Not the biggest mountain I've ever skied on but I really enjoyed this place. I had to rent everything including pants which made it great for traveling light. Can't wait to return.
Great place to visit. A bit commercial but overall worth seeing. Great area!!
Definitely worth the visit. Service was really good. A lot of stuff to do there throughout the year
First time here and I am so amazed! What an incredible place! Beautiful scenery, awesome shops in the Village and so much fun things to do.
Beautiful resort. Great location. Spacious and comfortable apartment style rooms with stacked kitchen. Very close to the village. Those are the pros. On the con side, service is terrible. First day, one of the beds sheet and pillows were stained. Not a good surprise when you are exhausted and ready to go to sleep at 1 am. Service took 40 minutes to come and change them. The three days we were there, the cleaners did not vacuum, wash towels, fill up the instant coffee or clean the dishes that were in the sink. They just made the bed and left everyday. Also, our room key card reset EVERY SINGLE TIME we tried to get in. It was a pain having to go to the front to get it reprogrammed so frequently. Really terrible service for the price you pay in this resort. I attached pics. Very beautiful room. But cleanliness was questionable.
Staff were accomodating and apologetic. But that doesnt help when they truly make no effort to improve on anything. I'll think twice before booking at the Mosaic again.
Lots of activities. Could stay for a week and not get bored at all.
A great day to get to know your friends through intimate time spent in multiple lines all day. Over 2 hours to pick up some double downs and a park pass. Get some self service kiosks already.
Too crowded, masks not worn properly. Did have a nice place to watch/listen to music. My kids were very upset because people were not following social distancing rules and not putting on masks when the distance was less than 2 metres.
A bit pricey but lots of things to do. Great family vacation
Went for the mountain biking. Plenty of trail with varied difficulty. Speedy chair lift to get you to the top.
Enjoy this skiing experience except the price of the tickets is too expensive for most folks. Wish they can make it more accessible to everyone. Weather was perfect though and services were great.
Crowded and everything is overpriced... $22 for ceaser salad? Wow..
Pricy. We just wanted to go on the rides and do a simple hike but had to pay 84 bucks. Should have more buckets on pricing .
The accommodations are pricey - but the rooms are worth it. There were complete kitchen, utensils, and ovens available. The things to do does cost extra, so be prepared to spend money for those activities. But if you are adventurous, it's worth to do.
Atmosphere is incredible! Staff in the vilage are friendly and very helpful and accommodating.
Nice atmosphere, good shopping. The park here is very cool too, our kids love it.
Went over to Blue Mountain with my school for a trip recently, and I had a blast! The staff there were very kind and assisted me to get all of my equipment on so I can get skiing. The lessons they taught me made the experience just more enjoyable. The conditions of the hills during the day vary though. On some hills, there were large areas of slush, mud, and holes in the ground which made me feel slightly in danger, however, nothing bad came out of it. Food from inside the resort is very good, but pricing is what you would expect from a place like this. (A lot!!) If you plan on going here, I highly recommend getting a lunch voucher, it will definitely save you some money. Overall, my experience at Blue Mountain was great, I need to go back there for sure next season!
Although there is a fair amount to do at the resort in the summer but most of it will cost you more money on top of the cost of your stay. There is only one day of free WiFi at most hotels and none I stayed at offered breakfast (likely as to not compete with all the restaurants. If I wasn't attending a convention I probably wouldn't have gone at all but it seems at lot of tourists do come in the summer so maybe I am just missing some context about vacation packages that are more inclusive.
Great ski trails, workers were amazing and very friendly. The village was beautiful in the afternoon, had lots of options for lunch.
Reasonable for a quick visit. They did very Weddell considering the limit amount of snow late in the season. Small resort with short runs.
This place is beautiful. I visited in late summer and really enjoyed the activities. It is not that expensive but restaurants in this area are not open till late in the day.
Fab location, stayed at the Georgian...great staff. Rooms could do with a refurbishment. Water in the last lobby would be great... would visit again...loved the village
Its a little pricy, but the experience was one that a super critical guy cannot complain about. The kids ski lessons are world class with very happy and encouring trainers. My kids loved it and they are princesses and super high maintenance.
Love being at Blue Mountain. Stay at the Grand Georgian for more of a chalet feel and it is the centre of the village.
The snowboarder instructors were patient and taught me the skills and gave me the confidence to try runs as high as the square level!!! The snow and ski school is amazing!!!
Beautiful all year long. Most recent visit we had was in early Nov 2018, and the soil was a little damp yet we climbed the mountain with no hesitation. I'd recommend this place for someone who'd like a sight seeing long drive from Toronto.
Used to snowboard there every winter always had the best time on the hills
It was nice for the summer time, the gondola ride was good as you can stay at the top of the mountain, which you will be able to see nice views of the entire area. At the top of the mountain there are a few trails, one food truck, and washrooms. Staff was nice and helpful which was pleasant to see as some of food restaurants/vendors were not helpful. It felt like your bothering them... Maybe this is just how the weekday vendors are like and the weekend vendors might be a whole lot better as most of their festivals are on the weekends. I will be going back, but just bring my own food or go back into town and then come back. Hopefully this helps... Once I go back then I will be updating this review.
Always great atmosphere, especially at night with all the lights!
Great service and value. I am always promoting Blue Mountain to my friends and family.
Lower rating is for not cleaning snow of parking lots, otherwise everything else was perfect... friendly staff, good restaurants with reasonable price, reasonable equipment rental and training. Overall enjoyed my stay.
It's very small and cute place to visit. There are few restaurants and pound for boating.
Nice setting but the quality of things seems to have dropped. Also everything feels like a bit of a price trap.
Skiing is so much fun here! The learner program helps build up the necessary skills one needs to ski well...
I love this place. It's the best place to skii and have fun. You can rent equipment and cloths and anything you need. There is multiple bunny hills and more difficulty hills all the way to expert mode. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars because i went with people who never skied before and the trainer on the very first hill was extremely rude, he was insulting people and yelling on people. I was disappointment with his work quality. We moved quickly the next hill, suffered a bit But it was better than dealing with him. All the other staff were super nice and helpful.
Most developed ski resort in ontario. Unfortunately less to big lines for the slopes but is the best skiing you can get in ontario. The village has something for everyone.
Amazing resort. It can get crowded though make sure you get there early!
Beautiful!!! Amazing staff in each shop I entered and delicious restaurants
Best skiing in ontario, good hiking for people that don't know the area.
It was a great day skiing on the mountain. The conditions were as good as could be expected. The six man chair lifts made for short lines and lots of skiing.
Great place with lots to do but you better have deep pockets. Not a bad time for a day trip as well.
What a wonderful place with lots to do and enjoy. From food options to entertainment there is something for everyone.
It's a great summer and winter destination. If you like good crowed and party weekends are the best place to be.
Beautiful! And right next to golf courses and scenic caves! Amazing! Winter skiing!!
Friendly, helpful staff and all around tons of fun.
Awesome place for family to spend time together ski, tubing, swim (Plunge), shop, eat and relax
Great stay-cation! Always lots to do and all restaurants are open, though some changes due to restrictions bit nice to get out. Just try to keep physically distanced from others and it will be fine.
This place made me feel like i was in Whistler village. Nice little shops not chain stores which was nice. Plenty of parking with an rv or trailer a must see in the area.
Clean and the staff are friendly. The only thing that makes it not a 5 star would be very small things like no bathrobe, slippers, and can be quite loud in the morning depending on the room. These are not that big of an issue and all in all thr experience and convenience of where the hotel is located makes it a four star. The location for this resort is amazing and is in the heart of blue mountain and is about 5 minutes away from free parking and the activity centre.
The Blue Mountain Resort is so beautiful in the all seasons.
The beginner slopes were good to learn on. I bought a newbie pass to take lessons for snowboarding. It seems like the skii instructors were much better and hands on. I would snowboard here again but if I could go back and do it again, I would get the newbie pass for skiing or not bother and just rent snowboarding equipment and YouTube how to snowboard
Great place to stay when visiting Blue Mountain. Very close to the slopes and lots to do in the village.
Village is nicely lit in the evening. The blumination trail was short but a pleasant walk with a BLUE sign where you can take a nice picture with the hills in the background. The light show was unexpectedly only on one tree. A good variety of food options also!
Awesome summer place for the day or weekend. Lots of fun activities!!
Always a good visit, gets crowded at peak times and holidays, but if you come enough you know what you get from this hill. Not too familiar with summer activities though
Blue mountain got decent hills for the distance to Toronto but some of the restaurants foods are soso.
Night views are cool.
The indoor out door pools were a bunch of fun and a great way to spend an afternoon with the kids.
The Grand Georgian, great place to stay, neat and cozy room, close to the lifts and the rest of the village amenities. Loved it.
Everything you want is there. Day activities, night life, sports, relaxation, good food options and quality service.
Awesome hills and runs. Not so great staff. Pretty consistently the staff I've interacted with at blue are rude and seem bored out of their minds. Good thing you have such awesome glades!
The location was fantastic. As long as you aren't a light sleeper or dont mind the yelling of the excited partiers, you'll enjoy your stay. More ideal for a young crowd
My review is limited to the staff and accommodations since we didn't take part in any of the skiing/snowboarding activities.
We stayed Jan 6/7th and were fortunate to be able to check in early. When making the reservation, I guess I must've mentioned that it was for my wife's birthday. When we got into our room, there was a box of chocolates and a birthday card hand written to my wife and signed by the front desk staff (Thank you, Janice!). We were also upgraded from a bachelor room to a one-bedroom and received complimentary underground parking.
We stayed at the Grand Georgian and the room was nice and clean. Bed was comfy and the kitchenette would have been very useful if we stayed longer and brought groceries.
Definitely coming back with the kids.
Take extra care that you do not leave anything behind in the hotel rooms. Blue Mountain has horrible lost and found customer service. The call centre will only direct you to fill out the online form, which will only to send automated updates that they cannot find the coat. Either the hotel staff took the coat or the lost and found service is so disorganized they can't find a coat that was left in plain sight on a chair in the hotel room. Either way, the whole automated system really makes you feel valued as a customer... NOT.
You need to be very careful who you are talking with as you deal with different areas through a Blue Mountain. We were there over New Year's and it was likely that we had a bunch of new employees who were just learning what they were doing. We had two significant challenges that made it very tough to fully enjoy the vacation. Had the employees been better trained we wouldn't have had those issues. Make sure you do a lot of research before you go.
Resort itself is a lot of fun and we will be going back but it really took away from the enjoyment as we were struggling to get going.
Such a nice relaxing time! We also did the range coaster and it was so much fun! We loved staying here and the condo at seasons at blue was very comfortable.
Would highly recommend Blue Mountain Resort to anyone looking for a winter vacation. Great Value friendly service and outstanding experience!
Bachelor condo at Grand Georgian was perfect for a one night stay!! Comfortable, spacious, and excellent location!
Generally a very good resort to ski/snowboard in Ontario, just don't come on a warm day that's all:)
Great place to visit over long weekend. Lots of fun activities for family and friends.must visit this place. Not too far from Toronto.
Really upmarket village. Looks so pristine as to be unreal, a film set or an illustration from a book! Bought delicious hand made chocolates and had a lovely walk in the early November sunshine. Fabulous restaurants and designer boutiques. Not cheap but worth it.
As a Torontonian, I am grateful of Blue Mountain! Great slopes, a lot of amenities in the area.
Overall, a simple outing destination that s worth your small vacay!
We enjoyed our visit. The staff were professional, pleasant and courteous. The grounds were well maintained and clean. The facilities too were well maintained.
Busy, service and experience at Crock-a-doodle was wonderful. However some stores at the village were lacking in customer service.
My most favorite place in Ontario. We can have fun at the same time more relaxing place. Good place for all ages.
A very clean and well organized building. I was impressed with the decor. Nothing seemed to be run down in the room. There's a pool and fitness room if you're interested in getting a workout. You have to pay for WiFi but there are plenty of channels on the TV for entertainment. Staff was very friendly and helpful on recommending where to visit and hike by providing pamphlets.
This was my first time snowboarding at Blue. I stayed on one section of the mountain because I practically had the runs to myself. And this was on a Saturday!!
The staff seemed friendly and helpful. I didn't go into the rental or to eat anything so I can't speak to them. That is why I only gave it 4 stars. I might edit it at some point.
Great place to spending few days with family or friends,
The hotels look very nice. The one restaurant that I'be been to was not that good.
We stayed at the resort via a spa package which was really nice. The stores were cute and plenty of choices in regards to food. We found everything to be a bit more expensive then usual so be prepared for that. The suite was nice and clean. Plenty of space for us. The only drawback was we were located above a bar and I was woken up multiple times with patron noise. Nice experience overall.
Right in the heart of Ontario with wild views of Georgian Bay. Sharpen your edges and put on your full face mask its cold but fun here.
