I have been visiting City of El Paso, Parks & Rec Department for several years now and I must say that my overall experience has been average. The facilities are well-maintained, but the staff could be more attentive to the needs of the visitors. It would be great if they could improve their customer service.
Polite woman answering phone but difficult to get a hold of a Supervisor. I wanted to report seeing 3 employees in 3 different city vehicles at a local park for over an hour just visiting and talking like teenagers....not appropriate on our tax dollars.
Nice park with wide open, level space. Picnic areas with shade around the perimeter. Parking is troublesome during bigger events. Like most city parks, plan on parking on the streets in the vicinity.
