First visit, we had a nice time at the Chicago concert. Looking forward to our next event at the Bob Carr Theater.
Absolutely incredible concert tribute to.Aretha! The Orlando Philharmonic never disappoints!
Nice, clean, good acoustics. Plenty of bathrooms, hardly any lines. Short lines at bar during intermission. Good crowd control.
Convenient location, close to downtown. Close to two paid parking garages
We were last here maybe a year ago to watch another musician and we loved their bar set up. It looks like DRP had changed their setup to match their main facility so less cocktail choices and sub par wine, but i love this facility. The crowds are bearable and if you come early you will have no problem accessing anything. Easy to get out of the parking lots and there are more choice than the ones we had last time. Do not be afraid to see a show here.
Horrible theatre.....seating is ridiculous as there is only access at the end of the rows so you have to walk in front of many people to get to you seats. There is no center isle and the seats are not roomy at all.
My only complaint is the orchestra seats have no middle isle. Otherwise very nice theater!
As a season ticket holder for Broadway shows at Dr. Phillips, we had forgotten the intimacy of the Bob Carr. Everyone was friendly and it was well organized to get everyone to their seats. We will definitely be looking for more shows to see here!
It's a nice venue, but could use updating. It's rather small, so most people end up with a good view. The people that work there have always been friendly and helpful. I have never liked they don't have a center isle. The seats could be updated, and of course the space for women's rest rooms remain a problem.
This place has seen better days. Air conditioning is almost non functional and I paid $40 for 2 glasses of wine and a bottle of water. Sad
Had a great time with the family here. It's a decent size theater and any where you sit is a great view. The only issue is the rows are long so sitting in the center means 12 people have to stand up to let you pass.
It was awesome!! The Price is Right Live was there and we had a fantastic time!!
My first time to. hear The Orlando Philharmonic
Branford Marsalis was guest. soloist and had a chat with the conductor prior to the performance. What a great evening! I definitely would attend more Philharmonic concerts.
I love this theatre, tons of open rehearsals and cool stuff going on, they've got a great orchestra and tons of fun plays and musicals happening almost weekly
This is an older venue in Orlando but is still used for concerts and shows. There's really nothing wrong with it except it's older. Seen many good shows there!
Saw Joe Rogan here the other week. Awesome performance and strong drinks!
Great vintage theatre setting to see acts not quite big enough for the amway.
There were roof leaks the last show I went to, and water was falling on people in a very crowded setting, and overall there isnt a good way to do crowd control, so before the show its a crowded mess in the lobby
Saw Bill Burr here and it was a great experience. I would recommend spending a little more on tickets for closer seats because it's a large theater and I can only imagine how difficult it would be to hear a comedian in the back. The theater was clean and easily accessible.
Beautiful theater, great to see school children enjoying culture. I loved it
There is not a bad seat in the house. The ushers are friendly, the seats are comfortable, and the acoustics are great.
Went to see Neil DeGrasse Tyson here. The venue was great!
I was lucky that able to park my car at the parking area next to the entry
The Bob Carr theater is absolutely lovely. Many different events happen there, and those that I've been to are all splendid. Today I attended the free concert of Handel's Messiah, conducted by the illustrious John V. Sinclair. This Messiah concert is an unmissable part of the Central Florida Christmas experience.
Nice however very crowded and not easy to get in and out when you're in the theatre
Great time, great atmosphere, I just wish they had wider seating rows because I had to step on a few toes to get to my seat.
Very nice venue. Not quite as nice as the Dr. Philips Performing Arts Center but it's a great place to see the Orlando Philharmonic.
It's always a fun time at Bob Carr. Parking in the garage is straight forward and it's a short walk to the theater entrance. The theater is always lovely, with comfortable seats and good acoustics. Perfect for the smaller more intimate performances.
Great acoustics and wonderful staff but cramped uncomfortable and poor condition seating. AC was inadequate.
Concert hall located in Downtown Orlando, classic, simple, sometimes presents events at no cost, you only collaborate with food or what they indicate when conducting the event, their presentations are purely classical, spacious music, it has security at enter, has special areas for the disabled
Music was phenomenal. The stage and chairs were old and tattered. #symphony
We had a great time at thirds theatre, very large and well appointed
It was a very nice venue. I saw Home Free and it was amazing.
Went to a Jesse James decker concert here with my wife and it was a nice clean place
Interesting lauout to theater, go up a bunch of steps to only go down again or go outside and come back in another set of doors. Probably the least accessible building I have ever seen. The staff try really hard to try to compensate. Saw the Home Free Vocal Band here. Sound bounces around and echos.
I think this theater needs to improve in some issues, like air conditioning.
Great place to see performances! I saw Dancing for Diabetes.
Went to see the isleys and I have to say I grew up my parents and grandparents listening to them they are a very talented group with endless songs to jam to BUT Ronald needs to retire ...YES he is a legend and icon but ummmm he is too weak to perform anymore his music will forever transfer and live on for generations to come but he needs to hang it up as far as the theater it was nice clean security was respectful not too cold /hot
Very nice ambiance !!!
Make sure to be here for the opening day of the extension, going to the amazing
Our family loves this venue and hopes it continues to be used for many more wonderful events!
Here for the first time, attending the Lauren Daigle Behold Christmas Tour. Not a single Christmas decoration inside or outside of the venue. Not a tree, not a light, not a snowflake...I mean ZERO. I guess the Bob Carr people didn t want to offend anyone with any kind of reference to Christmas. Oh wait, it s a Christmas concert. Such a shame...this building should have, and would have, been stunning in her Christmas splendor. At least no one was offended :-/. However, the folks that run this place should be ashamed of missing an opportunity to get the grand old theater all dressed up for the holidays.
The outside is very beautiful and modern, but inside was hot and very crowded. The seats are tide and there are few corridors - I think it is dangerous in case of quick evacuation.
But the acoustic is amazing and Norah Jones's show was simply wonderful.
I went and saw The Legend of Zelda: Symphony of The Goddesses. Show was great. Audio was good. The video was ok but then again it was an up-scaled nes at times. However I will not go back unless it is a show I must see. The seats hurt my back and I am only 26. If you a large person you will not be close to comfortable. Even the skinny guy with us had an issue with the seats. It would have been a better show if I could have just stood and watched it. I hope they change the seats out. Yes it will cost them money for less seats, but just make up for it in ticket prices. They need to do something about them.
Great classical theater set up. Huge space and all still up and running.
Love the quaintness of a smaller theatre where there isn't a bad seat in the house.
Cool venue. I saw Joe Rogan here. I like comedy to be a little more intimate. Seats are like elementary school auditoriums though.
Nice theater.... Seats are a bit hard to get up and move if say you need to use the bathroom or get a drink
Love this theater. New modern and clean. Need more seats that sit lower then high tops to allow for those handicapped/elderly a place to be seated in the lobby of each floor.
The theater is nice and cozy and the staff is courteous. We went there for The Mann's family concert and we had a great time. Too bad for the people who left 30 minutes after the concert started...
Theater in downtown Orlando. Parking is $10. It was warm inside. A/C was not working properly. Attentive staff.
This theater is pretty nice but seemed rather small and old. Has more of a high school vibe to me. Although this does mean it is a bit more intimate so could be great for some shows. Bathrooms were clean and nice, parking was easy enough across the street at the Marriott (they also have a lot for the theater I believe), and access in and out is pretty quick. Definitely nice but not a grand theater if that is what you are expecting.
School field Trip to see the symphony - nicely done!
Great seating amenities and acoustics. Highly re commend going to a concert there.
Aretha, A Tribute to the Queen of Soul: Orlando Philharmonic/Conductor Lucas Waldon , Bethune Cookman University Concert Chorale, with featured vocalist Capathia Jenkins & Ryan Shaw was superb.
Derek Hough was absolutely marvelous. Such a multi-talented person. Love Bob Carr theater
Went here the other night with my mom and saw Dancing for Diabetes program for the very first time and I really enjoyed myself. Me and my mom had really good seats and was escorted to the back of the building for handicap seating and we were able to see the stage very well. I would go back again to see another performance because I really enjoyed myself even though it was really cold outside but it was worth it.
Attended a venue last evening. The show was great, that's where it ends. When we arrived we looked for our seats. No luck so we asked the usher . He was rude and told us the rows were labeled. No luck. There is no real ROW Y. All that money and they give us a folding chair. You got that, a stinking folding chair. Done with this place and I will be giving them a call.
Great place to bring your show. A large venue with an intimate feelExcellent backstage crew including especially the master carpenter Chuck and wardrobe mistress Leda.
Tango Lovers show was amazing!
