My regular dealer for years, A lot of knowledge in this building. I think it is a great pity that when you come to trade in your car on an occassion, it is 1-1 the same if you get an average of 2000 less on your trade-in at another dealer. This has already happened to me twice with a quote. Maintenance is good, we no longer buy a new car here.

The worst garage ever!

First time a windshield was installed on my car. Still tuned in by phone and asked if all parts were present. Answer; 'Yes of course'. then sat in the waiting room for 1.5 hours (which, incidentally, could not be faulted), an employee comes to tell them that they do not have all the parts. Could this have been announced 1.5 hours earlier or in advance?

Then there was a problem with the roof of the car. Called for this and asked if they can look at this; answer;' yes you can, we also do this on Saturdays'. So drove there from the other side of town only to be told they don't do this on that day. Do leave the car for repair to be repaired the following Monday. The garage would call about this Monday afternoon. But they also failed to do so and after having contacted them by telephone themselves, it was not possible to look at the car.

Apart from the fact that the service is clearly substandard, I personally frustrated the nonchalance of the employees who, in my view, really have no eye for any form of customer service.

My advice: find a garage where they do take you seriously and drive past Van Poelgeest Amsterdam!

Hi, I had bad experience: electronic failure on the BMW so that the battery was empty running and the rear lights did not work anymore. I called that I wanted to bring him along because if I left him for another day, the battery would be empty so no longer drive. Answer: just bring it, direct service, maybe not today but as soon as possible. That was great, support for my bad luck. Thus done, fortunately the car just started ... I come there, I get to hear that it is not a direct service, no malfunction, but regular maintenance, so even if the car is broken: sir, you are in 3 weeks turn. Fortunately, Poelgeest BMW Heemstede was a lot more customer-friendly. I think BMW Amsterdam is too big, internal procedures and regulations blur customer focus. Iig me they would just leave three weeks with a broken car in front of the door so that I should call the roadside assistance or towing service.

Always well handled at BMW Amsterdam. We have now built up a good customer relationship with the employees. This provides good discounts and other benefits. Great that such sellers still exist. Everything is done to my car through the dealer because it is known there, then I only pay a few tens more, but the relationship between the company and the customer is preserved. This can ultimately result in a good service for the future. First see then believe, but until now we as a family do not have to go to another company.

I was there to ask a few questions about my Alpina (I got a message that the tire pressure check was broken, for example). After this question, I was pummeled after a few minutes (the employee apparently didn't know either) that I just had to 'sister and such' had to try.
About how I can replace the kidneys, I was also sent to the reed with a clod ('That's a trick, you just have to know'), but of course I didn't know that 'you know'.
Finally the rail cover of the front seat was loose and my question how I would get it back on. "No, it's broken, you can order a new one downstairs at the warehouse." When retrieving this one day later, it turned out to look exactly like the current one. So nothing was broken. In exceptional cases, I received my money back, as if it were a huge favor from BMW after poor information from them and I would have to squeeze my hands. Come on...

Prior to my visit, I considered switching to this garage, but I do not feel taken seriously at all and therefore abandon this.

I advise you to go to the BMW dealer in Amsterdam (Poelgeest) for maintenance / repairs etc!

Changing experiences. Just 3 stars on the edge. Several times with service still have to wait a bit longer or the car is not returned the same day. The latest setup with rows of seats to sit with the service man when bringing a car is also not a success. I feel you just have to wait longer. I just want to bring my car in the morning and have a replacement car. Do not sit first with coffee etc. I want to work, no intake conversation at the table for a service turn.

If you come up with a serious problem on your 520 touring for help, they charge you for the analysis and cannot find it! What comes next is downright shocking :: call the ANWB roadside assistance but they will pick up your car !!!!

Follow-up on July 25: The problem has now been solved at the colleague in Amstelveen (van Poelgeest), excellent service, acted quickly.

BMW Amsterdam has apologized (on July 21) and will refund the charged costs, was also the least they could do. My plans for the purchase of a new BMW have now been adjusted, because with the purchase you also want the guarantee of good service .....

On the good side, the building is amazing. I live in BMW s hometown city and in Munich I don t think there are many BMW dealers looking so nice and big.

On entrance there is a very welcoming lady asking if you need a coffee.

On the bad side, the service (I got, not the car got) is hardly satisfying.

I booked the service via email when I was still in another country due for traveling. I got an initial offer with a list of items that needed to be done. I checked with my poor German language skill and with the help of google translate, I found that they missed one item. I wrote back and they added, updated the price. I asked if that was the final offer, and I specifically made it clear that I didn t want any more surprises.

And guess what? Today when I arrived, they asked for more than 25% of the price they offered. I had to show the PDF I got to them, after seeing which, they agreed to the formerly agreed upon price but still added one more item and charged me more.

I feel like the whole thing is not professional, even close to a scam, trying to tip off foreigners.

The service and quality are in no relation to the beautiful building. What a scammer's place this is. Much more expensive and unfriendly than BMW garages in the surrounding municipalities. The technicians write with a fork. Don't be dazzled by the cup of coffee on offer and the impressive building.

Bad experience with BMW Amsterdam. My BMW 5 series brought to the workshop for maintenance. During the collection, I noticed paint damage on the front of the bumper. In the end this turned out to be done by a customer who admitted this himself.

It was agreed that the dealer would repair this damage with the end result, whereby the damage would no longer be visible. I expected that my 5 series would be returned to its original state, but that turned out not to be justified.

It was clearly visible that it had been repainted. Wrong sprayed, paint layers clearly visible and there is paint on the BMW logo. People, never come here!

Super garage !!! Friendly, good and skilled people (both maintenance and sales). If you go for maintenance you get a comparable car, clean and all, and not an old barrel as a replacement for your own car. Highly recommended for everyone!

We had without a doubt the worse costumer service.



Long story short after paying for them to check into what was the issue, the guy (Gert) who attended me basically went on rant to accuse me of wanting to score a free head light from them! Not even listening to what I had to say.

It was extremely disrespectful and I have never been treated this way.

After several PAID checkups and with different diagnosis they DID not manage to fix the problem unless I paid another 3000 !

It's like someone else reviewed: Are you incompetent or too greedy?

We finally gave up and found another great garage! DO NOT go here!

Joined BMW Amsterdam for over 15 years. Always been satisfied with the service and the contact with the employees there. Much has changed there in recent years. She moved into an impressively beautiful building. Unfortunately, many of the familiar faces disappeared after that. Telephone accessibility deteriorated. Everything had to go online as much as possible, could not be done by telephone. That was often very cumbersome and certainly not customer friendly. The involvement and friendliness of the employees themselves also decreased considerably. No longer the need to help you as a customer or to think about a solution. At some point, the measure was really full for me. After so many years, I have now switched to another dealer. Really a relief.

We have been repeating customers but this time we are finally fed up! Never coming back!
We have a BMW 5 series. Last year we had smoke from the exhaust. Went there FIVE times, every time they claimed to have found the problem, charged us hundreds, if not thousands, for the "fix", only to find out later that it did not work! I paid in total more than 3K mainly because they charged for their time---time not well spent though. This year we have "check-brake" alarm a couple of times, again, they said they know the reason, charged hundreds, but then the problem comes back. The most recent "conclusion" is: "the brakes are not BMW original, you have to change them". Are you serious!? You did not see that last time you investigated the situation? Are you incompetent or too greedy?
