Bring my car in for service due thinking it just need what the car call for brake fluid check. But My Specialist Ryan Mararac after take a look he spotted out other things and pointed out to me that I myself would never noticed or even see the problem. It s mostly the body part problems but without his specialist eyes i wont ever acknowledge they were there. He found a small chip on the windshield, the rubber cowl in front windshield is cracked and also the driver leather seat is cracked... and the good thing is all of those are still under guarantee.
Thanks to Ryan all the problems are taken care of. My car comes back as new and i am very happy with the BMW service center. Done a Good job

As a first time car buyer I'm always hesitant about bringing my car in for service. I've never been very educated when it comes to auto parts or mechanic work. However, Ryan Mararac was assigned to be my service adviser and I couldn't have asked for anyone better. He walked me through and explained what all my serviced entailed. He followed up with me every time the car was in a new stage of service and was flexible with me for pick up since I was out of town for work. Now every time I come in for anything I always request for him and he does an excellent job EVERY TIME!

I purchased a BMW at BMW of San Antonio last month and found this dealership to be exceptional. I initially made contact through their website and received a reply from a sales agent, Frank Jiang, within an hour. I then set up a test drive for the upcoming weekend.

Being my first BMW, I had emailed that I wanted to drive both the normal version and the diesel version, as well as see all of the three sport trim variants and the external colors. I also wanted to hear the sound system in a car with standard sound and one with upgraded sound. I am a fairly compulsive person and I know that this would take up a substantial amount of time but when I arrived Mr. Jiang had everything mapped out to maximize efficiency. Yet he allowed me as much time as I wanted so that I never felt rushed.

At the end of the test drives we ended up deciding that placing an order was probably the best way to get a car with the options I wanted. When I got home I researched a fair market value for the car and proposed this offer via email. I always hate negotiating the purchase price of a car and try to do my homework to make a fair offer. Mr. Jiang responded within 24 hours and we had a deal.

After signing the purchase order and placing a deposit, I was pleasantly surprised to see how much Mr. Jiang stayed involved. He sent me the official order that went to the BMW factory to verify the option list was accurate. He assisted me with getting set up on the BMW website so that I could then trace the car through its manufacture and shipping. Also, at least once a week, I received an e-mail from him to let me know of the car's status.

The car arrived on a Thursday and we set up Saturday for the delivery. When I saw the car for the first time, it had just been recently tinted. I found a few tiny pinpoint bubbles in the tint on one window. Within an hour Mr. Jiang made arrangements so that the person that did the tinting was there and they replaced the tint on that window. I was amazed at how responsive they were to immediately correct this. For me, this was a very good sign of the quality and integrity of a dealership. When little things go wrong, which can always happen, how a company responds speaks volumes.

One other pleasant surprise was signing ownership documents. I have been accustomed in other car dealerships to spending over an hour with someone that tries to talk me into extended warranties, etc. Then they fill out the documents there while I wait. At BMW of San Antonio, I was in and out in ten minutes. All the documents were filled out in advance as much as possible. The person asked me how long I plan to keep the car and I answered four years. He said if I was interested in an extended warranty they have those but the car warranty will cover me for the time I plan to own the car. Done. No hard sell. Just a quick offer of what was available.

Since I took delivery, I have actually had two follow phone-calls and e-mails from Mr. Jiang to see how things were going and did I have any questions. I have purchased cars all my life and have never had a salesman follow through to this extent.

In summary, I love this car. It is incredible. Purchasing it at BMW of San Antonio with Frank Jiang as my salesman was the most professional and exceptional experience I have ever had in buying a vehicle. I felt they treated me as if my time was valuable, were highly organized and professional, fair, responsive to making things right.

I rarely write reviews ... only when things are really bad .. or really positive. Then at those times I do like to share my experience for others.

Great buying experience!! Thank you Arish for helping us out from the beginning all the way to the end. This is my 4th BMW and by far the best car buying experience I have had (stateside). Arish was extremely nice and patience throughout the process, not pushy at all. I would also recommend purchasing your Bimmer here because of their large collection of available vehicles. Thanks BMW of San Antonio.

I received great service from the salesman, Mr. Alan Hernandez on Feb 25, 2020 while purchasing a 2017 BMW 740i sedan. He was very helpful in assisting me close out my loan with USAA Bank there in San Antonio.

He was also helpful in explaining the basic operations and other features of the car prior to my departing the dealership there in San Antonio

Awful! Zero stars if it were possible. No one wants to help, just getting a car pulled up for a test drive takes 40 minutes, & the salesman we got had NO interest in selling us a car. I felt like everything that happened from the time I got out of my car was an attempt to get me to leave. Apparently I don't have that BMW look...or smell like money. We walked out & no one noticed because they just don't care. SCREW YOU BMW OF SAN ANTONIO!!

Two years ago I purchased what I thought was my dream car. I was ecstatic to be an owner of a BMW, and disregarded every horror story I ever heard about the service department. In just 3 short months of ownership, I got my own dose of said horror, which carried on each time I visited the service center due to constant problematic issues. It was not until a few months when I met Jose and my thoughts were re-directed. He has forever changed my thoughts on BMW service center in San Antonio.

The day I met Jose, I was sitting on a bench looking at my invoice trying to understand the verbiage, stated resolved issues and future maintenance recommendations. Jose went out of his way to go over my entire invoice and explained to me with profound ability & knowledge of each item I requested more info on. The next time I returned to the Service center, I arrived to see Jose once again going above and beyond to satisfy customers. I had dealt with a few crappy service agents over my 2 year period and moving forward I knew the only way I would trust and feel comfortable continuing my relationship with BMW was through him. I have visited the service department several times since meeting Jose, and each time he does whatever he can to accommodate and ease my frustrations. He is friendly, experienced, smart, consistent, professional and goes that extra mile each and every time. Jose, you have been wonderful to work with at BMW and I appreciate you as well as thank you for keeping my business at BMW. You are a true rockstar.

We worked with Robert Lopez and are very happy with our purchase. Robert spent the better part of a day making sure we knew every answer to every question and ensuring we drove away with the perfect vehicle. The finance team was also accommodating and knowledgeable which made that part of the process much more pleasant. All in all, considering we only dropped by to comparison shop against similar brands, I would say Robert and the team at BMW exceeded our expectations as we never even made it to the next dealer for comparison . Came to this dealers parts department to purchase ...

Came to this dealers parts department to purchase a battery for my 2003 bmw x5. I didnt need my vehicle there to purchase it only my vin number. I was told this battery comes with a 2year warranty. A year later the battery dies and so to avoid making the trip back out to this dealer that is 30 min away, I decide to take it to my local orielly to charge it and test. They inform me the battery is no good. I tell them no worries and load it up to take it to BMW. I get there to take it exactly to where I purchased it (parts dept.) and they tell me they cant help me. I need to go through service department. Service department tells me that I need the battery in my vehicle here to be tested. I inform them that I can t because the battery is a bad battery and wont hold a charge. I asked them to please test battery and swap out under warranty. I paid good money for this battery. They were so kind as to suggest that i pay to have my vehicle towed so then they can test it. Are you kidding? I asked for a manager. Spoke to him and was told (very professional) that if I was un happy with this resolution to call the corporate number. During times like these when customer service is everything for businesses, you would think they would do everything in their power to help their customers. So I guess Im stuck with a 1 year old battery. So do not buy parts for your old bmw from here unless u plan on bringing in your vehicle to their service apartment to be tested if that part is bad.
Makes no sense. THEY DIDNT INSTALL THE BATTERY

I purchased my BMW brand new last year. I put down $25,000 cash and financed the rest through BMW Financial. My wife and I are expecting another child in a few months so she convinced me to trade in my sports coupe for a larger vehicle with a 3rd row and possibly lower my monthly payment. After visiting several auto dealerships around town I decided to go back to BMW San Antonio (Principle Auto) thinking they would give me top dollar for my trade in... after all, I did purchase this vehicle at top dollar from them. I found a vehicle that I was interested in purchasing, but it took them almost 3 weeks to clean the vehicle and make it semi presentable. The vehicle was finally ready, so I raced to the dealership to sign the paperwork... much to my surprise, they were only going to give bottom dollar for my trade. Keep in mind... my vehicle is in great condition and mileage is really good as well. They offered me $7,000 less than every dealership I visited. They barely gave me enough to cover my payoff.. Keep in mind I put $25,000 cash down. When I asked the sales rep why they offered me so much less than every dealership I visited... his response was... "yeah, we have to make your vehicle ready to sell and bmw depreciates pretty bad... This blew me away, after the fact that the person who sold me the car told me that bmw's appreciate the best and I would have NO problem if I ever wanted to trade. I'm still looking for the perfect vehicle, but I know now that BMW is NOT a good place to trade in a vehicle. What's so frustrating is that I used the "value your trade" tab on their website and they still offered me $11k lower than their own trade in indicator. When I asked the sales rep why they even have a "value your trade" tab if they ignore it and discredit it entirely... He said, "I have No idea why we have that." So.... word to the wise.... If you are looking to do a trade in, go somewhere else!! You will get more money going to other dealerships. DO NOT go to BMW first... see for yourself.

I am moving from Dallas to San Antonio and sad to learn I will miss BMW Sewell.

I came to this San Antonio BMW location to get a tire with low pressure fixed. I was greeted by a lady who mentioned she actually works in transportation and not in service. She was nice enough to bring the tire specialist. I explained to both that the car was a rental from Enterprise that BMW gave me while servicing my car. Also, they were nice enough to get me installed in the waiting area and the tire specialist promised to come back soon with an update. I told him, as he could see, that I was with an agitated 2-year old and would like an update ASAP so I wouldn t have to wait there too long. I also didn t want the staff to drop me at my hotel and pick me up after the repair because they might just take forever then.

After waiting for about an hour, while chasing my 2-year old around the building and trying to calm him down, I came out just to realize the car was still out there untouched. Someone approached me later and explained that the 1-hour delay was because he went inside and couldn t find me. Of course he couldn t! I was chasing my son around and his colleagues all knew that. Had he asked His colleagues, they would have told him I am with my son. And in any case, I was still in the building since the car was there. He could have spent a few minutes trying a little harder to look for me...

Could they have started working on the car? NO, they told me. They had to figure out who was going to pay and if I was fine with the proposal to get the tire changed. Fair Point! Long story short, it took my service manager 15-20 more minutes calling Dallas to ask if they were going to pay but couldn t speak with them. Probably because I was already very upset with the initial one hour delay, instead of giving me an update himself, he had his manager speak with me. I did appreciate the escalation but I pointed out that things took too long for my taste and I could see my son needed some rest.

It would take them one hour or more just to change a tire, which means I would have been there for at least 3 hours. I am not a mechanics but it is unclear to me why it would take that long just to change a tire. But at that point I had had enough and asked to leave.

At Sewell, even if I was a walk-in , they would have put me in a loaner (especially because I was with little kids) or they would have tried to address the issues in a timely manner. I understand the place is pretty busy; I don t understand that someone can t work hard enough to find me and update me on what needs to be done.

I am a BMW customer because the little details make a huge difference. Remember that! 2-stars because some of the staff smiled at my son and showed some care and because the manager/director came to speak with me.

I tried to schedule an appointment for routine service and a loud vibration with my 328i. Upon calling, the nobody answered my call, and finally the system hung up. Once I got a hold of someone, I was informed the soonest available time was just under four weeks away. The service department has always had lackluster communication skills, and they've failed to fix a persistent issue with the vehicle. Now, getting the vehicle in for service is taking weeks. Since the vehicle is under warranty, I've resorted to scheduling an appointment with BMW of Austin. I'm hoping even though I have to drive up to another city, the turn around for service will balance the drive time.

I took my 2006 X-3 in when I bought it used in 2013. I asked them to change the Transmission Fluid. They told me it was not possible because it was a LIFETIME transmission and Fluid Lubricant and the Tranny was SEALED. Being my Family has been in the Lubricant Business I doubted them. They did Manage to charge me 2,500. for and oil pan. I just purchased the Flipping Tranny Filter from BMW. Liars and Thieves.

Very disappointed in there customers service and compliance department. There's no follow up system once you make a compliant. According to the compliant customers service they send it up to headquarters and that's it. BMW are individual own so they can't do anything about the situation there management so called team put me in. I will never buy or recommend anyone to buy a BMW period very sad service why are they here anyway if the customer is wrong sad sad sad

This dealerships like most are all a joke, only there to line there own pockets. I was interested in purchasing a used Infiniti Q60 coupe. I asked the sales person if I could pay the taxes and other fees out of pocket, where it would then leave me with a original cost of the car to finance. They told me no they can not accommodate that, I asked why they said dealership policy - I asked, may I see the policy as all policies should be documented. The sales person, Biju then said the finance manager said no they do not accept payments separate from the total cost of the car. I have never heard of anything like this.

Juan ensured that I had a Loaner Vehicle waiting for me upon arrival. He personally walked me through the repairs. He kept me updated on the progress of the repairs. He's the face you want representing the BMW Brand!

I'd like to express my sincere appreciation to both my sales rep Don Wilinson and the my finance rep Robert Stuckey. Both these gentlemen went above and beyond to provide truly outstanding service. I arrived late to the show room the day I purchased the car. These gentlemen stayed there with me to complete the sale, it was 10:30 PM; 3 1/2 hours after normal business hours when we finally finished the paperwork. I left the dealership with my beautiful new BMW X5. Neither made me feel rushed. Each provided exceptional service. I couldn't have asked for two more knowledgeable individuals with exceptional customer service skills.

I pry just had the smoothest transition from an old lease into a new one. Yvonne who got me get into a m235i in 2015 went out of her in helping me turn it back in for a new 2017 430i. Not only was the process seamless and haggle free, but I felt like I left with a great deal as well. Yvonne knowing that it was tough work week for me, came over to my job to finalize the paperwork. If that's not great customer service, then I don't know what is. Anytime I'm at BMW Of San Antonio, I always feel taken care of, even it's just a simple rinse for my car. After many criticisms from friends and the internet of BMW of SA, I was hesitant to take my business there. However, upon a recent service of my 2011 BMW 328i, they seemed to be extremely helpful in the service department. I came in for a new battery registration, and they informed me of a open recall of the footwell module and replaced it for free. They also gave me a rent-a-car and were generous with the return of it. They are a small facility, however next year they are opening a new BMW location, which they claim will be the largest in the U.S. Also, some criticize the service department for taking too long. I've always had reasonable wait times for getting my car serviced. In summary, I approve their service department, due to their helpfulness and understanding. However, I typically avoid the dealership service price tag when possible, and take my business to other reputable local BMW auto shops for competitive prices. For their sales: I sadly totaled my 2011 BMW after the battery was replaced, and purchased a used 2014 BMW 428i. Their sales staff was very helpful and organized. I highly appreciate the honesty and helpfulness of the staff, particularly, Jared C. in the used sales department. His work ethic, tact, and attention was commendable. BMW of SA, has competitive prices for BMWs in the San Antonio area, and the CPO warranty is ideal for a used BMW. They're pretty stiff on sales negotiation, they will budge, but ultimately they are not overpriced. My BMW was financed. Their finance department was satisfactory, but understandable, due to the fact they were many individual used car sales employees, and fewer finance professionals. Overall, I had a good sales experience with great follow up. BMW of SA has definitely earned my business.

Had my car for over a week and did absolutely 0 work, except for washing it when the SA clearly put "do not wash" on the order and I had a hang tag up that said DO NOT WASH. They did offer to detail it, which took 3 days. 0 contact, I had to follow up on everything.

They said they'd send an estimate for repair work I wanted done. 2 weeks later I still haven't seen a thing.

Having worked with several BMW dealers over the years I have found BMW of San Antonio to offer exceptional levels of service and friendliness. My service adviser Ricky Barrow is always going above and beyond to make sure that my car and I are taken care of. It is easy to tell how passionate he is about the BMW brand and really takes the time to get to know his clients. I must also make special mention to the porters who help keep the smooth flow of traffic through the service drive and are always incredibly friendly. Considering the amount of cars passing through their doors it really means something that they take the time to know the customer and their car (even if they both are "high maintenance"). I look forward to visiting BMW of SA again and continuing to work with Ricky Barrow.

Well, after seen and read most all the 1 star comm...

Well, after seen and read most all the 1 star comments will not be surprised about my experience with my BMW X6; The first time I took it in was in Jan 2015 for a light engine issue, after 3 months in to the service the told me it was ready and fixed, well within 3 days the light came back on, and took it back to service and they told me was another issue then was another month till they had it fix, after that I had the worst service rep plus the service manager it is an absolute waist of time, blaming on my car that the X6 was a bad car, any way after I decided not coming back to them, hopping this car will be in good shape for a wile, well in May 2016 I had the same light and also a piston misfiring, well here is the best part, they did not want to get my car back because they were afraid of not being able to fix it, so they finally took it in, after 4 and half months they told me is ready, picked up the car and here we go again same going back now with other issues that transpire from the previous one, and took another 5 weeks, now I finally have my car and it is apparently fix, but now my extended warranty was drain by BMW San Antonio with over $18,000. dollars, the right mirror still not fixed, my back tools are gone vanish, my drain tray under the hood is broken and missing screes, the hood of my car the entire new wrap it is scratched, the interiors are stain with grease oil, my floor mats are damage, they kept my car out side most of the time, thanks to the wrap I install on my car it survived, I will never do business with these people again and I do have 2 other acquaintance that had experience the worse, they now take their cars to Houston, I just don't understand why BMW North America doesn't care about this matter, this is by far the worst service dealership in Texas as far I can see and I can also see I'm not the only one 49 other people complain about them...make you wonder why Momentum BMW another BMW dealers can say the same they have heard so many bad complains and issues. Bad ethics and poor workmanship will go nowhere.
To emphasis this and make it more clear, Lou Gatti the GM of service is the problem, the man can not accept and admit their mistakes, that is the biggest issue this company has, and I already have a friend who can say the same about this Lou Gatti, this man it is unethical and unprofessional, he literally told me with these exact words "I really don't want to see your vehicle again"...not because your mechanics can't fix the vehicle for over 5 months you will decline a costumer the right to bring the vehicle in to the dealership and get it fix perfectly and correct the mistakes, NO ONE in the right mind will answer that way, I can't not have any respect for an individual with that type of criteria in costumer service.

I went there with the idea to buy a BMW X5 on 3/21/19 and walked around their show room for almost 30 minutes and no one can up to me; each and every one of the fancy salesperson there were ignoring me or avoiding me on purpose. At some point one of the cleaning ladies, a very educated and kind janitor asked me if I needed something and she was the one who started asking every salesperson if they could help me and all of the them answered her sorry I don t speak Spanish finally one of saleman kindly helped me and even let me drive the car. All the others were either on their phone or the internet and walked out. I would" Never" do business with them very disappointed. I took my business to Audi North Park. Great service there. Got an Audi Q8.

I m so glad after 16 years of driving Yukon s, i went to a X5 BMW. The customer service is beyond amazing!! Ryan Watson and Maggie my service reps are hands down, the best ever, along with all the entire BMW service staff. They always take care of me, treat me like they ve known me forever. Ryan and Maggie text me right back to schedule a service appt, when i arrive always greeted by someone ASAP, then they always have a bmw loaner for me to drive until my car is done. Never had this kind of service with any GMC dealerships!

I found my car by going through USAA and saw it was at BMW of San Antonio. I called them and was assigned a staff salesperson. Jeff Cartwright helped me in every way, explaining all the paper work and disclosures. He took time to sit with me in the car and explain all the functions and possibilities of the control systems. I will recommend Jeff for anyone who wants to consider a BMW at their place of business. I am thrilled with the 535i I bought.

During a chat session they were unable to provide me with a very basic piece of information... How much an oil change runs. About 5 hours after I contacted them... I was informed they want $295 for an oil change... Note I am a member of several BMW forums and that is at least $100 over what others pay for the same car at other dealerships (it ranges from $150 to $175). Also note the actual parts cost $90, meaning labor is nearly $200... for an oil change. I will be taking my business elsewhere.
