Nice hotel. Great location. On the other hand a little noisy
We would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.
Comfortable albeit small rooms at a reasonable rate
Very nice hotel. Very clean and comfortable rooms.
Called to see if they have any sensory friendly rooms or amenities to accommodate my child and they did not. :(
Really big old hotel recently renovated. Awesome location.
Absolutely abysmal experience
Got locked out of my room and it took over two hours to fix and on top of that they didn t clean my room 0/10
The hotel tried to put us in a room with what looked like a full sized bed, which they were calling a king. After insisting it was a king, they sent someone up to measure. Turns out, it didn't measure up and they promptly switched us to a room with an actual king sized bed. I'd say they need better room service options (way too expensive - $10 for a bowl of oatmeal!!!), but other than that our stay has been really nice.
Good hotel. Good location. Price, ok. Well located and good service. Would stay again. I believe the rates were high due to several events happening at the same time in the city.
Love the lobby bar! It's festive, almost Vegas like.
Great location, good prices, cozy lobby to unwind, and friendly service. Rooms are small but we just needed a downtown spot to crash for the night. Lobby bar serves till 1a and there s a cozy room right off the main entrance to sip some coffee from. Upscale lounge off main entrance. Overall very satisfied with our stay. Do take note the basic rooms are quite small.
Old hotel, refurbished to look more fashionable. Some rooms are tiny. The staff are noisy during the day if you try to sleep. Fantastic gym, but good luck trying to have them change the $77 water filters at the water fountain. Requested a change four weeks in a row (including front desk manager on duty:Kevin). As of 07/20 still a red light.
Ok stayed here. Paid extra for a view room with a view of the other rooms I guess lol.
Rooms are small like what most people say here. I do not like I have to stand sideways in your shower. Not sure if you know this but they make a shower bar that curves out so this dosent happen. Most hotels have these now maybe think about updating.
My room for 1 night was about $350. I did not stay a second night. I went to another hotel which was the 1/3 of the price. Sad thing was I had a great view of the water along with a room that was double the size.
Food was good and descent for the price
1 Star because my room was dirty and I had to dust the tv stand and night stands. And shower was also dirty. And valet was terrible waiters almost 2 1/2 hours for them to find my keys. I walked down and found my own vehicle because I was over the mess they had going on not worth the $58
Very nice hotel. The rooms are the size of a matchbox the prices are the price of the Ritz and the nickel and dime for EVERYTHING. The bathroom is so small it can't open all the way without hitting the sink. I get old building and what not but seriously the bed wasn't even the size of a regular full when we asked for a long. Our flight got in late and they got rid of your room and we were downgraded-they offered us free breakfast that doesn't include a Beverage of any kind including coffee. I went to complain since we wouldn't be eating breakfast. Extremely disappointed.
I paid prepaid amount for King sized bed and instead I received room with 2 double beds with very weird layout. They switched me to king sized bed the next day, but it is the smallest hotel room I ever have had. Not quite the experience I expected at a Park Plaza. Icing on the cake was the bartender was the slowest most disinterested bartender I have ever seen. Older guy. Impossible to get his attention and having to take my order seemed to be the worst experience of his life. Strange. I would not come back.
Decent place and great staff. The lower prices rooms are quite small, but normal in size if you are used to NYC. The "resort fee" is odd... Parking (valet) per night for my stay was $58/night.
It has been 10 years I return. The place have been remodel into modern looking place.
At the price, you shouldn t be charged for WiFi. Superior queen is actually a European double
Clean, nice, front desk friendly, room really smallm
The room was so poorly designed that there was no room for a light or bedside table on one side of the king bed. Additionally the toilet began overflowing and we were told by management that someone would be right there . needless to say we are still waiting
You'll be better off in the common
Stay somewhere else
Excellent location and a nice, historic hotel. Short walk to Boston Commons. Rooms are on the small side but not cramped
Location is fantastic, close to the Boston commons. Lobby area and staff were fantastic. The room was nicely renovated, however the walls were paper thin and a tad small.
A weekend there cost as much as my first car but I had a lovely time.
Close to many things especially TD garden where we went to a Bruins game. Rooms were good service was great, definitely stay there again.
This hotel sucks!!!!! I really tried to give it a chance but every day I spent there was not a good experience. I wouldn't reckoned stay in this hotel
1. The rooms are very small, the bathroom is so little you can't event dress in there. TV was on a side of the bed so you could even watch TV. When I went downstairs asking if they could please change me to a room i could at least watch TV, they asked me for an extra $30 a night plus taxes
2. the staff was very rude, specially at the restaurant in the lobby. Waitress even ignore us when we wanted to pay the check.
3. Food is supposed to be served until 11 pm and small bites and bar until 1 am. We went down for a midnight snack two different nights and all of the nights they closed the kitchen when they felt like it. not respecting the schedule they offer their guest
4. the worst is that you can't sleep in this hotel. Stay for 3 night ad you could hear everything. Including our neighbors talking and snoring
5. Breakfast extremely expensive. they charges us $10 for a orange juice! $10 for a cup of coffee!!!
I never write reviews but the experience in this hotel made me realize many people like me get fooled for pictures on the website and when you get here it looks nothing like it and costumer service sucks!
Don't spend your money here. I honestly gotta say you get a better night sleep, and better service at a days Inn or even a MOTEL!!!
A typical rip off place due to the perfect location. Actually it's a two-star hotel though they are officially a four-star one. Not even breakfast is included in the horroristic price! Rooms are low standard, fridge empty! Ridiculous...
One of the best gyms and strategically located close to most places in the city
It was nice. Rooms were solid. Liked the bar a lot. Very convenient to downtown
Found a room last minute for a great rate. The front desk staff were friendly and accommodating, the room was clean and comfortable.
Great place to stay overall. Yes the rooms are small but overall my family and I loved it. It's located in the heart of downtown Boston a few feet away from dining, shopping and the Public Garden.
Beautiful hotel, clean and modern. In an excellent position to visit the city on foot or by metro. Too bad for the check-in where we were promptly given an unsolicited upgrade and who would have liked us to pay on departure. Luckily we realized the error and we were refunded 200 more
Had one of the most amazing stay there last year, comment right now so people can know about this place. Amazing bar and fast room service. Facility is clean and organized. Housekeepers are very good and honest at their job, always take out garbage and leave your properties right where they were.
Wonderful, I not only recommend it to go, but to go back !!
The service was excellent. The lobby and room was very clean. Fantastic location--only a short walk from the green line.
Everything is super
The hotel reception is lovely and the bar and restaurant
There is a market 7 eleven in 5 minutes walk
Directly opposite the hotel on Stuart street, car parking is $ 1.25 per hour (but maximum 2 hours of parking)
Cozy rooms and great service. Fresh decor and room was well stocked with conveniences. Staff was friendly. Close to amenities.
The experience so far has been good. The location is prime. The customer service is good. My sleeping quarters is spacious and clean. The view is lacking but the window shades are epic. The TV is big as the bathroom is little.
I was a little upset with parking situation. I was told there was valet parking but it was only for people attending an event that evening not people staying at the hotel for two nights.
The room was nice, but pretty cramped. The room had a king size bed and there was barely room to turn around in the bathroom. The hotel also charges a facility fee that wasn't mentioned anywhere that I saw until I checked in. The TV did feature Chromecast which is a great thing, but it didn't work when I tried it.
The basic has good bar and the attention seems of hotel bussines class
Our stay at the hotel has been pleasant. The hotel's proximity to so many sightseeing locations has been great.
My stay for a conference was wonderful. I brought two teachers with me and the staff was super helpful in making sure the correct charges were applied to the right accounts from my school district. The staff was helpful and professional during the conference. And the doorman and bellmen were friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying here. We had the conference grouo rate, but I think the prices are fair considering the upscale neighborhood the hotel is in.
Excellent hotel, very professional staff and very welcoming. I highly recommend !
Attended a wedding in the Grand Ball Room, it was absolutely beautiful. Super high ceiling with beautiful chandeliers. There were also stairs on either side of the room which led up to balconies where the bride was able to toss her bouquet and people could take pictures. Didn't spend the night but I imagine the rooms are just as beautiful as the rest of the hotel.
best place to stay in
\gym is amazing
More appearance than being. The big advantage is the location. To build on the old times one would have to expand the service in the catering trade and also set servers that do not touch the glass from above and bring the table to the table.
Rooms are functionally equipped, which would certainly be better.
Food is not worth what they charge. WiFi is only free with certain rooms. They charge for everything! I asked for two sets of utensils and was informed that it would cost $1.20/set! Rooms are basic. Pillows are uncomfortable. And water pressure sucks. I will not be staying at the park plaza again.
Great night's sleep. Comfy bed and pillows. Toiletries were nice quality lemon verbena fragrance.
Long, narrow conference rooms make it difficult to hear presenters. Lighting and sound onstage in the ballroom could be improved, as well.
A beautiful hotel with nice amenities for guests.
Let us check in early, very comfortable bed, lovely room!
Had a fantastic stay to celebrate our recent engagement & my lady's 1st time in the city. Rosaline sent chocolates & wine up to the room. Centrally located, walking distance to damn near everything. Clean, quiet room.
Great location, comfortable room. I would definitely stay there again.
My wife and I attended a company dinner party at one of restaurants located here, and it was very upscale and clean. Parking can be a challenge, so I recommend valet. After the party my wife and I stayed at the plaza hotel directly up several floors from our event, very convenient!
Beautiful location in the heart of Boston. Expensive parking but a great place for a professional event.
Hotel was great, room was clean, front desk staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. My only issue was trying to figure out which side of the building was the hotel entrance with valet. 10/10 would recommend and stay again
Small rooms but great service. Internet is too slow for Chromecast.
Super thin walls, poor service, and dirty rooms. Only benefits are the cost and location. Do yourself a favor and spend a little more for a better hotel, you won't regret it.
The bed was very comfortable and had everything that was needed but miniature size. Limited space to hang clothes and no room for suitcases etc. Shower tiny! The hotel is in a good location. The lobby was so busy every day and so it was loud and overwhelming.
Quality hotel, with a nice lobby and accommodations. Room was clean, comfortable, etc. Only complaint was bathroom was small, with little counter space.
Service staff was very friendly and helpful, room was quite small but it's just where you sleep so it does the job. Located pretty much right on Boston Common, close to transit and such
Beautiful lobby, great place to meet someone for drinks. The rooms, however, leave a lot to be desired in regards to size, etc.
I went here for a professional event. The hotel is very nice though some of the rooms feel a bit cramped. That may be due to the host's choice however
Hotel was very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Excellent location, near the Common and close to a green line stop. The rooms are a little tight, especially the bathroom. Great place to stay for a night in the city, but a multiple night stay the size might become more frustrating.
This place is an absolute joke. We switched rooms TWICE due to there being mud, dust, needles on the floor, and holes in the walls. The first two rooms looked like bad things happened in them and no one cleaned up. Also, the first room was the size of a walk-in closet, the second room was dark and up against a building, and the third was light and a normal size (finally).
Room service brought a dish to my room around 9pm that I was allergic to. The insisted I ordered it, and asked me multiple times if I was "sure" I didn't order it. Yep, I decided to die so I ordered a meal that would kill me. You caught me! Then she looked in the room, and told me to ask if anyone else ordered it. They were asleep!
The valets were very unprofessional. They told me they didn't know what I was talking about when I asked if they had gotten the car like I requested earlier. They said they didn't have my car at all. Then, I found out they had gotten it and it was actually parked quite close the whole time.
A large and clean hotel. Even one woman can stay with peace of mind. The area around the hotel is beautiful.
