Suitable for young children. We were not impressed with the living conditions of the penguins. Had a large shop and a good restaurant.
Didn't see it at its best, owing to weather. Forget Safari train as a waste of time, but rest of it is decent and fair value for money. Disabled access round the place is pretty good, so no biggies if you got buggies or wheelchairs...
Food edible no bar all of time friendly staff dusty car park ok
10/10 Had a great day at birdworld!!!! Thank you!
Great facilties..welcoming staff.
Brilliant year1 school day out.
;)
Nice place with nice staff, unfortunately the restaurant was closed at the time of my visit
A fun few hours .but a bit expensive and the underwater world I think is pathetic its a row of small aquariums in a dark shed
Great for children - cafe could do with some work tough
Fantastic selection of birds and wildlife. Good for adults and children. Myself and my girlfriend went today, managed to see and do everything on offer, grab an ice-cream and eat a packed lunch. Expect around 4 or so hours here. Ice-cream kiosks and amenities take card which is very helpful and the staff are all very friendly.
I took my 14 month old son here as a treat, he is fascinated by birds. Let me tell you it was a roaring success! The park is huge, you simply don't know how big until you arrive. There is not just birds here. Jenniwrens farm has farmyard animals, goats, sheep and pigs. There are so many enclosures for birds. Flamingoes, penguins and a really touching tribute to Sir Terry Pratchett (one of my favourite authors) in the form of an owl sanctuary. There are plenty of toilet facilities, food kiosks and a gift shop. There are at least three play areas too. It is a brilliant place and comes highly recommended. Kids under 3 are free!
Amazing place to visit worth the money kids had lots of fun feeding the animals holding some and also playing at the park will be going back again x
I was suprised and delighted with my recent vistit to Christmas at Birdworld. I (grand-dad), Nanny, my pensioner Brother-in-Law and my 46 year old Son took my Grandson for a visit to fantasy land and to meet with Father Christmas, and we were most suprised at the enjoyable experience had by all.
The anamatronics and the displays were good, Santa and his Elves were very friendly and very gentle with a little 2.3/4 year old who is not yet confident with strange people. However, after Santa there came a marvelous supprise that was a pure delight for both Grandson and the three other 'big kids' that were with me.
It is nice to come away from an event feeling that you have received value for money and on this occasion it was really so.
Wonderful place to visit with family... children especially is going to love it...
Birds and animals seemed well looked after , if you go on the strength of seeing a fine crocodile be warned it's really small! Flying display was good, as were the other displays. Did hear the funniest misnaming of a bird species when a person said, whilst looking at a 'Great Crested Crane' Oh look at that fancy chicken " - it beggars belief. All in all worth a visit.
Nice route around the park . Could get up close to most of the birds. Buggy and wheelchair friendly. Couple of places to buy food and drink
First time back in years, and it was as good as I remember.
Lovely place for a family day out.
A wonderful variety of birds and also a reptile house & a small children's farm. There are also play areas for the children, a very good gift shop, & various places for drinks, snacks, meals & ice creams.
Really well managed and set out by the staff at Birdworld. Let down by the inconsiderate (or stupid) visitors. Still gave 5 stars as Birdworld can't be blamed for the behaviour of the people who go in. For a family who have been shielding, we really appreciated the obvious efforts they have gone to, to make it safe. Well done.
A great place to take young children! Lots of birds to see, penguin feeding, and other animals too! Rabbit petting, mice to handle, and pigs to see. Also lots of real small baby ducklings too.
really nice day out, relaxing and chilled. a great British day out for kids and adult. (do feed the parrots, despite the signs, they are so gentle and grateful for the mealworms, and they take it from your finger with their tongue. it's lovely)
Go early, plenty to do still, the only think closed was aquarium. Good value for money, the kids loved the birds and the farm animals.
A very enjoyable day. Considering the situation with the virus the staff had the park well organised.
Lovely family day out. Lots to see and do. Penguins were a favourite but many other animals to enjoy. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Took advantage of voucher online to get one adult ticket free. Check out Hampshire's top attractions website.
A lot of different birds. Great photograph opportunity
Great day out. I enjoyed the day here especially the penguins!
Really good family day out, not cheap but in comparison to some parks really good value
It's okay bit dated, might be better on a sunny afternoon definitely a am or pm activity not sure there is enough for a whole day
Great place to spend a few hours. Shop on the expensive side. Lots stuffed toys and collectable animals, made in China, so profit margins high.
Visit every year. Love this place and the creatures.
Excellence place to go with kids on weekend, lots of birds, some animals and playgrounds. Although feeding and aquarium remain closed.
Lovely place to take kids. Half a day is more than enough.
Great place for the family to visit, great after the lockdown blues
Excellent. Lots of birds... Keeper Jack is like Steve Irwin of the birds! Cacaw.
We enjoyed visiting the animals. Great set up for halloween
