I want to say that my experience at BLH was by far...

I want to say that my experience at BLH was by far the best I've ever had at a car repair center. From the technician Lindsay to the driver Jim who picked me up, I was thorougly impressed by their professionalism and their attention to detail. I will be taking my vehicles there in the future should they need work done. 100% recommend!

Just traded in our 2008 Accord EX-L for a 2015 Accord of the same trim line. This is our second purchase at this dealership and EVERYTHING has been top notch, from salespeople to service to all staff. This time Mike McAtee was our salesperson. He was the epitome of what we look for in a salesman, knowledgable, to-the-point yet not rushed, and most importantly, not pushy in the least. He understood what we wanted and worked to that end. We got a great car at a very reasonable price. (The service department is also first rate!)

Each time I take my car in for service I experience a "let's get it done" attitude.
Always very helpful and courteous, as well as helpful, while never trying to push off unnecessary work. That is most comforting and speaks volumes as to the dealership's confidence in their products, knowing it is a superior and a quality product they sell.
I enjoy waiting in the special place set up for those of us who are trying to be convenienced while in a position of inconvenience.
Good treats, snacks, beverages offered, while at the same time having a quiet atmosphere to wait on the vehicle.
I truly hope Bob Lindsey Honda Dealership continues on in this tradition.

I purchased a CRV from here and it was a pleasant experience. They seem to work with you and they don t try to mislead you in any way.

We get the same vehicle serviced there and it has always worked out well. The staff is professional, waiting room comfortable, free snacks and drinks.

If we get another Honda, we will definitely got back to Bob Lindsay.

Great time spent shopping for a new car. The salesman had all the relevant information we needed, and even more obscure facts that other details lacked knowing about their own cars. He was very honest about what he could and could not sell (some cars that were being worked on due to the airbag recall). Great time.

Told me my service visit was covered under a recall, only to find out it wasn t and it ended up costing me $400. After they fixed it I inquired about trading in our 2010 pilot, then they told me it needed an engine and was only worth $1000. Frankly I was insulted after they just told me that the problem was fixed. After wasting 3 hours of my time and charging me for a factory recall I was never informed of, I will never own another Honda or do business here again. I was very disappointed and let down by poor, misleading service and a very condescending attitude. 1 star is far too much.

They couldn't give me for a trade what I need to pay off my car, which I completely understand. That's business. Was prepared to thank them for letting me do a test drive and come back if I needed more information. Instead I was given a lecture about why my car wasn't worth what I was asking, and if I were someone going to buy a used car, would I want to buy that car knowing the history. I felt like a little kid in the principals office. I don't need a guilt trip. They couldn't do what I needed, no problem at all. I get it. But making me feel like an idiot for even trying? I won't be buying a car from Bob Lindsay Honda and I will be telling all my friends the same.

I had a 10:30 am appointment for an oil change. Took way longer than it should've. They verified my appointment several times via e-mail as well as a phone call the day before, overkill. The "express oil change" took over an hour an a half, and I only found out my car was ready when I enquired about it! Service advisor Steele is his first name, seemed to have an attitude towards me and definitely gave off a bad vibe! Steele, excuse me, a long time customer, from bothering you.....jeez! NOT someone I'd have working for me! I've owned 7 Hondas in a row. Although I didn't buy them all there, I did bring them all there for service! I'm changing my mind about that. I really walked away from there today with a bad vibe from them. Ruined my morning!! "Service Department" that's the first word in the department... "SERVICE"! Bob Lindsay Honda...I think you're forgetting the definition of that word. I can buy and have my cars serviced anywhere....with car sales being down and economy being questionable... you'll have to EARN my business for me to ever come back there again! Terrible, terrible service!

Worst dealer in town. Never return my calls on service appointment questions, and they always blow off my service requests under warranty. Bought the 2009 CRV there because they said when I needed service they would give me a loaner, but there never is one available when I service there. Honda isn't a bad vehicle, but the local service will drive me to another brand.

Called a week before my appt to get a quote on 30k mile servicing. When I went to the appt. They charged $75 more than originally quoted. Picked up my car after service was closed, so I called the next business day. They said that someone must have quoted me on the wrong car and could not do anything about it. They owned the mistake, but did nothing to make up for this discrepancy. I will not return.

I bought a Honda Civic from Paul Schmidt at Bob Lindsey Honda. My overall experience was great. Paul was very laid back and not like your typical car salesman. He actually was very informative and honest. This was by far the best car buying experience I have ever had. I did not realize until about a week later that Paul was car salesman of the year for 2013. I can see why he achieved that prestigious award. I definitely recommend Paul if you want a no pressure test drive experience. I am looking forward to visiting the remodeled dealership in the near future for my first oil change. Thanks Paul and Bob Lindsey for a great experience.

I took my Honda Civic for service twice now to Bob Lindsay, the second just over a week ago. As a newcomer to Peoria I d think it d be top notch customer dedication since it is the only Honda dealership in the area. While both times the staff was very nice and pleasant to work with, I m left feeling cheated. The first time I received an express oil change, tire rotation and a courtesy multipoint inspection. I was assured my car was in good condition and everything looked ok . A weekend a half later my check tire pressure light went on. I didn t question it. It s common and I figured I paid a decent price so they probably didn t go above and beyond to inspect my tires. The second time I took in my Honda for service at 30k I paid almost $300 which reviewing the sheet was not worth the value (includes $11 service supplies fee and other misc charges). Whatever. I needed the maintenance as I was going to be taking a drive up to Chicago and was past due. When I dropped off my Honda they hooked up a machine to my tires and the tech came back and gave it to the woman at the desk which showed red and no reading. She said they d make a note to look into that at no extra cost. When I picked up my car I was assured everything was fine and the machine must ve malfunctioned sure enough two days later my check tire pressure light went on again. I called Bob Lindsay to bring my car back in to have the tires looked at only to be told by reception that the service department was so backed up they weren t taking calls. I was transferred to a voicemail of a man (can t recall the name) but never received a call back...over a week later. And now almost two weeks later my tire is completely going flat. If I m going to pay hundreds of dollars for MAINTENENCE the least I can get in return is HONEST and RELIABLE service. Now there is probably more damage to my tire and who knows what else than necessary. I will not be taking my car back to Bob Lindsay Honda.

First off i was lied to by the guy who wrote up my...

First off i was lied to by the guy who wrote up my estimate . He said we will clean the engine off to see where the cookant leak is coming from well my engine was the same as when i bought it in . #2 they did replace the head gasket but during the job they decided to put an aluminum washer on my oil pan bolt then tourqed it down to where a breaker bar was needed for removal. Oil pan bolts use a rubber gasket not an aluminum washer . # 3 the oil filter was on way too tight. I change my own oil and i had to drill a hole in the filter to remove it since the filter grippers would not budge it . SAYS RIGHT ON THE OIL FILTER HAND TIGHTEN ONLY. Can you guys not read? It seems like they were almost trying to force me to come back by making these things damn near impossible to remove . The techs name is Joe . This guy should not be doing any kind of work on cars period . He lacks the basic common sense to even do an oil change.

Not only was I greeted by an amazing Sales Rep. for BL Honda named Bleu, he helped me decide on the vehicle that met my needs, and let's face it my Honda desire! Bleu was super helpful, kind, patient and non-agressive like other car lot Sales Reps. I greatly appreciated his guidance and experience as well as Tammy in Financing who was the sweetest woman. My experience with these two made for an all around wonderful afternoon from start to finish. Hello, I purchased a new Honda Odyssey elite in 2018 and I sold it in March of 2020. I had 2 concerns. The first was reliability and dependability of the van. I felt that numerous glitches where affecting the van. The 2nd is how the Bob Lindsay service department handled those issues. I feel that a new van that is brought in 8 different occasions, makes me feel uncomfortable to keep that vehicle. Once a customer has a major transmission issue to the point the van is not drivable, and it is bought back to the dealer with only 1800 miles on it and all that is done is reset the computer. Something is wrong. And that was the steps taken, this is no good. The problem was never solved, just covered over. I felt that during these issues I was just a number. I wish my experience with bob lindsay could have been better.

Note: This review is of the service department my sales experience was for the most part good...... spoke with a lady on the phone today in the service department and she was very unpleasant to speak with. I got no where with the call and i m not going in to detail however this is just 1 small detail of the call: I am 21 and requested a loaner car while I wait for my car to get fixed, she stated i m 21 so that won t work have to be 25. When I bought my car I explained to them this better not happen because it s happend in the past and have had to fight with other dealers to get them to realize that some customers are younger. Anyway I thought bob Lindsay would be different than any other dealer like they promised me. However that is definitely not correct. I m a pretty loyal cutomer when you treat me right. (I buy cars a lot) so they are sooooo close to losing me as a customer. Along with this issue plus many more that were not taken care of, very very poor customer service in the service department (on a brand new car). I hope bob Lindsay himself reads this any maybe can fix it for the next customer. At this point I will not be buying an other car from them.... we will see how they handle this. Post-sales customer service is just as important as when you buying the car. Not being lied to is also important. Typical car dealer lie to get you to buy it then don t care about you. Thought bob Lindsay would be different....

I picked out my accessories, dealt with my insurance settlement, and he had me in my new car within a week. Tammy Boyd was great helping me keep my payment where I needed it to be. If you want a new Honda, these are the people to see!

I bought new from them and paid cash for it. STILL UNDER WARRANTY. Had misfire codes of 303, 305, 306. (class action law suit on the 303 misfire code too)
Said because it came in with a full tank of gas and (as service rep Jen Wright told me on phone) "The gas smelled funny" and we think that this was a issue of bad gas!!!?????
Oh, did I tell you that my daughter and wife got fuel from SAME pump at SAME time. Daughters 2008 low end ford focus never sputtered at ALL. And this high end accord died on the side of the road. HAD TO BE TOWED IN.
So NO WARRANTY coverage. I was a long term Honda customer until THIS event. NEVER AGAIN.

This is the first worst experience that I had with any Honda dealer service center as a customer with Honda for last 6 years. There is no concern or courtesy to customer, can t provide pick up and drop off, charges are very high.. did service for 30mi and charged labor charges for 1and half hour.and not cleaned up... gave a true survey on Honda survey request and manager calls today and says they gave $40 discount for $600 charges which is waste.. this is reality of this Service center

My wife and I have purchased an Accord, two Odyssey vans and one Ridgeline in the past 10 years from Bob Lindsay Honda. My brother has purchased two Pilots and a Civic. My sister purchased a Crosstour. My dad and a coworker purchased Ridgelines together. All at Bob Lindsay Honda. I've sent coworkers and friends over and they too, made happy purchases from Bob Lindsay Honda. What's the common denominator? Matt Szidon is. He makes you feel differently about car salesmen. He doesn't fit the stereotypical "mold." He really makes buying a car feel care-free. There is no pressure. He attentively listens to you and will not try to sell you something that isn't right for your needs or budget. Matt doesn't desert you after the sale either. He takes an active role in keeping you satisfied with any maintenance or repair issues that may arise over the duration of your ownership. Matt has won over every single person I have sent over to him. They now recommend him to their friends. This is a quality dealership with an excellent and friendly staff that really knows their product. I look forward to making all of my future new and used vehicle purchases as long as Matt Szidon is my salesman.

I have been going to Bob Lindsay since 2008. I have the best service from Justin Perry! Every time I have been to the shop especially the past year, Justin has always taken care of my care and my concerns. Making sure I have a shuttle. Making sure my car is fixed up to my standards. Especially, this week when my car died. Yes, he was sympathetic when he told me on the phone. He tried finding a used engine. When I decided it was time to let more civic si go; he made suggestions. He reached out to a Matt Szidon in sales and let him know what I wanted and was looking for in a car. It was because of him that I will always want to have him as my service center contact. Caring. Understanding. Great customer Service.

Next, Matt Szidon had to deal with my shock of my car being not fixable and my tears. I was not the easiest person to have to deal with that day. I also work retail and know the troubles of dealing with people. I was too emotional and probably a little rude (not the kind of person I am or want to deal with). Matt was understanding and knew I was having issues. I had to think about signing and committing for a day. I called the next day and talked to Justin. And then Tammy Boyd helped me finalize my decision to order a new civic si. I was totally impressed with the three amigos!! It took one day to locate my new car...and get it to the dealership. The process was so easy and painless! I will recommend all three to all of my friends! It takes a special person to work sales and with the public. Not everyone has that ability or knack. I commend all three of them! Three words to sum up Bob Lindsay Honda dealership....Caring. Understanding. And GREAT customer service!!!

When we first brought the car we were promised one thing regarding ScotchGard and when we tried to use it under the warranty the dealership would not uphold it. Furthermore my tail light was out and despite two typical oil change inspections it was missed both times.

Felt at home when dealing with Clark Taylor negotiating the purchase of a new vehicle. Clark was very patient in explaining the process and answering our questions and very thorough in going over the features of the new vehicle once an agreement was reached. The same can be said for Brian Bevill (Finance) who went through all the dealer options available to us and explaining the finance process in an easy to understand manner. The only negative was being limited in the amount of down payment that could be made using a credit card. Brian did explain the reasoning however.

Recently took my wife's Accord in for a recall on the passenger airbag and while it was there they diagnosed a second issue with the airbag. They charged us for a half an hour of diagnosing time at $115/hour which is a bit rediculous and I doubt it really took them half an hour but we agreed to the rate before hand. The thing that really bothered me was that they also charged us a $4.74 "shop supplies fee." When I asked them what it was for they answered "if our mechanics use towels or brake fluid or any other stuff." They could not tell me what specifically the fee was for but just said that is how it's always been. Also, they were diagnosing an issue with the SRS system; I can't imagine what consumable products they could have been using to do that. It isn't a lot of money but I definitely won't ever go back here again.

We've bought three Hondas from Bob Lindsay Honda (and 7 total) after our local dealer's sales and service deteriorated precipitously; they even misplaced our Insight during one service visit, and it ended up on the used car lot of a neighboring dealership they also own!
We drive about 90 minutes to Bob Lindsay Honda to buy and service our automobiles. Buying is no pressure and fair deals. Service is excellent, and the dealership is dog friendly. People who like dogs tend to be nice people. We don't anticipate buying another Honda anytime soon, but when we do, it will be from Bob Lindsay Honda.

Had a great experience buying a new car from Matt Sziedon. He was super patient with us (we're tough customers and not polite, native Midwesterners) and worked extremely hard to get the exact make/model/year/trim Honda we wanted. Amazing customer service and I love the free food/drinks they have while you wait, but we weren't waiting around long because they are quick and reasonable with their counter offers. Most places keep you there all day to come to a deal. Here it was like one counter offer then deal was done very quickly. Which is good because I have 0 patience. Thank you for the awesome sales experience!

My mom took her car out there about Feb 23. It took them untill April 3rd to fix it. This was an enormous amount of time to be without a car. We was told a week then they was waiting on more car parts then a week later it was they was waiting on the biggest part then it was going to the body shop then the paint was curing then they had to wait for the insurance to adjust the estimate because the bumper needed to be replaced but we was promised over and over it would be done and they wouldn't have it done. I don't know of any other dealership that would take over 6 weeks to fix your car. Still not sure how my be ice caused as much damage as they say. She hit a firehydern and piped the tire and that did over $5000 worth of damage?

Went in for a recall repair on an old Odyssey. I hadn't been here before, only moving to the area a couple years ago. I was pleased with the service department. The service managers was clear and concise. The waiting area was probably the best I've experienced. The dealership is easily seen from the road and a snap to find.

We purchased our sixth Honda and second Honda from Brad May at Bob Lindsay about two weeks ago. We specifically drove from Springfield to work with Brad and traded our 2014 Accord for a new Odyssey because we needed a much larger vehicle. Once again, the buying experience was easy with no pressure and a great deal. Brad is a pleasure to work with, and the management staff is very accommodating. We don't anticipate buying another Honda anytime soon, but when we do, we'll return to Bob Lindsay Honda.

I had a great experience at Bob Lindsay Honda yesterday. When I had my vehicle serviced there last fall I was told I would need a rear brake job at my next service. When I went in for my appointment yesterday I was told my brakes were fine and did not replace them, that apparently there was an error last fall when they were checked. I was quite pleased that they double checked. Many places would of just gone ahead and done the brake job. From checking in to leaving the staff in the service area kept me up to date about the progress and were very nice to do business with. Also there waiting area is a very nice place to wait and also offer beverages and snacks. The cookies are great.

I have had the worst experiences with the service department here and have posted about them in the past but the reviews keep getting removed by emily norris. She works with Google to have as many negative reviews as she can about this dealership taken down. The 4.2 rating isn t accurate at all. If all the negative reviews were left to be seen this place would get maybe a 2-star rating. Their practice of hiding the truth about negative reviews just shows there is a much bigger problem at this dealership

Matt Szidon is the perfect salesperson. He is not the "salesy" kind of car salesman you'd expect. He gave us the information we needed, gave us time to think and consider the options, with absolutely NO pressure. He is the best combination of laid back and hard-working. He listened to our needs and didn't try to get us to buy something that we didn't want or was more expensive. We have recommended him to others many times and will absolutely seek him out when we finally wear out this Odyssey. He is honest and responsive. He told me he would take care of any needs even after our purchase and he has come through many times....and we bought our Odyssey 7 years ago! Please go see Matt if you want a fun, relaxed, no-pressure car-buying experience!

Service here is worst! The prize the show for service in the website does match when you give your car for service. They ask you to pay more just saying some story. I booked in online for 30,000 miles Service the prize came around 154.85 USD but when I came to drop off my car I was asked to pay 257 + tax for the same service that I booked in online. The worst part is receptionist or service rep saying their Website is not up to date and that does not give actual price. My question is If BOB LINDSAY HONDA can t maintain their website up to date then why do they allow users to book car service on their website? I really hate and I would like to stop visiting next time if this issues persist. Not worth for paying so much MONEY!!
