The doors are paper thin, and every time someone walked down the hallway you can clearly make out what they are saying. The bathroom could do with a shower instead of a full sized bathtub, it's very tight. The rooms are very European.

We had a extremely noisy, smelly and small room next to the elevators. Plus the air condition in the hallway was so loud, that we weren't able to sleep until we put some towels under the door. Not acceptable!

Rooms a little small, but the food there is amazing. Its in a great location less then a block away from the park. Lastly the employees the are super nice and will help you with anything

So I always stay at this hotel when I arrive into the US and usually leave the country through the same hotel on the way out. I left my Nintendo Switch on the way in and 2 weeks later on the way out they had it for me. That is just unbelievable. Thank you so much to the staff at the Boston Park Plaza. You guys rule!

Recently refurbished, large (for Boston) rooms, hip feel to the lobby and bar. Clean. Plumbing in bathroom shows the limitations of modernizing classic buildings: some temperature variation of faucets (though not shower), presumably when the neighboring rooms flush toilets; the toilet was a noisy, dormitory style vacuum type. Yet everything was clean, and the hotel room was efficiently arranged with nice decor. The room was quiet, and temperature control was good (wintertime). With this hotel, you get to experience a Grand Old Hotel style, yet with a new, chic feel. Did I mention the GREAT location, mere steps from the wonderful Boston Common, and walking distance to the city's best shopping district?

The hotel has great amentities, restaurants and is in a prime location. My bathroom was upgraded but very small, which I kind of expected given that it is an older building. Parking is expensive $51/night to valet, but that allows in and out access. Garage parking across the street is $40/night but no in and out option. Rental car companies on the same block so rent as needed instead of from the airport. Great walking area, public transportation closeby.
Enjoy Boston! And stay here!

Stayed here for my trip to Boston to see the Patriots play their last regular season game. This was during New Years. The staff were wonderful, rooms clean, but cold (it was probably a bit colder than norm, being a nor'easter came through). Room was extremely small with the king size bed, but offered a nice bathroom, safe and a small armoire that helped keep me from living out of my luggage. They hosted a New Year's Eve party that probably would've been wonderful had it not been for the cold, but was very nice with the dj who played a variety of music. Overall, a great place to stay, centrally located with subway entry across the street, and shopping near by. Oh the restaurant serves a wonderful eggs benedict, which is my favorite. I'm very critical of hollandaise sauce as that makes the dish and was very pleased with it. The bar actually knew how to make a chambord kamikaze which was impressive. I find very few spots that know how to make it. This is a hotel I could frequent on my trips to Boston.

Very conveniently located to the theatre district and Boston Common. It's also very convenient to public transportation. Our hotel room was pleasant and had a nice view. Their entertainment system gets bonus points for allowing us to use Chromecast on their TVs (and yes, it actually worked well).

Excellent service, great hotel very well located with facilities and gym very complete. The room we booked was very spacious, clean and comfortable. Good detail that have Chromecast incorporated in each room.

Smallest room I have ever seen. Smaller than some even in Japan. No space to iron anything, not even enough space in the closet to include a bag stand. If they knocked out the walls and merged two units together this might be an acceptable hotel for the price. Otherwise very nice.

Watch out for the valet! We paid cash at the valet station for two days and got charged twice! Also, not thinking, we left cash in a compartment of the car. The valet person took it! The rooms were small and the people who worked there were nice. Bathroom really small and whenever a person used the sink, water got all over the floor.

They didn't have the room I ordered so they took something off the bill I was never the less disappointed the rooms were very very dark in my City View was the side of a building I like staying at Park Plaza because of the location but I would not except this room again also the king size bed had a night stand on one side and not the other so I had no place to put my drink of water and my glasses when I went to sleep there was room for a second bed stand and that extra light would have come in handy

My boyfriend and I stayed here this weekend. We booked superior king room. First, when we first checked in, we were given a very depressing room. No view, right outside room is big roof, no sunlight at all. The room size is like a shoe box. We went to front desk to complain about it then they agreed to change a room for us. The new room is a little bit better but it's not a king size. The manager Nick insisted it's European King size which equals to an American queen size. He literally told us this is the biggest size in the hotel since it's European standards, we stay or go. If you have choice on website for quuen and king room you'd better state the size is European instead of putting false ad. Very bad experience for the room and the service. Both room and their attitude are not worth the money.

If you like small rooms and no space to put your luggage, this is the ideal hotel for you. No desk, no table to do work.. Additionally, the bathrooms are so small that when you use the toilet, you are up against the sink. The showers are barely two feet deep and four feet wide. Everything is the right size for a midget convention.

This place is not worth $300+ a night. For that I got a tiny 15*10 foot room with my king bed literally 2 ft from the front wall. No premium channels. Worst of all there was no functional Wi-Fi. Their gym is quite nice, however.

Great location in the hard of Boston, close to everything that you would like to visit in Boston, price is ok but the rooms are quite small, the hotel doesn't have much things such as swiming pool etc.. it is only an hotel with a perfect location in the city center.

I booked the reservation through Priceline (I used the name your own price tool, so I didn't know the name of the hotel until after my bid was accepted) and was a little concerned because it only had a 6.9/10 rating. But, after reading the reviews, noticed that most people were complaining about the room size. I was going to be arriving late so I called the hotel in advance to guarantee a late check-in and asked if the room had a king sized bed available. I was told that they were out of kings for my dates, but would put me in one if one became available. When we checked in at 1:00 am, we were told that we were upgraded to a king size suite! Sweet! The room is nice, comfortable, and surprisingly quiet. It has a really nice and large fitness center. Great location. Friendly staff.

Excellent hotel, rooms are spacious with good WiFi. Plenty of shopping and restaurants in the surrounding area. Lifts are key card access, Starbucks on ground floor attached to hotel with an excellent gym also attached to hotel. Have stayed here three times now and would return without hesitation.

Well, it was a quick whisk in and whisk out, but this historic beauty was pleasant to stay in, the lobby was gorgeous and a buzz with activity.

There was a sort of open style dining area which was quite beautifully designed and a separate breakfast nook and several other nooks so it was easy to grab a bite on a few levels ranging from informal to more formal.

Bedroom was snagged at a promo price, I think I paid $180 ish which for a summer Saturday smack dab in the middle of Beantown (Boston's nickname because of their famous baked beans, a New England staple) was a steal.

Room was clean, more than adequate, bed was fine! At that price, highly recommend.

Stayed here over night while visiting Fenway, and it was beautiful! Newly renovated, INCREDIBLE and welcoming service, clean and stylish rooms, superb views of the city! 100% recommend while in Boston!

It is a hotel charging at 3 star price but with only 2 star facility and amenity. Service was excellent though. Nothing is free except water and air and no pool for kids. Noise insulation is bad, no free internet.

Hotel room was relatively clean. I stayed in a double bed room which looked like they knocked out a dividing wall to combine two very small rooms into one. TV claimed to have Chromecast built in but the proprietary hotel app indicated it only worked if you rented their criminally overpriced rentals. The bar & restaurant downstairs was really good. Never did get to try breakfast but it was always packed when I walked by. Overpriced for the single week of conferences at $400 a night.
