Great for a day out.... may not be much for shopping as better deals elsewhere. Easy one location for Big brands makes it world popular!
Fantastic experience, great brands with outlet prices!
Prices aren t often so discounted that it s worth the wait, but some stores offer great value! Coach often has additional percentages off - overall it s the best place in the U.K. to buy clothes and accessories, but don t go with the plan to get something specific, go hunting for a variety of items and you won t be disappointed!
If you like the whole designer purchasing with a slightly smaller wallet then you will find something you want here no doubt
Only go here for a few shops very clean but gets to crowded at times but nice to visit
Bicester Village, where the measure for quality is how slowly can you be served. Price check online. Most items I looked at I found cheaper on the stores own online stores.
Creperie Angelie: it's really wonderful. There are sweet and savoury options.
You will find some great bargains here. A must visit if you visit the UK
This is my first time here. The place is good for shoppers. So many popular Brands over the world. Nice and clean place. I face a problem in parking lot. They should cover more space for parking lot. We roam about 5 to 10 minutes for parking space. I like the girls in Tommy's showroom . I'll visit again in March may be...
Love it here but the new system about booking a time slots did not work for us did not get in half the shops we wanted
What a convoluted experience! My goodness, so I visited at around 6pm on a Tuesday and was surprised at how full the car park was. A number of stores were randomly closed or you had to book to enter the store. The stores however were verging on empty which was surprising given how full the car park was. Annoyingly, this was a wasted trip. On arrival I approached the gucci store to be asked if I had booked. Am I supposed to telepathically know what the conditions attached to visiting their store as a customer are!? Quite a few stores have implemented this approach. I wouldn't plan to visit again any time soon. Reportedly there is an 85% decline in Bicester Village shoppers which is no surprise considering how difficult it is for shoppers. What's wrong with wearing a mask, using hand sanitiser and limiting the amount of shoppers at any one time!
Love this place!! The discounts on top of the discounts is always pleasing! Loads of places to stop for food, snacks, ice cream, noodles or proper sit down meals. Plentiful parking and people to help.
I can t say it was an enjoyable experience but I m basing my visit during times of Covid. They are operating a Virtual Queue system. You need to download the Bicester Village app and scan a bar code situated outside the store.
You ll get told how many are in front of you and when it gets to your turn to gain entry you ll get a message and have 10 minutes to get in. Not every store is operating this system but the majority are.
If you are into designer stores you ll love the choice available but the virtual queue system doesn t make it an enjoyable visit. I know we all have to work together in these difficult times but I ll definitely not be visiting again until this is all over.
First day open from March lockdown. A lot of people in almost all the stores. Toilets open. Pret and food stalls open. Come before store opening time for good parking.
Very busy, with mixed social distancing rules and a half effective digital queuing system which meant we waited 45 minutes to get into one store but could enter the massively overcrowded one next to it with no wait. There needs to be much better, universal rules put in place. Did not enjoy my visit.
Reasonable range of upmarket shops with some "bargains" to be had. Like the farmhouse cafe but it is a little short of places to eat. Also not under cover so not such a nice experience in the rain!
Great place to mooch .. but can t be doing with queuing for a cup of tea ... for the amount of people visiting, BV needs far more places to have a nice cup of tea in comfort. I ended up going to Costa in the new shopping park.
Lots of people here and almost non existence of social distancing. Difficult to find parking even at 11am on a Wednesday. There is a free park and ride carpark within close proximity. Virtual queues in some of the outlets. Great place for all your designer goods. Was just a short visit this time as I was just passing by. Would visit again.
Very busy, especially with Christmas approaching very fast. Good selection of dranded shops. If you plenty of patience and like fashion and discounts is the place to be.
Had a great time, Huge Discounts, Parking available, Nice Plants all over.
OK.. very busy..some good jobs..some decent discounts
A tacky shopping centre comprised of big brands in painted sheds. It's recent expansion closed an important cycle route and it's future plans build atop a green space for local Bicester people. More like a cheesy theme park than a village. Not welcome.
Great selection of stores and prices were much the same as Kildare Village in Ireland where I regularly visit.
There is a train to/from London which is very useful and runs frequently. Variety and number of stores is good, so you do need a couple of hours at least to go around.
If you are brazen enough, you could try get a VIP 10% discount card from the information point.
Some of the stores are quite big and have very good prices. Barbour I found was exception value for the coats.
Loads of designer shops! With many variety to choose from. Thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Bicester village. They have a contemplation rook which I thought was simply amazing for all religions. Staff are all kind and extremely helpful. Would go again and recommend to all. Remember to bring your card as you can end up spending thousands
Generally good but could be better.. If u r travelling from London buy train tickets @ Station tickets office not d machines specially if travelling as a family( u will save aloooot)
Nice place to spend few hours. You can find good products and items on very good prices. Free parking. Clean and civilised.
Village itself is very well designed and maintained.
Brand shops are packed with unwanted stock with unpopular sizes from previous collections.
Very very busy, some of the shops have a virtual queuing system to combat queues
Very Long queues to actually even get in the main gate was like at least 2 hours then virtual queue system for all the good shops most of the main brands shops are closed as capacity was reached from quiet early on trip was in total 5 hours from the point we reach there are till the point we left and we still don't get to go in a couple shops solely because they were closed, disappointed.
Excellent outlet store near London with many bargains especially on the high end brands. Easy transport to and from London and with many places to eat or just sit and rest.
The famous shopping destination near Oxford. Shops of all brands which include luxury, fashion, sporr, etc.
Tourists can redeem tax refund at ChangeGroup, next to visitor centre.
Prices in mosr of the shops are quite standard. Discount promotion occurs occasionally.
For those who love shopping, this is definitely a place you want to pay pilgrimage to.
There are lots of high-end brands and different types of apparels displayed in the beautiful shops there.
Though the shopping village is not really that large, you can easily spend hours there. Time flies.
However, for those who have no interest in shopping, like me, staying here for more than an hour can be... something. There are very few cafes or restaurants where you can enjoy a cup of coffee while waiting for your loved ones to finish their missionsssssss.
If they are determined to "battle" for a few hours and you are just like me, want some time out from this village, the nearest place where you can find solitude in a small church (St. Edburg's Church) nearby. The scenery of the church and the cemetery beside it is beautiful, particularly on a sunny day. It's within walking distance from the village.
Handled the virus badly, but still had great shops. During these times I found it particularly distressing to see the lack of the ability to social-distance in any areas. From the get-go my temperature was checked and I did have to queue to get in because of the limited amount of people allowed inside of the village. The queue was tediously long and was housed in such a tiny area that nobody had a chance to even try to socially distance. This could ve easily been countered by using a digital queuing system like a lot of shops had implemented. Although requiring a mobile device to enter might have seemed classist the place still only had high-end shops not to mention the fact that a good amount of shops required digital queuing. Also, considering the demographics of people who would be visiting the village, young middle to upper-class people it would be reasonable to assume that most people coming would have a device. Also, although requiring a device might not allow some people to enter, that it dwarfed by the risk of infecting people with the virus. On the streets of the village it was impossible to distance yourself from others, although stopping stupid people from abiding to the rules is not always possible, some steps could ve been taken eg. moving eateries away from the centres of paths and losing the limit of people allowed into the village .
The shops were an order of magnitude better than Bicester Outlet although a social-distance was hard to maintain in a lot of them, they still all had employees wearing masks or visors, unlike the employees of the outlet . They also had virtual queues, one-way, marked out systems and easily accessible mandatory hand sanitizer. It was a shame to see the the lassez-faire approach of the village, causing shops to set the president, having to do all of the work in containing the virus.
Overall I was very disappointed by the seeming lack of any effort by Bicester Village and really wish that they had done better.
Edit: I forgot my bathroom review
Bathroom Review*
The bathrooms were clean with a nice asethetic as well as a relatively hands-free hand-cleaning system.
The soap smelled nice and was foamy enough to feel satisfying once finished with.
The hand lotion was provided by Molton Brown and felt amazing to use. It dried quickly, moistured well, was dispensed in a good dosage, easily and smelled great.
Overall it was one of the best bathrooms I have visited, with the lotion being the star of the show, even if it was just an advertisement for one of the shops.
*My experiences are just for the men s bathroom, I did not experience the disabled nor women s bathrooms and therefore cannot speak about them
Been several times easy parking it's worth going if you want designer clothes they sometimes have good deals it's worth a look if you want something special! If you're driving we try to get there for about 10.00 after that it gets very busy quickly harder to find parking!
Great place where you can get lots of high quality designer items at a good price. Lots of places to eat as well and a good variety of shops
Gr8 place - lots of individual big brand name outlet shops! Some of them: polo ralph lauren, Armani, hugo boss kids & adults, tory burch, le creuset, coach, Calvin Klein, juicy couture, Gucci, under armour, white company, zadig and voltaire, lalique glass, mulberry, burberry, prada, etc etc
Discounts not as deep as I thought but you can pick up the odd few excellent bargains if you take up some of their 'sale' offers (e.g.. buy 3 or more and get further 20% off) etc + join their privilege club (register) for 20% off from some of the retailers (can't be combined with any other sale offers). Need at least half a day to go through the shops. Also has eateries and cafes onsite. They are doing automatic temperature readings on entry and most shops advise/require mask as mandatory during covid times.
Recommended!
The registration system didn't work but got into the store not all shop's have this system in place worth a visit
it used to be very nice and cheaper.. now its almost same price as London.. so not worth going.. not many sizes .. if you are lucky you can get some good discounts in sales.
Always find it difficult to find many good deals for men, but apparently it s great for women!
1. Shopping paradise
2. Cheaper price
3. Prayer room available (search for Contemplation Room, near to the toilet)
4. Must try the Belgian waffle
5. Kid play area
BV is okay, it has a beautiful little community of shops, if you lucky enough you might get the deals but most of the times it is very expensive, many members of staff looks miserable/ unhappy unsure if they are paid properly or simply haven't been trained in customer care! Anyway it is always very busy which is good for the locals but I believe they could do a bit more with the crazy train situation of ignorant individuals not letting commuters out.
Too many people yesterday. It was Black Friday weekend. So some queues were very long. There weren't that many extra discounts available in the shops I visited . Should have gone on a different day!
Nice place to buy branded bags, clothes. I did get a very good deal and bought 3 hand bags.
Live Bicester, good time to go as the summer sales are on, hunt around for a bargain
Lady who served in Jo Malone was very miserable and unfriendly
Great shopping experience, would like more choices to eat. A bit overcrowded during weekends.
I spent a lot of time and money here.
Pls reserve enough time for shopping.
Bicester Village is The Ultimate destination for the die hard shopper. I would also say the intelligent shopper as you get great deals on some of the best brands in clothing, shoes, watches, jewellery & much more. It doesn't really matter to me if a high end designer bag design is just one season old - with the minor change of say one buckle instead of two or a variation in colour. Besides shopping, the place is so prettily decorated with seasonal flowers & lights dotting the outdoors. Some great eateries too to keep you happy. Toilets are very very well maintained. Highly recommended place for shopaholics.
What a lovely place, shops are superb. Only black mark for me was the amount of prima donnas walking like they own the place with not a mask to be seen and most of them needed to wear one for our sake. Not only because of the virus but also because they're ugly. Enjoy the experience of Bicester village it's so good but also do the people watching thing and have a laugh.
Bicester Village is a nice little outlet centre for buying high fashion labels at low prices. From bags, to shoes, jeans to jackets and more, genuine goods all at big discounts from the actual designer outlet shops.
The whole village is spotlessly clean, and well worth a few hours to visit if you like designer fashion.
Shopping here was a great day out. The shopping village itself is well laid out and easy to get around. Has a great feel and all the shops are very cute.
The variety of shops is great from wellies to ball gowns it has a little bit of something for everyone. It s worth getting here early, especially on the weekends, as it can get very busy. Thankfully you ll be glad to hear Pret is open before all the shops so you won t have to wait out in the cold.
Really looking forward to visiting again. So many good deals to be had!
First time here. Lots of Marshall's in car park area, none with shopping precinct marshalling thoroughfare as people free for-all and not following signs to stay left. Very disappointing.
Nice selection of branded stores. Can find a few real bargains, some stores not such great discounts. Ample parking right outside. Helpful staff in red capes giving out maps and directions. A lot of tourists. Limited dining with a few coffee shops and restaurants.
A great place to buy 160 brands at discounted prices. Parking is a big issue o holidays or week end
As usual got dragged along with the wife, ended up getting an early birthday present. Shops quieter than normal, still queues to some of bigger names. Staff not really enforcing face masks in the village. But folk will be folk. All in all, a good day out
Wonderful day, beautiful shopping, good food.. just perfect
Unfortunately not my cup of tea. Seems that people who shop here have more money than sense. I have to be brutally honest that most visitors would do more for their appearance by taking up a new sport or getting into fitness and dieting than plastering themselves with designer fabric. The COVID proofing also meant that you have to commit to visiting only specific shops as the virtual queuing system does eat up a lot of time.
Ahhhhh!!! I'm a guy get me out of here... is the show they'd make about this place. I cannot imagine a worse place to spend a few hours over the weekend, at least they have a Pret, somewhere to grab a coffee and hide from the masses.
You walk around and see lots of loyal partners following, staring into the distance contemplating a dash for the exit.
If you want to go, make it a weekday evening, much quieter so you can stand inside a shop looking at your phone without being pushed around by the masses or asked to leave because you're not interested in buying anything.
This place is just getting better and better to shop at everytime I visit.
Nice atmosphere and managed to pick up some bargains.
Good place to get all your designer stuff and you can grab a bargain
Lovely place plenty of designer shops and clean well worth a visit
Nice outlets for major retailers, still not cheap nightmare finding a parking space.
A great place to shop! Parking can be an issue, however they do have a park and ride now a short distance from the Village. They even have their own train station, with good links from London and Oxford. Parking is free. It get be busy, especially in some stores, but they manage with a queueing system, which moves fast. They have a good mix of designer and high street shops.
Around 40 outlets (mostly Branded) had virtual
Queuing through Apps which was absolutely
chaotic , half of them keep closing their apps
for no apparent reason, all due to COVID 19
Pandemic. Parking was problem. Advice is to go
early.
Excellent place for Shopaholics !! Street food is nice ! How come KFC and Mc D not reached here ; May be Both are not world s expensive brands !
Ok place for mid to top end. People dress up to visit, unless your looking to spend a lot I would not advise spending the time to visit
The Chinese love it, a bit like going to Disney land. On a smaller scale.
The place looks very nice and the facilities are excellent. There are workers in the toilet all the time to ensure it is comfortable for the visitors. The prayer room (they call it contemplation room) is nice too. There are many branded shops - quite high end I would say. We could not afford to buy much from the stores. But the items really looked nice. I supposed for people who are used to the brands would be happy to purchase them as they are cheaper than normal. Muslims can get halal food from Farmhouse restaurant (ask for halal menu). There are some food stall that has halal menu too. There are about 1000 parking at the village, but when we arrived at 2.30 pm on Tuesday it was almost full. Plan your trip.
Great crowd, different from high street shopping. Highly recommended. Great designer outlet shops from Dior to Moncler , from All Saints to Zadig & Voltaire
Lots of designer choices
All shops close together
Plenty of toilets
Excellent range of high end branded stores. Some savings to be had if you are prepared to look. On site car park gets full very quickly so used the free overflow car park and shuttle bus option instead. Ideally a few more food outlets would be a good addition.
Great place for shopping but experience greatly spoilt today by a Romanian bathroom attendant, black hair female, who was speaking very offensive words out loud in her language, right next to me and other people being present, just because someone left the tap running.
Visited during early Mar (Convid-19) period hence lesser crowd and shops closes at 7pm. Generally great place to shop with big brands like Gucci, Burberry, Prada. There s a variety of F&B around so you can eat and shop and spent the whole afternoon there! 1h train journey from London Town.
There is no way today there was any social distancing. Need process in place before we come ever again
What can I say? Google map got me there! And train tickets too
Small village, full of outlet shops of very expensive brands.
The atmosphere is very curated, it makes you feel inside a totally different place.
There is the train station next door, where you can easily go to central London.
There are places where you can eat inside, like Pret, and there is also a restaurant.
There are toilets, weelchair accessible as well. And they re free and very clean.
For the COVID situation, there were many employees working outside trying to make people walk on one way system. The face mask is mandatory in all the place, so outside as well.
