Bogart's Restaurant Review

It was okay, maybe a tiny bit above average but the steaks weren't as good as Outback or Texas Roadhouse. Caesar salad was brown and tired which was surprising since it was a busy weekend night. Upstairs dining area is a bit dark. Service was acceptable but nothing exceptional at all about our visit. Probably no return trip next time we're in the area.

Great place. Takes measures for COVID at present. Onion rings are great. The works burger was awesome. The rib-eye steak sandwich was delicious! The have outside and inside dining. Staff is wonderful! Love this place!!!

Wait staff was great, Kat was very nice. Good choices, great food.

Had the misfortune to be waited on by a poor server, which is unusual at Bogarts. Service was slow, think she delayed placing the order, food served was incorrect. Gave up on the bill arriving and paid at the hostess's table. Bogarts ain't haute cuisine but food and service are usually acceptable. Not today...

The baked potato tasted strange and wife's fries were cold. Only real good thing was the mushrooms.

Prices are a little high but food is ok, should get more for food price.

Was quite disappointed that prices had went up so much. You never know if you will get a good steak or not. Would rather rather drive further to Texas Steak House where the quality of your meal is consistent.

Visited this restaurant on our way back from TN. The restaurant is doing a good job keeping customer tables separated. We also saw than cleaning each menu. Service was quick and efficient and the food was good although I would have preferred the sweet potato fries not to have been salted in the kitchen. We would return. There was plenty of free parking in the parking lot. The only negative was the shape of the men's bathroom. The partition by the sink was very rusty and needs to be replaced.

Very good place to eat. Daily specials. I love the trout.

Came here for lunch today. We are locals and have always enjoyed it here, usually good service and hospitality. Today our waitress was beyond rude, My steak was ordered as medium and came deep red and bleeding, barely warm to the touch. Tired of dealing with this waitress, I decided to just not eat than to deal with her. Our favorite part of Biharis has always been the warm brown bread before the food comes. When we asked for it our waitress said it only comes with salads and that we had to request it. From my past experiences, the bread was always complimentary and was standard of you came in and dined. Needless to say, this may have been our last time here.

Good price value; we had really good steaks; good service; rustic style

A great place for tasty eats in a calm mellow setting.

It was a 15 min wait for a table of two so we decided to eat at the bar. The service was a little slow but the place was packed so it was understandable. I had the Profiling Sweet Potato and my wife had the Chop Steak. Both were ridiculously delicious. Wide variety of domestic and local beer. Will be back many many times.

They dont mess around,the best pimento(homemade) burger with a large sweet potato! Yum

Was passing through on vacation and found this local treasure. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and excellent food and reasonably priced too!

Absolutely fantastic! Josh was our waiter and right off he was friendly and greeted us with a smile. The appetizers we order were the potato skins, jalapeno peppers, and the combination platter. Everything was EXCELLENT! it came out in a timely manner. Then we ordered 2 outlander sandwiches which the portions were HUGE! MY grandma had the Renee's chicken salad and she was absolutely amazed at how great it was. My brother ordered the shrimp dinner which was cooked to perfection. I will definelty pass along the word about this restaurant to everyone I know!

Domt waste your time. Went there on 2/242013. Waited over 1 hour for food. When it did come, not only was it wrong, it was cold. Waitress was not friendly either.

This place is a roll of the dice every visit. You could get highly attentive waitstaff, or you might barely see them. You could get a unique, thoughtfully composed dish, or you could get whatever comes out the kitchen the fastest. The real problem here is any apparent local competition, and it has caused performance to stagnate. Folks eat here (and its almost always busy) because it's probably the best rib-eye within 30 miles. I'm here to tell you though, better can be found both to the east and west if you're willing to travel, and willing to pay for a better steak.

The place itself is cute but the food was not the greatest. We ordered the soup of the day and it came out room temp. We had to ask to get it warmed up. The fries were cold as if they had been sitting out for hours under low to no heat. The sweet tea was really good though. Overall, just not somewhere we will be visiting again.

The food here was delicious. I ordered steak and it was very very tender. The vegetables that came with the meal were wonderful. Reasonably priced for the amount of food you get. Can't wait to go again!

Generous food portions ...... sampler appetizer overflowing with food .... had a steak but try their sandwiches ..... they are out of sight

We visit Waynesville quite a bit and decided to stop at Bogarts I'm very glad we did I had the ribeye with a baked potato and salad steak with seasoned and grilled perfectly we also had the fried pickles and they were delicious I would recommend Bogarts to anyone passing through Waynesville and who wants a great meal at a reasonable price

Bogarts is a great place to eat. It has great steaks and friendly atmosphere. The service was great. I observed all waiters and waitresses constantly checking on their tables checking on everything, refilling glasses when needed and very friendly. I go to Bogarts everytime I come to maggie valley and I never have been disappointed

Have eaten here twice when traveling through the area. The service has been fantastic both times! The atmosphere is rustic and comfortable. The food is good. I had a burger the first time and it was cooked perfectly. My husband loved it so much he ordered one our 2nd trip but it wasn't as great that time. My son ordered a steak and it was beautifully done. I had grilled chicken with sauteed mushrooms. I generally have a hard time finding chicken that isn't dry and hard to chew, but this one was juicy and full of flavor. We'd eat there again if we are in the area!

I try to make it a point to stop and eat here each year I come to the Waynesville/Maggie Valley area. Food is ALWAYS excellent. I finally had to chance to bring some friends here last week, while on a rafting trip. The sweet potato fries are highly recommended!

Steak was good. Chili not the best. They sat us upstairs and we had a disabled person in our group ..... and there was plenty of empty tables down below

Anyone in town looking for a filling homemade bite to eat, look no further than cozy, delicious Bogart's. Their burgers are simply great, but their service is not to be undermined! Our waitress was simply delightful; the staff truly shines there! This place is wonderful, and it was a great pleasure eating there; I hope to visit again soon!

Had what I would consider "last meal" quality comfort food.

Good atmosphere. Prices are decent and reflect the quality of food. Few good local brews on tap.

Quick and great service. Delicous food after a long hike in the Smokeys. Our server had great suggestions for the menu along with near activities.

Over priced, not allot of food to choose from, food nothing special and its always cold in there!
