Black Market Clothing Review

Have to visit the Black Market every time we go up to Toronto. So many things to look at, so don't think you'll just have a quick look!

Seriously such a great place ! For being a huge thrifter myself, this is a go to! Mostly everything is 10$, can always find something here. It can be a bit too humid during summer though especially when it s crowded.

You ll always find something great. A must when visiting Toronto or a day on Queen Street.

Black market is very cheap and adorable second hand items. You can find pretty cool stuff in here that won t break your pockets. Bought a couple things from here and I love them. Really sad to hear that they re closing down !!! :(

Very interesting. It is possible to pan large pieces, just have the patience to look.

Wide open place and we'll lit. It's really well organized. Though it said pop up on the door the salesperson said it's permanent. Good prices. Sunglasses prices were comparable to other Vintage places. Happy Shopping!!

Stumbled across Black Market when I was holidaying in Canada from Australia. This place is actually heaven, I have dreams about this place still I love it that much. The best value and the best variety I have ever seen in a vintage shop with such attractive prices. If you are in Toronto and have a good hour up your sleeve go here you wont be dissapointed. By far the best Vintage shop I have ever been too!

If you need clothing that is under $10 this is definitely the place to go. Used and vintage with a few new graphic tees this place is fantastic for cheap stuff you can throw together and not feel bad about.

Have definitely got some good deals from here, but you have to spend some time to look around. This place also makes my dust allergies act up, so I can't stay in there for long.

Love coming here whenever we are in Toronto. Always find something cool here.

Great place to find retro clothing and cool tees for a good price

Hands down best place to get T-shirts, been going there my whole life.

A Toronto staple. Been a customer since elementary school when they were across the street. Always a great place to check out.

It is an amazing store, full of items you both are and aren't expecting to see.

It's cool if you're in to that super grungy, bed bugs feel.

Favourite store! great items for $10 and under! They now have 2 locations right near each other which is pretty cool. The basement one is awesome because it gives a really cool "grudge" vibe to it! It's crazy the things you can find there like leather jackets/winter jackets, jeans, sweaters, Halloween costumes, etc.

Noisy, hot, clothing which you feel you will need to sanitize several times before using.

Can definitely find some gems here. You really have to hunt though

It's like value village meets a vintage shop. Not a bad place by any means just not my style.

Good choice of vintage and gently used clothes, pricing is not that bad either, I like the different styles from the 80's and 90's

really wish i could say better things about this place. customer service is always horrendous, no one knows how to smile. very unwelcoming :(

Interesting vintage/hipster theme throughout store. It's full of surprises. At first glance you might think that you won't find much but as you explore you find some really great thrifted items for $10. My only suggestion is that it would be nice if the mirrors were cleaned in the change rooms. Also the curtains in the change rooms should be longer. Otherwise keep up the great work Black Market.

one of the best shopping locations vintage and new in Toronto, you gotta go here if you want on trend/grungy or vintage clothes without the effort of thrifting.

My favourite thrift store. It has lots of orignal toronto graphic T's and the staff is hella friendly too. I start my shopping at this place and make my way up in prices. 10$ goes a long way here!

This store is full of great finds and has a really nifty feel to it. Everything is affordable! The salespeople are all approachable. There is something for everyone, from edgy t-shirts to funny buttons to cozy sweaters. I would recommend this place to everyone.

Love Black Market. Anytime im in the area, i make sure to visit it. Don't always buy eveytime but just love the vibe of the store.

They jacked up the prices from the original downstairs location, was actually pretty bummed about that. You used to be able to score amazing finds for $10 for years. I guess everyone has to make more money, so I understand.

Black Market clothing is great, I really enjoy that everything is $10.

A great place to dig for some great finds. Anything you want, you can probably find here. Although finding something quality does take time, it can often feel very rewarding.

Great deals and friendly staff! The deals on the leather jackets were the best part!

Where everything is$10. They have coats, pants leather jackets, jewelery, records and a barber shop. I would recommend everyone to experience this place once.

Cheap and fairly well stocked. Most items less than $10. great for jackets, sweaters and unusual t shirts.

Very inexpensive clothing if you are interested in seconds. most items are $10. Pretty reasonable price for used jeans. They also have a nice collection of denim and normal jackets. A steal for 10 bucks.

Always a shopping adventure! I go in thinking I'll have a look around...next thing I know I keep finding amazing things and great clothes at a super fair price.

Prices are ok. But staff are terrible. Have been there several times , each time the staff gave me long face when I tried to ask something. Just like other people said ., they don't know what customer service is.

Have to look for actual vintage, lot of printed Gildan tees

It s a good place if you are looking for clothes with retro vibes. However I d recommend adding more collection for women (specially sweaters/hoodies/sweatshirts). Would come again :)

Ever since finding this store two years ago, I've come back dozens and dozens of times. I'm a military uniform collector and you can find just about any US military uniform from the 1950s all the way up to the present day. And it's going to be 10 dollars! Sometimes I can find some nice East German stuff, too. My collection wouldn't be half the size it is now were it not for Black Market. The staff are also pretty friendly. Overall, probably my most favorite store in all of downtown!

Clothing shop, only reason for visiting was ShortStack records booth and they have moved to a new location.

The clothes were vintage as expected, so not so bad. But the staff, in particular one of the girls were TRASH (believe was the manager) Yelling and swearing because someone gave me something in a change room, just handed me it. I suggest not to go try on just buy thing you can try on in the store. If I could give this woman I rating lower than 1 star, I would.

Can't go wrong with $10 clothes! My only thing is I hate how odorous and grimy it is. Maybe it contributes to the vibes, aesthetics and ambience but I personally can't spend longer than an hour in there because of it. Pretty decent finds -- no brands or anything like that though! Just cool pieces you might find.

Huge selection of used vintage clothing and even some new stuff at a great price :) I've purchased some of my favorite shirts here. I also like that they have a band shirt section.

This has to be the coolest thrift store that I've been to! My finance and I stopped in while we were killing time before a concert and we were blown away. Unfortunately we didn't have the time to spend as much time in there as we would've liked to because of the concert, but we've definitely made a point to go back next time we're in town!

Great shop with lots of cool consignment clothing and newer clothes. Mostly printed t shirts, hats, but there is lots of cool and rare accessories as well. Its a landmark and an institution.

Been going to Black Market for years and I adore it! They have a great selection of everything: vintage, thifted pieces, accessories and a ton of t-shirts to choose from. The most reasonable prices in the city, for sure.

Everything here is dopu dopu. Over the years it maintains its vibe. Great music throughout. Vintage shirts and cheap gear.
