I used to live on the East side a few blocks from Bloomingdales and probably visited three or more times a month for merchandise and at least once a week for light dining. Bloomingdales is having a hard time maintaining a luxury aura. A Macy's property, competing with Neiman Marcus and every high end retailer on Madison Avenue, Bloomies struggles to hold on to exclusive arrangements for expensive well-known brands. The store is clean, well lighted, and fully stocked with seasonal changes year round. It is a tourist destination for shoppers from around the word. The Internet is casting an ever deeper shadow over long term viability, but for now they seem to be doing fine.

I m a Bloomingdales fan and shop online all the time. This is actually the first time we visit the store. The environment great but the service doesn t quite match the environment. We were at the Canada Goose and wanted to try a style with a size that we couldn t find by ourselves, so we needed a staff to help. We have waited for 30 mins now. There is only one staff at the counter doing changes / returns for 2 guests (each took a long time). Another staff came to the counter and I asked if she had a minute. She looked at me and ignored with a really bad attitude. And then I kept waiting. This comment is just showing my disappointment towards the service of the store. Suggest people shop online instead of going into the retail store.

My wife went in to pick up some luxurious bubble bath crystals as a birthday present for my sister. The store was full of people shopping for Christmas and it was festively decorated. There were lots of options for buyers.
