A little too touristy. Dishes of local cuisine, especially meat. Discrete, but nothing exceptional. Good but expensive wines, a little too much considering the place. Simple but courteous service. Prices slightly expensive

Excellent cuisine and excellent staff!
The meat is very good and the wild boar sauce is superb. Choice of wines .... We are in Bolgheri, even if you don't want to ... Excellent wines and excellent advice from the waiter.

Going to Bolgheri a stop should be made at the B + restaurant. Classic and special menu, all very good. Excellent wines also at very reasonable prices and a slightly vintage location with beautiful white marble tables. What can I say ... enjoy your meal !!!

Kitchen magnificent, typical local dishes of very high quality

A place that smacks of magic, poetry and rural life, with its vineyards and its famous wineries around, only sorry to see how the village (compared to how I remembered it) has been commercially exploited in every corner. The prices for eating are, imho, out of any plausible motivation. Ok that 90% of the crossed tourists are foreigners and many of overseas, but it is really unjustified.

A little pricey but you also pay for the place. Bolgheri has become a destination for tourists

Great location with a nice breeze during the warmer days. The food was especially good, particularly the Maialino di Latte (suckling pig). If that's all I could eat the rest of my life, I would die happy.

It is so in Tuscany that you do not get anything to eat during the day. Personally disturbed me. But it's just like that.

The place is very nice .... but the cuisine is exceptional I'm a vegetarian and I liked everything they offered me. We also enjoyed the wine very much .... Among other things, they make it.

Lovely village and renovated in step with the new market demands, very different from how I remembered .... Worth a visit!

Delicious fresh products. kitchen has daily fresh own pasta and ravioli with fish and truffle. Not just from the menu, but ask for the products that have their verse at that time. Delicious antipasta. Price is great. garden terrace where you can sit well.

A fairytale lunch. Very kind staff, an infinite sweetness even towards our dog (they brought her water and a crunchy on a nice saucer). The manager, in addition to being a beautiful man, is very good at explaining the dishes, knows everything that comes out of his kitchen and conveys a strong sense of familiarity and safety to the dishes served (for those like me who suffer from allergies it is not a thing recently). We ate on the veranda, well furnished and welcoming. The surrounding landscape is priceless, the true heart of the Maremma. Fantastic value for money (try the Borgheri + white wine, 14 degrees of pure pleasure). Highly recommended!

Tiny village..crowded ... the staff of a bar where we stopped was very rude (because with the strollers we were bulky ... they welcome the dogs better ... given the presence of two giant specimens that instead did not disturb them at all!)

Nice place, right in the square of Bolgheri, very slow service and improvised waiters who missed several courses. One person who takes the orders: explains the dishes well, but inevitably you end up waiting a lot of time.
Account a bit expensive for what we ate, among other things we realized after leaving that we were charged for a dessert never ordered. 2 stars for the place and that's it.

We stayed at Bolgheri + for dinner and went back the next day for lunch because it was so fantastic !! In the garden you sit very comfortably and the place makes the ambience perfect, but that is just a bonus. The cuisine is world class and as avowed gourmets we have found what we are looking for here. We had boiled Bolognese and the beef fillet with porcini mushrooms. The plates didn't have to be washed afterwards, it was so delicious. In Bolgheri you can of course look forward to excellent red wines that accompany the meal. We experienced David as a passionate host who offers authentic cuisine on a first-class level. A must for us in Tuscany !! Grace per tutto

You pay for quality. The somewhat long waiting times are worth all the goodness of the dishes.
Simply exceptional staff, hospitable and kind, it almost feels like home. The owner David is evident that he does this job with passion, he personally takes all the orders and explains the dishes of the day with such a skill that you would take one of everything. Great connoisseur of wines, every time he suggested a different one based on the dishes ordered and he was never wrong.
We happened upon here by chance in 2017, and have come here 10 times since. We tried everything on the menu and never found anything "not good". All simply exceptional. Simple but refined flavors of classic Tuscan cuisine to recreate those flavors of the hearth of our grandparents.
What about ... you happen to come back (with great pleasure) by choice.

A very nice restaurant, a courtyard facing the square and a garden on the thermal side. They serve excellent wines, of course, and good food. Typical Tuscan dishes. Staff available. I recommend the cutting boards. Prices not very cheap, but normally for those who go to Bolgheri. Curiosity: next to the garden there is also Access to a shop, I imagine run by the usual owner, with characteristic clothing.

Very nice place but that's not the plus since everything is magic in Bolgheri ...
Typical Tuscan dishes made with care with research of genuine and high quality ingredients. With David carefully explaining the details that make his dishes unique.
Peposo, for example, is not a light dish in itself, especially at the beginning of September ... but after asking David how his recipe was, I got it and it was really a surprise. Tasty but not for the seasonings, which he does not use thank goodness !!!! ...., light, taste the quality of the meat in its entirety.
I think it is a vocation to be a restaurateur but David also goes above and beyond so ask him for advice.
I was with a friend but recommended for families or not ...

Beautiful location, excellent products !! A little bit dear .. I see the place, however, is understandable. Excellent outdoor, in which you can feel comfortable even with children.

I can't judge the food as I couldn't eat but the service and welcome absolutely flops.
at 20.20 we asked if it was possible to have a table, we were told yes but that we would have to wait for a table that was the second course to become available (so by around 9 pm we could have dinner).
We showed up at 9pm, the table was cleared at 9.20pm (and so far no problem, it can happen) but at 9.45pm the table still hadn't been cleared and we were still standing. When we pointed this out, just waiting in the club instead of on the street, we got rude and rude replies.
In the meantime, a gentleman sitting at the table for 30 minutes had to approach the cashier to order.
This is not catering, and we speak with knowledge of the facts being all 4 of the profession.

SAVE WATER DRINK WINE !!!!
Without words ! Kindness and sympathy aside from eating divinely, I can only say that for our children we took two hamburgers ... calling it that is an understatement. Sublime meat and serious wine !!! Not recommended for teetotalers even if they organize remedial courses !!!

I ate well in the restaurant, despite the full house I was served in normal times and with kindness and professionalism ... the amount of food on the plates is a bit small.

It is one of the most beautiful villages in Italy, the avenue of cypresses long over 4 km that leads you is suggestive.

Very overpriced food (22+ euro for pasta), rude staff and very hot to sit in the summer (no airco etc). Getting your food served takes forever! I will never eat at this place again!

This is a cute little place that serves as a restaurant and little shop. The owner is super friendly and actually spends alot of time in California so it was fun chatting.

We were pleasantly surprised that a Bolgheri wine we really enjoyed in Florence was actually made by the owner. We bought a couple of bottles but should have probably purchased more!

It was a winter evening a little late ... almost all closed ... we stopped here and drank a bottle of Bruciato ... no I know how to eat but the staff are very kind ... I will definitely come back
