My experience at BMW Sydney was outstanding thanks to Peter and Tristan. From the discussions of the purchase price right through every detail of the car. Tristan's ensured the car was presented perfectly on pick up and answered every question I had confidently and honestly. Rather than risking purchasing a used car privately or through many of the random yards available I am confident I have the support of a BMW dealership that will ensure its customers satisfaction is first and foremost. Bmw sydney even fixed a problem for me with no labour charge. Could not fault anything. Not sure where some of these bad reviews are coming from but my experience from the purchase to the first service has been great.

My first service with BMW was fine, nothing to complain about. I had owned a Porsche previously. The service at Porsche Centre Willoughby was outstanding, but I accepted that BMW service would not be as fabulous because I had 'downgraded'.
However, today I went in to have my tyres and oil checked before going on a long trip. This was done with no fuss, in minutes. I had a couple of questions about the sat. nav. Paul was very obliging, went through everything. He said if you have questions, come in any time!
My car has been booked in for its second service in two weeks' time so I will see how that goes, but I believe that they are trying very hard to improve.

I was in dismay today, at the BMW Sydney Alexandria , On a Monday afternoon a not so busy day the receptionist could not get any sales person to talk to me.
One was making coffee and another 2 walked by saying that they were busy.

A very Unhappy customer. Amazing presale service, however when something goes wrong, they are unresponsive and unwilling to fix the car to a satisfactory condition. I would not recommend.
When I Purchased a Used BMW Convertible, I advised something was wrong with the roof (Hole forming) they advised it was ok. The hole got bigger and they fixed it. However the fix looked like melted glue on the roof, a big blob. Despite it looking awful, the Fix failed and another hole developed in the exact same location, this time they did a professional repair which still looks awful(better than the blob but extremely visible). Now again the Fix has failed and the it has developed a hole in the exact same location for a third time. I advised if no action was taken id have no choice but to go through fair trading. They have said they are no longer willing to help, and I am in the progress of dealing with fair trading.

When my partner collected his car after service 2 weeks ago, he had queries with his radio tuned to another station and his phone no longer showing caller IDs. When he called for assistance, no one responded and no one called him back.
I called yesterday to request someone call him as the headlights were not coming on and my partner was en-route to Moree from Sydney in rainy conditions.
Despite four calls, one of these to a service supervisor, another to a service manager, no one called him as I continually requested.

- The service here are ridiculous, together with hubris personnel.
We usually live about 20 km away from the city but we have moved near the area a few years ago, so I thought I'd bring my car here for services.
When I ring up for an appointment a lot of questions asked just to get a date, The staff go through various personal question, where do I live and why I decided to bring my car here etc.
I just wanted to get a regular oil change and was told should be done in the same day but when I ring up the car is not ready so I need to come back another day to pick it up.
I have a personal experience owning BMW, I mean you throw money out the window one after the next.
The car keep on having oil leaking problems again and again then after a while the car having more problems such as the engine stop during traffic.
It took me a year trying to sell this car and eventually I decided to trade in for a very cheap price 1/10.
We now owned, driving a Lexus, could not be better I will never look back! Goodbye BMW brand.

The people at BMW Sydney know how to look after you. We were thoroughly impressed by Andrew Lau's professional approach. He listened to our requirements and made the process seamless.
Regrettably the after sales experience has not been as enthusiastic as one would expect from a luxury car dealer. I contacted Andrew to express my disappointment with the standard the car was presented to me at delivery (there were stains on the leather and various marks externally) . Andrew indicated he would respond within a few days... I am still waiting to hear from him even after I sent a reminder text to his mobile.
A word of warning to other purchasers, the car was presented to me upstairs from the main showroom. It similar to a poorly lit carpark. So if you have purchased a dark colour, have the car moved out into the light so you can properly examine the car's exterior and interior.

worst service, No call to let me know my car service was complete, call in the afternoon, on hold for 40mins, called back and they were closed, the following morning (7.30am) called back again on hold 20mins, spoke with someone about my vehicle, it said complete on my card, however manager needed to speak with me and would call me back, 1 hour later still no call, called back, had to get the manager but he was busy with customers, guy at the desk spoke to manager and reported back that the car can be collected, could have told me this yesterday.

Came in at about 11.30am on 1 March 2020 to the Rushcutter Bay showroom interested in the M3. Wanted to explore options for in stock model, have already test driven and am comfortable with the drive. Receptionist was very helpful and took my name and said we would be helped shortly. Spent approx 30mins browsing the cars while waiting for assistance from one of the several salesmen who were sitting idly talking in their office without serving any customers. Was not approached at all. Will go elsewhere to be helped with my purchase.

Got there & stood in reception for 15min whilst everyone ignored us, finally I piped up and was told used cars had moved to Alexandria? Thanks Steve! So caught a taxi to the address they gave me at 61 Oreardon street & found a Mercedes dealership?! Rang again and told "it's a bit further down the road"?! Finally got there & waited 10 min reception whilst again being ignored so I just walked up to a guy and demanded service, this guy was nice so won't mention his name. He went looking for the cars we had come to see, then came back to tell us that it was a "computer error" and all were not but in stock !! But they did have a more expensive one? We walked out in discust after wasting 3 hours of our day. Will never buy from this dealer on principal, read other reviews.

Where do I start...? Tony Wakefield is such an asset to this dealership, I was so impressed with his genuine down-to-earth caring and 'can do' attitude. I have bought a lot of new cars over the years, this is my first BMW, a New 118i M Sports, but never before have I experienced such professionalism and quality conversation without the sales spin from someone in Car Sales. The car was 5 weeks late because it was a custom order (features that I wanted, which weren't' in any of the extra packs) from Munich and the ship was running late, but I was offered a free loan car for 5 weeks. The delivery process was outstanding. Tony really takes his time to explain the features of the car and makes the whole thing such a genuinely exciting experience. I have bought several VW Golf's before, but the 'treatment' I received from BMW Sydney was truly 'next level.' Wow. My highest possible recommendation.

We've always had a good ongoing relationship with BMW Sydney, commencing around 1998. Since then we've owned three x 3 Series sedans and recently wandered into the new Rushcutters Bay showroom with the thought of maybe looking at an X1. We'd had an X1 loan vehicle during the last 12 months and were very impressed.
Our inquiries were dealt with by Sales Executive, Roshan Shettigar who listened to our needs, was not pushy in any way, understood what we required in a vehicle and showed us a selection of available X1 vehicles in stock. We really didn't need a test drive (previously having a loan vehicle for two days helped), a deal was settled, Roshan then taking us through the purchase process, making the sale very simple and easy every step of the way. We have nothing but praise for Roshan's professionalism and ongoing communication, looking forward to catching up with him when delivering our new X1 for servicing in the future.

I recently purchased a car from BMW Sydney and found the total experience professional and enjoyable. Saturday 13 October and the Sunday previous to that.
In particular I would like to mention Tristan who provided great service and attention to detail from the moment of our first telephone call, the to the collection of the vehicle.
Tristan's knowledge was extensive and his willingness to provide honest answers to all questions was appreciated. Nothing was too much trouble for Tristan and he made the whole process stress free and fun. Tristan was fast and detailed in his responses, including SMS messages through the week - any query I had was responded to in a friendly and complete way.
In addition, the attendants assisting with coffee and also the BMW shop were also very professional and nothing was too much trouble. I attended BMW the last two Sundays and was treated very well on both occasions.
So a big thank you to Tristan and this supporting him - a great job and definitely somewhere and someone I'd trust in the future.

AWFUL!!!! Told between $2900 and $3500 for a repair, and when I picked the car up (after nearly 4 weeks having been told a few days), the bill was over $5600!
Couldn't have been handled worse - my service manager was almost impossible to get a hold of, rarely returned calls and made it seem like this was no strange way to treat a customer.
TERRIBLE. Suggest everyone takes their car elsewhere!

Absolutely abysmal service. Took our car for service. We were told they'll call us the following morning to pick it up. By mid afternoon the next day we hadn't heard anything so I had to call from work to find out. Turns out it was ready but no one had bothered to call us. We were told we could pick it up except I was at work and my wife at this was on her way to pick up the kids from school. Then they said, pick it up tomorrow (Saturday). So I turn up around 2pm, no one has any clue about our car. It's not even in the pick up area. There are no notes, communication, messages. They tried to call two separate personal neither of whom answered. They basically had no idea where our car was n just walked away. By this stage my wife had dropped me off n taken the kids home (a fact that i memtioned clearly to them) n they didn't even have the awareness of offering me a courtesy car or at least calling me a cab. How you run a business like this is beyond me!! Last BMW I'll ever own that's for sure.
