Luxury multi-brand store, well organized.

Luxury multi-brand store, well organized.
Staff quite friendly, obviously with a bit of a smell under the nose (but I think it's a wanted and fundamental requirement)

Why when you call customer service, they tell you that you will be helped in the store with no
issues, but when you come to the store you are being treated disrespectful by sales
person Nisha It was my worst experience in the store! She must leave
and not to scare away the customers.

I wish I can give zero stars. I went for curbside pick up. I checked in and waited 30 minutes. After being tired of waiting for 30 mins I went inside the store only to find out that the sales associates were just making jokes and laughing and my order was right in front of them. They didn t even care to bring out my order. Unacceptable!!

Big, busy store, and part of a visit to New York for any international visitors. if anything a bit too big for me, but i'm sure for others that would be brilliant. Friendly attentive staff, and if you're an international visitor, be sure to visit the international desk, where there's often vouchers / discounts available just by showing your passport / driving licence.

I shopped at Louis Vuitton and the associate Stefani V. Was very nice and helpful. I was indecisive and she dealt with me until I figured it out. I greatly appreciate her patience.

Visited Magnolia Cake Shop within Bloomingdale thought this was going to be special and an extraordinary cake experience well I guess I was mistaken. After some time a member of staff decided to serve me but seemed less than enthusiastic, not the usual New York welcome. Cashier was far to busy on her personal phone to even bother to look up, I guess I was to much bother for her interrupting her from her phone. Far from a good experience there are much better places for cake and drink.

Elite department store with a wide selection of designer clothes and three popular restaurants: Forty Carrots, Magnolia Bakery and David Burke at Bloomingdale's. Recently opened and a Japanese restaurant. But there are always discounts and reasonable prices. Go to the tourist information center on the balcony of the second floor to hand over your wardrobe, get the help of an interpreter and other services.
Wrap beautifully your purchases in the gift wrapping department on the ninth floor or hand over the shoes for repair and polishing on the fifth. Return to the Visitor Information Center to arrange delivery to your hotel in Manhattan free of charge for purchases of $ 500 or more.

It's a landmark and been kept up very well. Very large department store with a lot of product. I advise coming in with a purpose. Otherwise you'll be overwhelmed by the sheer volume of stuff.

the staffs are very aggressively warm which makes me feel very very very uncomfortable. another thing I dont like very much is that they never stop talking and dont listen what I am going to say.
OH, right. Be prepared that their service attitude does 180 degree change after your purchase is done, and they may eat what they said after that as well especially for the benefit part they said they can offer.

Shocked and disappointed. Worst experience ever. Would give zero if there is an option. Use your own caution dealing with Bloomingdales. Because you might meet some sales person who try to sell you something, encourage you to open a credit card, lie and not telling you the whole truth about the credit card. When they put your info into the system, make sure you check 5 times that they typed in your correct address, otherwise you will not receive the statement, have no idea what's going on and miss you payment. Be careful dealing with their management, because they might ask you a good question " why don't you shop anywhere else??", don't expect they will call you back, don't expect they make apology and have good attitude. nightmare experience..I am pretty sure now that why Amazon is winning the market.it is all about how the business treat their clients. I guess it's good to follow their management's instruction: shop somewhere else.

Seven floors of the most amazing store.. Merchandise.. And customer service you could imagine.. Greeters to assist you on every floor.. If you re from more than 200 miles away go to the visitor center inside store and you ll get a 10% off card! They had awesome live DJs on June 23 playing in Shoe Dept and in downstairs Men's and charging stations for your phones by ladies room! Definite NYC!

Here is a good idea of why Amazon is eating their lunch. I placed an order online on my wife's account for in store pickup. I didn't realize that meant my wife would have to pick it up and that I could not. Get it, so called in to change the name. They told me that it could not be done. So let's review:
1. Amazons online site is better to use.
2. Amazon has inventory and would have gotten I to me next day with prime.
3. Amazon would not make me change anything in fact they encourage my entire family to use the same prime account
4. I would not have had to call in to resolve the issue
5. They would have gotten me the item rather than making me cancel the order...
6. I should have gotten it for Amazon that the store 4 blocks from me. Would have thought walking 4 blocks would have been easier but I guess not.

The building is an iconic spot in NYC but if they are still stuck in the 30's with their customer service I guess it's time for a change.

Ok
