surrounding ATM machines either. Inconvenient. EDIT: Contrary to the response you've read from below, their staff is apparently not educated through training that said payment option is available as I was told otherwise - long story short, bring cash.

Long long lines during peak hours. Ice cream is reasonably priced, and staff are curtious. Even have a vegan option, which is always out of stock.
