Bob Carr Performing Arts Center Review

Another great performance by the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra. It was very warm in there.

Nice concert venue, comfortable seats and clean. Good acoustics. Pricey drinks.

Awesome performance as always..and it's free every year.. If you have never gone you need to go next year..

This was the BEST movie theater experience I've ever had! A friend invited me and I'm glad that I accepted her offer. We watched a block of several short films which lasted about 15 minutes each. The clips were deep, raw, and thought provoking. It took me by surprise that a group of actors and someone from the crew actually sat in the audience and was available for dialogue after. I can't wait to come back for other events!

The Staff here are first class all the way. And the game selection is off the charts.

I visited Bob Carr for my granddaugter's ballet recital. It costs money to park ($8) outside and in the garage. Nice building. Seemed to seat around 1,500 people. Very clean, the attendants were very helpful. There was an inside adult bar and coffee bar. Food was not available for purchase. Seats were very comfortable. I had a good experience.

The theatre was very hot. Hard to enter or exit seat due to no isles.

Great seminar, good seating, food sold in the facility was expensive. All in all a good experience. I would go back to this facility ... but would go anywhere yyo hear Suze Orman and I also enjoyed Sharon Lechter's presentation.

Recent downtown growth has made getting there a bit tougher. It's a lovely place, but it's challenging for people with disabilities.

Saw Dave Chappelle and Bill Burr here. Both shows were amazing. Parking is a bit of a nightmare but had I gotten to the show earlier I probably wouldn't have had any problems. I highly recommend it for comedy shows and orchestra shows as well. Seating is a little bit too close if you have to use the bathroom in the middle of a show.

If you want to appreciate a play in Orlando, Bob Carr Theater is the place! The facilities are beautiful and the acoustics in the room are perfect !!

It's comfortable amazing clean and fast anyone that wants to watch a movie even if it's last minute you have to come check this out it's so unique and of course perfect sounds surround system and all you'll love it no matter how or where you been before you'll love this one

There just isn't a bad seat in the house!!! Plus great acoustics!!!!!

Because when I went there like a week ago to watch act of The Giver, there acting was so great I would want to go there again.

Many inconvenient building features but great staff and a historic feel

Venue is a bit dated. Could use some updating but it served its purpose and the show was great!

One of the oldest Theater/ Concert Venues in central FL . With a capacity of about 2,500. It has great acoustics and a good size stage.

This place is amazing! We watch the Black Violin perform that night and it was a great place to just relax and watch a performance. Cool place I'll rate it a 10 if I could!

Easy parking, good lighting, and close dining at Marriott next door.

Went to see Lindsey sterling twice here. Loved it both times!

Poor acoustics during a stand-up show. Parking is convenient, although the area can get congested around show time.

Bob Carr Theatre is located downtown in Orlando. The parking lot has good space parking. Inside the Bob Carr Theatre is nice and clean. I enjoyed the seminar there's no drawbacks I like how everything is set. At this place they hold seminars, workshops and sometimes even plays. I don't go here often, This is usually a place where they hold seminars.

I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THE CHRISTMAS CANTATA PLAY!!!! MY 3 CHILDREN WERE VERY EXITED TO SEE THE PLAY FOR THE FIRST TIME. I WAS THERE SINCE 5:30PM MAKING THE LONG LINE. THE SHOW STARTED AT 7PM. BY THE TIME I REACHED THE FRONT OF THE LINE IT WAS 6:20PM THEY DID NOT WANT TO LET ME IN BECAUSE MY YOUNGEST SON WHO IS 5 AND AUTISTIC NOT TALL ENOUGH TO LOOK LIKE A 5 YEAR OLD THIS IS DISCRIMINATION. I ASK TO SPEAK WITH A MANAGER NO ONE WANTED TO GET ONE THE STOPPED LETTING PEOPLE IN BY 6:50PM BECAUSE THEY REACHED CAPASITY. I WAS FURIOUS BY THE TIME THEY SEEN MY ANXITY IT WAS 7:25PM (25 min into the show) AND FINALLY I GOT TO TALK TO A MANAGER. I'M NOT SURE WHAT HIS NAME WAS BUT HE WAS PART OF THE SHOW. HE TOLD ME HE KNOWS WHAT A 5 YEAR OLD LOOKS LIKE AND THAT MY SON WAS NOT ONE. BY THIS TIME IT WAS 7:50PM. I STARTED TO CRY FROM THE FRUSTRATION. I THEN LOOKED FOR ANOTHER MANAGER. HIS NAME WAS DAVID HE WAS SO AWESOME! I EXPLAINED MY SITUATION THEM HE LOOKED AT MY SON ASKED HIM HOW OLD HE WAS MY SON RAISED HIS AND AND SHOWED HIM 5. DAVID RIGHT AWAY WALKED US TO A SEAT 4 PEOPLE BY THE TIME WE GOT INTO THE THEATER IT WAS 8:05PM WE MISSED ALL READY AN HOUR OFF THE SHOW I APPRECIATE THE REST OF IT BUT NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO SEE THE IS SHOW!!!!!

The theater is really big and pretty, but the lobby seems to always smell a bit bad.

Very hot in the theater!!!! Staff was very slow and disorganized. Parking was full and had to park 2 blocks away.

Always enjoy performances in this facility. Loved hearing Handel's Messiah. Thank you for giving back to Orlando!!

This place has good acoustics so there really isn't a bad seat for hearing a concert. I find the seating uncomfortable and it can get a bit claustrophobic if you are in the middle of a row in the orchestra section. The bar is pricy as you would expect.

1st time attending, thanks to #OCPS, who allowed our students to enjoy a lovely day with plenty of music & dance. We saw the Orlando Philharmonic & the Orlando Ballet. Bravo for a stupendous display of art!!!

Parking was a breeze and plenty of security around.

Show was great but, when we got there, we were told no phones. Some people in line had received emails and some had not. We were not so lucky. The entire situation was completely disorganized and chaotic. Lines that weren't lines, employees getting snippy with people but not articulating what they wanted us to do. Once we finally got inside, the bar ran out of bottled water. All in all, the show was phenomenal but the venue was not.

Bastion of culture in Orlando. go there for the symphony!

Watched Handel's Messiah. Beautiful venue. Loved the music.

Great venue for live music or plays. Parking is becoming a challenge with the UCF buildings going up. The theater itself is the old theater with a new larger facade that creates a large lobby space. We saw the Christmas Pops show and it was wonderful. The one change may be to add more bathrooms. Easy in, easy out and lots of hand rails for folks who rely on that. No elevator so if your seats are balcony, you will walk up some stairs.

I'm glad the Bob Carr administration is promoting nice events.. Dancing with the stars.. Little upgrade would be veey nice in order to follow with all the improvements that the City of Orlando is doing downtown

Theater was clean but the seats could use some refurbishment. They were packed in and it was very warm. We sat in left ochastra, row w, seat 22/21 (which is right next to the sound and light to control table. Not necessarily bad since my boyfriend had space next to him instead of another person.)

This place is nice. I went for the Barbara Corcoran event and it was quite nice. The seats are plentiful and comfy. It was air conditioned, clean, and well-maintained. The audio was good. But overall it was a nice place.

I enjoyed the night but get there early so you can find parking.

Program was nice and facility is comfortable but the drink prices are outragious. No need to gouge so deeply for a profit

Very cool theatre. Super 80's decor but I love the layout. Very unique lobby and fantastic stage.

Visiting with middle school students to see The Giver! Staff got our herd of kids in and out safely! Great show and theater

Liked the convenience of paying parking with credit card. Fast and secure. Facilities are ok. Support personnel helpful. Overall good venue for concerts.
