Love the village, so much to do with the family. Unfortunately it's super expensive so we act a fool and BYOB. If you've got money to burn this is the place to do it. If you don't it's still a riot

It is a very beautiful place, close to nature. One should definitely visit the blue mountains at least once during both winter and summer. The resort offers a wide range of options for skiing starting from beginners to experts. They offer equipment rentals as well for people who do not own their own equipment. The mountain is open for skiing and snowboarding till 9 pm even in winter, which is really great. The mountain is very well lit and organized for smooth operation. Wonderful experience!
Did the Timber Challenge and it is so worth the time and money. So much fun and an amazing workout, and the staff are fantastic. 10/10 would almost die again!
There is plenty to do in the summer there but pricey. The shops are typical ski village shops, expensive and niche. I believe they have a pretty active downhill mountain biking but not sure. Hiking and chairlift are in full swing during summer.
Beautiful day to go to Blue Mountain. Not too crowded and was able to walk around and even purchase a beaver tail. First time being here for an hour to enjoy day parking and a walk around the village. In the future I would pay to do some events like going up the mountain or renting a paddle boat. Was pretty and welcoming not exactly what I expected but I would come back.
Blue mountain resort is beautiful, has a wonderful nice village to wander around and eat in. Along with many activities and events going on all the time
Lots of variety when it comes to different runs or terrain to ski. Great food options, a little pricey but that is expected. Beautiful views of Georgian bay.
Beautiful grounds and a lovely ski resort! As a West coast girl, I found myself more at home here, as I do with most of northern Ontario. Wish we had more money and time to learn to ski but we had a blast tubing and enjoyed our stay heavily at the Westin. Cute little village and pretty maintained in snowy conditions.
My only negative was the lack of options for food in the village. It's all very high end and the reviews for them are very low. I would love to see a Tim Hortons put in the village and more family friendly options.
We will definitely be returning to learn to ski next winter!
Blue is my go to resort here in Southern Ontario. Longest runs in Ontario and the most lifts and trails. Although prices have gone up over the years, they continue to expand and improve the overall customer experience. You can still get amazing deals, for example Coca-Cola Mondays!
Friendly staff, the snow was great, and midweek there are less people. The terrain allows for fun to be had by all and with plenty of variety. The grooming between day and night helps keep the snow good all the time.
Was there for a conference. Service was good. Great restaurant selection, but find that some close too early on some week nights. Great views. Well maintained property.
Fun experience always. Try to buy your ski/snowboard equipment if you can afford it. This can avoid a very long wait on the line for those that want to rent.
Blue mountain is a great place to spend an afternoon with friends and family! Skiing, snowboarding, eating and drinking are all available steps from each other! What more could you ask for!
The blue Mountain experience. Park at the Inn with the ticket office closed. Told to walk to the guest office by the lift operator. 20 mins walk on the road with all the equipment with traffic blowing right beside us. Came to snowboard. Not walk beside traffic.
A nice place but really OVER RATED and OVER PRICED. I m giving the front desk person Ciara at Grand Georgian a five star service, she was amazing and very helpful. Because of her, she gave us an impression that our stay at the resort will be awesome. The resort is open to the public, not just for those staying at the resort so the whole resort is full of people that you can t enjoy anymore because of super long line ups. Plus one restaurant Copper Blues ruined our Christmas when we had our Christmas lunch there. My family didn t get to go tubing because of the long line ups and skating was closed during our 3-day stay. We stayed at Seasons at Blue in a 1-br plus den. It comes with a full kitchen. It s clean but outdated. Front desk at season s not very friendly - probably sad/upset that she s working during the holidays.
It's the best ski hill in Ontario. The terrain is diverse and vast and the lift are all fast. Nevertheless, it's not the most family friendly resort as there are only few green/easy blue runs. Some of the cons are the information about ski terrain is not always available. They may close part of the lifts/runs from some reason but fail to update the website, so you may end up in one part of the hill without being able to ski to your car parking location. The grooming especially during the evening ski hours might be bad or not existent making the terrain bumpy and very dangerous especially with so many skilled-less skiers/snowboarders around the hill. Lift tickets prices increasing yearly but you can buy in advance to save. Season passes are reasonably priced, especially if you buy in spring. Restaurants prices usually 50% more then in any other place and hotels are pricey as well. I understand it's supply and demand but at least I expect a decent meal and a good service in a restaurant that charges 18 dollars for a salad, which is not always the case in Blue.
The room was large and the beds comfy. The balcony overlooked a main walkway and had a view of the bay. Kitchenette had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The resort attractions are a five minute walk from the hotel as well.
A good place for a conference. That was the reason for coming here. There's lots of free parking. There are numerous options for accommodation and dining. The conference centre is fine.
Nature has been replaced with accommodations. Lots of construction. If you've seen and experienced the refreshing air of "real" mountains, you'll find that Blue Mountain is more of a manicured hill. If you ski and come during winter (rather than fall), you may be satisfied.
The place might be amazing but don't expect an amazing service. I wanted to cancel a gift certificate that was bought for myself. BM policy is 45 days to cancel with no exception - this is unfortunate that a large company does not have an exception policy. How can you provide a great service if you cannot put yourself into your customer's shoes? Thank you Sally for your lack of empathy & professionalism.. you definitely didn't miss out on giving attitude and hanging up on me! Great companies don't only have great product, they must also have great service and great people... lots of work ahead for Blue Mountain!
Loveeeeeeed our blue mountain date. We visited on the Thanksgiving weekend so it was packed and it took us over 2 hrs to get on the gondola... but its beautiful!
Blue mountain is such a beautiful place. We stayed for 3 days, 2 nights and had a great time. The hotel we stayed at on the resort was pet friendly so our dog got to come with us as well. They had a pretty big fenced area for our dog to run around in, which she loved! The staff through out blue mountain including the hotel were so friendly. I hope to return soon.. with our dog again!
Great place for family time almost any season. We are excited for the winter season to get some skiing in.
Let it snow let it snow! The village in the winter is alive and full of people having a good time. The lines can be really long some weekends and holidays if your looking to get a lot of skiing in do not go here on a holiday.
Stayed at the Seasons at Blue resort in the Village with my wife and 2 young daughters. 2 bedroom suite was spacious, clean, and family friendly.
We had a blast, really enjoyed being close to food, entertainment and the Plunge pool (went everyday). Weather was beautiful and the staff were very helpful during check-in/out. Highly recommended and will be back.
I love coming here no matter the season. Shops are plenty and beautiful. Restaurants are great and something for everyone and the village itself is stunning. I hike up the mountain in the summer and the view of the lake on a sunny day is out of this world. I wish to retire here someday
Was disappointed bought Play all day passes a month ago. Alot of things were booked for the day as we stood in line before 10:00. So missed out on alot of the fun stuff. Resort guests and pass holders should have gotten some form of priority
Stayed in the apartment style rentals above the village. Have been coming here for years and always have a good time. Lots of eating (wait times can be a tad outrageous) options but be prepared to pay high prices. Lots of fun activities like pool, a mountain coaster and hiking. Fair warning, very family friendly so it can get pretty noisy but nothing unexpected. Would always recommend.
There are visible tea/coffee stains on cups. Light bulbs went out were not replaced. Clean towels were provided But dirty towels were not removed from guest room.
Edit: After posting this review, the both lighting has been fixed and room become very tidy and clean. The remaining stay was very enjoyable. The mountain is beautiful. The amusement park there is great for family with kids complete with outdoor movie theatre. Even my husband loves the ride and mini golf.
Love the village vibe and you don't have to drive anywhere once you get there. They have all the activities, restaurants, and nightlife in the village!
Suites in the Weider section are in dire need of an update.Parking was a nightmare and theres a 15.00 daily fee.No smoking allowed not even on the adjoining balcony .If youre caught theres a 130.00 charge. No free wifi either, 30.00 a day..This place just squeezes theyr customers for extra $$$.Not impressed at all.
The resort used to be amazing, but since it was sold to an American company, the prices have sky-rocketed, the service was streamlined to save costs. Slowly getting priced out of the resort. Lodging in the village is... OK-ish at best. Looks nice, until you drop something under the couch. Horribly dirty. Given choice, Blue Mountain Inn is a much better place to stay in.
Place was lovely and beautiful and lots of people were there as well. Most of the attractions at the resort were open. The price seemed a little expensive, overall was a great experience!
Great getaway in the heart of Ontario. Rooms are clean and spacious. The 2 bedroom chalet style suite had plenty of amenities. Access to a full kitchen is a great perk. Very easy check in and a mins walk to blue mountain village makes it a fantastic place to stay.
Great place to shop eat and be merry! Go for a hike up the village way or catch some rays on Rusty's patio. Great atmosphere full of welcoming staff with great service. Best chicken strips can be found at kaytoo along with karaoke on Wednesday night. The ridge runner is fun and exciting and the new chutes and lumber is great for little children.
I went there in winter and for those who know to skate or snowboard, it's the best playground. If you're a beginner there are freebie beginner packages more apt for those who live nearby. Not suitable for freebies who live far away in the city. However you can visit the village, do snow tubing and ridge mountain coaster. There are other fun activities like scenic caves, sleigh rides in winter. Definitely a day out if you plan it well.
