My stay at the Sunnyside inn suites was very nice. The rooms were very clean even to the point of swans on my bed made of towels love the creativity. I'm giving an extra special thanks to the housekeeper Liz she's very nice and helpful which is a must in customer service hats off to Liz and all the staff for making my stay very comfortable and inviting .I'll definitely be staying there again on my next business trip in giving the Sunnyside inn a five star rating.

Good location. This property could be worse but could be a lot better. Somewhat run-down. Older property with no elevators and of course they put my 82 year old mother on the 3rd floor. Way overdue for a remodel. Probably the most uncomfortable sagging mattress that I've ever experienced in a hotel. It's very apparent that they do everything "on the cheap". At $120 plus per night not a good value at all.
Continental breakfast and a swimming pool are somewhat of a bonus.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The prices are reasonable. Guest rooms were clean and spacious. Nothing too exciting. It is an average, comfortable hotel. I'd go back again.

Very nice room I was impressed with the customer service of the front desk worker our room wasn't ready when we arrived up to motel and she took it upon herself to upgrade our room for the inconvenience and that was way nicer than I had expected She was the only one working and that was kind of busy but she did a great job of giving us checked in as fast as possible I will stay here again

If you can sleep through some road noise it is just fine. The compression brakes from the nearby highway mildly interrupted my movie, but not my rest. The room itself is small and not the most comfortable, but I've slept plenty worse.

So the stay was great nice people and great rates but the front desk lady Shelly was very rude had a bad attitude and very bad tone the other staff were great the GM Crystal was awesome and very respectful and Michele was very helpful and Amanda even helped me with my bags. I highly recommend.

Housekeeping supervisor Michelle she was super nice handled us very quickly and had amazing customer service she s a keeper ! Recognize her hard work!

Kayla the manager at the front desk is ignorant and naive on Oregon state laws with service animals not only that the whole entire staff Seems to be covering up a Meth drug ring in that place! They're very rude & very quick to judge.

I would never recommend staying here this place should be shut down or the whole entire staff should be reevaluated and a lot of people should be let go!

I'd advise you if you have issues with this place to contact corporate office, and make sure you send them an email, leave the manager's name the time and date that you stayed there.

No humanity in that place, completely heartless!

good price for the room, front desk clerk wasn't overly friendly but the rest of the staff was fine. Room was nice and the in room hot tub was big enough that I think it's the one that Nickleback was looking for in Rockstar

My experience was borderline criminal! The television did not work and staff was unable to fix it. Broken lamp next to the bed. We asked to move to a new room but they didn t have anymore jacuzzi suites which is why we chose this place so decided to settle. No management in sight. Then the jets stopped working in the middle of our soak that night! I tried to fill the tub the next morning and there was no hot water! When does a hotel run out of hot water?! And a broken television? I mean really? I should also add that they charged us a $25 dollar deposit that I still haven t seen from our stay two weeks ago and am having to fight to get back. I have never had an experience so bad that I felt compelled to leave a bad review but there you have it folks! Shame on you Sunnyside!

I have stayed here many times and it was okay but they gave away my room once.

Today I went to check in because my house is being worked on and they where rude. The front desk lady was nasty as hell.

They also charge way more then it s worth an the rooms aren t that clean.

I usually come 1 time a month for a couple

Staff was awesome to work with the room was clean and didn't stink of cigarettes the atmosphere was super low key and calm... Much needed R & R. our stay was all around amazing. Very reasonable rates to boot. Not to mention convenient location for people that love to shop! Thanks again staff at the sunnyside inn we'll see u again soon.

Cleanliness could be improved. No elevators if you have a suitcase to carry. No bathroom door.

Fairly clean facility , fair price . 1 star off for not having a private shower in a two bed room.

Not the place to go for brand new everything, but was clean and works for what it is.

This place will steal your belongings and not contact you when they say they will. The staff at the front desk is very nice but the housekeepers think they run the place and are by far the rudest and most immature people in the hotel industry I know....
Rooms are nice and spacious and the hotel provides a very nice breakfast, that's the only reason why I will give it 2 stars.
You are most definitely getting your money's worth when staying here, however I will never return due to the housekeepers....

Horrible hotel ever ! Never seen such a gross place like in my life ! I just get in the room and Get away right away! Too much noise inside the room. Feel like sitting on the highway ! It s not a place to stay for sure !

It's not a smoke free environment and very noisy by the freeway!

Owners need to fund maintanance. Issues ,and not to use slow season as an excuse to prolong nesassary repairs on rooms,and more hair in my room floor and tub than I have on my head.
Tub. Sagging ,door won't shut unless slammed ,hair everywhere,at least they had working tv,hot water,coffee pot and fridge

We arrived here in the early morning extremely tired. Went to sleep immediately, checked out at 9am, 8 hours later. Literally didn't even have time to turn on the TV, which a week later, they unknowingly charge me an extra 225 dollars for a broken TV. On top of the 125 dollars we had already paid for the room.
Make sure you have them come do a walk through with you upon checkout if you plan on staying here. Though I would not recommend it to anyone who doesn't have money to burn. I'm assuming the charges are of false cause so the manager can get her fix of meth as that appears to be one of the qualifications to working there.

Not good. Over charges and takes your deposits. Never stay there.

Was moderately clean but way over priced and required a credit card for a $250.00 deposit that didn't make much sense. It's kind of a last resort motel because they charge way to much for what you get.

I'm not a picky person but this motel was horable, I booked for 2 nights but only stayed 1, the floor was sticky and dirty my kids socks were black at bottom,the bed frame was broken it was caved in middle, the electric socket was out of the wall I have pictures, the host gave me refund for the night I dont recommend this motel at all

Wonderful people running this hotel. Daily improvements made (I stayed quite a while), so, if you think you know Sunnyside, look again.

I stayed 2 nights this week, for a hospital procedure I was having. My room was very spacious, clean , quiet and the bed was comfortable. The best part of my stay was the staff !! The girls (Amanda & Brittany in housekeeping) were so considerate, polite & very unintruding of my privacy. One thing I always dread, is the sound of" bang - bang-bang, HOUSEKEEPING!" Every morning, if ur leaving or not! I'm so thankful to not have had to wake up to that, when recovering . I didn't feel rushed out, and I would definitely stay again, because of that reason!

*Be careful staying here! Not only is the service TERRIBLE, but they also scam their customers. 1st the room had a shower that sprayed boiling water no matter what temperature it was set at. It actually burned my skin. When I notified the front desk they did nothing and I stayed two nights. 2nd, I don't smoke. When I checked out I asked the lady at the front desk to check the room to make sure everything was good before I left. She returned saying everything was fine and gave me my receipt with the expected amount. The next day I was surprised to find a $250 charge on my account. When I called and explained that I'd had the front desk associate check the room and had not been notified of anything they did not care. It has been weeks of calling and emailing where they flat out refuse to give their names, the name or availability of the GM, an incident report, corporate's number, any evidence or information whatsoever. I have left many messages for the GM, none have been returned. They are extremely rude. To make an unauthorized charge when they didn't hold or or take any deposit, give me any notice, waited over 24 hours to charge it after telling me the room was good, not provide an incident report or any information at all seems very unethical. I would not recommend taking your chances on staying here

Nice workers. Looks like they started remodeling rooms but kept old furniture. Beds are not the greatest and there isn't curtains on the windows. Our non smoking room had a bathroom that smelled like smoke and had cigarette burns on the tub.

Good experience overall, for cheap price. Truely, value for money.

This is a fantastic, place. They are professional and friendly and the rooms are nice and clean.

Friendly staff. Our toilet was clogged (not our poo) , and they do not have a plunger! The room floor is gross. We are too tired to deal with this.

Used to be motel 6. Is very clean and nicely updated rooms. The unfortunate thing is it sitting on that one way road. It's just an inconvenience. Other than that, thumbs up. A great value at what you get for the low cost.

Compared to how this place use to look, it does look better than it did a year ago. I DO give this new staff the benefit of the doubt as they are making improvements. <br/>The hotel is located next to a lot of shopping outlets.<br/>Hotel is across the street from the local Kaiser Permanente hospital.<br/>Hotel is close to a lot of restaurants and easy access to I-205. <br/>I choose to come here because I saw how it was and what it is becoming and want to support a local business trying to correct a wrong from a national branded hotel. Support locally and give these local business owners a chance.

The one star is for the staff. We unexpectedly had to stay the night in Portland and had to find somewhere to stay around midnight. Once we were able.to locate the hotel they did not match the online price of 62.30 per night and charged us 89.00 plus deposit of 25. We both had to present identification which was awkward. The night clerk was funny and did give us an hour late check out. Multiple times she stated though that room damage would be an exhorbent amount and upon arriving to the room we had no toilet paper no wash cloths or hand towels 2 lotions one used and a bar of opened soap. The floors werent swept and there was old coffee on the walls! A damaged lamp and walls what appeared to be missing picture from the wall. Half the bulbs were burned out and the toilet handle was broken and kept running. The bathtub was beyond acceptable and the bed appeared slept on. It didnt smell but there were only 2 towels and one had a squished bug on it...... I am goin to speak to the front desk and hopefully will get some of this remedied. I definatly dont want charged!

Lots of highway noise but staff is friendly and helpful.

Room was not properly stocked. Was also charged an additional unjustified, or even excused/explained, $100 that I am still trying to get to the bottom of.

It was nice for the price. Staff was frendly, continental breakfast was good.

Stayed here a few times. Never had issues until this last time. Lots of tweaking going on in the parking lot. The towels were not even cleaned properly. Worst hotel experience in a long time. Not sure if we will be back!

Pretty standard room. Nothing fancy but things were clean and comfortable.

Lovely location and landscaping, but zero view from our room -- ground floor, all we could see was a small tree in need of trimming and the side of the next building. Room was clean, but we could hear noise from next door, and the floor joists above squeaked terribly. Heater in the bathroom didn't work at all, but room heat/ac/fan did. I'd stay there again for a good price, but I'd rather spend an extra $20-50 for something better.

This is as basic as it gets. The TV literally had 7 working channels. The room didn't have an iron, or ironing board. The bathroom door was patched over but showed obvious damage from being previously kicked in. The staff was good. No complaints. The swimming pool was nice the kids had a good time. All in all this place is an okay option to rest your head at the end of the day. It is clean. The beds squeaked a little bit but they were comfortable.

Booked the house in advance for 10 days. After the first night complained about the traffic noise and got another room the next day. The noise was the same and it smelled so strongly of chlorine that we suspected a defect in the pool. Probably a detergent. My wife left the room around 3am and continued to sleep in the car ....
The next morning around 6:30 a.m., other houses were inspected and checked out in this house without any discussion. The excess debited amount was credited to the account after 2 days.
Unfortunately the bottom of the motels on this vacation.

Had to drive an hour back to my house to get the other person's ID. While waiting a very long time in line, they wouldn't accept a different person's Emerald card (wasnt prepaid) so they had to leave. I finally get up to the counter, and they tell me EVERY one of my cards (debit and credit) was declined for $25 (they have $1000's on them) conveniently after they saw my sick boyfriend. And the room was already paid for. And the staff wasn't friendly or helpful at all.
I went to a different hotel....and guess what....my card worked just fine!

Rooms are pretty run down nothing like the pictures shown outlets havent been updated all loose hard to charge devices, boxspring beds are really old,bathroom shower looks filthy tiles chipped and old tiles missing and toilet was dirty when I arrived , windows are old so free way noise is loud I do not reccomend for $20 more you can find a better place to stay.

This a a C-grade business. At max.

+They host parties for junkies on speed who are running around like cockroaches. On top of rooms of regular guests. Multiple guests have had to change rooms at 12:15 because management does not have the balls to kick a few people out of their room.
+All rooms face the freeway and have single glazed glass. Sleeping is hard even without crazy neighbour's.
+breakfast is little: waffles and cereal. No fruit.
+frontdesk staff tries, but is let down by management.
I would never, ever stay here again.

This place stinks. Never go here. Motel 6 is better. Cold hard floors, no curtains, rattling fan. Freeway noise, stinks, stained sheets. Loud a/c. No ellivator. Dark rusty bucket.

My husband paid for two nights. The female working night audit decided she was going to curse me out after becoming argumentative behind a customer getting involved in our conversation. Being a person of color I was highly offended when this philipino women suggested she was going to call the police because she didn't feel comfortable around me. I was checking in after a two-day long trip on the road and a car accident. It was 1115 in the evening. When I asked the philipino woman if she though I was a threat and not to worry I'm just trying to check in. The female with really short hair bad attitude behind the desk. Screamed at me to not talk to HER guest. Not only did this outlandish behavior from the night audit employee have a male employee lie about her being the manager but she also called the police to have me kicked out and my husband's money was not refunded to his account...this is the THEFT LOOPHOLE. They steal your money after the payment has already went through online. And then tell you they don't discuss with the person making the complaint the results of the complaint.so as far as you know nothing was done. And your out of a room for two days and almost $200.00. and by the way if you don't have a credit card or bank card to pay $35.00 deposit. Then you have to come out of pocket $300-$400 cash money. Make sure you get proof of doing this transaction. The dishonesty here is astonishing. The only rooms that are okay is the jacuzzi room. We had this room for our honeymoon.
Never again.

Alright in a pinch. Outdoor pool is small but clean, carpet was a bit stained, tile was new. Odd thing in a suite is no door between them, and no doors on the shower part of the bathroom. Privacy in the toilet, but you better know your suitemates well enough to shower in front of them.

Toilet ran all night, Jacuzzi tub did not work and you can hear every step from Above. They said they would comp me some money back well that didn't happen. Next time I'll sleep in my car if it's the last hotel!!!

I booked a room from CA, we showed up at 4 am they didn't let us stay because was passed the check in time 3am. Very disappointed since we were driving more then 13 hours from CA to Oregon. We just wanted to get some rest and keep going. Even though our check out was till 11 am. Poorly service.

Very nice, friendly staff, perfect location next to Kaiser Permanente Sunnyside medical center. Able to walk back and forth to the hospital easily.

Do not EVER STAY HERE!! They literally STOLE our belongings and our entire deposit!! We accidentally left our laptop in our room and we noticed right after we checked outside .. anyways when we asked them to check our room for the laptop, they agreed, found the laptop and then refused to give it to us... WHAT?!? Why?!? Before they refused to give the laptop back, we had checked out but we had a lot of walking to do, so my husband asked a staff member if they would put his bag behind the counter for just a little while, while we walked around. When we asked for our bag back, THEY REFUSED!! Then they stole our $250 deposit by lying and saying we stained the sheets.. we didn t leave a single stain on any sheet but even if we did they surely DO NOT GET TO KEEP OUR ENTIRE DEPOSIT!! Don t ever stay here!! I m filing a civil suit against them next week if they don t return everything... the bag, laptop, AND Deposit! DONT STAY HERE!!! DONT STAY HERE!!!

This was an inexpensive place to stay, but I will not stay here again.
My door did not have a latch as most hotel doors do, this felt really unsafe to me. I stayed in a two queen bed room, and I'm glad that I did because one of the two beds had a terrible mattress, I just slept in the other bed. I paid a bit more than I would have for a hotel like this because it said there was a complimentary breakfast. The breakfast seriously sucked, there was a few kinds of cold cereal to choose from, instant oatmeal, waffles, english muffins, and some other small muffins. There was no eggs, no fresh fruit, no yogourt, no good pastries, etc. I was disappointed. They did have hot water for tea, and some good choices for tea, so that is a bit redemptive I suppose.

We werw injured while there by roofing company, though they did workwith us to let our little dog in and veteran and military discounts. Not a bad stay but I've had better.

Nasty...so...nasty...room stunk...floors were slimy...room was beyond noisy, both because of the hwy, and the paper thin walls ..I slept in my clothes as I wasn't sure the matress was anything less than 50 years old, covered in the thinest linen ever...I get it..it's cheap...but still...motel 6 would have been better..

The staff here is delightful and it is a very safe environment. Whether you are in transition or this is just a pit stop this is the place where you should stay.

So my friend and I stayed at the Sunnyside Inn for about two weeks. Our rent was paid early every day, I didn t have any traffic, I was quiet and I was clean. Yesterday early afternoon one of my friends wouldn t stop knocking at my door and I didn t open it because I had been sleeping. Eventually I thought he would have left. 30 minutes later someone is banging at the door I thought it was my friend but it was management she was yelling through the door telling us to open it so my friend did and when she did she pulled my friend out by her arm and asked me to step outside and so I did unaware of what she was doing. I came out and her and another lady went inside and shut the door in our faces. So here we are now outside in our pajamas with no shoes on no phones and our purses we left inside also. The manager was so rude to us and wouldn t even let us get two words with her without saying she was gonna call the police on us in which I was hoping she would do so that I could get some understanding of why she thought it was ok to just put us out with no explanation. We couldn t call the police because our phones were inside of the hotel room with her and when we knocked on the door all the manager would do is open it and ask what and then I asked for our shoes because it was really hot outside. She then closed the door still nothing. I asked one of the workers what they were doing and they said they werent allowed to talk to me. I was just super frustrated so I waited until the manager was done doing whatever it was she was doing inside my hotel room for a hour and a half. Finally the manager opened the door and started putting our bags outside and still no explanation as to why she thought it was ok to go threw all of our stuff. I asked her where our purses were and she said everything is packed in your suitcases. I figured nothing would be missing because I ve stayed in many hotels over the past 12 years traveling for work and you should be able to trust hotel personnel. I am human and I have rights at the end of the day no matter what was found in my room it wouldn t have been found had it not been illegally gone through. I put all of our bags in our car and looked to make sure our purses were really still there and when I did I seen that literally everything I had was gone ran through and shaken up. My stuff was in my friends bags her stuff was in my bags and things were missing. I looked inside my purse to only be so upset words can t express the feeling I had in my stomach to see that every dime I had which was alittle over $700 was gone and all that was left was a ripped in half $20. My friends wallet was gone through also and she didn t have a dime left either. I told my friend to pull up at the office so I could ask why my money was gone along with other things and the manager simply said it wasn t her doings that my friend did it. I literally broke down crying because I just had to move out of my place and I m a single mother barely making it already. They took every dime I had without a explanation. I feel so violated and I feel disrespected to the fullest. Tomorrow I will be contacting the non emergency police to make a police report because what they did was illegal and totally uncalled for. They violated my privacy and they took full advantage of me. They stole from us they lied to us and they didn t feel one bit of shame about it. Karma is gonna get them and all I can do is pray for them because god knows they need it.

They have horrible customer service was locked out of room in the rain for four and a half and the person at the front desk was rude and disrespectful to us didn't even say sorry to us for the inconvenience no did but the maintenance guy. I don't ever plan on staying here ever again

Had a very good stay again. The GM Crystal was very friendly and extremely helpful. Amanda and Michelle were very friendly and accommodating. Ill definitely be back. Good breakfast and great price for the room.

Worst customer service ever at never stay there again they had bed bugs I was disgusted I asked him if I change rooms they wouldn't allow it when I asked for a refund they said I couldn't have one
