Lakehouse Music is not only a music school, but a place where you experience music not only from the lessons and classes but from the incredible culture that lives among every teacher and student. It is alive, vibrant, inviting and it draws you in from the joy each employee brings and the growth and changes you see in your child. Everyone works hard to give their very best and it shows. My children LOVE all of the kids classes with Miss Kim and I can not say enough about how knowledgable and graceful Emily Grove is teaching her vocal lessons. Love the experience Lakhouse provides. So happy to be part of this community!

This place is a disgrace to music and what it stands for. The teachers are treated so poorly...the horror stories from MULTIPLE employees disgusts me. They are wonderful teachers who have taught me and my children for a while, and they truly care.... But when you hear how they literally get laughed at by management, their hours constantly mixed up, and the amount of disorganization is phenomenal. Multiple times if my teacher didn't show up, not only was I not informed, but the subs also didn't know, resulting in cancellations or rescheduling. I spoke to multiple management and you can see how highly unprofessional they are.
You can't treat staff and clients a certain way and expect positive results. I stay because of the joy music brings to my children. This place has so much potential but it's poorly executed.
Not only has my time been wasted with the disorganization, but so has my children's. They do grow in their instruments which I am grateful for. Change needs to happen, seems like management only cares about their wallet not their students or staff.

So I have no idea how this place teaches , bfrom the performers I witnessed today I can only imagine. I went to college as a music major, and holy , this band was something out of a garage. Unpolished. The drums were off beat, the main singer , a girl on piano was singing out of her vocal range and made my ears bleed. The other singer, a girl on drums was so flat. Do you not teach singers anything? The drums were off beat, the sound was way off balance. I understand that auto tune can correct a lot of these things, by please don't embarrass your company with live performances.

not your average music school -- this place rocks but not in a kids-music-school-cliche kind of a way! they have REAL musicians teaching classes, for people 6mos old to 60s. my young kids love playing ACTUAL instruments, and singing rock songs and traditionals (but w/a rock twist!).
