Great service. Extremely accommodating and helpful. Wonderful food
Slow service, meat was not cooked properly and steak was a quarter inch thick with half size sides not impressed
Food was good BUT they desperately need to update their seating comfort. The booth seat was like sitting on UNEVEN boards and the table was warped which made the meal enjoyment EXTREMELY uncomfortable.
An overall upfit and CLEANING is desperately in need.
Wonderful food , setting and Lindsay was a great waitress!
I had the beef tips with a baked potato. Tips were soooo good. My husband had the Sally salad. Yummy.
This place was on the way home where I am visiting from out of state after a very challenging motorcycle road trip that wasn't quite over yet. I was tired and cold having been on the road since 10:30am and doing the hardest mountain roads ever in my life. A little disoriented and worried about the last 50 mile leg of my journey back to Brevard, I popped in to get directions and juice my phone. The waitstaff was closing down the place for the evening around 9:30pm, but these gals were the cheerleaders at my pep rally, encouraging me to head up and over the Blue Ridge Mountains nearby rather than going the highway and adding an extra half hour to my trip.
These were very kind and engaging ladies, especially the mother/daughter waitress duo that lived nearby. The younger one told me very specific landmarks to look for as I rode through the windy, dark mountain pass with no familiarity for this path, just the type of roads I had been riding all day... in the daylight. She kept saying, "You can do this, just don't stop." Amazing advice given that I thought the route would be 20 miles shorter than it was. Although I didn't eat anything at Bogart's, I drank deeply of a different sustenance to get me over a giant mental and physical hump back to home. It gives new meaning to the phrase, "...entertaining angels unaware," not that I am any angel, but those waitresses sure were. Many thanks, Bogart's, for your kindness to a weary traveler and stranger to these parts.
The crowd was a bit too young for me, but it was cool.
Service is great and the food is always fresh and great.
Love this place! The best sweet potatoes and great service
Great restaurant, we got there an hour before closing and they treated us like family. Best potato skins I've ever have, and the ranch dressing must be scratch made.
We had the 7 oz filet and 20 oz porterhouse. They were both cooked to perfect medium rare. The potato soup & rice pilaf were also very good.
This place was amazing. Spent a few days in the Mountains of NC at Cherokee Casino and met up with my brother who lives in Waynesville. He suggested we head to Bogarts for dinner with our mom. From the moment we walked in we felt welcome. The cute mountain decor, the lazy beats sleeping in the rafters, gave you a warm and fuzzy feeling. The food was simply amazing. Melt in your mouth fillet mignon wrapped in bacon, with a beautiful house salad and choice of many sides. Their little corn bite appetizer was a little nugget of sweet corn goodness. We topped it off with some peanut butter pie, a brownie a la mode and a slice of amazing cheesecake. The server, Terrance, was the icing on the cake. His demeanor was pleasant, in spite of our table of five craziness. Next time you re in the mountains, take an hour or so and stop by Bogarts. You won t be disappointed.
The food is fantastic, the place packed so get there early or during slower hours.
Food was great . The staff was excellent. I will definitely be back . With more family
Amazing, every time me and my wife go to Cherokee we try to eat there. I love the Black Bean Burger
This place has a lot of good reviews, they say the same things I would so I'll cut this one short, good place with good food and service.

Coming from Louisiana, this was our third time to Bogart's, this time was for lunch. As expected it was excellent. The Cajun shrimp was good.
Food was great as always! Our server was very sweet and helpful! I'm so glad the ladies bathroom has been updated! I HATED going in there before. Now it is absolutely beautiful
My son and I ate at Bogarts tonight. The service was most outstanding and the food equally so. Always a great place not only to eat but to enjoy great people.
My husband and I really enjoyed our steaks here. The service was excellent and the live bluegrass band that plays here on Thursday nights was enjoyable. There is limited parking, so carpool if you're coming with friends. The carrot cake was moist and tasty.
Good service. Okay food, pretty consistent. Prices not bad.
Great food and doing a wonderful job with social distancing of customers.
Amazing food, amazing atmosphere. Great service. I highly recommend this resturrest. Truly delicious food.
Food was good, but that waitress is clueless. Sydney forgot everything we asked for, got drinks wrong, geesh... have her bus tables, not wait on them.
Service was fairly decent. We got sat rather quickly, happy & smiling faces
Turned away at the door as the people in front of us walked in claiming that they received the last table of the evening.
I don't remember exactly how we first discovered Bogart's, but it was several years ago when we were staying at Pisgah Inn on the BlueRidge Parkway. Since then we have driven at least twice a year and sometimes more often from Loudon, TN to eat. And that's about a three and a half hour drive. I think that should tell you how much we enjoy Bogart's.
Always great food, friendly staff. Good steaks!Sometimes cold inside so you might want to bring a sweater.
Everyone is very nice and respectful and sweet and the food is very good.
Food & service is always great. Sometimes there is a wait but it's well worth it. We eat there quite often. Prices are reasonable & they have daily specials.
We arrived right at lunch, the parking lot was so packed we had to circle several times. Finally got inside (10 mins later) was offered upstairs dining with a small child was a little scared, the stairs are steep. We sat in the back and was perfect for us, on vacation we could talk and talk without bothering anyone.
The server was very friendly, kept our drinks filled, the chicken fingers, club sandwich, grilled cheese was hot and fresh. We also had the cheese fries, pretty good. Over all pricing was ok, I would take my family back next time we visit for sure.
The Food And Staff Are Wonderful! I Would Drive All The Way From TN (3 Hours) Just To Get The "Works" Burger.. Not To Mention, The Sides. Sweet Potatoes Especially
Bogarts not only has the BEST steaks they also have the BEST employees. Bogarts is a must when we go on vacation. Also, during COVID they have it going on with sanitizing! Bogarts has never disappointed us. They are top notch!
Best meal we have experienced in Waynesville. The prolific sweet potato is awesome and huge. The ribeye is cooked to perfection. I would recommend this restaurant to everyone.
This was a great place to eat while visiting NC. Cool history, delicious food and a great atmosphere.
We have always had consistently good customer service, and the food has been good.
Quaint and rustic feel, sweet Carolina service and the food was exceptional. Try the pulled pork stuffed sweet potato, you won t be sorry
Good food and friendly staff along with reasonable prices ensure it's usually busy. Friday around 6 will probably mean a short wait but it's worth it.
Bogart's has consistantly good food with great service. We have been going there for over 15 years and have never been disappointed. Good food for reasonable prices.
Had the Black Bean Burger end of August 2019 and it was burned to a crisp.....should have sent it back 1st time in 10 years I was disappointed
First time here. Went here at the suggestion of my girlfriend and the food was absolutely amazing. Catherine was our server and she was awesome. Will definitely be back.
Great food and great atmosphere. Laid back, the food is always good, servers are always smiling, and we re always full when we leave! We got a the ribeye sandwich and our friend got the ribeye steak special. All three meals were fantastic! Best part was about the time my drink was almost empty someone came along and filled it up again. Simply a great place to eat.
Lived in the area for over 30 years and we always continue to go back to Bogarts. Friendly service, food always consistent, we just enjoy the location and the food. We sure miss the prime rib special that they used to have on Friday night.
Went to lunch with friends and thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The atmosphere was perfect for a quiet lunch with my girls. Our sever, Josh, knows how to make half & half tea just the way we like it! That's not an easy feat.
The burgers were recommended by our local friend and she wasn't wrong. The beef was tender and mouthwatering, so upon first bite be prepared for your eyes to roll back in delight.
So with the perfect quaint, small town setting, cozy atmosphere and wonderful staff; Bogart's is an excellent choice for a quick bite or a nice sit down dinner.
The service was excellent a great place to go eat food is really really good try it you won't be disappointed
My fiancee and I decided to give this place a try while visiting the shops on Main St, and we are glad we did. The service was excellent. We got the Bogart's cheese fries, and the fillet mignon. The steaks were cooked perfectly and my only regret was not taking a picture to give others an idea of how good it was. If you are in the area and looking for a great place to have a nice meal, I highly recommend this restaurant.
I have eaten at Bogarts many times and usually have a great experience. Today I ordered the Reuben with a side of onion rings. Sandwiches come with a side but there is an up-charge of $1.49. I got 4 onion rings... really, and an up-charge? That's $1 per ring. About half of the corned beef in my sandwich was fat and could not be chewed. Bogarts is known for their good value. I hope my experience today is a one off. Really disappointed that I wasted a cheat day.
Salad was fresh, trout very good and my wife s filet was cooked perfect. I would recommend this restaurant in Waynesville,NC
Best place around for an excellent meal. Staff is always friendly and accommodating. By far the best place in town for a steak dinner!
My filet mignon tasted like butter!!! In a good way, of course
Great service and outstanding food. One of the truly fantastic places to eat in Waynesville. Dining in or take out, always good.
Quality and service. Great food and decor. This is another favorite eatery that we go to. Woryh the drive and Downtown Waymesville is a neat home town that mimics the all American stance.
Really great experience! Lot's of meal options without meat. Salad was fresh. Our server, Kathleen I think or Caroline (hope I spelled that right), made it even better. We'll definitely be back!!!
We ate there this evening, 3/15/2020. The waitress was great but when we looked up after we ate at the blinds, windows, pitch fork (for decoration, they were covered with grime and cobwebs and gross debris. We will not go back!
We had an incredible meal and were taken care of by a well-trained staff. They were kind and patient considering we had a large party of middle school kids. We loved getting to sit in the balcony!
Ribeye steak special was a thin cut that they over cooked twice, making it tough. Spend the extra money and get regular cut, maybe they can cook that to correct temperature. Seemed like their main concern is turning tables.
It took a while to get a table, but their food is really good. The stuffed sweet potato is like nothing I have ever eaten....it is the best!
Awesome food, staff and service can't wait to plan another visit.
Great food and atmosphere. However, there can be a wait some times...
Such good food!!!!! Love their sweet potato fries actually I have never had anything bad there!!! My children love it too... My oldest apologized because she had to tell me their macaroni and cheese was better than mine
Fantastic food and excellent service. Filet mignon is fabulous!
