I ve been here twice so far, the zip line is the best ride yet. The gondola also has a very pretty view of the resort. Fun to go with family.

A great place to visit any season! A wide range of accommodation options for any occasion - couple's retreat to family vacations and anything in between. So much to do in the area (e.g. Summer - mountain biking, swimming, golf, hiking, etc.; Winter - skiing, skating, hot tubbing, etc.). Can get pricey if you just hang out in the Village. Luckily your close to Collingwood. Wonderful town with much to see, do and eat!
I stayed at my friend's parents chalet at the bottom of the hill, my first time ever being to a place like this before, it was so beautiful!!! It was fricken cold out but so worth it. I went on that rollercoaster in the mountain and I definitely feared for my life which meant job well done. I can't wait to come back
Beautiful scenery. Amazing food and drink options in the village. First class ski a d snowboarding options for all skill levels. Love walking up the hills in the fall.
Service staff are unhelpful and gave me contradicting information. Overly long lines for rentals
Simply awesome beautiful no word's can describe it.
We visited the resort to play mini golf on their Cascade course. This is the best and most difficult course I've ever played on! Everything was clean, tidy, well maintained but the course itself was brilliantly designed and produced quit a challenge. They've created sand traps, rough and a putting great so it looks more like a golf course in miniature than a typical putt putt location. The staff were friendly and helpful when we interacted with them before and after our game, even inquiring who won and if we had a good time. When we are visiting in the area, we will definitely return!
Its nice to come for a walk and have a drink on a rainy or cloudy day when you can't go to the beach but not much more than that. Everything is way over priced especially the rides and restaurants. Unless a family of 4 wants to dish out $240 + hst for rides which I find ridiculously expensive. For things like mini golf, hicking paddle boating, etc.
It is one of the best places to skiing. It's just beautiful located near the lake. It was a fascinating experience for me. The rentals service is also excellent. There are hotels in which one can stay overnight. I would recommend all to visit this place.
Such an amazing experience, view, great eats and wonderful staff
Great facilities. Rides right outside our hotel. Kids loved the rides. Lots of things to do. Lots of food choices. Live music and fireworks.
Stayed at mosaic section. Clean and fully functional kitchen. A little busy for my taste. A lot to do. Good for families with kids.
Great activities, amazing rooms and unrivaled service. The people who work for and run Blue Mountain are top notch!
The lift ticket price goes up if the weather is better. There is no refund and transfer option!
Awesome experience. It's a must. We had overseas guests and they loved it too.
It's really all we have and yes the lines can be busy. Get here early for the parking and plan to enjoy the day!
The activities are a lot of fun. Sadly, of the things available in the all day pass, only 4 are currently open (Covid restrictions). I was hoping that the Agora night light path was covered in the pass, but it's not. The mountain ridge runner and timber high rupees was a lot of fun. The gondola was beautiful too. Will definitely visit again
Restaurants and shops were mediocre with a few good exceptions. Grounds are beautiful and well kept. Feels a bit artificial.
We have lessons at the hills great staff but management terrible at communicating and organization as well prices are not in line with other Resorts. Unfortunately not many options for good skiing and they take full advantage of this and don t care about service and or improving .
Friendly staff, lines, has a good variety of trails (including some beginner trails that are more interesting than some bunny hills on other mountains)
Lines can get a little long at times, and the village can be expensive. Probably better views than other places around Toronto though, even though it's not a particularly tall mountain.
Love the place very good place for everyone. I sure want to go back.
Really good place to spend long weekend. Good place for a hike nd trolley system is good nd nice view to it when going up the mountain. It also have some rides to enjoy overall fun place to visit during during long weekend and have lots of blast
Great Stay @ The Westin. Always enjoy the Blue Mountain Village, Ropes Course and Mountain Coaster.
Great resort. However the free internet is deadly slow. Only two phones can connect. For more speed and access....have to pay $15 (that's what cost 1 star from review)
Always a lovely place to visit. Prices are way up for activities, I'm assuming to recover some shut down losses. We stayed at the Westin Trillium House and would recommend it to anyone.
This place is amazing and good deals. Lots of room and clean and very very neat. Our Chalet looked and felt like a castle future for any queen
Beautiful village with good collections of cafes, restaurants, shops and entertainment avenues.
Surrounded by good number of hotels and parkings.
In the summer can hike, bike and try other entertainments. While in winter you will enjoy the Skating and ice boarding.
Pro tip: if you stayed in one of the 10 ressort hotels you may have a complementary coupons to get free access to some games or the gondola also discounts just ask them for it.
Top notch mountain great for Skiing and Snowboarding. Magnificent views. Could be better if staff was train with better customer service. Staff there in the rentals area was mean and not friendly.
I can't say enough good things about Blue, the only negative being the jacked up prices for EVERYTHING, but all in all great resort any time of year. So much going on all the time, it's probably the best public ski hill in Ontario ((although I may be a bit bias since I taught ski/snowboard lessons for 3 years here) besides the wait times for chairlifts during peak times). The summer vibes are just as good and so many activities and things to do as long as you have the budget. It's a must go to every year for me. And should be yours too if you live within a 2 hour drive or so.
We have been holding a yearly Real Estate conference here for many years and the service, facilities and people are are always fantastic!
As a local it is fun to explore but a lot of shops and restaurants are very pricey
Best Ontario resort to ski. Highest vertical drop. Most expensive in tickets, accomodations and food services. Also most crowds and line ups.
It was a very nice place. Never been there in the summer, but there were still lots of things to do and see
Bigest slopes in the area and good runs, however it is expensive, and you are very much just another number when dealing with the staff for lift tickets or at the hotel.
Famous resort in Ontario. It's about 2 hrs drive from Toronto
Staff was great. Everything at the resort was over priced, but I expected that. Beautiful location.
Lots to do and see. Pricey for food so plan ahead and look for places off site if you want to save some money.
Beautiful, lots of things to do. But a little pricey.
Lots of restaurants and gift shops. Always something to do here whether skiing/ snowboarding or just wanting to go out for a walk or take the rollar coaster for a little ride on the mountain. Live music and other events going on regularly, Scandinavian spa close by. Side launch brewery (highly rated) close by. Highly recommend going here if your visiting or in the area.
Amazing getaway experience!! I've been there a couple of times now and it's been just as much fun. First time I only spent a regular weekend, this time I went for the long weekend of Canada Day There's a lot to do around the area even during Summer besides my two favourite activities (shopping and dining lol). There's hiking, cave exploring, beaches, water skiing/boating, and obviously pools if they're available at your staying place of choice... Definitely not a boring place. Pets are also allowed (as long as they are on a leash)! I was able to take my pup and she had a great time as well
I had the greatest experience at blue Mountain today even though I was cold my daughter insisted that she kept skiing and the gentleman that was working the carpet Jesse was absolutely amazing not only was he encouraging the kids but even the adults which was very funny to see , he joked around with everyone sometimes he wouldn t be there I guess for break or the switch around but every time he came back it was like the crowd of people got a new burst of energy and when I finally decided to put my ski s back on and asked my daughter if she was ready for the big hill she told me no because she was scared and that young man looked her in the face and said I don t want to hear that I ve seen you ski and you know what your doing don t be afraid of a bigger hill he than told her he would let her go up the carpet one more time but than she had to at least try and the big hill and face her fears. To you Jesse and I hope you see this thank you for being so friendly and making the time at that carpet better but thank you for making my daughter face her fear of the big hill because she loved it and had a blast and wants to go the big hill next time , I m sorry I didn t get a chance to say thank you in person
Great place I would have given it five stars except for it 6 in the morning the Stampede of people in the hallway and screaming children that continuously wake you up
Blue mountain was awesome. Went for the bike park and was not dissatisfied! Highly recommended
Simple to describe, if you have ever been to Mt-Tremblant in Quebec or Whistler in BC. Blue Mountain Resort village has the same feel on a MUCH smaller scale. It offers the best/only skiing in the area with some nice views of the mountain and Georgian bay. A short hike to the top of the mountain revealed a few grazing deer and wild turkeys. Great place for a weekend getaway as a couple or with the family but serious skiers will most likely need to travel further to get their rush.
Wide runs with some fun pitches. Night skiing available. The hills can get busy on weekends. Village has lots to do for apres ski.
Beautiful powder snow today although at times it can get icy. Great mid week as nice and quiet. Prices have gone up a lot for walk in tickets so try to buy in advance on line or get a season pass. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Service is always amazing. They remember us and always upgrade us. It's feels like going to a resort. The restaurant is amazing. Pricey but well worth it. Best burger I've ever had.
Great place to ski with a ton of long trails. Lots of snow and we had an amazing time, Thank God!
Check-in check-out was slow. I would suggest that accommodations are slightly overpriced, a lot of hype but not that exciting for what you pay in terms of their Adventure Pack.. which was expensive per attraction. Restaurants on site are expensive.
Our door was messed so that was hard to opperate when i was drunk. Otherwise good. Nice toilet
Wonderful place, it is a great place to do skiing. Blue mountains community have a well-organized system, I like the way they operate. They have a system for renting equipment to those who don't have their own. And package for renting the equipment, where we get skiing boot, helmet, skis and skis pole. And rest other equipment such as glass, pants if necessary we have to pay extra. The staffs there are very helpful. They also offer classes for those who are doing skiing for the first time. It was a great place and had a great experience.
I think Blue Mountain Resort is the Best place to be in Ontario!! However, I think it will be worth the investment for BMR to extend the tubing or move it to have longer and more epic of a run. I think this would suit lot more non-ski/boarders and attract those to still enjoy a day in the snow. I would suggest North side perhaps splitting Happy Valley (since parking already available) or extend the tubing by sacrificing a small portion of existing hill.
The Mountain was great!!! But getting on the hill was crazy. No parking anywhere at 9am, oy 1 ticket window open at the Inn lift at 930am, I counted 16 people in front of me!! When the line got to about 25 people the opened another cashier. $96 for an 8 hour ticket, I don't know how a family of 4 can ever afford a day on the hill. Snow was great, lifties did a great job of keeping everybody moving. All the 6 pack lift chairs were full and that keeps the line ups short. They do need a nice outdoor patio at the Inn and Central lodges for days like Friday.
I went sking and had a drink at a cafe there the stuff was a bit pricey but the atomosphere was really nice
Very clean and quiet this time of year. Breakfast was amazing and lunch was very clean and healthy. Overall a good one day stay.
Love this place, hate how touristy, it has become, with the prices to reflect. Intrawest has tripled and quadrupled prices in the last 3 years. The service doesn't match the prices.
Amazing!! Following CIVD protocols but still felt few too many people.
Embarc Lodge was great! Full kitchen + cozy living room + fireplace! Close to the village and skiing and they have a 24/7 shuttle bus.
It s enjoyable place in the other hand it s a bit expensive
It's a great station but it lacks of th homely feel I want to find, you can eat and rent skies there. It has a lot of choices and its great.
Beautiful village but very touristy. Also beware, everything is insanely overpriced (i.e., will cost more than what you'd pay at the same establishment in a different location).
Great prices, the mountain is very well kept. Rental and lift prices are good. Excellent lodging
Love this place. It's so beautiful with a ton of activities.
very crowded, long line ups, overpriced entertainment tickets. Gondola lift to top of a hill that is accessible by car?!!
Always a great time in Blue Mountain! We love our home away from home. Dont Forget to check out Twist Martini Lounge for a great cocktail and C&A Steak Company for a wonderful meal! I also bought my winter coat here at Synergy. I got a great deal! See you soon big blue!
Rode the downhill trails, it was busy and had to wait a bit but we had a blast 9 out 10
A very poor experience and for a very high price. Dear Sir/Madam,
We visited Blue Mountain on Feb 17th and 18th, and our experience was very difficult from start to finish. Firstly, we bought our tickets online, thinking that it would save us time to get on the slopes. The opposite was the case. On the 17th we waited in line for almost 30 minutes to get our passes. on the 18th, we waited in line quite literally for 1.5 hours to get our tickets! This was at the base of Lift 11 (near the Toronto Ski club area). The process was frustrating and ruined the experience to start off.
Understandably, on a long weekend there were a lot of people on the slopes and the staff did a great job with keeping the lines moving at the lifts. When we went indoors to get our lunches, not only was the food incredibly overprices ($27 for poutine, burger and a soft drink), it was of very low quality. The chicken burger was dry and undercooked.
Add to this, the traffic snarls, difficulty finding parking, problems getting from the parking lot to the slopes, and I must say, I will be very reluctant to revisit Blue Mountain ever again, even though the slopes were quite enjoyable.
best skiing place in Ontario. I do visit with Korean-Canadian members every winter season.
We went to the village to check out the shops and restaurants. Fantastic little place but very busy on the long weekend. We ended up eating at Northwinds Brewery and the food was top notch.
Events around the village are great. The Inn is okay, nothing special but it does the job
Hills are great and the village is impressive. Rooms are nice. However the entire place is designed to get money out of you at exhorbitant prices. Ie...pay for wifi? What is it 1903 or something?
Fabulous place for the whole family, plenty of places to eat, drink as well as all sorts of activities to do. These include mountain bike trails, hiking trails, gondola, zip wire etc. In winter this place comes alive with the ski set.
The best snowboarding in Onterrible. Great prices for night-ski. There's usually a chairlift with very little or no line up. The village is quaint and charming and the runs are well maintained
While I did visit Blue Mountain resort, I did not stay at the resort. Instead, I'd been there for a day of skiing with my friends. Since I went on a weekday, the hills were less crowded and our group got our money's worth of skiing done! The next time, I'll consider going on a weekday instead of the weekend which is when I used to go always in the past.
This is probably the best hill in Ontario but it gets really busy
Beautiful place with an amazing view of the snowy mountains!
