I travelled to Miami on a trip for work. The hotel is located in a good area and offers great views of the water. The room was clean and the hotel offers pleasant amenities. There are several nearby eateries and its pretty easy to get around. The staff needs a little help though. When I checked out I noticed a few things were wrong with the charges on my account. I checked in as tax exempt and I was still charged. I was also charged for long distance phones calls. I completely understand things happen so I did not make a fuss about it, I figured I would call and get them to make the appropriate changes. The very next day (Saturday) I call explain the problem and the customer service attendant ensures me she made the changes. I asked for an updated receipt via email and never received the receipt. The next day I call and they redirect me to the accounting department. No big deal.. I leave a message and wait a few days for a return call. I never received a return call so I called back with the same problem. I am transferred around the hotel and given yet another voicemail for the accounting department. So I left another message. I asked for the manager explained the situation to him and he vowed to deliver the message to the accounting department. Here we are almost 2 weeks out.. I am still waiting for a return call. Moral of the story is don't check out without reviewing your receipt.

Everyone I encountered at your hotel was so very accommodating kind hospitable professional and profesdional such as Ronaldo the chef in Fresh Bites Kirk the delivery service associate and Nicholas the shuttle driver. Desk staff served with grace and dignity. The porters who work the drop off and pick up area as well as the bell men on every shift were extremely gracious. I even saw a young manager pick up a piece of litter from the welcome mat at the entrance. That is truly management/ leadership. There was also one young man who was exceptionally personable as well, Terek Maddox. He is a welcoming face for people who have never been to your location. He helped me find my way around the sites near the hotel on foot as I enjoy walking.

As for housekeeping myroom was expertly maintained Whatever you are doing at this Marriott needs to be replicated and taught in hospitality schools. My experience here surpassed my stay at the Sheraton in Times Square NY.

Finally please commend your staff in the restaurant as well. While I did not dine there, I visited. I was treated with the utmost kindness and respect. It is these things that make a business. Of course the amenities are important but it's the personnel that make your service and you have some fine people in your organization. Thank you, it was truly my pleasure to be your guest. 5 star would be worthy given my room gave me an in...

5 star would be worthy given my room gave me an incredible view. But the other stuff that I'm about to get to brings the rating down.

First there were few bugs in my room. I'm not sure if they are roaches or what but the bugs were there. Called security and they basically came in and asked few questions and took some information down. Security didn't look nor did he sound surprised which led me to believe this may not have been their first incident.

Secondly the front staff workers are incredibly slow. Both at checking and checking out.

Bar the above issues the hotel seemed clean and it's closer to a lot of things that are around and easy to get to.

Definitely a fantastic experience for us. We loved the bay view, most rooms should have it. Amenities were good and the customer service was great. We took the buffet breakfast, whereas it wasn't great per se, but the omelette bar made us great omelettes which was quite heavy infact!
Of you are staying here, you are a bit away from downtown; one easy and free option to go there would be to take the sky train which is just a block away.

When I tell you I lovedddddd this hotel , I mean I LOVED IT ! Great views , awesome restaurant with great food !! I don't know what mattress they had us laying on but it was loveeee. Very clean and pictures online are exactly what you are getting . My tv wasn't working for about 20 minutes and they gave us a complimentary gift for such which wasn't necessary but they did. Awesome customer service and friendly staff. I will definitely stay here everytime I'm in Miami !!

Service was great. Rooms are pretty dated. Our fridge didn t work(they replaced) and the windows were filthy dirty on the outside. View was great if it wasn t for all the stains on the window.

Good value. Get what you pay for.

Good Location. Everything else is good except......
Except some servers in the restaurant. Sulky faces with no smiles make you feel why did I make the mistake to come here... So I don t eat there anymore. I eat my breakfast outside where I get better hospitality.
A few disinterested employees can spoil a nice brand

Clean and centrally located. Rooms are nice but showing some age. Have to add -the staff here were all super friendly, especially the bartenders and servers at the Catch restaurant. Great food and drinks too!

Room was clean and comfy, everything inside hotel which was convenient! My husband and I went with another couple and we just enjoyed the view and everything the hotel had to offer! Valet service was on point

Outdated.

Outdated.
We're on the 41st fl., but the furniture is old, peeling, cracked floors, just ragged looking for a Penthouse.
They're stingy with the cookies, 1 when u arrive? Please, u should get as many as you want, but these blasted milenials are always trying to run something and the can barely read. What college did they complete, Kaplan on line or Florida business school....on line, of course!

Very clean, quiet place.
I really appreciate elevators speed. And the cleaning service - they are very precise.
Thinks to improve:
1. Internet connection could be slightly better.
2. Access cards sometimes just don't work, you have to try multiple times.

The front desk staff was next to useless but the cleaning crew was amazing. Also they had people doing maintenance on the windows and a guy almost saw my wife naked as he was lifting himself up. At least give people heads up when somebody will randomly come by their window.

I am still taken away and wish I was still at Marr...

I am still taken away and wish I was still at Marriott Biscayne Bay. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. I was visiting with my Fiancee for a quick mini getaway to Miami (my first time there, were from California) and as soon as we arrived Valet and the bell service are there to assist you to your check-in.

We had arrived early morning from a red eye flight (Labor Day Weekend) and just wanted to shower and rest before going out to explore. Thank God I called ahead of time to make sure everything was set up as I mentioned we were coming all the way from Cali and I wanted things to be perfect. I had spoke with a young lady named Khalillah over the phone who ensured me that everything would be to my liking. When we arrived we were greeted by Barbara the front desk agent and she was perfect even though there was a slight mix up with our room she was quick to fix the situation and assured us to be in constant communication.

Later that afternoon once our room was ready I actually had the pleasure of meeting Sharissa M. who from the moment she meet me went WELL ABOVE and BEYOND. She is truley the best at what she does and making sure that my stay was everything and more then I could ever imagine. She gave us tips on local places to visit as well as eat. And She literally was just a phone call away with any issue we had which was close to none.

The only problem we had was the a/c but once again Sharissa was quick to get that fixed for us. I can not wait to come back and will gladly want to stay at Marriott Biscayne Bay. It was also close to everything we needed to do or drive to as we did have a rental car. Just wanting to stay longer next time. Once again thank you to the 3 ladies menitoned and the rest of the staff.
