Nice place for a weekend in the summer and winter ...
Nice place for a weekend in the summer and winter seasons. Not too many halal options in terms of food.
Nice place for a weekend in the summer and winter seasons. Not too many halal options in terms of food.
Environmentally aware with coffee served in mugs
Great summer entertainment season followed by awesome snow making and hill maintenance. Really something for everyone right down village and grounds strolling
Such an amazing environment with lots to do. For everyone in the family
The view is spectacular. I'll definitely come back here again.
Nice place to hang out with your friends and family. Lots of activities and chill out places. Good for all ages.
Lots of nice little shops and ski slopes...not enough snow
I absolutely loved the experience. We got here in the evening, took a stroll around the village following the lights and ended the evening with excellent pub fare. The next morning we took a drive in a Hummer up to the Petunia conservation area. That afternoon we picked up a fine selection of hot sauces which I highly recommend for those with discerning taste. Sunrises and sunsets are a magical experience at the Blue Mountain Resort when the weather is good. It's a great place to take your family even if you don't ski, with events and activities scheduled through the year.
Great snow, minimal lines, friendly staff, hillside accommodations! SWEET, bluebird day!!!
Very beautiful, nice place for family trip, dress according to weather it gets cold there
Beautiful resort. It's like a little self contained town. Everything you need in walking distance! Highly recommend.
It has grown significantly over the years and it's nice to wander around or sit and have a drink. Prices are reminiscent of an airport and there are decent food options now.
I just went to the blue mountain village. Didn't stay in the resort but had a lot of fun
Can't go wrong with a trip to good ole "Blue". If the weather is nice that is.
We absolutely love the whole blue mountain experience. Service, location, spa, food ... All first class
Blue mountain is always a good time theres lots to do and see it's a bit pricey but that's the way she goes
Here on September long weekend, the air are so fresh.
Mesmerizing sights and incredible adventures awaits you there.
Blue mountain is a very good ski resort in Southern Ontario with a good variety of runs, good snow conditions and other services available for guests. The village is very nice and scenic as well. The only downside is their day passes are slightly pricey when purchased at the resort.
Blue Mountain Resort always does their best to make sure that you have the best experience possible. Grooming the runs overnight and once again before night skiing at 3:30 pm. They have 540 snowmaking guns to build up the snow base. Located near Georgian Bay, the lake effect flurries are frequently dumping fresh natural snow to make conditions even better.
A very good ski resort with good runs and pleasant facilities a great day was spent there
Randomly shutdown slopes for grooming with no notice which akes it difficult to meet up with people when expected. During the holidays there were traffic jams and not enough parking. Everything in the village had a long line between Dec 26-29
A wonderful place to ski or do other things for many reasons. Good food, a massive mountain with amazing variety in runs/trails to snowboard or even bike down, an incredibly beautiful place to skate, and the list goes on. The only problem is, these things have made it incredibly crowded. If you go on any regular day (like a weekend, for example) it will probably take a half our to get on a lift. Alternatively, if you get food in the village it will be near impossible to find a place to sit and eat. Simply put, there are many problems that come with a place being overcrowded. I realize that talking a star off of a review for a resort because of how successful it is may seem counter intuitive, but trust me, it's certainly something you want to consider.
Cozy room, nice staffs, will absolutely come visit again.
Honestly had a great time and didn't realize how popular it would be in the summer time (off season). I noticed that during the day there were a lot of family activities which was nice, but after 9pm the nightlife came alive! Really something there for everyone. I went for a bachelorette party and we counted 17 other bachelorette/bachelor parties happening at the same time. It was hysterical. But we all had fun and like I said, the nightlife was really good!
Great for snow athletes of all stages. Friendly and helpful instructional staff
Very cozy. Nice atmosphere. Would go here again :).
Great atmosphere and skiing, lots of food options. A lot of variety in ski runs, very few green runs.
We always have a great time when we stay here. This weekend I brought the whole family. We enjoyed a suite on the golf course and the kids loved running around the golf course
Went to the resort to catch the grand finale of the Guitar Trail. What an amazing show put on by Colin James.
Accomadations were good. However room was not ready at 5pm for a 4pm check in. Was provided and alternate room in another building. A lot happening for the long weekend and mostly a family oriented place.
Really fun but closed a lot of trails. Great service
Been coming here for years. Some days are amazing, others amazingly busy. In either case, the best ski area "close" to the GTA. Prices are the primary annoyance - if you're going to go several times a year, check out seasons pass options, particularly 5x7 pass.
Great spot if you love skiing. Large picturesque resort.
Lots of things to do for families in all seasons. Pet friendly accommodations, live entertainment, wide variety of restaurants and shops.
Always a nice play to visit and relax, albeit not an inexpensive place...
Great resort. It feels like you are in a small village. Commercial stores were amazing. Although a bit pricey.
What a fabulous weekend at one of my favourite resorts. Knowing in advance the resort was moving in a safe a cautious re-opening approach I checked in with the fabulous Janice. She made the start of my weekend away just perfect. All staff were in masks, hand sanitizers were readily available and staff were always wiping surfaces. Guests were great at wearing masks in all stores and confines spaces. The grounds were clearly marked with directional arrows, patios were open with well spaced seating and take out options were available. The pools opened the day I arrived. My suite was clean and beautiful and the bed very comfortable. Do not hesitate to support BLUE at this time. They are clearly doing their part to ensure everyone s safety. Enjoy all the outdoor spaces and relax while supporting businesses in our area.
Village has a great atmosphere. Live music, good food with lots of selection of restaurants. Kids swam at the plunge which IMO was a little pricey but still a good time
Beautiful mountain for skiing/snowboarding and tiny yet lively village for walking, but I'm not sure if the lift ticket price was worth it. Majority of the runs were blue (hence the name haha). The mountain was really small with relatively More
The hills had tonnes of fresh powder earlier in the day and the hills weren't too crowded.
Great hill. Nice and large, the lifts are much faster then KB and the slopes in general are very well maintained
Very cool. Lots to do in summer. Easy to get to and free parking. The view from the top is fantastic, the mountain biking looks top notch, the coaster ride is so fast. Even the food in the cafeteria was good.
I like the place from Monday to Friday.. hate it on weekends.. TBH...I do not even go there on Saturday or Sunday anymore.. way too many people, hard to park, difficult to find a table to dine. Avoid weekends, and you should be fine.. enjoy.. when it snows in Ontario..haha
It's a great place to stay! Feels like I can make this into a tradition with the amazing vibe.
Just learning to ski and couldn't ask for a better location to try! Every amenity you need and really friendly, helpful and professional staff to look after you.
Took advantage of the early bird pass for a very affordable season of skiing!
My family and I spent a weekend here in January. We had a terrific time. Will definitely stay again.
I love blue mountain! My first time boarding at this resort and I really enjoyed it! I stayed over night at a hotel located within the village above some shops it was a great experience! I loved being able to wake up grab something to eat and hit the hills everything within 10 minutes of me! The snow was amazing while visiting, around late January early February, deep powder everyday we had a blast! Would highly recommend! Staff was awesome! Convenient valet service for your skis/snowboards was also a bonus on this trip. Will be back, would also consider a membership!
Very nice place, nice views. alot of shopes and resturants. You can enjoy the Bike trails and the telfreak.
Very nice and welcoming, prices are affordable and the staff is helpful. We had booked the studio on the ground floor but they upgraded us to a suite with a beautiful view of the village. Too bad they don t have slippers and robes in the room.
If you want to ski or just sit and relax ,this is the place
Lots of activities for all members of the family
Attended a social event. Did not stay at resort. The village is beautiful and great got walks
Great skiing. Friendly staff. Excellent facilities. Weekday season's pass is amazing value.
Love coming. Winter and summer. Great skying, caves are beautiful, lots to do
Had a good time here. Kids enjoyed treasure hunt and toboggan run.
Great place to snowboard! If you are going to go more than twice a season definately buy a pass
Family loved their trip. My pocket book not so much. You get what you pay for, though. The rooms range from small to stately, and it's worth not completely cheaping out. From two points of data I can illicitly draw this conclusion: things like the quality of pull-out couches are indexed to room cost. The new ones start at the top and work their way down. Makes sense, but also makes a huge difference for your back.
The local activities are great if costly for a whole family. Do the mountain coaster. It's enough of a thrill to be worth it for grown folks, and my 6 and 4 year olds had a blast. The water area, Plunge, isn't open during the week (or presumably in the winter), and was busy the week we were there - but our trip coincided with Yeti Con, so a pool filled with mermaids and other fantastical cosplay creatures is probably not common. It's a decent sized pool that spans an indoor and outdoor space, with a separate area for an activity pool (like swinging from a rope), and hot tubs. The inside area has a water play structure for the little kids.
Check out the Tholos restaurant in the resort village. It's not ridiculously expensive, but the food is unbelievably good Greek fare. We got takeout (apparently to the surprise of the appalled-looking hostesses), but the food was exquisite.
For people with kids about 6 and up, if the weather is nice, go to the activities desk and ask for the scavenger hunt. It's a fun way to see some of the activities and stores (lots of places to eat) slightly off the beaten trail, and helps to get the lay of the land.
The resort staff is generally helpful and pleasant, and this extends to the activities and restaurants I experienced. The one place I might not recommend is Chuck Burger. The burgers were tasty but thin, and our table seemed irreperably sticky. It was expensive for the experience and quality.
Place is great, but it was too crowded and was bit risky due to COVID-19
Great place to visit & experience the beautiful nature. Few good activities to do. I wish there were more things to do & more eating options.
It is just beautiful here, I didn't want to leave. The restaurants and bars are great, the views are amazing. The shopping is great... It's just a wonderful place to visit.
Went in summer solely to walk around and play mini-golf. The course was great, and the rest of the resort and village were very nice too. Very well kept and staffed
Staffs at the candy store and especially booster juice wanted to separate our family, limiting who can enter and how many etc. We are a family of 5 with 3 children, one being a baby, yet booster juice thought it would be ideal to separate us while there was only 1 patron in the store during the time. At the candy store I did not find the staff especially friendly, and they also sold us expired candy, but did end up giving us the exchange. Anyhow at the end because of the cashier at booster, I took my business elsewhere.
It was a fantastic experience. Great service. Amazing food. An overall great experience. Only downside is it's a bit expensive, but if you got the cash i would say its full worth it
Nice and good to visit at least one time. It is expensive with less attractions compared to the Mont-Tramblant
A place where u gonna find mountains as well as the lake...!!
Blue Mountain Resort was the backdrop for the Alpine skiing and snowboarding events for the 2018 Ontario Winter Games. The conditions were great. The staff were helpful.
Great place with loads of activities. We always have a blast here. Plunge is super fun. The mountain is great all seasons.
Front desk was great was able to move rooms into one closer to the village for an up charge . Room was great however location was very poor because it was right beside a popular bar. Lots of noise and drunk individuals throughout all hours of the night. Could hear them yelling and screaming as well as items being thrown into our balcony . Wouldn't recommend staying in the village.
It offers Natural beauty with places to eat and enjoy with family
Amazing time with a group of friends over the new years weekend! Will definitely be going back. There's so much to do.
Very fun. Many activities for the adventurous. Great atmosphere in all seasons with many little colourful Shoppes, but be aware it's pricey even in just the central cafe. A small bottle of water was almost $5... It did not taste like gold.
Blue mountain is a great place to visit with a group for a ski or snowboard trip! The hills are okay however, the village and lodges are perfect for groups! I always find the hills are a little too over run with lots of line ups to get up the hill. On the other hand, we love visiting blue mountain with a group because the village is a great place to take a break during your day and lots of fun in the evening! The lodges we have stayed in have had hot tubs which is great after a long day of skiing/snowboarding.
The ski resort was wonderful, but a bit icy. More snow could be better.
We had our wedding here in June 2018 and it was an amazing experience.
The staff were super attentive and we were constantly blown away by their services. They included a Wedding Event Manager, Lauren S, who is absolutely amazing at her job. She went above & beyond to make our experience wonderful, ensure our guests were taken care of and overall make the day run smoothly.
Not too far from Toronto and a great place for a weekend getaway with the family. Lots to see and do, plenty of accommodation options and decent amenities. Inquire about underground parking since it no longer seems to be included for overnight guests.
such a fun place! i was here for a dance competition and had the time of my life! the village is such a cool place to walk and i suggest you get the beaver tails because they are DELICIOUS!
Lots of things to do, but the condition of the hill was abysmal. Would recommend going early in the year as opposed to late in the year.
The Blue Mountain resort was a very well maintained and clean facility. There was a lot to do besides skiing and snowboarding, there was tubing and an amazing rollercoaster ride as well. The staff were overall friendly and helpful.
I stayed at the Seasons hotel in the village from March 15th to 16th 2019 room 221. My fiance and I were celebrating our 2 yr anniversary. We had a great time especially her because she has never been, I have been to Blue a couple times to board. Unfortunately, I can't rate my stay higher just because I felt that the staff could of been more accommodating. My fiance is almost 9 months pregnant and I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to hit the slopes in case she was going through any pain or discomfort. I brought my board anyway because it has been 2 or 3 years since I hit the slopes. Her baby shower was the next day in the afternoon in the GTA so we had to leave early. I seen she was in good health and spirit at the time so I decided to get an hour in of snowboarding (more like 45 min). Blue Mountain staff wouldn't allow me to get any discounts and charged me the full day. I was pretty upset about that. I feel if you are spending time at the hotel and buying food in the pricey hotels flexibility to get at most an hour in of boarding is not too much to ask for.
Was disappointed that the mountains were not actually blue. Do not be mislead by this false advertising.
