The food here is great! It's fun to be able to watch them making and baking your pizza in a traditional oven. They definitely stayed busy enough, even in the off season,which tells you that people really like the food there. Also, the staff here were the most gorgeous men that I saw on my whole trip in Ireland. The meal did end up a little pricey, but I was so excited for good Italian food that I didn't really mind.

Waited for two hours, first one we went to take a beer, when we came back one hour later as they told us we waited one hour more and then we decided to leave. Some people left and some tables were empty but it seems that they didn't want to take more customer. We didn't understand why if they had plenty of people waiting, they didn't prepare tables for new customers faster. Never again.

I was in Sligo for a few days and although I hadn't made a booking for a table the staff in Bistro Bianconi were able to accommodate me on Friday evening last even though the place was pretty busy. I was eating alone but was still made to feel that my custom was appreciated. This in no small part because of the wonderful waitress who served me (I think her name may have been Heather). I had a really good meal and will definitely return. Thanks Heather and all the staff.

It's ok.... Staff was very nice. Pizza was ok... But I guess we are in Ireland and not Chicago!

Arrived at 5pm on a Saturday evening expecting them to be booked out like a few of the other restaurants nearby. Welcome us in 2 adults and 3 kids and made us feel very welcome. Even though they were very busy we we're not rushed and the service was excellent. Food fantastic as always.

Pizzas nowhere near as good as they used to be about 10 years ago when they were possibly the best pizzas in the country. Toppings sometimes can lack a little nowadays.
It is still a great place but not an exceptional place.

Had takeaway from here. Pizzas were delicious. Thin base and piping hot. Lovely fresh green salad with dressing on the side. Reasonably priced too

Absolutely delish We ordered a take away in advance and collected it on time. It was ready and waiting for us piping hot. Pizzas were so tasty, beautiful bases and toppings.....yum, reminded us so much of Italy. We ordered chips as well, huge portions for us anyways, one bag between 2 would be fine. Social distancing was adhered to and staff very efficient. Definitely recommend a take away from here. Enjoy.

Absolutely amazing spot with friendly staff and some of the best Italian food in the country

It's like the pizzas and starters are flown in from Italy to your plate it was fantastico as they would say!! I'll be back again soon and probably have to be rolled out after.

Beautiful place to have something to eat... The steak is amazing, and the pizza is the best in town, and the chicken wings are amazing .... The staff are really friendly and professional, service is very good. I love coming here for a meal.

Excellent food. Disappointing table service. Our server was not very pleasant, and was overheard swearing about guests from the next table who had omitted to leave a cash tip upon departure. Maybe the server was having a bad night, but that's not something patrons should ever know! The food deserves a five star rating, the server's poor attitude reduces that to four stars for me. It's not just about the food folks!

We love this place normally but tonight was very busy and service was slow, two very sleepy little boys weren't impressed

Brilliant restaurant and super food. Tirimisu to die for. The pizza and peroni good too. Friendly staff and good value but not cheap... You get the quality you pay for! It was recommended to us back in England and we were not disappointed. Booking essential to avoid being turned away at the door as it is so popular.

Hate to disagree with other reviewers but I found it lacking. Went on a Saturday night before 6. Service was slow. I got the fish pasta, it was long on pasta but short on fish. Tried to be sociable to the waiter but that wasn't happening. Would try someplace else next time.

Nice spot to stop for lunch - really amazingly friendly service as if we were really in Italy! We were a little confused about the pizza ordering process - they only sell by the slice, but the ones we got were excellent, especially the vegetarian. I loved my spaghetti carbonara, unusually strong flavors.

Front of house management seems miserable with no regard to their waiting staff which sparks a chain reaction to rude service and care free attitude.
Having a chat with head chef proved he has no real training except years of service and knowledge of where items are stored.
A beautiful ambience is a nice veil to those who aren't in the hospitality trade.
With this in mind I would not be ordering anything in high risk nature from back of house, right down to the ice blocks in my drink from front of house.

Got food poisoning from this place. The pizzas are probably worth passing on if you've had real Italian pizzas and not ones with mayonnaise or hotdogs on them.

DISGUSTING!!!!! Pizza was RAW! chilli parcel was RAW! ordered chicken wings which are normally a full box to find less than half a box. Thankfully I didn't eat any of it and avoided getting food poisoning!!!!! This place has become a disgrace!

We had a 3 course meal off the early bird menu, everything was perfect, one of the niceset steaks i have had, staff were very helpful, defenitly would go back, 5 stars

Excellent food. Efficient and friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.

The food is always incredible and the first time I visited the waiter was so on point I was in awe of how good he was at his job but the second time I dined here the waitress we had was so bad at her job it was almost comical but very disappointing even her fellow colleagues seemed to be getting annoyed with her also the guys on pizza should really watch what they are saying when the tables beside that section can hear everything they are saying!

Traditional wood oven pizza & italian restaurant. Their brie salad is excellent as a starter and if you choose a 12 inch pizza you can split it with 2 different topings. Their black pudding pizza was an interesting experience to try but they have a large menu of other food options and drinks.

One of my all time favourites. Great food and atmosphere as always.

Visited here in July. As others have stated the pizzas and especially the steak were fantastic. Service was excellent

Sat. nite eight people with no reservation and the place was packed. They welcomed us with open arms, put a table together for us and we all agreed we had one of the best Italian meals ever. South Philly would have been hard pressed to do better !

Wow wow and wow. This was probably the best pizza I have ever had. My wife ordered a bccc desert and was also fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant. They have a wood fire pizza oven!
