We decided to have breakfast here right before heading back Memphis since the Ruby Slipper was crowded and there was a 45 min wait. I had the breakfast wrap with bacon, egg, cheese and potatoes. It was very good. Somehow my fiance's order was mixed up and all of his food wasn't rung up but the waitress did fix his order and brought his food out quickly and did not charge for the items left off of the ticket. However he found hair in his food halfway through the meal. The food was good and so was the service but the cooks need to wear hair nets.

I got the vegetarian wrap and it was awful. There was no flavor and the ingredients are very misleading. My coworkers got the grit bowl and were also disappointed. I would not waste a penny at this place.

I have now given up on the Olive. Food is great, service poor. Used to get lunch twice a week or more. Always call ahead to avoid the line and wait. The wait is typically very long, even if not busy. None of the kids working behind the counter have a sense of urgency. None. Tried calling 4 days in the last 2 weeks and phone is never answered, then goes to multiple please continue holding messages and then finally a mailbox that is full. And I called over and over for over an hour each time. Today magically someone answered. Easy order, Turkey Club Wrap. Asked for the pickle on the side since the last 2 times it was left out. Guess what...no pickle. And no thank you when picking up the order. Literally walked up, interrupting 2 associates talking to each other. Girl looked at me and I said pick up order. She tapped the screen and said, here hit this and walked off to get my order. Hit this? The "Tip Us" screen. No thanks, you have to at least smile to have a chance of a tip. Better yet, get rid of that silly screen and pay your folks more so you can attract quality associates that smile and work faster. She handed me my order with out a word. Really stinks because the food is very good at the Olive. Having eaten at the Olive for over a year, I have yet to be "Wow'd" even one time. Super slow, orders wrong often, no one having fun that works there. And trying to find a seat anywhere near lunch is impossible due to people camping out with laptops, which is why I started getting my lunch to go. Guess I am now hitting the Taco cart more often. /rant

The food was bland and most of the clerks had no idea what was really in the food. For example, I asked about their "amazing Bo grits" which is supposed to a house specialty and inquired about where the grits actually came from. No-one seemed to know, until someone behind the counter said, "I think they are Red Hill something???... Anyway a picture of a red guy on the front...". I was disappointed in the lack of organic choices on the menu, so I broke my diet. I was dissatisfied because what I got was bland and tasteless. The coffee was okay though, although probably not organic, mold free or certified rain forest alliance or anything special... just plain coffee. Needless to say, although we enjoyed the hip vibe and atmosphere we will not be going back.

A very nice coffee shop and eatery. They have very good house-roasted hot coffee as well as crafted types, cappuccino, etc. Atmosphere is comfortable ,relaxed-chic. Food is kind of unique, hand crafted salads and raps, not like everywhere else. Breakfast menu is different than lunch and just as unique. They do grits in a way that might turn non-grits people into grits-lovers.

After experiencing your delicious breakfasts for so many years - you've noW gotten popular , expanded and now the food is AWFUL the service is rude and your cook, Jim, could care less when I explained the difference of his food experience from beginning to now - all he wanted was to defend himself and his cooking. After a previously bad experience (cold eggs, burnt toast, no jam pods, skimpy fruit, etc. coffee good ) swore I would not return,--however friend and I gave you another chance - she and I have been thru this together from day one when it was sooo good - BUT yesterday the experience & food was worse,, I could not eat my quiche, it tasted like powdered eggs, frozen and then put in microwave...the fruit cup was miserable and the once ummy big portion of grits was skimmpy and way undercooked - grainey..friend agreed .. We presented all this to Jim the cook and he knows my friend and I have been frequent guests,,, he just defended himself and his cooking, never apoligized, Oh I'm sorry, we'll make it good... I returned most of my food to him.....NEVER AGAIN !!!
OH and now large coffe has to come in a paper cup!!!

We love the different olive oils and balsamic vinegars that are available! I love the walnut olive oil and now am trying the almond. I really like the raspberry vinegar, but Ann likes the strawberry. Gather a few good friends, shop, and have lunch at Carmen's! You will be glad you did! I love what the Studers are doing for Pensacola!!!!!!!!:)

Bodacious Olive is the first olive oil/vinegar bistro I've been in. It is very nicely set up. You can sample any or all of their multitude of products. They have vinegar from this year to 18 years aged. Their olive oil selection is amazing. They are located inside Bodacious Brew. The prices are not horrible, but pretty much what you would expect in a bistro. Felt a tiny bit pressured to buy, but the sales clerk left me alone to go to another customer.

I love the kitchen store upstairs and the staff are all rock stars shout out to manager Susan, Alicja and Blake. When I walk in the door they know exactly what I want. Fromage de Afinois? Oui!! Especially during these difficult times, their smiling faces ( i am sure they are smiling under those masks) always lift my spirits. I usually also get the salted almonds and specialty crackers and a bottle of wine that Susan might be recommending. Their homewares are exquisite. Scan pans wipe off placemats, high quality kitchen gadgets and gifts. A great store and a lovely team.

Amazing place. It's a restaurant but has an adjacent store that sells a myriad of olive oils and balsamic vinegars that are available for tasting. I went for the breakfast yesterday and was pleasantly surprised. It's a cafe style area that sells coffee, expresso, quiche, crossiant sandwiches, wraps, toast, cookies, and more. I got the bacon, egg and cheese croissant with a side of grits to go. My meal was ready within minutes. Large portion sizes too. The crossiant was fully loaded. The grits were enough for 2 servings. Everything was really tasty. The grits were the best I've had in a long time, instant gratification when your taste buds got some of them. Super creamy with actual corn and a slight cheese flavor. I LOVED them. The crossiant was very good as well. I think there was mushrooms in the scrambled eggs. I'm definitely willing to try other items on the menu. The cafe had limited seating. It had 1 tv. They did offer military discount.

Absolutely amazing variety of excellent oils and vinegars, from Tuscan Infused to Truffle, to fruity balsamics and more!

I highly recommend this place. We have Harissa, Black Truffle, and Tuscan oils and use them all the time! An excellent touch to bring a dish from ok to amazing. I also have a fig Balsamic, which is simply delicious.

Inside, you can taste and try all of their oils, and definitely do!

A great addition to the downtown Pensacola landscape. Their selection of olive oils and vinegars is impressively vast and wonderfully presented. Caring and attentive service seems to be the standard. The huge selection of products makes for great gift ideas.

Great coffee, awesome food, fantastic oils/vinegars! My friends and I frequent this shop to grab brunch/lunch and coffee while biking downtown. As for oils and vinegars- so many flavors! You can spend an hour trying them all. They really add a special touch to recipes/meals.

This place really surprised me. I went in because, honestly, I wanted to know how you could have an entire store dedicated to just olive oil. The inside has a great design and atmosphere. There are dozens of olive oil types and about a 20 or so types of balsamic. You can try any of these with little pieces of bread and sample cups. The service was attentive and helpful. The prices weren't terrible- it's about 11 bucks for a 10 oz bottle of great olive oil. It makes for a great gift or just a cool place to check out.
