Good room great pool and hot tub friendly staff..no view from my room but maybe next time
Great place to visit browse the stores walk the trails. The scenery is spectacular and the people are always nice. I'd recommend staying overnight for a romantic getaway!
Great place for canadia and obviously ski lovers, I tried to ski first time in my life and that was something special experience. Instructors were so kind supportive just every Canadians do. Explore the blue mountain...public parking-yes. Complimentary shuttle service for actual destination-yes
Excellent place to spend your days in outside activities like biking, hiking, trekking etc. Also there are plenty of other activities. There are cottages where you can stay and enjoy your evening.
Their "current attraction status" website isn't always accurate, best to call and check before heading up. Wanted to surprise the children so I bought tickets and drove them up after school. When we showed up we were told that the hours just changed and everything was closed or about to close and that it's not their fault the "current status" website wasn't updated. The playground and village are nice, we will visit again, likely in the winter.
Me and my family always come here every summer because we always do the cottage and it is in wasaga
Village market with some unique shops and resturants
So much fun for families with children. It could be expensive if you had to eat out for every meal. We got a room with a small kitchen so that we didn't have to eat out so much.
Excellent place to spend the long weekend where you can enjoy the beauty of nature, sport and shopping.
Blue Mountain October 2019 Barbe and Colin this one is for you ..
On a very busy Saturday at Blue Mountain in Collingwood, our family experienced possibly the very best customer service of all time. That day our family became interwind in a dilemma that was upsetting to our four children. With very limited options, I went into the Guest Services Centre at Blue mountain where you purchase tickets and passes. It was at that moment that two incredible staff members teamed up to not only rectify my problem, but to show the true definition of kindness and caring. They came up with a solution that was unexpected and will be a memory our family will cherish forever. Our children are still smiling ear to ear and this experience is one we will never forget. A huge thank you and high five to COLIN and BARBE you two went way above and beyond, and we appreciate everything you did. Your cheerful personalities, smiles, patience and kind nature really show that you are not only amazing people, but by far are meant for this field. You thought out of the box to give our family an experience that they have been waiting months for. Thank you so much, we will always remember this moment, you both are amazing. We look forward to returning in May for our annual family stay.
Very clean very spacious and everything was in close proximity. Just a few minute walk over to the village where there were many events, restaurants and shops. Highly recommended
Blue Mountain's web site shows misled snow conditions, guest service manager Elizebeth - rude and difficult to deal with.
I don not recommend for a quality skiing.
On the Christmas day based on Bluemountain web site, which showed the snow conditions of the mountain making plenty of snow, we spent 2 hours one way to start the Christmas, expecting to have some snow. As it turns out in the morning, starting 9 am, only few snow blowers were operating and most of the trails were covered in ice, which makes skiing very unsatisfying. We were misled by the information on your web site.
In addition to that we had a chance to approach guest service manager Elizebeth (she introduced herself as a manager) expressing our dissatisfaction after spending only 1.5 hours that s the time it took for my wife to downhill from one of the trails, because of the icy conditions. Elizebeth has refused to issue full refund, since we used the mountain for 1.5 hours , even if that s how long took for my wife to downhill, without having an idea about the actual trail condition.
If we knew, your web site information was accurate accurate reflection of the conditions stating that only some snow blowers are operating and the icy trail conditions, we would have not wasted our time. As a result we left at 10.37am, being extremely disappointed with your customer service, misled information and waste of pressures time (close to 6 hours) during the Christmas.
Stayed at mosaic for two nights and had a great time. So much to do even in the summer. Will definitely be back next year.
We stayed at Embarc for my birthday and had a lovely time! The staff were accommodating and friendly, the place was clean, and it was relaxing. Would definitely go again!
Cute little village, lots of activities for the kids and plenty of food options.
Decently long runs. The rental Chalet is CRAZY busy. I waited two hours to get gear. Didn't return back until I bought my own skis.
Lovely little shops and delicious food. Rusty's used to be my favourite but their new menu is seriously leaving compared to how it used to be, so it's awesome to try new places in the village
Highest Vertical drop in this part of Ontario, I always enjoy my time on the slopes.
Such a fun place to visit! The village is incredible
Long line up for lift ticket, then long line up for equipment, then even longer lineup for lift up to top. 20 minutes for the magic carpet, 15 minutes for the express lift. Not much improvement from the past since there's increased population as well.
Absolutely beautiful area and resort. The views are stunning and the village is very Harry Potter-esk, giving it a kind of old feel. Food selection from the restaurants on the resort is excellent and some places have great specials depending on what time of your you're there, like springlicious.
My wife and I spent a couple days after we cancelled your trip to Varadero due to Irma. We stayed again at Season's at Blue, had a great time as always. We also had a wine tasting at The Roost at Redwing, this is a must if your in the area.
Went for a day trip with the wife and kids. Bought an all day activity pass. Went on ridge runner mountain coaster, gondola ride, paddle boat. Masks required for all activities. Also available but need to book time slot is tree top trekking for 7 and older, I didn't know in the morning and they were fully booked a few hours later. Rock climbing was temporarily closed, restaurant access limited to patios and sufficient seating for takeout options. Walked down the ski hill which was fun. Made for a great day of family fun. Did their best to keep washrooms clean but one of them was out of paper midday.
Lots of fun. Good place for a day trip or a night stay. Rides are a bit expansive if you compare to other resorts. Management should allow few more food stalls to help diverse community.
I occasionally go to this ski resort when I'm looking for a more challenging ski day after some significant snowfall. I believe this is the tallest public ski/snowboard resort near the Greater Toronto Area, and the slopes are long and challenging. However, sometimes the snow is icy and the website often provides misleading information to make the snow seem better. They do groom the snow twice a day (once during the night, another at around 4 pm), which is nice.
Very friendly and professional staff. We made an error on our end while booking, but they were able to sort it out for us very quickly!
We were on vacation and stayed at the Rivergrass Resorts. The checkin and staff there were excellent and very easy to contact as well as get help. The village was very nice as well with a variety of food options and activities. Only reason I an giving 4 stars was the cost of the attractions when buying the day pass. With the limited numbers allowed due to COVID they should have reduced the cost. The staff were very vigilant in ckeaning and ensuring our safety.
Place is beautiful. But for $98 bucks to ski you would expect more... The service is absolutely ridiculous. Today DEC 25TH, 2017 The rental place opened at 7:00pm to pick up skis for the following day. After waiting in line for more than 1 hr, the ski rental stop taking people at 8:00pm and we did not make it and no COMMUNICATION was provided... this experience put me in such mood :/
Had birthday party for five family nmemebrs who birthdays bi. January. Oliver and Bonachini didb a great job taking care of our party of 16.
Monterra was good
Excellent shape
.very good pace of play
Great experience. Snow was removed from road quickly. No problem of driving.
Awesome experience during the 2017 OCR world championships. Hope it's there next year. Definitely recommend this for any event. Just beautiful.
There is only one Blue Mountain. Spectacular for the family.
Gotta be the best place in southern Ontario to ski, lots of fairly long trails, lift ticket prices are fair while food and drinks are overpriced. Still 5 starts cause their trails are the best.
The best Ontario can offer! If you are coming from the GTA just for a day you can plan your trip either for the first tracks at 8:30ish or come a bit late and enjoy the regrooming around 3:30!
And please check the weather before you leave and blue mountain's website for the current conditions!
So impressed with the service at Mosaic! They went above and beyond every single day. LOVE the text feature to the front desk...can quickly ask a question and they were incredibly accommodating. Beyond impressed. We stayed with our two boys, 3 and 6, and they had a blast! There was enough for the 3 year old to do and keep him busy where normally he's too small for most activities. It wasn't too busy which made it perfect for us w small kids. We had the crappiest weather but still had an incredible time! I'd highly recommend taking advantage of the fall deals, just dress accordingly and you will be fine. We will definitely be back!! Thank you for the incredible get away. We desperately needed it!
The resort is a tourist trap meat grinder.
Overall the staff seem generally unhappy and uninterested in the customers they're serving at the restaurants etc. That to me, signal a serious issue with staffing and management.
The prices are high. Even by resort standards.
For the 12-14 minutes it takes to go to Collingwood, unless you're staying there for the sole purpose of convenience skiing it's worth it to stay elsewhere and eat elsewhere.
I feel like there are better options out there for better value. This place kind of just feels like a snow Disney tourist trap.
Ontario is lucky to even have a little spot like this. It's just too bad the owners know it as well which is why you're probably paying $110 for a day pass. Honestly though the only time this place is tolerable is early morning with a foot of fresh powder which is rare. From the long lineups to the icy slopes you would figure for $110 at least they could do is make some snow!
The service is very poor, nobody cares at all.
no heat was in my room for two days, the resort was fully booked so they couldn t swap my room , after the check out they told me that the amount put on hold will be released in 4 to 5 business days but so far 3 weeks and not released yet, called the resort many times , got another promise that the hold will be released in 2 days but it s not released yet .
Wasted my time calling for the hold release.
So crowded place
I don t think I will go back and I will tell everybody about my bad experience.
My family and I had a wonderful experience in Blue Mountain. Tons of activities and for all the ages!
Cozy atmosphere. Good restaurants. Great activities
It s a small resort but it s beautiful. Good place to go skiing. Lots of shops nearby.
Beautiful resort and village area, great for a weekend getaway summer and winter. Plenty of activities and dining options in and around.
The suites are not cheap, but are really nice. The village is really festive and fun. The snow tubing is fun with a group of people. The skiing conditions are pretty good for southern Ontario and a good variety of runs although quite short. The skating loop at the top of the mountain is pretty cool but again not cheap.
Good place to go with family to enjoy the nature and walk but prices whatsoever is extremely exaggerated
First time visitor. Great atmosphere and staff so friendly. Stayed for weekend. Just shopped no skiing.
We ski every weekend at Blue Mountain and it is a great family resort. The lodges and facilities are clean for meal times and the lifts and operators are great. Varied level of runs and good signage and trails to move around with ease. The hills can get a little icy but they work hard to groom and make snow to combat icy conditions. Would definitely recommend Blue Mountain.
Poor rating because of hotel room.
Went for a 3 night stay with a family of 4 at the mosaic. For what we paid for the room I expected something nicer. Junk on the patio, boarded up window, loud delivery trucks woke us at 6am every morning,a plug didn't work. Room service didn't tidy or bring towels until 5pm. The plunge and ski hills were a hit so 5/5 for those. We all love the village and activities. Restaurants are great.
Beautiful time to visit. Had a great time in the village. Did some tobogganing, had lunch at Copper Blues, ate some Beaver Tails and drank some hot chocolate...the kids had a blast.
45 minutes in line... still haven t checked in yet..
Why?
Nine terminals but 4 front desk people.
Also- half the guys in line were only for a change/ update or just information!!
I mean I don t know much of hotel business but a separate counter that say INFORMATION/ GUEST SERVICES sounds logical..
And like I said- yet to check in so would not know how the stay is going to be..!!?
Do try all the rides in summer. Try finding deals on groupon
Nice place to hang out with family, especially night trail in the blue mountain village
I tried to book a room and ski package with Blue Mountain online and they charged my credit card but never gave me a reservation. It took them 3 days of investigating to even find the charge that they sent to my credit card and they sent me a receipt saying that I was refunded but I have not received that money yet. It also did solve the issue of me not having a reservation and now I do not feel comfortable sending them money again. Very disappointed.
Nice to get up the mountain in the summer, the views are spectacular. The staff are always helpful and nice.
It is a bit expensive, but worth it to break up the social fasting.
We went into the village and had dinner at Fire Hall Pizza. It is extremely busy so we out our name on the wait list and went to a nearby pub. Came back and got our table. Food was great, but on the pricey side. Almost $10 for a pint
Skiing was ok. They need huge dump of fresh snow. Long lift lines due to Christmas break so only skied for 4 hours but we had fun.
Stayed at the Westin Trillium and the room and service was great. Had a one bedroom suite with a kitchenette and fire place and view of the village. Would definitely stay there again
The service, policy is very bad. I booked 2 rooms 5 days ahead via Expedia . It was my fault that I didn't check the weather forecast before booking. On the next day, I checked the forecast and it was supposed to rain so I tried to change my reservation. First, they claimed that we can change our days earlier to accommodate our road trip schedule. But, they said we have to change it to a two nights booking instead of one night to take the good weather day. Not only that is not my plan to sleep two nights there, the forecast on the last day was also raining. Then, I asked if I could use money to purchase the lift tickets and rental instead of hotel room. But, they still refused us. They are only willing to give us a room credit for later use, which I have explained to them was not useful to us as we don't live in Canada. Their attitude is basically got your money and who care about your problem. In summary, 1) they knew it would rain but took our reservation anyway 2) they won't let us change to another day unless they can up sell us for one more night. 3) they won't let us spend the money with them on lift tickets instead of the room. We end up go there anyway as we don't want to just got charged for nothing. The slope condition was as bad as it could after raining. A blue slope turned to icy double black diamond level speedy slope.
Great staff and restaurants. I will definitely be back. Nothing negative to say.
Very expensive for just getting lift tickets, but the tickets give you a lot of time on the hill. Chair lift lines are long but once on the chair it moves quickly. Lots to do there for the family and if your not on the hill, good for a weekend getaway but a little pricey for a day trip
Love this resort. Bthe amenities and restaurants are fantastic
We requested a village room and we had the most amazing view overlooking the stage and splash pad. The room was spacious and very clean, honestly wouldn't change a thing!
Good local ski hill. Gets a little pricey at times though.
Lots of activities. Nice places to eat and lots of shop. There can be a bit of queue though for the activities. But totally worth it. Nice staff
Despite paying the ultimate price to stay a couple if nights in the village we did not receive great service from the rides and the people that work in there except our hotel " mosaic" and "Kaytoo Restaurant" which they were amazing.
The "Karen"s that work in the ride guest service seems not to like my middle eastern looks . me and my kids all had wrist-band for all day pass that was provided from our hotel but this "Karen" she kept asking me about which hotel and which room number i am staying in just to book time to do the rope and bike rides ... I am sure sometimes they ask/ but this one was definitely asking in sort of disbelieve or suspicious that our wrist band were counterfeit.
I am multiple business owner in Toronto and i would never treat any of my customers like that even when i have thieves walk into my store i treat them with professionalism ... specially when i see someone is carrying $4000 LV wallet ... but this Karen was in a totally different world .
Although there was a young guy he was very sweet and polite and joked with us while we were booking the bike but he was one out of the 10 Karen's that were very rude to us .
I am not going to spend that kind of money to stay in that village anymore to be treated like that. i'll take my business somewhere else in our beautiful Ontario there are many amazing locations .
I love it there . The employees in the village are all so helpful . The variety is amazing can't wait to go back
Hmm. Really overrun and not a comfortable place to simply relax. Check out the restaurant reviews and you will find that the majority are 3 stars. No doubt, given the short season, proprietors try and jam in as much as they can in order to generate $. Okay. Not great and not a quintessential Canadian experience.
Awesome place. So much to do here. Ropes course, skiing, trail hiking/running. Beautiful views!
Large crowds, you need to have a day pass to walk the mountain.
Awesome minus the bugs and bee stings and the no talking rule is more annoying to me then calming but everything else was great I wouldn't get a year pass but to go occasionally and the age group average was much older then me and my friends so we felt uncomfortable being around mostly older men who seemed to be there alone. No one spoke to us well except to be told to be quiet Hahah. Nevertheless its a must do for the outdoor experience
Amazing service. Rooms were super clean. We enjoyed the spa type hot tubs and pool area. Staff made our stay memorable as it was our 1 year aviveraary.
Best place to stay for adventures all year long. Great and friendly staff at the front desk and Housekeeping. Kudos!
Nice variety of activities for all ages even during the summer. We stayed in the Village. Too bad the units are starting to show their age. Ours had no working exhaust fan and the fridge door was about to fall off. We could feel the springs in the sofa bed. We had to request that the toaster be replaced - twice!
Great activities throughout the day, but security can be a bit much though. They kind of operate like park rangers at night and can be very unfriendly in the village establishments.
Blue mountain is warm and inviting no matter what season. A great place for a bachelorette
Incredible four seasons resort. Very friendly and helpful staff
Beautiful ski resort with all kinds of restaurants and shops and great hotels.
Great experience can be expensive but not to be missed. You might just get that bargain too or a special Christmas decoration for your tree at the seasonal shop.
We come here annually for a family Thanksgiving getaway. The condos are clean and the views are fantastic. Blue Mountain always has a good roster of events planned at the Village- usually different events for different age groups. Love the shops, as well.
Nicely market trails with good mixture of hard technical ones with flowy ones. Staff was very helpful and picking up rental bike fast/easy.
Great contained village. Everything you need is here. Just get your wallet ready
Great sky village with great service and amenities. Not necessarily big, but I see that as a good thing.
