My boyfriend and I decided to try Asia Buffet based on the high reviews. We re pretty split on our opinion, but we agree it does not warrant as high of a score as it is given. From my perspective, it was mediocre at best, as it did not offer any stand-out options that couldn't be found at every other Asian buffet. The fried options, including the chicken balls, shrimp, and fish tasted very greasy, and I couldn t eat more than one of each before I felt as if I was filling up on batter and oil. It all tasted quite bland, under-seasoned, and a little processed. The overall options felt a little slim compared to other buffets - only offering two islands of hot food, with most of the choices being fried.

However, my boyfriend loved the fried chicken, and the cooked fish fillets were tasty to us both. Besides our mixed opinions, the service was adequate and the restaurant was very clean, but the buffet's variety of food is generic and can be found at plenty of other Asian restaurants. It was a decent meal, but we don t understand the hype and we aren t in a hurry to visit again.
