Lovely to visit birdworld again... You need to book online so they can control the numbers, once your there everything is controlled extremely well with one way signs on the ground and hand sanitisers around the park... We felt completely safe and really enjoyed the day.... Everyone spotless and staff friendly

Had a great day with the grandchildren. They loved the farm part and climbing on the tractors. Lots going on during school holidays. Plenty of places to have a picnic and play. A good day out.

Fun for all. Lots of space and play equipment if children want to run around. Petting zoo, underwater world and so many birds. The live shows are great too. Price is right, food is reasonable and facilities kept well.

We had such a lovely day at Birdworld. We took our recently turned 5 son. There was a lot to do and some really lovely areas in the park. Our favourite was the farm, chickens are running around freely. There were a lot of baby animals too so it was adorable. We had lunch in the garden centre next door. The cakes are amazing there! Anyway we are definitely going back and probably getting an annual pass. Highly recommending Birdworld.

I'd describe this as a 'large small park'. Nicely designed, tidy enclosures, tidy animals. Many vary inquisitive, which made for a more interesting visit.

Staff were knowledgeable and cheerful without imposing themselves on anyone.

Seeing the corpses of carnivores next meals strewn about cages took some getting used to but I guess is not uncommon for these places.

Loved it & will go again for sure.

Visited Santa grotto which was lovely and not commercial like other grotto where you are constantly photographed to purchase at the end. Adults got a warm mulled wine and a very tasty mincepie. The child gift was a very good book

We spent a very pleasant day here. With the various flying shows and feeding times it was a full day. Lots to entertain children. Our favourite part was their owl area which was really well done. We bought our tickets via clubcard which was very reasonable - although it would equally have been fine if we had paid full price.

Awesome place for kids and adults, a fairly large collection of birds, very friendly and helpful staff. My toddler boy enjoys the farm too. Annual membership is a little expensive compared to Marwell but they do offer longer opening hours. Park is nicely laid out, small enough for quick 2 HR visit. Recommend this

We had a great time as a family, despite some wind and rain. Some really beautiful animals. There are a good number of playgrounds around the site for younger children, which kept our 2 entertained! Really enjoyed the farm area, getting to hold mice and rabbits, and stroke the goats! I've removed a star because there is still something really sad about seeing e.g. glorious snowy owls trapped inside a relatively small cage. Maybe it's anthropomorphizing too much, but they sometimes look so depressed, like they just want to fly free!

It was a fun and interesting short day out for bird and animal lovers, we didn't expect to be there a good full day, we saw the bird shows, the farm is great for the children, we had a good time and came away with additional knowledge, cannot comment on food as we didn't use restaurants. Would recommend if you enjoy animals and are looking for an easy enjoyable day that doesn't leave you feeling exhausted.

A great selection of beautiful birds plus some farm animals. Different talks on the birds and there are flight displays. There is an area where you can get drinks and food but there is also a child friendly pub next door where you can get some dinner afterwards with a garden and children's play areas. Nice way to spend the day.

Really good place for children. It's even got its own aquarium next to it and that's free to go in after you've been in the bird world! The gift shop's massive and it sells amazing stuff. And the new farm they have put in is so great too and it's good cause the bird world isn't just all about birds; there are
E.g chickens, pigs goat etc.

A really great experience for all ages over 6 years old. You have the option at the start to buy pots of food which you can then feed to a variety of birds including parrots that were extremely gentle and well kept.

Some entertaining shows and interesting knowledge shared throughout the day.

Highly recommend.

Good place with lot of bird species from domestic ducks to Pelicans , Fleming, Emu, variety of parrots, Kiwi, fish aquarium with rare and near extinction fish species, couple of alligators, a turtles family and many varieties of Owl. We enjoyed throughly going around. The best part of the visit is to fed the birds. Most attractions elsewhere do not allow to feed animals. They also have a cage with lovebirds where visitors can enter and can touch and feed them.

They also have a small farm with hens, chickens, rabbit. The main attraction is Reindeer.

There is a garden restaurant Adjacent to bird world with decent hot food choice. All in all an enjoyable day out. You may not full day but there are plenty to cover. You may get bored after watching few cages.

Memories have been made!
We visited Birdworld over the Easter holidays with our children (aged 5 & 7 years) and had an amazing time! The children loved all the different birds, especially seeing the peacocks wandering around and talking to the parrot! The farm is a lovely addition and being able to pet the animals was a big hit. A great park with climbing etc and a nice picnic area too. The staff were friendly and luckily the weather was dry! A great day, we will definitely go back.

Had the best time at bird world, just when I thought it must be coming to an end I was constantly proven wrong. There's so much to see. A fabulous day out with friends, I can imagine this would be brilliant for children, I will be going again

Loved Birdworld!
Only tip would be about the food...we used the pass to get to the garden centre next door but then found there was a food place inside. Not sure what they did but personally I would rather buy at Birdworld to help support them than go next door.

Always have a good time here with my young family. If you take the time to learn about the birds and appreciate them, there is an absolute plethora of species and information to take in and admire. Along with the shows they do, and the farm where you can hold the mice and pet the rabbits and guinea pigs, before heading outside and looking at some rare species in the underwater world. Don't go to near the crocodiles though... It all adds up to a great day out.

Much bigger than first thought.

Much bigger than first thought.
Got there for when it opened and was nice and quiet so easily got round to all the places.
I felt that some of the cages were pretty small for one or more birds living in there and that made me feel a bit sad.

Enjoyed the crafts on offer and the park/farm.

Only annoying thing was having to come in and leave through the gift shop so the child I was with wanted everything which is a shame if you cannot afford to spend additional money. I wouldn't mark it down a star as there was plenty to do and the grounds were big, just something to pass on.

Great attraction for young ones, with access to the main Bird World, Underwater World and the petting farm. Bird World has plenty of different species and was well laid out (the Owl Parliament was a particularly nice touch).

The petting farm has an animal encounter (staff-run) where kids got to pet rabbits and Guinea pigs, and hold mice, as well as enclosures where it was possible to get closer to some other animals.

Underwater World isn t that big but has a decent number of small tanks and a couple of bigger ones. Despite the limited size there seemed to be a good variety of fish/sea creatures to see.

There was plenty of parking, the restaurant was fine but there were picnic benches outside that I would be tempted to make use of in nicer weather, the toilets and baby change facilities were clean and warm, and the paths in the park were paved, wide and accessible except in the petting farm where they were muddier/covered in straw (our pram wheels got pretty clogged up here, though this isn t likely to be an issue in nicer weather).

Overall a bit expensive in terms of ticket price, but a really nice day out.

Very friendly and helpful staff as the flamingo area was closed so I was unable to see my plaque as i adopted one. They put a plaque out especially for me in the temporary home and printed one out for me. I came all the way from Cornwall so couldn't go back so they made it special for me. I was very grateful.

Really e moved birdworld and the farm was an unexpected bonus. The fish bit needs some money spent on it.. It's not changed in over 20 years but we had a lovely day and the children enjoyed it. Easy disabled access everywhere.
