Fantastic property. But the days we stayed we felt service levels were wanting. Bathrooms apparently didn't have good ventilation. Walls in the rooms were scribbled, central Aircon was dripping on the verandah and food could tasete better. These are personal views and preferences and not necessarily reflect on the commitment of the management

Excellent resort place near Pondicherry. Great food and stay.

Why you can't rate it below five stars is because it is one of the best beach side resorts on the ECR .

Great place for a chilled out time right outside Pondicherry

Nice and aesthetically designed. There are cottages with balcony toward lake view. There are cottages with private swimming pools. Restaurant serves good delicious food.
This place is also used for other purposes like marriage and family functions apart from TV and cinema shooting.
If you are staying during this period you will meet out with lot of unnecessary activities and sound pollution.
Don't rely on the beach, it is outside the campus premises amidst sea shore Hamlet (unhygienic)

Nice place to stay with family and kids. Lots of trees and a huge man made lake front. Slightly expensive and food is priced high.

Rooms were okay. But had damp smell in the rooms and the a/c and fans were not working properly.

Amazing resort, well maintained rooms and great hospitality.. stayed here for 3 days with family and just fell in love with the place. Kids too enjoyed and we are eager to come back again.

The hotel is great but don't bother what they say it was supposed to be a private beach !! And it turned out that you have to walk about 1.5 kilometers, and there are fishing nets and a ford on the fishing beach

Hygiene is poor. Buffet breakfast spread is not worth for what u pay. There is a beach in just 400mts from this place

Lovely place for stay and relax with artificial lake surrounding the rooms....water water...everywhere....Food is yummy . Variety of outdoor and indoor games & sea shore is in a walkable distance

Resort is ok, it's a beach side resort but the local guys won't allow you to go for beach.
There is some fight happend between local guys and resort people due to that they are not opening the beach gate

The staff here is fantastic and go out of thier way to meet your needs but the property in it sf is a little rundown and needs some revamp. The location is great with lots of activities to keep the kids busy. The foods great as well.

Very nice hotel, good ambience and I must admit, manager Mr. Sulthan Basha is extremely cordial and helpful...by mistake I had left one of my important item in the hotel, this gentleman taken all the measure to courrier me the item at his own cost in no time..

Great place for stay. I have been here two times and have never been disappointed by staff. The staff here is very courteous and polite. They would help with any issues. Proactively.

The villa rooms by the lake side are of international standard. The property is huge and has a very big pool, play area, fishes, turkey, ducks, sheep's, rabbits etc you can use the ATV bikes, zorbing, play cricket, basket ball etc... There is also a private beach access just 500 mtrs away.... Best part is how neatly and beautifully the entire property is maintained. The breakfast buffet is extremely good but otherwise the food is slightly over priced and you end up with the same options as there are no restaurants nearby. This place is about 17kms away from pondicherry. Overall the best place to be if you want to just chill with your toddler and enjoy the indoor activities.

An amazing place to stay for a weekend!!!
The pool is big and they have a kids pool aside separately!! The resort has a private beach too!! Their housekeeping and room service staff are very courteous!! I was very impressed with their warm hospitality!! Their buffet breakfast was also Amazing!!!

The best part of our trip was the resort.. thought quite a distance from Pondicherry town.. but it really didn't matter as it has its own enjoyable elements attached to it.

Such a great place for a long vacation!! Location Just before entering Pondicherry on ECR highway, Feels home and very very quite even if the rooms are fully booked, they do have children s park and big swimming pool , a table tennis court, a lawn for musical event , and a side gate out to walk and reach the beach ! Special mention about their morning breakfast have all type of cuisine

Luxury only at Name and Bills

It was our first year anniversary and with high hopes I booked this resort.
But it proved to be a pathetic affair.
The check-in process is nothing to write about and the staffs were concerned only about the time you are going to check-out.
The resort is vastly spread but very poorly maintained. The rooms, furniture s, bath tubs, everything must be cleaned/patched/repaired.
Only thing to boast off is the swimming pool.

If we sigh off the rooms, the restaurant is another worrisome affair.
Almost all the food items were served cold in buffet.
My wife dropped the soup ladle on to the floor. We expected it to get replaced. But the chef picked the ladle from the floor and dropped it into the soup pot.
We ran out of words and its highly embarrassing for me to select this resort to enjoy our first year anniversary.

Off late I got to know from colleagues that the resort has been used for weddings and corporate outings only on a major scale.
No one enquired about the feedback at restaurant or about our stay as well during check-out.

Management - Please wakeup and train your staffs on ethics and hospitality.

A wonderful place to stay if you planning to go to pondicherry. Technically it's outside pondicherry but it's like a 20 mins drive of straight uncongested roads. The property is huge and there are a lot of options for entertainment. The activity area has a pool table, a table tennis table and other indoors games. The breakfast is really nice with a live dosa and omelette bar. The food available in the room service was also good. All in all a great place to spend a couple of days.

The food was horrible and priced very high. Seafood served was chewy. Rotis were cold .

Huge property, but not maintained at all, dirty water all around the rooms and mosquitos.

Rooms are no even wiped since a long time, I had to ask house keeping and got my room cleaned.

Ocean spray resort is located 15 kms before pondy. This resort has a very clean, huge and beautiful swimming pool. Recommended for couples.

The food is amazing,but buffet is not worth the money,they can add more dishes..But overall experience was good.
