Staying here atm, our first night. Daughter is loving the room although beds are smallish (doubles) but that's what I booked so get what you pay for i guess.. wouldn't have minded bigger beds though bathroom is nice and came with bath were stay in the twin room... staff have been so amazing the concierge desk bloody A++ nothing but friendly and welcoming. Smiles everyone we've come and gone and more than happy to help. Also made aware that were leaving quite early in the morning so they parked our car out front for our quick get away to freo. Amazing place I highly recommend.

We went to Duxton for a wedding. The food served was one of the best we have tasted for a wedding banquet! Great staff and location also. Parking can be found on the street for free or for a fee nearby. Great experience overall

Delicious food, but the service is sometimes slightly forgetful. Perhaps this is the style they wish to portray. I had the wild mushroom risotto, which was the perfect consistency. Our sides of steamed vegetables (cooked perfectly) and tomato with buffalo mozzarella were and delightfully flavoured. I finished off with the lemon tart that I found had just the right balance of sourness and sweetness.

Definitely would not recommend staying at The Duxton. They have your credit card on file then require you to pay $150 for room service. That you haven t ordered yet. So I ordered room service to then be made to pay by cash or credit when it arrived... I then received a letter under the door asking to call reception in regards to my bill... the $150 was nearly spent (3day stay I worked from the hotel a lot) and would require another $150 payment.. which I didn t spend and never got back even after my partner emailed and requested I be reimbursed and I phoned. House keeping knocked on the door at 5pm to clean my room. Food was overpriced and very average. I was in Perth for business and when my colleagues asked should they book clients in I said definitely not. Recommend you avoid

Super comfy bed and the shower.. THE SHOWER... oh my, felt like I was under Niagara Falls! I ll definitely stay again (if only just to have a shower). Loved everything about staying at the Duxton. The location, the wonderfully spacious room, the friendly stuff and I ve already
mentioned the bed and shower... indeed, all in all a perfect stay! Highly recommended.

I m giving this a 4 star because of the location. It is in the city centre and just a short walk to the river front. (The famous swan river, and bell tower). Where you can take a ferry to different places. The hotel is clean with comfortable bedding, friendly staff. I didn t really like the food at the hotel but because it s so close to all the restaurants in the centre and a short walk to Northbridge, China Town and you can take the free Cat Bus to Subiaco and West Perth it was easy access to the many options. Overall I enjoyed my stay there.

Arrived and had issues with key card - no access to lift, room, or gym. Multiple times had to ask reception to fix access. Only stayed for two nights and had to request assistance six times! In room dining experience - had better from food hall. Paid in cash and they still deducted credit card as well!! Not happy and will not stay there again.

My family and I stayed at the Duxton Hotel over the weekend. From the moment we arrived and the moment we departed was unbelievable service. We would like to say thank you. The service was perfect, the food was great and the beautiful smell was amazing. We were walking into the restaurant and I stopped and said to my partner wow what is that great smell! They had lemongrass candles burning in the foyer that made it so relaxing and a calming atmosphere. To Phill and her team you are fantastic at what you do. What was really great to see is the General manager Ritz clearing plates and cleaning not just sitting back. To me this is a leader not a boss. So we know by seeing this that he cares about his team and the standards in the hotel. So thank you to all at the Duxton Hotel for making our stay so welcoming, and can t wait until we stay again. The only negative I have is where can I purchase the great smells from? I think you need a shop near the elevators so your guest can purchase the amazing product.

Brilliant High Tea. Excellent service. We had a High Tea booked at Tarts. They lost our booking. Many excuses later, we have no booking, the kitchen is closed, we dont have your booking, we no longer deal with this on line company, we didnt get your email etc no offer to fix the problem, we left and rang the Duxton at the last minute. They accomodated us within 20 minutes. The time it took us to drive there, park and walk to the hotel. Excellent greetings and service. Amazing food. Highly recommended.

Excellent location two blocks from the water. It's a bit pricey but spring for the room with club lounge access if possible. Very good breakfast buffet. Save yourself the daily $48 AUD valet parking fee and park down the street at the public lot near the water.

Food and service was great and Deborah was lovely to deal with. Just make sure you have someone watching over your gift table at all times as we had a card with a substantial amount of money removed, the card was too big for the wishing well. CCTV footage only covers foyer, so only people leaving the ballroom from the main entrance can be viewed. Sad ending to what was a great day and night.

My spouse and I went here for our birthday treat and it didn t disappoint. The staff were so helpful and lovely. We had a club king room and it was huge. The access to the club room was a nice touch and from 5-7pm we sat and drank which made up for the extra we paid. The Firewater Restaurant was excellent too. Breakfast was basic but had enough for us to eat and everything was fresh. Would definitely recommend it and would go back.

Not a great stay unfortunately. Stayed in a deluxe twin river view room. Beds are tiny and uncomfortable. Room service was terrible and expensive. Breakfast was average and not very sanitary the way it is set up. Won't be staying again.

Lobby is very nice. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean but due for an update. (My sink had a rusty drain, not good enough for a 5 hotel). Valet service misplaced my keys for a few minutes.

It's so easy to get to this hotel from Fremantle Bus Station. We took bus No 910 at platform 11.Stopped at Adelaide Terrace and walked straight down about 300m to reach the hotel. The location is fantastic. We always did our shopping at Murray St and Hay St by the free red bus opposite the hotel. We also took bus No 24 in front of the hotel to reach King's Park. We stayed here for four days but did not enjoy the small spa pool at all as the water was too dirty.
