Maybe Brasa had an off day bc the only time I ate there it was just ok. Lots of hype surrounding this establishment but it was a big disappointment :(. Friendly Staff. Nice Atmosphere. Overall I wish it was better!

I've been here two times now and enjoyed the food both times. Highly recommend the Pulled Chicken, Smoked Beef, and Slow Roasted Pork. There is a lot next to the restaurant which often fills up but there is good street parking nearby. This is definitely a good place to find some comfort food staples in Minneapolis.

One of my favorite places to go! Great worker's always kind and eager to please! Always fresh food. As a vegetarian I love having satisfying and fun choices! I could eat here once a week and it would never get old!

So I met a southerner that said they had the best BBQ ever here in Minneapolis... and it was here at Brasa. I would say that the food here is amazing, but it isn't the stereotypical BBQ. The chicken pieces are my favorites and all the sides are wonderful.

The food is excellent but check out your take out order before you leave the parking lot. I was missing a platter and didn t realize it until I was home. Hard to get through on their phones to speak to anyone about it.

I really liked the food here, it was unique and very good and would go back. I had the pulled pork sandwich with chips and asked for a side of their house made buffalo sauce (do it). Just what I needed before a night of drinks!

Very good service, clean place, nice, laid back atmosphere. Diverse crowd of customers. The pineapple ginger ale is a must try even if you don't like ginger. Im not a fan of ginger but this fusion was very good and did not disappoint at all. I enjoyed the slow cooked beef and potato salad. I just wish it had had a little more salt or taste to beef without the sauce. Loved the potato salad texture and consistency of potatoes, again just needed a little more flavor to hold the title of caribbean, creole food. My husband ordered the masa corn cake meal, I liked the bread, cheese and sweet potato, I didn't taste it with the pickled onions. The yellow rice tasted like a box mix and the red beans like refried beans. I'm from the south so I may be a little spoiled in the food department. But I'd go back and eat there. It's worth the money.

Enjoyed a family style dinner and it was super fresh, hot, and tasty. Staff was great, service quick and efficient, and the atmosphere lively! Pleasantly surprised by the bar dessert... an actual chocolate bar!

Brasa is located in Northeast Minneapolis. The restaurant has a garage and during the summer they open it up for beautiful inside and outside seating. I've had their pulled chicken multiple times now and I know I should branch out but it is super good! Highly recommended!

Brasa offers a very urban casual environment that meshed together a hint of excitement with a chic & modern interiors, exuding a aura of elegant coziness. The food was usually well prepared, evidently from scratch usually, but may vary at times. However, its relatively higher price makes it less attractive for me to dine here often, though I will most certainly be willing when the opportunity comes up. Recommend it!~

Flavorful food/Great service

Its my 2nd time coming here and I am never disappointed. I think my 2nd time was actually better than my first. Our server was so friendly and helpful in providing feedback and answerinf our questions so we could make a good decision on what to eat.

The food comes out fast. The food tastes delicious. Lots of flavor. Their Spicy Masa Corn cake is a must order and their pulled meat is always tender and packed with flavor.

A trip to Brasa is always the same in a good way. The staff is friendly, the wait is minimal, the food comes quickly and it's never bad, and the price is reasonable. It's not fancy, the presentation will not win awards, but it's solid. Recommended.

The food was amazing and they are handling covid-19 concerns and regulations very well. Try not to bring large groups right now unless you are willing to split up, but the service was fantastic and I would definitely go again even now.

The collard greens here taste sooooooooo good! And so is their Maza cake and cornbread. You can't go wrong with whatever you order from here, everything is delicious. Their sangria is pretty tasty as well. I didn't really like their homemade lemonade, it was too sweet for me. They have indoor and patio sitting available.

Brasa is my favorite restaurant in the Twin Cities. I've had everything on the menu at least once. I highly recommend the Pulled Chicken, Crispy Yuca w/ Citrus & Garlic, and the cornbread.

Small dining space. Kinda fun if you don't get stuck next to a loud mouth that cannot modulate the volume of his voice? Had the gumbo; it was decent but nothing to brag about. Plenty of shrimp, had to search for the sausage and eggs? They serve Mexican Coke in a bottle and domestic Diet Coke in a can. The gumbo has a bit of heat and having to ration the Coca Cola while eating; not a fan. I have not tried the market price smoked meats. Perhaps that is the gem of this restaurant? Took a bit to get beverages delivered to the table, food was presented very quick after ordering, and the wait staff were all pleasant.

Delicious, delicious, delicious. Our party of two ordered a meat plate and two sides, and it was plenty to eat. My personal favorites are the pulled pork, collard greens, fried yucca, yams and fried plantains, but you really can't go wrong. Even something like iced tea is above and beyond good. Service is almost instant, which is helpful because they're busy!

It was wonderful! The food was amazing and when we got there early, they got our food ready as quickly as can be imagined. The food was packaged so our food was warm after a 25 minute drive home. Thanks for a great dinner!

My husband and I visited here for the first time and left with mixed reviews. The service was superb. The wine was superb. The food was "eh". I had the scallops- not a huge steak eater and didn't have non steak options.

Ordered special for the day. Pork ribs were nice but had too much fat. I normally order single plates but wanted to try out family style meal. I don't know if it was just this time but as I said the pork ribs had too much fat to it and was too greasy for my taste. I would probably go back to ordering regular stuff from the menu.

We had a great experience at Brasa last night! The food was delicious, and there were options for both the vegetarians and omnivores in our party. I loved the rotisserie chicken with black beans and yellow rice, and the side dishes are small but served separately and easy to share. We ordered 3 entrees and 4 sides, which was perfect for 3 people and left room for dessert! The masa cakes were a particular favorite. Their cocktail selection is limited to sangria and mimosas, but they have a nice variety of beer and wine. The patio is lovely and shady, and service was quick and friendly. The whole place has a nice laid-back vibe. I'd definitely go back!

Everyone knows this place rocks in terms of the food. This review is about the people. I called to ask if they could work with me on a special plan to pre-pay for the dinner of 2 very special, saintly people we wanted to send to Brasa. Jordan took my call and was amazing, and had me follow up with the GM, Alissa, the following day to confirm. They were both kind, helpful and up for doing something special for our special people. Thank you, Team Brasa! We love you!

All of the food was great, the server was very friendly and knowledgeable, and the place over all had a vacation vibe to it. The whole meal was delicious, but the yuca fries were particularly good and the spicy creamed spinach was unreal. I was wary of it because I can't usually handle very spicy food, but it was just a hint of heat at the end of the bite and absolutely phenomenal.
