My friend and i had a wonderful time. I was lucky enough to have had a PENGUIN FEEDING time brought for me. So not only was my personal experience wonderful, the staff were excellent in knowledge and making it so special. But the complete complex was lovely, all staff very helpful. We also saw a very informative flying display. Cafe was very reasonably priced and the food we chose was nice and tasty. Thanks all for such a fantastic time.

It's alright for half a day out if you want to stop for lunch as well. The enclosures are starting to look a bit dated. The birds looked in good condition, although a few were minus some feathers.
Some of the enclosures were very similar with the birds they had being the same in different ones.

Super place for kids. Also included in admission is Jenny Wren farm and Underwater world. Often something extra going on during holidays, too (ie Halloween). Good value entrance fee, but food and drink prices not so. Take a picnic!

Fun - zoo for birds, large with lots to see. Their seasonal events / grottos are good enough for the entry price (really interactive) kids luv it! Get entry to the aquarium whilst your there.

Last went 6 years ago and thought it looked tired and in need of repairs/updates to the enclosures then. Took my 5yo son today as he wanted to go and see penguins and owls. Wish I hadn't bothered, we missed the 2 encounters that were on More

I've been here twice. Very nice place which is surprisingly large and includes a farm and a small aquarium as well. Look online for buy one get one free vouchers. They're usually available for here all year so will save you a bit. :)

Really good day out but for the bird display we were queuing up for, we were at the front of the queue with two buggies and all the other children pushed Infront of us so we couldn't see a lot of the display. Then we queued up for the "train" which was a little disappointing. But we did all enjoy ourselves. Not sure I would rush back but will go again in a few years.

We had a great day today, lots of space for the kids to run around, room for picnics etc. It's not huge but plenty to entertain and inform with presentations in the various enclosures. Penguin feeding time was a big hit.

Mixed feeling about this place. I suspect I don't agree with the main principle of this place- keeping birds in average size cages.. birds should be free to fly..
the entrance and coffee shop look rather tired. disgusting fried food- sausage & chips on the menu etc. The cakes are good. not sure I would come TBH

I never minded the price after being in the place for few hours as hope that those poor birds in the tiny enclosures will benefit from some of the money and get bigger ones! Gardens are kept lovely the aquarium was bit dated with one tank so murky we couldn't see in.

Underwater world closes at 4, half an hour before Birdworld, despite one admission ticket covering both and being advised "the park" closes at 4.30. My son was inconsolable. I'll be writing to management.

Brilliant place. Saw penguins being fed, beautiful birds everywhere some even loose in the trees overhead. Had a talk about some the animals and birds that were there. The walk through the farm was so good. Finally a walk through Underwater World before leaving. The staff were very pleasant and knowledgeable. I was a parent helper on a school trip so didn't get to use the restaurant but we had use of picnic tables for our lunch. A great day out for young and old.

great day out and they seem to be taking the social distancing seriously with regular handwash/sanitiser stations and signed footpaths to keep people away from another
