I enjoyed my stay as it is really in a central position close to the subway, to the port and the city center. There is a fitness and spa level, the lobby has a bar to go out to and a restaurant.

Rooms are very well done, very comfortable mattresses compared to other hotel chains I've been to. Good color choice of the easy chairs and pillows. The bathroom is very spacious so are the rooms and the amenities are good.

On the bad note, I found hairs in my bed and stuck on the wall of my bathroom. That wasn't nice but it happens. Rooms are a bit noisy because the walls dividing them are a bit thin. You gotta hope to have quiet neighbors or you won't sleep much.

Overall it's a really good stay. I recommend it for the price. Wifi is free and so is the fitness area. Staff is kind. I say go ahead and come here. It's good.

The Duxton is an amazing place to stay! The service was simply sublime, and the room was very luxurious! It's very well set out for a couple or two friends wanting to stay in the city. Literally right next door to the Perth Concert Hall and only a short walk from Elizabeth Quay, it has plenty of attractions nearby and an easy 15 minute walk will get you to Hay Street Mall, Murray Street Mall as well as Perth Underground, Perth Station and the Busport. While there's a restaurant (Firewater Grill) just off of the Lobby, the food seemed expensive and limited, however it had a nice atmosphere and the same luxurious touches as the Duxton has. I would recommend exploring the city for dinner options, Arirang Korean BBQ was a highlight for me! Overall I would definitely stay at the Duxton Hotel again! While it's more expensive than some of the lower end hotels/motels in the area, I think it is much better value for money as the rooms are of a much higher comfort and quality level.

This may not be the newest hotel in Perth but the staff were excellent, location perfect only a short walk into the city, down to the river, Elizabeth Quay, rooms good size, bathroom well appointed. Would I stay there again - most definitely

Absolutely fantastic service. The service of this hotel absolutely made my stay, organising for my room to be across from my grandparents for New Years, organising transport, great options for room service, and answering every silly question. They were constantly attentive and would help with every request. The rooms were also fantastic - probably the cleanest I have ever stayed in and so large! The facilitates were also excellent, with a great pool and gym. My favourite part of the stay was the buffet breakfast (an absolute must). The only pointers would be slightly slow delivery at dinner and slightly slow room service (although the hotel was very busy). Despite this, I will definitely go back when I return to Perth because I absolutely loved my stay.

I was very disappointed with the room we were given for the price charged . I realise the hotel was booked out but I would have booked elsewhere had I knowen. We are country clients and for us its a treat to being pampered in a top class hotel . It is something we look forward to and we kept coming back because we always had a WOW experience not so this time very average.

The food was lovely.

Great hotel. Everything perfect. Possibly a little too perfect meaning it's all a little bit boring with that very traditionally 5 star hotel feel that's run like a well oiled machine. Only I'm part of that machine instead of being a seen as a person and being welcomed in like were old friends.

Fantastic stay, I regularly stay here for a get away with my partner, great location, easy to get to, nice view of the river, rooms are great clean, well maintained never had an issue with anything here, they are regularly cleaned and just always comfortable, service is always exceptional, the staff will accommodate any request you have, and they are always happy and pleasant to talk to. All in all a fantastic place to stay, couldn't recommend the club rooms enough, breakfast and afternoon drinks included who could want more.

We celebrated Xmas with friends at the Duxton. The food was smorgasbord and ok. The waitress and waiters were attentive. Not really happy with the choice of music during the meal. It was loud and we can't hear anyone talking. After that it improved and we were able to dance.

Absolutely one of the worst hotels I ve ever stayed in. Cannot believe these guys have maintained their 5-Star rating. The food is absolute tripe, everything in the gym is broken, and the staff are aloof and unhelpful, with their holier-than-thou attitude.

5 stars for the customer service!

5 stars for the customer service!
We visited the Duxton Hotel for three nights. This was our first stay and the standard room was very good, clean and neat. No complaints here.
What stood out was the customer service. Whilst you may expect things to slip a little during Covid-19 but the delivery of service by the staff was excellent. From the valet s attentive help, receptionists politeness and the waitstaff at breakfast. All exceptional!
We are planning on coming back in a few months.
Thank you Duxton for a wonderful experience!!

Nice hotel in a good location. Got double charged tho and as yet no response to email query. Bloke who signed us out could do with a bit of a tune up on his customer service skills too. Here's hoping we get our refund.
