Busy place. Lots going on. Pepper palace is a great shop to get your hot sauces.
The place is great, and not so much at the same time.
The rope adventures are great fun, but poorly executed, so we spent more time waiting, on the ground or on the course, than we did tackling the obstacles and the course runs themselves. There are 8 different courses - 3 green, 3 blue, 2 black - but we spent 2 hours not getting more than two runs in total.
The adherence to masks was great.
The contact tracing everywhere is great.
The safety of everyone is well looked after, with one way paths and separate entry/exit doors everywhere.
An awesome place to visit summer. Picnic spot, caves, resort ,rides and many more.
Staff is friendly with excellent service, what a way to start the weekend.
I love this resort. However, they are extremely expensive and they are not above nickel and diming you. For example, you have to pay for wifi - almost no one does that anymore.
Fun for the whole family. Lots of activities to do with a cozy atmosphere.
Wow! That's what I have to say and I want to single out two individuals who made our visit enjoyable. Nancy at Guest Services. What a professional. So helpful in getting us organized with activities for the day and a true credit to the team at Blue Mountain. Next, Nat Kat who was our Segway tour guide. Awesome job of preparing us for a fun Segway tour. Patient, humorous and just a fun person. Thanks so much Nancy and Nat for making our day at Blue Mountain such an enjoyable one.
Family fun for all ages. Good affordable food selection for all tastes.
Amazing time , we dont want to leave.....girls weekend
Loved the hike and the trails and how well it was maintained despite Covid. The precautions taken made my family feel safe to get out there and enjoy the hike.
Terrible experience drove 6hrs to stay 2 nights reserve pool time. Get to pool and filled with bugs. The whole pool not parts the whole pool. Called front desk they sent me to manager and she told me nothing they could do as I asked to be switched to indoor pool. I would never recommend this place.
Beautiful place, could be considered as Mount Tremblant of Ontario!
It's close to our accommodations and there are lots of activities in the village - if you want to pay the high prices.
Have a 5x7 pass and go often. Biggest hill in Ontario
Amazing views if you're looking for quite, peaceful place then you should definitely go there l. I had an amazing time there, took some really great pictures and most importantly has lots of fun
Great Day @ Blue Mountain....not too hot, no line-ups. Lots of fun!!
Elvis festival was just amazing. Gordon Hendricks sings and Talks like Elvis. Blew my mind.
Blue mountain is a awesome resort for year round activities.
The resort was pretty great and had everything one could desire. Nice restaurants in the area with also some cafeteria like places. good place to kick back and relax
Best ski slopes in Ontario. Nice village. A bit too far for night skiing from Toronto (Moonstone makes more sense), but better for week/weekend.
Went to Blue Mountain this past Saturday (22nd August) for the Play-all-day pass and it since the beginning of booking the staff has done a great job. I drove from my hotel to the P2 Day Parking around 8:30 am got a great parking spot, and waiting in line for the Activity Central location. By the time we got there (8:45 post Starbucks grab), the line was already quite long and Segway tours was fully booked up. But when we got to the front, we booked the Timbers tree top trekking. We played mini putt, rode the gondola, did a spontaneous hike and did the exciting trekking. After the long day we got a well deserved beer and food at an Irish pub and headed back. Overall, beautiful weather and such fun memories. I booked our passes roughly two weeks before departure. I know weather can be unpredictable, but don't wait too long because they sell so quickly. Bring water bottles with water before hand, and sanitizer. Yes the village was busy, but we kept our distance and used sanitizer.
Very nice but music too loud in restaurant. Staff very friendly. They serve a Christmas turkey dinner. Lots of thick sliced meat but no gravy
This review is for the ski resort, although it would appear that google thinks it is a hotel. In any case, kudos to Blue Mountain for having the best grooming, and working hard to make the skiing good given the awful weather of this past winter.
Nice four seasons resort. A lot of things to do in the summer and winter.
Had loads of fun the lights and fireworks were amazing! Met a few nice people.. guess everyone is really nice at this time of the year and the place just had everyone in the holiday spirit! Glad we made the trip all the way from Ajax!!
Open air gondola was nice experienced...treak on the top of the mountain
Was there for a conference. Great setting. Even decided to snow on us.
Amazing place. Nice weather, cool stores, a lot of activities to do for all ages. Loved it
It was an amazing experience! I had some problems with the registration process for renting the equipment, which took me some of the time I could have spent skiing. In my opinion, the registration process at the Kiosks could be easier, and if the customer has the lift tickets already at the time something could be done to make the process go faster. Other than that, it was amazing. All staff were friendly and helpful with lessons, equipment rental, lockers and more. There are some good food options in there, and I recommend the Chuck Burger, which tastes great and didn't take long to prepare considering it was a Friday. Definitely want to come back!
This is my third time staying in the village. There's nothing better than skiing to the bottom of the hill and walking 2 minutes to your room. The proximity to the hill is worth the extra $ to stay in the village. Not to mention all the restaurants if you don't feel like cooking in your room. Will be back for sure!
We went there many times, in winter and in summer. I'll say this place is amazing. Beautiful sunshine in summer and good place for ski in winter. 10 out of 10.
I love this place. Beautiful. Good maintenance. So crowded in holidays. The ski pricings are so high. Highly recommend this place. In all seasons it has its soecific beauty.
This is a really an amazing experience because I've never been here before. This place is full of excitements and winter event.Really great!
It was for place. Lovely and enjoyable place with lots of music and crowd. Be is summer, winter or fall, this place has lot of things to offer. Recommended for sure.
Very good place to spend time with friends and eat out.
Had a beautiful night out here! The village looked so good and decent snow conditions
Been a homeowner at seasons with my family for 4 years now. Every staff member has a different story for home owner perks. One day you pay for parking for your child, next day a friend comes and you don t have to. One day you get a homeowner discount and the next you don t. Just a waste of time and a lack of communication. We made the investment and expected painless family fun but are continually annoyed and let down every visit
So beautiful clean and organized I would love to stay here again
The Blue Mountain resort was great. There was lots of stuff to do and the Blue Mountain In was a great place to stay. It had great rooms and great service.
Great place for snow boarding and hanging out with friends. Restaurants are great too.
Amazing resort and I am definitely coming back. I went to go snowboarding and own a season pass. This is going to be a great winter!
I've not got a huge amount of experience with ski resorts, but as far as experiences go Blue Mountain is one very worth having. The grounds, villages and shops are all well maintained and staffed. It's clean and very, very picturesque.
My experience of skiing here was my first and definitely has given me the bug. I hired my skis and boots from the rentals at Blue and was set. The boots were as comfortable as you'd expect ski boots to be and my skis worked as well as someone who'd been skiing for a matter of hours could expect. It's best to get to the rental village early in the am (8am) or even go the night before and hire to collect in the morning to make it even quicker (you can hire for the next day from 7pm). The rentals area gets swamped from around 5pm with folks getting set for night skiing and rentals returning from the day. Avoid this time as much as possible as it can be pretty chaotic.
The slopes were pretty consistent (it was a cold December with recent snow) and well patrolled. Some of the green slopes were long and great for a mildly reckless beginner skier and there were some really chilled out, wide runs for beginners. All the slopes are well sign posted and the lifts are reliable and staffed with really cheery helpful folks.
All round the main village area are bars and restaurants which get pretty busy. You can book at some which makes getting your nights organised a bit easier. The Irish pub is good for casual beers, as is Rusty's, but North Wind is a great spot for food later and the range of beers is just stunning.
The activities are nice and much better priced than scenic caves. There is also much more to do in terms of other than adventure activities. Overall a pleasant experience. Parking could be improved.
It's a good place to go, expansive though. Not much to do their aside the mountain
Now we only went to see the village and the fireworks but it was fun, to see all the lights and shops. The fireworks were great and so was the pizza.
Amazing place for snowboard with friends. But some stuffs should be more prepared to teach newbiws with patience, some are rude. I brought some friends and they got upset with two of them. I knew how to snowboard but a professional giving instructions is better. I ended teach my friends.
Good resort, but not much to do in non winter months.
Beautiful four season destination resort. Something for everyone!
Good weekend spot even in the summers. Lots of activities at the resort and a couple of hike trails around as well. Weekends have special events and live performances.
Feedback: horrible (sights are amazing) Reason explaing now. Everthing was legit full and most of the fun activites were full but the only good rides in my oppinon are: ridge runner and the gandola (chair lift) and only the views are good so instead there is a beach nearby. Only come here if you want to see the beautiful views.
Nice place, good variety of resterants but the stores are a little pricie
The village feel was a great touch, there was a great variety of restaurants to choose from and plenty of activities not during the winter season.
There are a lot of resorts in Ontario for skiing but none of them offer a village and events center that rivals blue mountain's. With more sqft of trails than most and lots of lifts and areas to explore blue is by far Ontario's best resort when it come to that full sized show appeal. I spend a lot of time here. It's without a doubt in any sane person's top five Ontario resorts
Great ski hill considering it's in Ontario! Lots of run choices and varied terrain. Super nice and friendly staff. Kudos!
During this time we felt very safe. Masks, social distancing and limited numbers allowed for activities.
Nice place to take your family out to enjoy the winter at its best.
Good service, but it's a bit pricey. Proximity to the village is nice but not worth the price. Stay somewhere a bit further and save your money for the activities.
I just wish there was a bit better signage, especially at the top. Lots of space between lifts makes it hard without signs to know the best routes to get around. Paper maps aren t helpful when it s too cold to take off your gloves. Otherwise always a crowded but great experience!
Great location. Lots of fun activities. Clean rooms . Beautiful views.
Ridgerunner was great. My son, 6yrs, had the thrill of his life. Blue mountain village has it figured out for families.
Awesome events each weekends, good customer service staff, and one of my favourite family vacation destinations.
Great place for the family and lots to do and see. Can get fairly busy, so be prepared for some lines and waiting...
Would have been four stars but the cost of food at the Inn has gone up more than necessary for a four seasons resort.
They are the only show in town, if you don't count the private resorts on the escarpment, so they don't have to try as hard. If you want to see what service is all about visit an American resort like Holiday Valley.
Wifi is kinda slow but very entertaining place to visit lots of amenities and the rooms have a nice humble but modern style to them
Great ski day at Blue. No lift lines and friendly staff. The hills snowmaking had created a solid base in the absence of natural snow. Some icy spots on the steep terrain. Had a great lunch burger in the main chalet.
Great place to roam around and grab food, and of course to ski.. however the hills get very busy at peak times and the prices are expensive.. The restaurants are also pricey and not great for families, as a local I would suggest to go into Collingwood for food as the prices are more reasonable. If you dont mind spending more money for higher end food then blue mountain is a great place for you.
Excelent service and infrastructure. I would recomend this Resort, the village is also amazing. You can find all you need there. Excelent place to visit.
Treetop Trekking is a healthy challenge and well worth the trip!
As always, the snow was in great shape, in spite of the weather. And, as usual, the Sun and beer at Rusty's were warm and cold, in that order. It's a fine spring tradition, mixing adrenaline, good company, and Sun at our favourite resort.
Room was sub par and our bathroom shower drain was plugged...nasty. Staff reception seemed indifferent when we mentioned it at checkout. Rooms in desperate need of update/upgrade for that price.
Honestly this place was unnecessarily expensive. The kids sleding was on a tiny slope with no real fun to be had and the lines were extremely long. Everything in the stores were marked up to kingdom come so if you guys want to come here you better pack EVERYTHING and come otherwise you will all be dishing out some real cash for a little fun
It's always great at Blue. It was minus 38 with the wind chill. I never had to wait in a single line. Lesson learned. Go when it's so cold no one else will lol. Honestly dress for it and enjoy the day!
Great place year round for skiing biking or just hanging out in the village
So this was my first experience at Blue Mountain. It appears to be a glorified Canadas Wonderland. We went to the first restaurant and were seated immediately and then we waited. Waited some more and watched as the table to the left was served and the table to the right was served. We never even got a nod of acknowledgement. So we left which was ok since the cost of a beer was 3x the normal price and a glass of wine was 2x more expensive.
We walked across the walkway to a lovely Irish pub...food was not bad, atmosphere was nice, prices reasonable however since the patio was so busy every time we ordered we had to get up and go to the bar ourselves, so I would rate the waiters a 1 out of 10 but the bartender a 9.
We watched a few bands play. It seemed the general consensus of the audience was the musical acts were way too short and it was over before it even began.
We left and walked up the mountain then down, pretty amazing views of the lake.
We went shopping in the stores which appear to be on par with other quality stores and the staff in each shop was friendly.
We ended the evening with dancing and again the food and drinks appear on par with average Toronto prices.
Overall I don't feel any need to return. Nothing really stood out as amazing.
It's probably one of the nicer public ski hills that is close to the GTA, however, the layout is odd. It's not very high but it is very long so there are enough runs but they are short.
Great skiing today. Not too cold, short lift lines(today)
Must Visit if in Toronto or nearbuy areas . Great weekend spot and holiday .Good music and food .
Blue mountain resort is a throughout the year place. Very beautiful and refreshing place so close to Toronto. Winter is surely very beautiful here. Bring family here for skiing or to just enjoy the lights and the festival vibes!!
