What I like about this hotel is that they have a picture-worthy interior and that what I always look forward to every time I stay in a hotel. Also, their staff is very welcoming and they will make you feel like you are just at home. I am so happy with my stay at this hotel!

It's fine. The lobby is pretty but the rooms were not. Small room lacked attention to detail in maintenance. Cracked times, missing grout, etc. No business center except a Kinko's pay-for-everything setup was an issue when I just needed to print a single page report. Machines needed a prepaid card you could only buy during business hours. But room was clean, price was fair. Ideal if you're only sleeping. If you need an office while traveling I'd keep looking.

If you feel Jersey shore is an amazing show, this hotel is for you. If you wear your button down shirt unbutton with your gold chain hanging out this hotel is for you.

Between the "high class" clientele (seen in pic) and mafioso style security this hotel is sure to wow the highest level of Jersey shore elite.

Hotel as a whole showing some wear despite a nine-figure renovation, but Front Desk, Bell Desk and Concierge staff provide attentive service, even during peak times. Active, well-appointed lobby with splendid bar a plus.

Central location invaluable for this good value lodging, but be sure to persist with Housekeeping staff if one's schedule varies.

Fabulous hotel behind the public garden. Rooms are clean, beds are great, people are nice. Crowded when conferences are in town. Convenient by Uber, T, and taxi. Did not have to park a car, which may get expensive. Pricey but market rates for downtown Boston.

The Boston Park Plaza was a very disappointing experience. The lobby was like a cattle market. Full to the brim with waiting guests. Poor management. Our Queen room, was the size of my restroom back home. Claustrophobic, extremely dull and minimalistic! The shower absolutely flooded the toilet.. so much so it was dangerous to walk in. The window did not open, so the odur of the previous guests made for an unpleasant experience. No tea of coffee facilities in room. I went down to the lobby to get 2 teas one evening and it cost $10.70. For hot water and two tea bags. Wifi is not included and cost an extra $12 for the cheapest package.

Location wise it's central and close to China Town, which is fantastic.

I would shop around as the Park Plaza is not worth the price per night.

This review is based on the experience I have so far with the hotel staff. I m travelling from Canada and will be staying at this hotel next week. So far, every time I call, I either get transferred to different departments in the middle of me talking. Or I get redirected to a voicemail. I m very frustrated that no one is able or willing to answer any of my questions. Especially because I paid so much money for this place in CANADIAN DOLLARS. I ll update my review if I see it fit.

I don't even know where to start. They didn't have my room this morning. Fine. Then at 3 pm ready by not really. I booked thru Expedia who even said because I'm gold maybe a could have a room at 1. Didn't happened. Then they can only give me a room with a 1 queen size bed. we are 3 people plus I paid a $60 fee for the extra guest. I was told to call Expedia. After more than an hour on the phone nothing could be done. Here we are on
This small room with a queen size bed and they just bright a roll up bed now we have no space to walk
Around. I'll have to jump around people if I have to get up to go to the bathroom. Thee is not even a couch or a big chair in this room. There's is a corridor. Not sure why I need that. Oh then my brother goes take a shower and we don't have enough towels. I request that and he come out and tell us the water is clogged in the nasty bath tub. Another phone call for someone to come minutes later and clean all that clogged hair. Ewwww. I pre paid for this back in April. For sure don't stay in this hotel which it only looks beautiful from the pictures. Plus thousand of people here for some convention. The Marriott in DC was better. I'll never use Expedia again. And I do not recommend this hotel. Good location but that's it

Watch out for hotel staff Yesley (spelling) - she will lie to up-sell a room then charge twice the price agreed upon! Hotel was also pretty dirty (it was probably a nice hotel at one point). I guess you get what you pay for!

Beautiful hotel in the heart of Boston. My room, a Superior King, was clean and definitely spacious enough for two. The front desk staff are super friendly and accommodating. I'm looking forward to staying there again!

There are rooms to renovate. Wardrobe closet without door. Old bathtub and bathroom door with poor conservation. In the hallways the carpet has dark areas at the entrance of the rooms which looks bad. Comfortable beds and cleanliness of clothes and bathroom is excellent.

Friendly staff, nice lounge. Upscale in general. BUT, and it is a big but, the rooms are tiny. And worst of all the showers are really tiny, to the point that you're uncomfortable showering (I'm a regular guy, not too big, not too small and my shoulders were touching the wall and the shower curtain).
I will not go back.

I can't believe I paid over $300 for a hotel that doesn't have a 24-hour gym. I guess it's my fault for not checking that beforehand but you should pretty much be able to assume that any hotel of this quality would have a 24-hour gym. I'm sitting in my room crying right now because I needed to exercise really bad and so I went for a run in the Boston Common and got mugged.

We attended a work event that included hor d'ouvres in the Georgian room and then a sit down dinner in the concert hall. Food was decent, drink options were adequate, everything was well done.

Beautiful room for the price (I had a deal). Small, but clean and comfortable and recently renovated. Felt very secure here although the surrounding streets are dark at night. Parked at the Motor Mart Garage, only a few steps away if you exit the garage at the Hertz rental car entrance. Turn left, and the hotel is across the street, about a half-block away. Valet parking is available but I don't like it so never use it if I don't have to. Beautiful bar and lounge area that was very busy the Easter night I was here. Staff were courteous and professional. Elevators are secure - you need a room card to access your floor. Room has a fridge, large safe, Keurig coffeemaker, ironing board. Plenty of power outlets.

Room never cooled below 77 degrees, no fan in the tiniest bathroom Ive ever experienced in a hotel. At check.in they gave us warm water bottles on a 90 degree day. We checked our luggage in to enjoy the city while we waited for our room to be ready. When our room was ready we went to get the luggage and they tried to give us someobe elses suit in a garment bag insisting it was ours. Not sure who is missing their suit.

Lobby is nice. Room is passable. Serious elevator problems. Elevators were constantly slow. After waiting for approximately ten minutes for an elevator to leave for the last time (only two stopped at the floor during this duration and they were both packed full) I gave up and carried our luggage down nine flights of stairs.

Nice hotel, the front desk staff were very kind and friendly - even gave my puppy some free treats. One problem was that I booked a double queen and was given the wrong room. Maybe a technical issue?

The room that I stayed at was fantastic, with one king bed and one pull out sofa. The bathroom size is a bit small however. The location of the hotel was phenomenal as well, located in the center of boston downtown. We were able to do everything we came to do just by walking. The service was also very good.

Hotel was ok overall. The rooms were clean, but the bathtubs were a bit clogged. On my third day, Ive witnessed an altercation between the employees upfront wich made me very uncomfortable. Mostly all the staff seemed quite tense to please the guests...I am not sure if I am coming back to the this establishment.

Pet friendly hotel at no extra fee. Very nice inside and has a Starbucks attached. Reasonable price for a centrally located hotel. We were downgraded from our room to a very small room with a king bed. This had to be the smallest hotel room I've ever been in, even smaller than cheap motel rooms. But the hotel made it right by taking care of our dinners for the two nights we stayed at the lobby restaurant, which was excellent. Make sure you negotiate when you get downgraded. They started with a very bad offer but ended up redeeming themselves. Five stars for that! Also, no fridge or microwave in the room. We did ask for a microwave and they brought one to us at no extra charge.

Even for Boston it's over priced. I did stay in a modest room but for similar rates you can get more amenities elsewhere. I will give 5 stars to every staff member I encountered, though. Friendly and knowledgeable.

Bait & switch! Watch out at check in. We confirmed a king room 4 months before our arrival. When we arrived, they couldn't give us a king room, and charged us more for the room they did give us. Internet is not free, and is problematic when you do pay the $12/night.

To be fair, it is a nice hotel. The property is historic, from an Era far since passed. The rooms are nice...you will be comfortable here. The entire property is clean and neat, the Staff is courteous, and there is plenty to do nearby.

I stayed here for the weekend, what a great place. There was some loud guests in the hall outside my room, but that was quickly taken care of when I called the front desk to ask them to be quiet. Very attentive staff. Very nice and informative valet crew. I thought my room was small, but hey its a standard room in a city. Next time I'll get a few sizes up. Breakfast option .... they have a la carte or the buffet. I opted for a la carte because I don't eat too much in the a.m. Hotel bartender was funny and professional.
My favorite part of the trip was the valet parking. Its definitely worth it if you are driving. All around great place to stay in a great area!
