I would have expected them to have a better selection of staples like denim jackets and vests but the collection was very meager. Cashiers are nice though and if you're thin-bodied you'll probably have an excellent time, as vintage generally means size 6, which it does here for sure.

Its a cool place to find some reasonably priced used clothing. However, many of the staff (especially the young females working in the fitting room area) are very rude and have ZERO customer service skills.

The place has great prices with almost everything around $10. Beware though they do charge a fee if you use debit and they don't advertise that! I found great steals here if you don't mind digging around. The place smells a little like cigarettes and mildew (making the clothes smell like that too), I also didn't expect a barber shop to be down there. I do recommend checking it out because you never know what you might find.

You will always find something you like here. Sizes from xs to XXL on the racks. Everything is $10, always changing, a real treasure trove. Worth frequent visits to see what new prints they have in stock

Every single time I've gone in here the employees (not just one, pretty much ALL of them.) have been unbelievably rude and condescending. I asked if I could put a coat I wanted to buy aside while I shopped and the girl got all weird about it. Literally said "um...I don't like...know if we do that here? I'll like...check..." She ended up letting me keep it at the counter so I could keep shopping, and then said no to my friend. I also have social anxiety disorder and my friends watched as 2 workers ridiculed me for being socially awkward after I bought my stuff.

The products are good and the prices are great but it is absolutely not worth dealing with the people there. This place should be bought by people who actually know customer service. Lost one forever and I tell people to stay away. I honestly hope you guys go out of business because you clearly don't know how to run one. There's lots of good vintage stores in Toronto that won't treat you like garbage.

So much happening there!! You got the record store, the barber, the ladies who sells sunglasses... Clothes everywhere, you'll need time to go through everything so set your mind in something specific before you arrive.

This place is fanfriggingtastic i love it. I get vintage t-shirts, you can't beat the prices. And i get cool rock and roll buttons there as well. They have a bit of everything and vinyl as well. If you like funky clothing go check it out

Honestly, if I could rate this place zero stars I would. The whole store and its employees are so dusty and dirty, I wouldn't be surprised if they had bedbugs and roaches. All the clothes have strange stains on them, not worth it at all. On top of that, all of their printed t-shirt designs are completely stolen, with the artist never being compensated or even notified. Do not support this business!!

I am not sure how a store like this can sell products that are no licensed. Seems like this might be against certain consumer laws. Not to mention the replica sunglasses and products. The store also smelled like trash, although that may have been the Toronto smell.

Such a great store. They have really cool graphic tees for bands and movies and general cool sayings and pictures. Everything is SUPER cheap, really cool quirky jackets as well. They had a good selection of sizes in everything but if you're plus sized it might be hard to find good stuff which is a shame. I will say that most of the style here is like 80's and 90's vintage and not so much 60's 70's etc... Tons of sunglasses and jewelry and accessories. I'd recommend dedicating like 2 hours to just search around. One thing I will say for sure that is a huge downfall of this place is that the staff give off this snooty vibe. They basically ignore you and kind of seem like they think they're too cool to be there or something lol. I like the store but the atmosphere kind of makes me feel unwelcome. I would give it 3.5 on here if I could based on the feeling I got from the staff. And a 4 on general selection.

I had a "security" staff member from the Black Market stop me by the old HMV on Queen (after my shopping at the location)....he said that the "alarm" went off when i walked outta the store. Why wait til i got to the old HMV location to stop me? and Black Market staff, where are your security tags? People steal $5 vintage things on New Years day? seriously guys! I regularly shop at this location, and like always I DID buy things the day I was insulted by your fake security team! The staff needs a good overhaulin ! Other options include: KindExchange has multiple locations, prices are higher but its carefully picked. Kensington Market is also another great recommendation.

Bought a sweater and it was nice and thick and fizzy inside. I wore it and then when i took it off....my hand went through the material effortlessly. But the graphic tees are great, just be worned somethings are not worth 10 bucks even if they seem fine.

Pretty funky vintage clothing store that is fun to browse though.

Not only does the store have a large inventory of vintage clothing (including lots of vintage T-shirts), but there is also a hair salon, vinyl record section, and a wall of inexpensive sunglasses. Plus a few bargain bins full of stuff that I'm guessing changes frequently.

I visited primarily to check out their military surplus clothing (small section) and walked away with what looks like a USGI olive drab utility shirt with OPFOR patches (which I've never seen before) for $10 (the entire rack of mil surplus was $10 per item).

I'm not really the target demographic of the store, but enjoyed my visit and do plan to drop by again if I'm in the area.

A great store to browse!

I love thrifting, but I found this place to be very overwhelming. From the thin stair case to get to the shop, to the overly crowded room with the items it is a pretty tight fit. I do know people who have found some amazing finds here, and they love going back. But I just found the whole experience too much, and I wanted to get out ASAP

The prices are right, but the tradeoff is that you have to comb every rack to be sure you get the one thing that is destined for you.

Also great if you need half a wardrobe right now and on the cheap.

Most of the staff are cool and helpful(you probably won't need to ask for help since it's a treasure hunt ) but some have seen the dark side of retail a little too often and don't have time for you.

You won't find something every time you go, but when you do you can bet it will be $10 and awesome.

Lots of vintage clothing and clothing with character. Everything is $10 or less, which is pretty sweet. Endless selection of mom jeans and graphic tees. There's so much stuff, expect to do a lot of digging for that buried treasure. It's located underground, and the atmosphere is stuffy, crowded and very hipster. I'm not a fan of the change rooms, because you have a simple flimsy piece of cloth as a door, and I'm pretty sure people have seen my butt whilst changing. Overall, it's an essential pit stop on your queen st shopping ventures.

As a broke girl, I was wondering how in the hell I was going to get through a Toronto winter when I couldn't afford a new jacket. Well I got two of them here and made sure they layered up nicely. $10 each, and I was set for winter. The stock here can be hit or miss, because it is a second hand store after all. But if you're broke and need stuff on a budget, or like wearing some older duds, you can't go wrong with this place.

Always used to enjoy going here. But the glittery blonde struggling rockstar who works there is a miserable dink and never a picnic to deal with. Must be frustrated that his big break hasn t quite come yet. Until then, folding shirts in a Queen St basement and sticking it to others passes the time I suppose.

I felt like i was walking into a bed bugs dream. Nothing but piles of (what looked like) dirty clothes on the floor. A bunch of colthes on racks that weren't even cool. This place used to be great. Always an awesome place to find a cool vintage tshirt. It was as if they raided the donation bins and were trying to seel the garbage

With vintage and/or hipster clothing we all want something that fits our stylistic choices. BLC gives a lot of options for you to choose from for relatively cheap prices. They also often have sales which makes buying clothes even more affordable. While some of the clothes aren't my style, I have found some interesting or rare finds at this location.

Good luck in your shopping endeavours.

Everything $10 and under.

Everything $10 and under.
They make custom shirts which seem cheesy, and the rest of their stuff is extremely hit or miss. But the hits are some of my favorite things in my wardrobe, plus they were $5.
Obviously wear at your own hygienic discretion.

If you dont mind to get down and dirty this place is for you. You can definitely find a lot of things here for cheap. Got a brand new rain coat for $10. Most outerwear is $10 and shirts are around $5.

Super over rated from blogs. I did find a cute black pencil skirt, but most things aren't worth $10 in my opinion. Also if you're looking for Levi's and you're a small, the selection is suuuper limited fyi. I liked the decor though

I always plan to just 'take a look around quickly and not buy anything' which is impossible. I always walk out with a ton of stuff (but at least it's not expensive) The only negative thing I have to say, is that their quality of screen printing is pretty terrible. I have to be very careful when washing (on cold, inside out, don't dry) which is kind of a pain. 3/25 though so I can't really complain
