Great service, great rooms and really comfortable. The lobby / whole ground floor area made it seem like it was way too fancy+expensive for me and overall looked amazing. My room was older, though still in really good shape, clean and comfortable. Everything was really clean, wifi was fast, service was great.

The rooms felt much smaller than advertised and the general look of the rooms was very dated and run down. There were exposed wires and broken walls where ice machines used to be as well as missing "up and down" indicators above elevators on some floors. The paint was chipping off many of the doors and the bathroom floors needed a good cleaning. I will look elsewhere in the future if I need to stay in Boston for the night.

Nice hotel we had a nice room for the 1st four days of our stay. Stayed for another 2 for the last 2 days if the holiday because we paid up front we got a room were the fridge did not work and TV broke down was told it was an upgrade by reception staff but was told by a member of staff it wasn't. When I mentioned it at reception I was told I had a large room and sorry about that they got their money so they did not care.

Quite possibly the most disappointing hotel stay of my life. I stayed here 5 years ago, before the remodel, and it was amazing. This time, pretty much everything went wrong and the only good customer service we received was from the doorman upon our arrival. I reserved a 2 bed room months in advance for my mom and me, but when we arrived after 6pm, we were told we couldn't check in until 10pm because there was a flight delayed (why that has any impact on my ability to check into the room I booked, I have no idea). I asked to talk to the manager, and the woman claimed she was the manager. She offered us an "upgraded king room" (which ended up being an accessible room with only one mirror in the whole place, a window that wouldn't latch, shades that were broken, and a heater that didn't work) and a rollaway bed, which she assured me was comfortable (it was not). She did comp us breakfast, which was nice. She told me the rollaway bed would be delivered in 10 min. 30 min later, we were settled in and wanted to get dinner, but the bed hadn't arrived. So I called down and asked about it. The guy who answered said that it could be delivered while we went to dinner. Guess what wasn't in our room when we got back from dinner (2 hours after it was initially promised), so I had to call down AGAIN to get the bed we were promised. This guy promised 10 min. I was just about to call again 20 min later when the bed finally arrived (the guy had to come back because there wasn't any extra blankets in the room). The hostess at breakfast had a bit of an attitude, and I had to get my own water as the server was not attentive (not a big deal in my book, but on top of everything else...). The hotel was also quite noisy. We heard noise from our neighbors and outside. I've had worse hotel stays, but not at a hotel that claims to be "upscale", so I say this was the most disappointing hotel stay I've ever had.

I love this hotel. It's decorated so tastefully and the room is fairly large. It's in a great location and near good restaurants. The bed is very comfy and I had a very good sleep. The bathroom was also nicely decorated and I enjoyed the rain shower head. The room comes with a small coffee maker. Also, I loved the thick white robes to use while staying here. The toiletries were very nice too. All around, I would recommend this hotel. The service was very good and the room was lovely.

Rooms are on the tiny side. I tried to do a little yoga in my room and there was no way! In-room literature is incorrect about telephone calls. The info card lists the charges per phone local phone call. Yet at check out, even though I prepaid a service fee I was charged an additional $17 per night for another amenity fee? When I call the front desk and inquired about this fee I was informed it included the use of the fitness center, other amenities and all local phone calls!

Nice hotel, small rooms, comfortable bed. I attended for a conference, and enjoyed the meals and the facilities. I parked off site at The Garage for $38 a day. Otherwise parking parking is valet only.

I am always available to stay in Boston.
As there are Japanese grown-up Japanese people on the front desk, they will teach you carefully. Room is clean and is recommended as location is good, too.

Boston Park Plaza is in a really great location of Boston. The hotel is very clean and the lobby looks fantastic. The rooms however are on the smaller side (which is typical for Boston) and the rooms have very thin walls. I could hear everything, including entire conversations from the rooms next to me. This was a bit inconvenient but not an issue if you have no neighbors and are a deep sleeper.

Hotel room was really small. No refrigerator in the room. We were stopped at the front door and told no alcohol allowed in the hotel. For $280 for 1 night we could have easily found a much nicer place to stay. It was new years eve so that's why is was so expensive but I think we could have done better. The 6 elevators that they have were very slow and took forever to go up or down.

Good location. Next to park and China Town. Don't need to worry about food and drink, coz lots of restaurants nearby. Have Starbucks on ground floor and open at 5.30am Or you can walk to Au bon pain only 2 mins away open at 6am.

Centrally located in a quiet area of Boston the hotel is clean, tidy and welcoming with large bedrooms. The only facility we used was the bar which is also the dining area. The drinks are expensive specially when 75% of the glass is ice. Plenty of restaurants and bars near by and we walked everywhere except to Harvard where the underground station is only 100 yards from the hotel. migobax.

I was here in a business meeting in the lobby and in the bar. The service was top-class as it's the property. It's been one of Boston's leading hotels over the years. The Park Plaza is the size of a city block with restaurants and retail locations throughout it. A great place to visit.

I was not an overnight guest and I cannot judge the hotel part at all. I attended an event that was at the bar. Definitely swanky and high end, with prices to match. However, surprisingly, they don't use fresh citrus Juice for their drinks. To me, that's what really sets bars apart. Other than that, staff was super nice, the ambiance was pretty cool - it's super busy just because it's located smack in the middle of the hotel. There are better bars within walking distance I think but hotel bars are always the most convenient!

It looks gorgeous from the outside and inside but it's just the small things that lowered the rating. Like a friend of mine got a leaky ceiling in their bathroom. The female restroom on the second floor had toilet seats loose. The halls where really thin and got cramped even with a few people. Rooms for events where small and oddly shapped with confusing layout. But the hotel is nice and kept water refilled aswell as a nice dining area.

Park plaza is a couple blocks from Boston commons which makes it a great location in the city. My wife and I found ourselves centrally located to most of the big Boston attractions. We loved our stay here and would stay again in a heartbeat.

DON'T STAY AT THIS HOTEL IF YOU PLAN TO DRINK ALCOHOL IN YOUR OWN ROOM!
Apparently Boston has archaic drinking laws that allow hotels to confiscate alcohol from your room if they have a bar on the premises. Boston Park Plaza actually enforces this law. I've visited Boston every year for almost a decade, and I've never had this happen at any other hotel. It seems to me that they are doing this to try and make a few extra bucks at the bar.

OLD IS NOT ALWAYS GOLD.... Not when you take your lifetime to upgrade things. My company booked a room for a week, and it was one of the most terrible experiences. Rooms are Tiny, I mean Tiny, I have stayed in some good ones in NYC, and these were even smaller. I was on 6th floor. The Keurig coffee maker, gives you hot water, and no coffee. Carpets are old with stains and even smells in few corners. Actually I got, lucky that I wasn't on floor 10 and 11, where the loud noise of renovation construction, didnt let any one of my colleagues sleep well. I wonder how, any one can really fit in those Shower Cabinets... And to make it even worse, my last day of the stay.. THERE WERE FRUIT FLIES IN THE ROOM, WHEN I NEVER EVEN BROUGHT ANY KIND OF FOOD ITEM IN THE ROOM. They do not believe in fast checkouts, Like interactive TV checkout, or even by phone to front desk, wasted my 15 minutes to stand in line to checkout... on the flip side, staff is friendly. Lobby, bar and the restaurants around are amazing, specially 'Strip'.. but hold on, DID some one read FRUIT FLIES???

Lobby is beautiful and has been recently renovated however the rooms are tiny, dated, and offer little to no view of city. Rooms have been renovated too but still feel old, and not in the good way. Staff is very accommodating as you would expect at a luxury hotel. Valet parking is $51 and valets expect a tip every time you park or leave and are visibly annoyed if you do not tip them enough.

Overall it was a nice hotel it s huge, while checking in I asked for the room with the Parkview since it s my first time in Boston even though reception agent agreed when I got to my room it was facing two other hotel room windows and the road.

The rooms are reeeeaally small. But the worst was the tiny shower... I could barely fit inside (I'm 5'10 and 200 pounds). Uncomfortable. Besides that, it is an upscale hotel with a nice lobby.

$17.17/night FACILITY FEE??? On top of the regular night rate. THIS FEE SHOULD BE CALLED BS FEE. This hotel isn't even a 4 stars hotel. I sleep over 300 nights a year in hotels all over the country and this hotel adds another$17.17 to my rate. This $17.17 is what I should be paying for a very delicious breakfast. And no breakfast is included. What a rip off.
STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL.
