It used to be better!. Last time I was there I could hardly stay in because of the terrible smell. You can still find good peices if you look enough.

Always a blast to pop in and look through the merch. They have excellent choices in design and a great group of staff to give you a hand. One of my favourite spots in Toronto, and if I'm downtown, you can definitely catch me browsing through some shirts.

It's no longer upstairs across the street, but over 30 years later my daughters are enjoying this place just like my 14 year old self did... Fight The Gap, kids - there's plenty of time to be a cog in the machine when you're older!

Great fix for an urge to find a steal... Also great for people who want to be more environmentally concious and find good second hand deals.

Very cool place. Haven't found the best service every time I've gone, and have left empty-handed due to lack of quality or availability of specific items. If you have never been, then it is a must see, at least once.

While you aren't really able to try things on at Black Market, the prices are low enough that that is reasonable. Situated in a basement, Black Market has a "what you see is what you get" kind of vibe, with many racks around the room organized by clothing type. You have to really dig to find the good stuff, but there are many hidden gems and it's worth perusing semi-regularly. Oddly enough, there's a barber shop attached to it, though I don't know much about that.

This shop is one-of-a-kind. It's mainly a thrift shop, but more curated to a more fashionable or alternative crowd. I am goth and I can find stuff really cheap here, like $10 t-shirts and $1 new tights with a skull print.

Awesome clothes, shoes, barber, accessories. Restores my faith that Toronto is a little bit cool. definitely a must fashion stop if just for the posters and knickknacks

This place is full of it ! Staff is horrible I use to love going but NEVER Again! Same thing happened with me and my friends with their fake security team ! It has happened to so many people I'm beginning to think it's a regular thing. You can find better at value village...

Great place to find some vintage pieces. If you want a band tee this is the place to go.

Mix of interesting punk/grunge finds. Grimy and dirty place. Found blood stains on a T-shirt on the rack.

Do not be fooled by the front, this place is amazing! You will find incredible clothes for $ 10 or less! I found myself a sweater, rain boots and gloves for $ 23, that is 16 ... I recommend !!

Really really cheap stuff! The prices are crazy low. Very hipster/punk stuff. Pretty much feels like this is the wardrobe set for RENT. And with how cheap they price everything... I don't think they are gonna pay last years rent.

Great prices on used clothes, most items are 10 dollars. If you're willing to sift through used clothes you will find some gems. Personally have bought two carhartt jackets and a one piece snowmobile suit all for 10 dollars a piece.

Shopping here is addicting. I come back every week to add something new to my wardrobe. Everything is $10 or less.

I ve gotten some of my most prized thrifted clothings from this place, who could say no to 10$ jackets?
And I would say the Black Market Clothing is probably one of the most organized thrift store out there (at least they separate things by categories), I don t feel overwhelmed when I m here.

A necessary go-to for cool tees, vintage wear and accessories. Located in a basement, this shop has a very 1980's NYC feel and offers something for everyone.
Loud music and colorful staff help heighten the experience. I never leave this place empty handed.

Black Market is good for finding vintage band tees and more "punk rock" style items, but I still prefer Tribal Rhythm, a nearby vintage shop that has a wider women's section and more brand names.

Best selection of any thriftstore I've been too, and really great music. Like any thriftstore, make sure to check the clothes closely for tears and broken zippers/buttons.

I love this place! Great vintage buys at honestly the best prices. So many vintage stores mark up ridiculously high prices but these guys are just great. The cashiers are kind of sassy though haha

Amazing jewel in downtown Toronto. A must see for bargain hunters. The store has absolutely everything for under 10 bucks. And when I mean everything they got everything. Takes hours to browse.

Great place for vintage stuff, they do seem to have some cheap fast fashion pieces mixed throughout as well though. when I asked to get a lower price on one shirt that had a hole and big bleach stain on it, and they said no its still $10. How a damaged tee is the same as the perfect condition Tee doesnt make sense to me idk

I love this place and always find cool t shirts or outfits. The place is pretty disorganized (bags of clothes everywhere) but everything is $10 or less so I don't think you can complain too much. Staff is friendly enough and you can always find something interesting.

Most items here are 20 dollars. This is a used clothes store but if you come here often and take some time you might get an expensive hardly worn item worth 100s of dollars for just 20 bucks.

I always manage to find something here. I've found a fantastic pair of Levi's, a glow in the dark skeleton hoodie, a perfect condition Ralph Lauren sweater, and each item was only $10!

Not nearly as much variety as the old location. They upped the prices on premium vintage charging $40 or more for brands such as Levi s, whereas everything used to be $10. Can still go here for some great cheap vintage clothes, but be prepared to have to less selection than the previous location, along with higher prices too.

I really like this place! Its a neat little shop. If your looking for quality well made garmets this probably isn't the place. But if your looking for some pieces to spice up your wardrobe on the cheap this is your place. Some great vintage finds as well as pre-printed shirts and sweaters. I find something I like every time :)

Found what i need but the music was headache inducing from being so loud

I had high expectations for this store but my experience was not what I hope to be. Very dirty place with a lot of weirdos walking around. I prefer going to a value village.
