Stress free time with family and loved ones is the definition of this resort.. beautifully decorated entrance and they welcome you with happy faces and herbal drinks. Rooms are spacious and rates differ according to your needs. I was on the fourth floor so my room had jacuzzi. Quick services given in my room. The staff is humble and obedient. Outside of every building there are small ponds(man made). The swimming pool is on the middle of the resort that has clear water with correct chlorine. Besides the swimming pool they have private villas that have small sitting area in front of them. Very clean and a vast property. They have game area,spa, restaurant and tea area separate, mobile car facility. Only thing which bothered me is that they have mosquitoes in the rooms even if we close the doors always. Also the rates are a bit expensive but worth it. Delicious meal course. That's all v need for a happy n leisure weekends..

House keeping - 3/5 .... sheets had stains when checked in a d had to get them to change it completely, no toilet paper, second day house keeping did not give hand towels, finally outdoor stool had stains should clean it more often. Lacks quality control.

It's a decent resort. Rooms are good. We stayed there for one day. You can do swimming or enjoy beach. You can play sports like zorb ball, badminton, foot ball, cricket. They also have indoor games like carrom, pool, table tennis, snakes and ladders. They have in house cafe and restaurant. Food is good. Service is also decent.

Rooms and location is very good. food and extra bad charges are very high, even extra activity charges also very high..

Awesome place for a family outing...courteous stay and good food...great view.. What more could your ask.

Went for business meeting with in this hotel premises. The hotel spread around 23 acres of land. Its very old property with medium level of maintenance. Rooms are ordinary with well planned architecture. The construction with water storage artificial falls excellent view hatts off to the management. Excellent fishes available in the pond very big to small and very actively we can look a day in the pond. Colour fishes also available. Based on the budget separate villas and hotel individual room type accommodation available. Swimming bill also available for the entire day 7 am to 7 pm. Separate planned meeting or function hall with different seating capacity. Well planned play area. Fully green vegetation. Wondering by seeing the reception separate section for check in and check out. Even few marriages also held here. Excellent. Keep it up

Very good Resort.A little far from Pondicherry.Very well maintained room and Jacuzzi.Nearby to the sea.Food is good .Breakfast buffet has lot options.

Good hospitality with a serene atmosphere containing vast play area for adults and kids containing neatly maintained swimming pool. Villas are pretty cool with traditional room designs with better food quality. However the indoor fittings and hardwares seems to be worn out or aged which needs to be refurbished. Overall it's a better place for a weekend stay.

Superb property. Amazing place. Very well maintained. Great pool. The bar inside the pool is just amazing. Visited this property in February 2017. Wish to visit again. Hope to get the opportunity to visit soon.

Not that great compared to a 5 star hotel. Most of the games and equipments of the activity cebtre are broken/non-playable condition. The swimming pool is the only good thing about the hotel along with the spacious rooms.

We booked the resort from 22nd to 24th Dec (3 rooms for family). Resort is good outside neatly maintained. Huge swimming pool kids will really enjoy. Garden are is good with some ducks .
Coming down to the rooms - good rooms but not cleaned well, i could see cigarette buts and ashes near jacuzzi. Tea packets are there but no cups, in some rooms no spoon at all. Walking slippers are not kept, after we ask they are providing. All staffs are in hurry to cope up with incoming guests.
Food i didnt find good at all. Buffet was full of non-veg items very few veg options. Also outside resorts nothing is available, we need to literally travel another 15KM to get some good veg food.
Food prices are too high for the taste and quality.
To the price we paid, i feel it should be rated 2. Only because of nature i am rating at 3.

Very badly behaved staff especially at the restaurant.. The waitresses are from the North East and they behave as if they own the place. They don't give the menu and are so rude.. It's so bloody expensive over here and over that this behavior of the staff is typically un-inviting. Would definitely not visit this place again. The local Tamil staff were well behaved.. But then again would u want to spend so much and get such kind of behavior from ur host?? Not impressed.. The three stars I have given is mainly for the property and the neat rooms with the wonderful views.. Would have liked it further if the rooms had a view of the sea.. But it's only the pool that we can see from the rooms..

The hotel staff and the ambience is very nice, but the food really needs improvement. Not up-to the hotel standards.

Really good Resort for Family and also privacy for couple travellers.. Staffs are very courteous... Good in behaviour.. Each room has bath tub.. BATHROOMS are well cleaned.. 24hrs hot water facility,.. Break fast is nice and with good baked items.. swimming pools are well maintained..

Negative: * 18kms from pondi bus stands
* beach access is till 6 p.m and 500m from resort
* Food prices are higher than we expect and not up to the mark. Better u have hotels near pondicherry university..

Overall it is good to enjoy the vaccation

Amazing resort for a weekend getaway. It's nearby to beach and loaded with adventure sports.

Beautiful Resort. Very relaxing. Spacious. Rooms are nice and luxurious. Resort has a large pool with a good sized baby pool also. Activities center has a shuttle court, large lawn, zorbing, paint gun and ATV rides. Ducks, rabbits, turkey, fish present in the resort. Large lake adjoining the villas. Food is good. Staff are courteous. Buggy rides present between the buildings.
Cons: Food is costly, Mosquitoes as there are large bodies of water and there was not a single towel when we went into the pool for the entire Sunday morning!!

Lovely resort to spend your holidays. The luxurious rooms are very comfortable and the pool adds to its beauty and value. There is a dirt bike and car which the children shall enjoy. The property is idyllic and we spent a lovely time there.

I loved my stay at Ocean Spray. Would love to visit again. The ambience and service both are top notch.

A best place to get away with! The atmosphere is so nice here and they have made a huge pond over and it's got so many fishes, huge ones ! It's got a pool inside and they maintain it very well. I would go again and again! Best place to go as a family, couple and with friends!

A lovely place to stay in holidays. If visit Pondicherry and got a fat budget you can choose this cozy and luxury place. It a huge property with a huge swimming pool and got a private beach too. NB- it's 16km away from Pondy.

This place is nowhere close to 5 star standards. 5 star tag is misleading especially if you are staying in ferns. Rooms smell bad and bathroom fittings are broken. It rained during my stay and corridors were leaking. It is difficult to find a table for breakfast as the restaurant gets overcrowded in the morning. No good places to visit nearby. It is 16kms from the city, so private vehicle is preferable. Overall average stay, not so bad for the money paid. But don't go with 5 star expectations.

Spacious rooms and Swimming Pool. Large area that you can walk around. They are also providing free battery car for round up.

Resort facilities are good. Big area. Stream water to be cleaned. The SKA hall had musty smell. To be kept clean. Services are good.

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by the staff! The staff was extremely friendly! Food was awesome and the chef deserves a special thanks for making Dhal Kitchady for my 9 months kid!!! Heaven Room has a great view from the balcony and with a Jacquzi on the balcony!! Read many reviews about artificial lake, but Personally I didn feel anything bad - we enjoyed the place!!!
